"John Hammond used to say that he wanted to show people something that wasn't an illusion, something that was real, something they could see and touch. He wasn't quite able to achieve his dream within his lifetime; only a handful of people ever got to truly see his creations."

"Some people would tell me that Simon Masrani was able to achieve that dream. Seven years ago, I would have agreed with you."

"Except, there is still an illusion. The illusion of control."

"Hammond thought he had control. Masrani thought he had control. They were both wrong. We cannot control dinosaurs. We never have and we never will."

"People have been asking me for years what I think about dinosaurs. Do I want them to live? Do I want them to die?"

Emily Grant glanced down at her notes before looking back up at the room full of Congressmen, "I've realized recently that we've had the answer sitting in front of us for years. In 1997, after the incident in San Diego, John Hammond gave a speech that was televised across the nation. His exact words were, 'These creatures require our absence to survive, not our help. And if we could only step aside and trust in nature, life will find a way.'"

"In my very experienced opinion, we need to remove dinosaurs from human environments, and give them a place to live on their own."

"Dr. Grant," a congressman spoke up, "Humans created these dinosaurs. Surely there's some way we can take dominion over them?"

"With all due respect, you haven't been hunted by these dinosaurs. You haven't spent hours running for your life from them. We will never have dominion over them."

And we're off! Leave a review if you enjoyed it! Hopefully I'll have a semi decent upload schedule with this.
