Chapter 1: Unexpected Meetings And The Truth Comes Out

The First Encounter-Charlie's POV:

Seeing the man look out the window, Charlie Conway froze up immediately and stayed put and grabbed Lester Averman and he nodded then. As he saw a second car pull in and a man dressed in a bright red shirt or sweater then. As they saw a third car barely miss the first, as they heard a loud whistle blast from the 2nd car and then a stern shout. "Hey freeze, freeze you two, stop!" the man shouted at the duo and they nodded sternly.

"That's not an undercover cop, we only hear that whistle blow in practice and said coach is calling out orders." Averman said smiling and Charlie nodded as he answered him. "A whistle and a warning tone to freeze up right now, well I know that sounds like a coach. He's a coach, look at his sweater, bright red with a white etching on the left shoulder, in two letters, that must be the school or academy he coaches at, so he is one, Averman."

"But he must be a high school one." Charlie said and Averman nodded quickly and they charged to the second car as the duo took off. "Sir, you okay?" he asked and the man nodded gently. "I knew it, whistle and you're dressed in a school style winter sweater, you're the school JV or Varsity coach." he said and the man nodded. "Jesus, you little monsters you trying to kill someone here!" they heard and he turned to the other driver.

"You guys okay?" Charlie shouted out to the driver of the 3rd car and he nodded in relief. "Fine, but if that's not crossing the line and nothing is right now, but wait til their parents hear this, but that wasn't the darn paper bag on fire. Did it ever cross their minds that just stopping suddenly could cause a car accident, in a 2 to 3 car pile up?" the second driver asked and the driver of the car in front of him got out and moved them sternly.

"Mr. Porter!" Charlie said in amazement and he nodded gently. "One of my mother's frequent customers at the diner, she works at Mickey's diner and the construction site workers go there." he said and the coach nodded. "Nice timing, but at least this gives us a clear case of nearly not you or Averman, let me guess, Peter and David did it again, and this time. They nearly caused a 3-car pile up here, Charlie?" the worker asked and he nodded as the first driver said it gently.

"Yeah and what's worse then the cops exactly giving that shout out?" he asked and the coach nodded. "And that would be your own coach or said player's father who is one and of all the people that catch these guys in the act it could be both if you're mine. And I just never knew it, your mother, Casey Jacobs?" the man said and he nodded gently. "Yes Sir, my name is Charlie Conway, maternal family the Jacobs, Uncle Hank's a cop." he said and he nodded gently then.

"Henry Jacobs, his twin Casey and our friends, the Monroes, Halls, Avermans, Goldbergs and Tremaines." he said in response and Averman froze up at that in shock. "Whoa, you know my father?" he asked and he nodded. "Ricky, yeah I do, but I know 80% of the team in personal life, but if you walked right into me, I got to let the guys, Claire and Casey know I back." he said and they nodded smiling. "I'm retired, pro hockey." he said and they nodded smiling gently.

"You're a pro hockey player and you're training young athletes here, man if your current set are not conforming, they're screwed here, who is it exactly?" Charlie asked and he crossed his arms. "Jack Reilly's last set, they're my current team." he said and they nodded in disgust. "The Hawks older brothers are your current set and they're refusing your training. Dead man walking, if you became our coach, we'd destroy their brothers." Averman said and he nodded gently to him.

"And with those words, if you ever need a back up coach, I can do that guys, aside from that, with the fact I know your parents in 70% of you guys. As you guys look like me and Rick in all truth, let me guess, but Claire, Jason, Adam and Joe's kids all look like a cub version." he said and they nodded. "Yeah the quartet and we are a 10 year old version to our adult counterparts." Charlie said and he nodded as they heard a firm tone from the black car's driver then gently.

"Where are those monsters?" The first asked and Charlie shook his head at that remark then. "I don't know and if this is not the blasted dummy over the bridge railing and nothing is right now in truth. But I guess it never crossed their minds of us checking on you to see if you're fine changes things so quickly. That lets us off as we had no idea what he had in mind right now, but we just turned them into you right now anyway."

"Just go ahead and say it, they're Culkin in that sociopathic nature, we're his counterpart, the narrator." Averman said and the trio nodded at that. "Good thing we stayed put, and is that a booster seat in your car, Sir?" he asked and the red sweatered wearing man nodded gently. "My daughter, I just got off practice at the moment, my baby girl goes to your grade school." he said and Charlie nodded as he looked at him gently then at that.

"Lovely timing, we walk right into who could be our very last coach right now, if they chose your best friend to coach us next." he said and the man nodded. "That and the possibility I could be your father in truth, but these little brats now. Did that thought ever occur to them, I could be coming down the block and barely miss it here?" he said sternly and Charlie nodded as he left his hand on the window frame then at that remark.

As he answered him then gently. "Took off right now, but that was his idea not ours, we had no idea he was going to trick you into that." he said and the first driver nodded sternly. "And what if that caused a pile up, did that ever occur to these brats, huh?" the man dressed in a red sweater said sternly and he shook his head. "No it didn't, uh..., Coach." he said and the man nodded gently to him then to confirm that thought then.

"Just got off work and you run right into us huh?" Averman said, sighing in relief and he nodded as he looked between them. "Charlie Conway and Lester Averman, district 5, hockey." Charlie said and the man nodded gently. "Peewee league hockey team, huh, Ted Orion, nice to meet you guys." he said gently and they smiled in relief then at the quick thinking to turn it around as they heard a police car siren then arriving then firmly.

"As in former North Stars Ted Orion?" he asked and the man nodded and he smiled. "Oh boy, just wait till the truth comes out and what if you become our coach in later years. I hear that tone in your voice so much, we're used to it." Charlie said and he chuckled. "And that or I get a back to back training situation everyday after school ends as you end up having me as a back up coach, as I train you." he said and Charlie nodded, smiling.

"I take it baby is the reason you retired, if there is what looks like a wheelchair in the back seat next to the harness?" he asked and Orion nodded. "Car accident last year, but my daughter is in junior kindergarten." he said and Charlie nodded. "Like we said baby, so baby sister, alright you idiots, he's already been in one accident. And doesn't need another this soon after baby just recovered." Averman said and Charlie crossed his arms.

"Wait Averman, as in Richard Lester Averman?" Orion said and he nodded. "That's my dad." he said and Orion smiled. "Well you're the spitting image of your father kiddo, what are the rest of your original members names aside from that duo?" he asked and Charlie explained it. "Connie Monroe, Jesse and Terry Hall, Guy Tremaine and Greg Goldberg." he said anf Orion nodded. "I thought so, you look like me." he said and Charlie smiled then.

As a cop came over. "Close call fender bender and car three nearly ran right into the target of another practical joke, we had to check number 2 and got a name, Uncle Hank." Charlie said and the cop and his partner nodded. "Could have been a lost worse if they skidded out and into a t-bone, Charlie, but nice work, everyone okay?" he asked and they nodded as Orion got out of his car and they saw an E.H. on the left shoulder of his sweater.

"Thought so, you're a borderline high school age coach." Charlie said smiling and he nodded. "Thanks for the help guys and in checking on us, we appreciate it right now." Orion said smiling and he nodded gently. "For gods sakes right now, how many times can you brats get in trouble, before we go to probation. Well if the city government doesn't choose a new coach and we and your parents will." They heard and Charlie nodded.

"We're coachless, again, the last had a heart attack right now in truth, these idiots keep chasing away our coaches and the 5th had a heart attack right now." Charlie said and Orion nodded. "Well looks like this is the end of the line, but you ever need a back up just tell me, as I'm possibly the last in your line of coaches, before college here." he said and Charlie nodded. "If you are and just meeting you, can't wait." Charlie said and he smiled.

"Better get home guys, and see you guys soon." he said and they nodded as they split up and headed to two different building not far from them and Orion nodded...

Before The Jets Game-Charlie's POV:

As the attack by the Hawks came to an end they heard a whistle blast. "Hey watch where you're going guys, before you get hit here, slow it down!" they heard a familiar voice say and Averman and Charlie smiled. "Coach Orion, Averman come on!" Charlie said and they ran to the sidewalk to check. "Hey Coach, good to see you again." Averman said smiling and he smiled. "I take it these guys jumped you?" he asked and he nodded gently then.

"You couldn't have picked a better time then that as you heard the noise back here right now, but first us to you and now you to us. This keeps up and the next time we see each other our new coach just had a big problem here, but it's not getting off to a good start." he said and Orion nodded gently. " I take it he's a first timer, as a coach, but watch the language." he said and he nodded as they heard a quick running then and turned at that.

As they saw the duo run for it. "Guys go home, we'll talk tomorrow, he's a school coach we're making arrangements with." Charlie called out to Guy and the Halls and they nodded and left. "I saw the duo, it's the 2 little monsters that nearly caused the car accident 2 weeks ago. Boys, I choose to be your coach, you're facing me later right now, but I got a strong bond with your captain and his 2nd." he said sternly to their reaction.

"Just wait till said circumstance now results here in you just arriving in time for the debate of whether or not we make it to the playoffs here. The news just got out, but the Panthers caught the measles, so they're out, but the last 10 teams. But we're playing the jets next, so we'll see what happens here." he said and Orion nodded gently. "Like you I too did peewee hockey, who's your new coach?" he asked and he sighed gently then.

"Gordon Bombay, know him?" he asked and Orion nodded, sighing. "He quit, because of Reilly himself in truth, but he blew a shot in overtime. Before you judge him, he had his life dismantled as directly after his father passed." he said and Charlie nodded. "Better head home, with us living in the city, it's dangerous." he said and they nodded. "See you later coach, good seeing you again." he said and Orion nodded as he watched them...

After The Cardinals Game-Orion's POV:

It was after the last game Orion saw the duo now dressed in green jerseys with blue pads and helmets, before they looked up and then smiled. As they waved at him and he waved back as they skated over. "Outside rink practice, guys?" he asked and they both nodded smiling. "Yeah we just gained our uniforms, and fresh start, the coach and I yanked it together, we're okay, but his mentor just dragged something up right now, in truth.'

"If it's what I think, then what's your opinion when we need added help?" Chsrlie asked him gently. "If he's a good player then you need all the help you can get, as with your sharp shooter. he needs to protect the girls, it's you guys focus on scoring he protects the girls." he told him and Charlie nodded. "Well, this causes a forfeit you're the first to know as 2 blown games, a tie and now a forfeit." he said gently to that and he nodded then.

"Alright if this cancels practice, and you're with your mother, where is she working?" he asked him and he smiled. "Mickey's diner, a couple blocks down from the radio station." he said and Orion nodded gently to him at that remark then gently. "Time's up boys if I nearly get a call in what you did this time, alright if you need me, just give the call, I'm ready." he said gently and they both nodded as he saw their coach with a smile then...

The Mutiny And The Meeting-Charlie/Orion's POV:

Working on his homework at the diner his mother worked in Charlie Conway felt someone tap him on the shoulder. "Hey buddy." he heard and turned to see his coach Gordon Bombay. "How did it go, any luck in talking to them?" he asked and Charlie sighed. "I tried to, but they think I'm a traitor for even showing up..., was it true that you used to be a Hawk?" he asked and Gordon nodded. "Yeah it is." he said and Charlie nodded then.

"Peter said you blew a very big shot." he said and Gordon nodded. " Well Peter's right, it was the championship game and I was just fouled, I get a penalty shot. Triple deke, I faked the goalie right out of his pads and it was going in, and then clang." he said and Charlie nodded. "Hit the post and we lost in over time, 1/4 of an inch it would have gone in, a 1/4 of an inch, Charlie." he said and Charlie nodded to him gently as he said it.

"Yeah but a 1/4 of an inch the other way and you would have missed completely." he said and Gordon nodded as he thought it over and then realized he was right. "I never thought about it like that before, thanks buddy." he said and Charlie noded, before he could go further then his mother Casey came over then. "Hey Gordon." she said and he smiled then. "Cup of coffee?" she asked and he nodded as he answered her gently.

"Thank you, I'd like one." he said and she moved away from them. "Alright wise guy don't say it for all I know is her ex boyfriend if they're still on good terms. Said is hanging around here right now." he said and they heard a chuckle from the spectators listening to conversation. "There should be a way to fix this unless..., was there a camera in the hall you were in?" he asked and Gordon nodded and he smiled as his mother came then.

"Hey guys, I got an idea, I'm going to Uncle Hank, but I saw a picture of another boy that looks like me standing next to you in your locker, who was that?" Charlie asked and he said it quickly. "That's my best friend Ted Orion, Charlie." he said and Charlie smiled and he nodded. "Ted Orion, I ran into a Coach Orion the week before you became our new coach!" he said and Gordon nodded in shock at thet news then gently at that.

"You walked right into Ted that week, after my community service got started?" he asked and Charlie nodded. "Long story, but the short of it was he said if we ever needed a quick replacement in case of trouble call him. Hang on, you think you could get him, he holds your place till we get this fixed." he asked and Gordon nodded as Casey smiled at his idea. "Or just do it now and end it before it gets worse." she said and then heard it then

"Too late son, I was just getting off work at the academy." they heard as Casey looked up at that. "Hey Coach, good to see you again right now." Charlie said smiling and the man smiled as he gave him a hug and he gently tightened his arms around him. 'There's my boy, yeah good to see you too cub.' he thought smiling then as he hugged him and Casey smiled at the response as he buried his head into his shoulder, before letting go, knowing his bond was strong.

'Dad.' she saw him thinking gently. 'Yeah that did it finally right now, it's been a month and I know if he knew him on sight, then…., oh my god, I forgot what Ted looks like at this age. Ted is it really you man, you're his real father, I know that's what he's thinking about you, Dad.' Gordon thought, hiding a smile at the reaction as he saw the same look on her face. 'Well left in good hands now, if he's been with him all month in between practices right now in this case.'

'Oh boy, before Gordon came into the picture he bonded to him, unless…., Ted is that really you?' she thought smiling gently at his response to her friend's counterpart with the man her age gently as Gordon smiled, as his counterpart moved to the counter as he sat down at the counter. "Ted, that really you, baby?" she asked and he smiled and she smiled happily "Ted Orion, I never thought I'd ever see you again." she said smiling and he smiled as he answered.

"Missed you too Casey, long time honey." he said to her and she smiled at him gently then. "We got married in high school Gordon, been together for 3 years leading into my acceptance. And into the Stars, but 3 years, I'm not sure what made the decision of divorce to hit here. But looks like, if she decides on the same for you two, step back." he said gently and Gordon nodded. "It's what caused you to retire actually honey, Charlie told me about Karen, and with that now."

"I take it he found you, and started growing attached, Ted?" she asked and he nodded. "Yeah, I walked right into him and Lester, but the bond, of father and son, if this is. In truth, what you never told me, fell into place so fast, he's nearly called me dad like 10 times in a month." he told her and she smiled. "We'll talk later on that, but yeah, it's you, he's your's, Rick split on us 8 months ago." she said and he nodded sternly to the news while, feeling relief she said it gently.

"You're my real father, I walked right into you, and in a month every time we see each other, Averman knows what's shooting through my mind here." Charlie said and she nodded. "Rick sees you guys and he's going to know immediately in the automatic response you gave him. But father bear with his cub bear." she said and he smiled. "It's in your blood, like he said, he's a professional player, but he's been playing, since he was 9 to now." she said and he nodded then.

"Rick hates Hockey, but Charlie's love for it, he followed in your footsteps." she said and he nodded smiling. "Well I'm retired as a pro player, his sister is 5 years old and was injured last year in a car accident, I quit to raise her, but if he's mine. I just gained another big reason to quit, I get to watch the boys, her and Connie grow up. The Monroes, Avermans, Halls, Tremaines and Goldbergs." he said and she smiled and Gordon smiled as he got it then as she said it then.

"I think they were praying this was never going to happen, we get a coach that won't stop, and said coach gives me the strength to stand up to these guys. You're the said Coach dad, not only a coach, you're my father, soon to be mentor." he said and the older man nodded. "Well I'm their worst nightmare come now at the moment, but this is serious, time for a gang meeting. So with that in mind, Gordon, I'll handle this, before a team meeting is getting called here now."

"Jason's just like me, so he hears this, there's going to be an earful given to whoever said it first right now." he said to him then and he nodded. "Uh oh." they heard several teenagers say and he nodded. "That's an understatement boys, but not just a normal coach, I'm the father of the captain of the team, instead of basketball is hockey, pro hockey guys." he said and they nodded. "Dead man walking here, boy are you going to get it Marks." the leader of the trio said sternly.

"Long story Gordon, but it's the attachment I'm worried about, Rick left 8 months ago." she said and he nodded to her. "Strong bond, buddy?" Gordon asked and he nodded. "I bumped into him and Lester in truth first, before seeing Jason and Derek's cub's selves. And along with Jason's other son." he said to him and Gordon nodded. "That's Jason Hall, Derek Tremaine and of course Rick Averman, so where's Joey?" he added gently and she chuckled as she answered him then.

"He's got a butchershop and diner a few blocks up from here, Ted." She said smiling and he nodded smiling. "Joseph Goldberg, and Claire Monroe is Casey's best friend, but we're the kids as adults, Gordon." he said and the cook started laughing. "So you know my player's parents?" he asked and he nodded. "High school to college age best friends, we knew each other all our lives, but I may have walked into my cub self here now." he said and Gordon nodded smiling.

"Well I can see it already, if I deaged you 20 years, you look like Charlie." the waitress matron said smiling and he smiled gently as he looked at Charlie. "In truth we bumped into each other, but it's like every other week we keep running into each other and though not his teacher. Not yet at the moment, he trusts me, Casey, he's safe, like he said we ran into each other. And 1 week before Gordon took over at the time here, but it was after the Hawks jumped them."

"I ran into the boys, him and Lester a second time, as they realized, if I was there, school practice just let out. But it's like every time I turn around, I keep catching the tail end of whatever is going on in their team right now. But your troublemakers on the team crossed a line that could have wrecked my car, again." he said and they nodded. "Do I even want to know what happened now?" she asked and the man ran his hand through his hair firmly then.

"It's the bag loaded with you know set on fire, only instead of a paper bag, it's a purse, the guy that these 2 little monsters did this to. Chucked it out the car window, and I tried to arrest these brats, before Charlie and Lester came to me." he said and they nodded. "And Averman and I changed, let's just say that's another reason said traitor remark is not being let go in your case." Charlie said in response to that and they nodded then.

"We ran into each other 3 times right now, but each one was just before you switched it from our district name to now, and we were at the pond in practice shots. Seeing him watching us, we immediately skated over to talk." Charlie said and Gordon nodded. "The attachment just started in addition to me, you grew close to your future coach." he said and Charlie nodded as she hid a smile at the news as she watched her son look at him.

With the look of a near 11 year old to his father and smiled. "The trio saw Coach Orion briefly and I sent them home after we got jumped by Banks and the duo. Which was when Fulton came into the picture and these idiots nearly skated directly. And out in front of his car right now, but same warning shout at the time, 2 weeks apart. Early stages, we considered preteen Greasers, these guys in the Hawks are Socs." he said and the coach nodded sternly then to the news.

"Though a waitress, I can't afford to get you some real equipment and you got to save up, or at least I didn't till you asked for said loan from the firm, Gordon." she said and Gordon nodded. "Well if there is back secret to why Banks is acting like, the truth is about to come out right now. As for your immediately checking the victims right now for any injuries, that lets you off." Gordon said and the cook and diner matron nodded then.

"Sounds like the screenplay for Culkin's movie, you're playing the part of the narrator, these little brats are Culkin's character. And you convinced us, before these littl brats tried to turn it around, but it's good to have a witness. That's an adult witness confirm the story to what happened there that day, to get the good cubs off the hook. And the dangerous are facing a case of severe probation." The matron said and the cook nodded.

"Called me a traitor and Fulton with me, but that was a possible rumor, what about what I just told you, and you got an adult witness to confirm?" he asked and she and Gordon nodded as the matron and the adult customers nodded. "That's stone cold certainty here, two adult witnesses and…" the cook started to say and a man in black winter jacket tapped Charlie on the back and he nodded. "Make that 3, I'm the third adult witness." he said as he sat down then gently then.

"Jack." she said and he nodded. "I can verify what Ted told you, but Charlie and Averman froze up, and then charged over to check on Ted. Before calling out to me and Porter, after this nearly ran right through the construction site." he told her and she slammed her hand on the counter. "How many times have their parents and I told you to stay out of there, it's the middle of winter and in these temperatures, what if one of them dropped something here right now."

"And you're standing in the middle of the drop zone?" she said and Charlie nodded sternly to her then as he answered her. "I decided to make sure they get nailed to the wall for a near car accident, but he and dad, if that's who the coach is to me now. Were the two adult witnesses, but the idiots, after the guy they pranked looked out the window. I grabbed Averman and we both froze up at the whistle blow then, before going to him." he told her and she nodded then.

"Karp's penchant for cruel, disgusting practical jokes nearly caused a near murder on said movie those two brats took off though Ted told them to freeze." the man said and she nodded. "Dead cub walking, you just gained your jerseys and numbers, your jerseys, so #'s 24 and 11. Is Dave Karp and Peter Marks nearly caused a 3-car pile, and #'s 96 and 4, Charlie Conway. And Lester Averman decided to report into Officer Hank Jacobs." the man said and she nodded sternly.

"Issues with the side effects, once you get your jerseys and numbers, everyone in town knows who you are in the peewee leagues." the cook said and he nodded. "Well just imagine the headlines that once again, #96 just prevented a car accident that #'s 24 and 11 caused. And by grabbing said purse and throwing it in the garbage catch, before anyone else ran over it. As for said mutiny, Peter's trying to blackmail us." he said and they nodded in shocked fury at that.

"Too late you little brat, Charlie turned you into us, to get him and Lester out of the hole, but that was a rumor, this was stone cold truth. And the 2 adult witnesses along with the target of said sadistic and disgusting prank. Just turned you into the adults and the cops, let alone your original coach, but what if the co-coach is your peer's father?" A customer at a booth said and he nodded. "Dead cub walking, he just turned him into me." the coach said and he nodded.

"It's blackmail, but Averman sides with Fulton and me, he's going to tell you we had something to do with that." he told them and they nodded. "And instead the out is after I get in you told us immediately and turned the tables on that little monster." the coach said and he nodded. "And anyway who are we going to believe, the kid that gets in trouble every other day with the cops. Or just the faculty, or our golden child, but you could do no wrong in our eyes in truth here."

"And you did the right thing by immediately checking the victims and telling the cops how close it could have been here." the cook said in shocked disgust at that remark. "Averman's stuck between a rock and a hard place, he agrees with me and Fulton. He's going to possibly rat him out that he was involved in said accident and instead I told you our version." he said and they nodded. "Dead duckling walking here." the construction worker said and Gordon nodded sternly.

"There a reason everyone in the diner knows who you are, kiddo?" he asked and he nodded gently to him. "Yeah before I got into the peewees, after school let out, mom brought me back here with her while I did my homework, she was attending to our normal string of customers. So to the duo, her boss in being a waitress, is Amy Chapman, and that's Eric Whitmore, the cook." he said and Gordon nodded gently to him as the duo in question nodded gently then.

"I can get you and Averman off on a warning, but this means you're on study period." he said and Charlie nodded. "That's too late for that as I took care of it already: he and Lester are in a study period with me after school everyday, since the Jets." he said and Gordon nodded. "Then I'm tripling practice and you quadruple the study periods, we keep these guys off the streets. So you're my co-coach, and possibly the father of my captain of the team, well this helps highly."

"Alright, if I get a try out with the minors, Ted…." he said and the man nodded. "Had it handled, Lester and Charlie are enjoying my training tactics, they're happy with me. But I'm getting ready to drop the bomb on Lester, if Casey and I have to talk here now. Lester loves my daughter like a baby sister in truth, and she loves Charlie like a brother. But if he's mine, my kids find their way back to each other finally." he said and Gordon nodded gently to him then.

"Well this stops said exchange we would have had after I tell him, I'm passing them to you next, they spent every summer training with you, they can't wait. And for their first season under you as their full coach, you're my exact personality, just the next step up. And the boys love you like a father now, and the same will be said for Fulton when he gets to know you." he said and he nodded gently in agreement to his thoughts as he focused on Charlie gently to answer him.

"Well as for this though, kiddo, just who is this kid kidding right now exactly, he just got caught in his lies and you turn them into your mother and me, as well as Gordon. So a traitor huh, when you chose who could be your own parent as your team leader here now. Well I warned you guys, but time's up, and here I am now, gentlemen, but I said to your team mates now. That if your coach ever needed a back up to coach, I would take the job instantly, and here it is now."

"Tried to get Jason and instead Charlie chose me, before you could do that Gordon, I promised him I would if he ever needed me." the man said firmly and Gordon nodded sternly. "Alright, so Charlie just planned out their future, before I could arrange all of this right now. With Dean Buckley, that's the goal in Charlie's eyes, if there is more to your bond then I know. Right now, and Charlie picked their last and final coach for me." he said and the coach nodded then to him.

"I did and though close to you, after we got to know each other, he and I bonded tightly, that I'll be fine when you pass us to him now as the last of our coaches. Nothing's changed, still us, we got each other, we got him, we'll be okay now." Charlie said and Gordon nodded gently. "But if there is one thing I know, is that I want my entire 5 years under him as our coach. If he's my real father, then he's my goal, playing for him, I never wanted anything more right now."

"We'll be fine coach, we're in good hands so you get a try out with the minors, we got him training us before and into the next season." Charlie said and Gordon nodded gently. "With meeting him, and several years together leading into high school right now. I did a bit of research on the academy, we're out of the school system as of right now. Playing for ourselves, but start at the academy, we play for the whole and he and I were making plans for this."

"But that's where I been the last few weeks till you got off work, I'm with him and his family." he said and Casey nodded. "Claire and Erica said after practice you been in tutoring, but she never said who with, though Rick said you and Les' are with a Coach Orion. So he's where you been everyday after practice, you been doing your homework at his house?" she asked and he nodded and the cook shook his head as the Matron hid a chuckle as Casey said it smiling.

"Trustworthy adult and teacher, let alone the even bigger possibility you could be with your father till I got off work right now. And that's fine baby, it's fine, so staying out of trouble and the immediate place you're at is at a teacher's house being tutored. And by your future coach right now." she said and Gordon shook his head as he tried to hold it in then. "Early start right now, but grades and health requirements, preparing to go under him as the years go by."

"But if the Hawks are all going to the academy, aside from them, the academy looks to be a pretty nice place, but we get in on scholarship. This is going to be worth it as our gig after 3 championships and leading into our 13th birthdays. As the entire team is together, we got each other, we got him we'll be fine, but we're not changing coaches a third time." he said and they all nodded. "Well that I understand after 4 years with us." Gordon said gently and he nodded.

"But you and he are my mentors, I can't see playing for anyone else, but you guys, though you're hearing what I would have said in a debate after a game violation. Between us mom, but not me specifically, but Peter and you as our parents." he said and she nodded. "The repeated attitude problems, if they thought Gordon was just going to leave, here's the consequence. As you just picked a stricter coach and one who hears this attitude day in and day out at work."

"And saying this for all of us, we don't care who your coach is, Ted or Gordon, his behavior out there was beyond juvenile. What just because of a misguided insult, and he was referring to Reilly and his team, not you, it's back to this again. Don't think so right now, how long can this go on before we, as your parents choose the next one for you. And it's a case of our way or the highway right now?" she asked and he nodded as the coach nodded sternly in agreement then.

"Get ready for the profanity before he calls you a drill sergeant dad." Charlie said and he nodded gently. "With you and the 10, if Adam joins in right now, is you don't mind what I got you doing before practice starts, because you been doing it for 4 years after Gordon leaves. And 1996 was your last season, before the graduation and from one grade to the next. And right into the academy, as the smile of pride on your face says it all to me." he said and Charlie nodded then.

"These idiots driven away 4 coaches and the last one had a heart attack, I think his bad cholesterol was through the roof." he said and the man nodded sternly. "Darn fool, you shouldn't even be drinking around the kids right now anyway, well fortunately here. Is like your mother said I hear this attitude he would be giving me day in and day out at the academy. But teacher, coach, nothing these guys say or do will push me into leaving until they leave themselves."

"But you knew there was more to me then what you see at first impression after all the time we spent together right now, but this kid's in need of a serious wake up call." he said and she nodded in agreement to his opinion as she answered that gently then. "After he cools down and to repeat this, but no Sir, you're not going anywhere, you get in that corner. And do your homework, we just watched you jeopardize your hockey career and we will now allow you."

"To do it to your studies." She said and he pretended to be the ring leader of the duo of trouble makers on his team. "You have no idea what it's like playing for this guy." he said and she said it. "We don't care who your coach is, your behavior out there was juvenile." she said and he tried to the blame it on him. "Yeah, because Coach Orion…." he started to say and she said it. "Because Coach Orion nothing, you used to feel the same way about Coach Bombay, remember."

"So I think that the only think that needs to change around here is your attitude problem right now." she said and her counterpart nodded sternly. "In which case, that reaction in losing your temper, and destroying your stick, because they're sleeping on the job is uncalled for right now. All I can say is thank god I found you this soon, so you never change at all right now and what if I am your father, Gordon is out of the picture, but we get these next 9 years together now."

"You never change at all, mine or not, if you need me, I'm right here, and I always will be, son." he said and Charlie nodded smiling softly and Gordon smiled in relief he said that. "I know, but if you found your way back to your biological father, that's my other concern. Though our bond is strong, you got him back and nothing changes, you stay you forever. But that's the real reason I'm ticked off, as these guys don't get the dangers of parental abandonment right now."

"Our relationship is strong, but your bond with him is father/son, that's even stronger and frankly, were it not for you finding him this soon. The damage this causes is enough you change into Peter, but that happens and everyone connected to us is going to kill the reason. For that vocally, but that was forestalled by you finding him and this soon right now." he said and the cook exchanged furious looks with Casey at that remark as he answered his remark sternly.

"No kidding none of us are taking it lightly at the moment, so you said, baby, that they barely caused a 3-car pile up?" the matron asked and Charlie nodded gently and they both nodded then. "Well I call that dead cub walking here, the one that could be his father is your co coach now, Coach Bombay." the cook said and Gordon nodded gently in agreement to that. "Yeah dead cub walking, but that was a rumor, not true what you guys told us is and the duo is done."

"Alright gentlemen, what do you take me for, a complete idiot, Charlie turned you in for near murder and destruction of personal property, malicious mischief. Your records of trying to save yourself are finished as Charlie just turned you into me right now. I can get you off on probation, but you're deactivated till further notice right now, starting now here. But in other words now, Ted, you just met 1/5th of my good players, before meeting the Halls and Guy."

"You never met Connie, Goldberg or Fulton yet and the Duncans with them, yeah alright and thanks for the help, Ted." he said and the man nodded smiling. "From just before the Hawks to now, we keep running into each other, the last was just before this. And after I saw their uniforms, I told them if they ever needed a back up coach, I can take it. I told him a bit about that penalty shot, before you told him the rest right now in truth."

"Because these guys are listening to the duo you possibly tried to arrest and I did warn them sooner or later they were going to get in enough trouble. Just to put them in Juvenile Hall, looks like this was the said circumstance." he said and he nodded. "Hank said we had 2 more, we got to get these guys off the streets." he said and Casey nodded. "Eden Hall, so you're their JV coach?" she asked and he nodded to her as he said it then.

"So luckily with Charlie telling me where you worked and I came here, before seeing Gordon come in here and arrived in time for that conversation." the man said and she smiled and nodded gently. "Nice, more then a simple teacher you connect to, it's now possibly your last coach in the line of said right now. But if there is more between us then I thought now in truth and I know you walked right into your real father here finally."

"But this was what was worrying me after he grew closer to you, Gordon, issues with attachment and you're the closest thing to a father he has." she said and Gordon sighed in relief. "And instead of abandonment right now, we just got him together with their future coach and possibly his biological father. Nice work boys, you understand the dangers of parental abandonment right now, if it's a boy right now, this is dangerous."

"Charlie's walking right into, possibly, his biological father just prevented his change of personality once they, you, switch coaches." he said sternly and the coach nodded as Charlie as he answered him then. "Averman and I walked right into your successor and picked him for you, Coach, he said if there was trouble give him a call. But look like I don't have to when he comes to us." Charlie said and the cook chuckled at that remark.

"Good first impression as we, before the immediate urgency gets called into question, I take it it just happened now finally here. That our meeting that day results in something, that our two miscreants just did something to make that decision?" the man said gently and he nodded to him. "Yeah the idiot never considered listening to the entire conversation to hear the switch of if we make it to the playoffs in your words, as adults."

"To something else now, though what I don't know exactly." he said to him and he nodded gently. "That would be if we are to make to the playoffs, well got to get that tape so we can hear the entire conversation. But the losers and don't deserve to live remarks are aimed at Reilly and the Hawks. Because whatever is going on right now is connected to this." he said and the cook passed him a newspaper and he pulled a pen out then.

"There it is, this explains Banks's emotional well-being he's trying to hold it together and gathering the money to help his sister right now. Alright you little brats, if you're trying to raise money why not dish out some yourself, you are wasting time. Time baby just does not have by doing it like this." the waitress matron said and the coach nodded. "And like we said, they're losers don't deserve to live." the coach said sternly at that remark then.

"I never knew who Casey married, but seeing you, you look like a cub me, so I knew there was the possibility you could be mine. Reason being as you're an exact replicate of me when I was your age right now, but Casey, is Casey Jacobs. She's my high school and college sweetheart." he said and Charlie smiled as Casey looked at him. "We broke up at 21, because of my shot into the NHL." he said and that did it as she looked him over.

As Casey looked at the red sweatered wearing man then gently and then de-aged him and smiled. "Ted, boy am I glad to see you honey." she said and he smiled. "Missed you too." he said to her gently. "That's mom's maiden name, Jacobs, so you guys, is there something you need to tell me right now, if she's calling you that, Old friend, mom?" Charlie asked and the man chuckled as she smiled at her gently then gently smiling.

"You could say that son, your mother was my girlfriend in high school to college, before I got picked by the North Stars." He said and he nodded in amazement then gently to that. "Was there a second reason right now, if you've retired from the NHL and you're a high school teacher?" he asked and the man nodded smiling. "Yeah my daughter was injured last year and she's wheelchair bound, so I retired now." he said and the trio nodded then.

"Boyfriend, so instead of possibly a connection between us, I leave and..., no you're not serious right now, did you Ted?!" Charlie said, dropping his tone and he nodded. "That letter was a sore subject, we took a step back, I wasn't sure why she'd do that." he said softly and she sighed. 'I have to tell him now, this way if Gordon leaves for a bit, he has his father still right now.' she thought as he looked at her gently as he said it smiling.

"What could be considered I just walked right into my possible biological father that day last month, we ran into each other, before you met us Coach." Charlie said and the man nodded gently. "And Lester with you right now, but if this is about what I told you last month a certain duo are in a lot of trouble. As you gave me your names and District number, I take it the jacket is your new team name?" he asked and Charlie nodded then.

"Yeah new name, we're the Ducks, to be determined on said captain of the team right now, but two blown games and immediately followed by a tie. Before these idiots caused a forfeit, but we forfeit a second time and the season's over. But unknown to these boneheads you were my ace up my sleeve right now. As they never expected me to walk right into the future coach of our team." he said and Casey chuckled at the remark.

"And duckling walks right into his father duck." she said and he smiled. "Yeah good first impression and watch it with the attachment here or you never want to let go. In this case, that's a big side effect with coaches like us right now in truth. And like I told Reilly we can do this better and even blindfolded, I'm a beginner right now. Ted's dealing with teenage attitutde day in and day out." Gordon said in response and she nodded gently.

"How are the quintet right now?" he asked and she smiled then. "They're good, they all got kids now, but his entire team is composed of himself, and the sextet. Jason had two, but Constance, she prefers the nickname Connie, Jesse and Terry, Lester, Gregory and Guy." she said and he nodded to her. "The Monroes, Halls, Avermans, Goldbergs and Tremaines, we've been friends, since we were no older older then you in truth, son."

"Your mother and I started dating when we were 14, so 7 years together, I just never knew this, part, if you're mine now. Then the little monsters that had a case of causing a mutiny right now, but this is not what they think. His remark, and of if you make it is, and becomes if you are to make it to the playoffs and Adam could be a very big help." he said sternly and Charlie nodded slowly as he answered him then quickly at the remark.

"So Peter lied to us, he did this, because the team was starting to follow me right now in truth, Coach never picked who was team leader, not yet. But we added 3 more and our current problem caused a strike on the team." Charlie said sternly and they both nodded gently at that. "So question would you consider that if you made that decision and I agree with you and Fulton with me as we're traitors, if it's not him, but you our fathers."

"As they're the traitors, you all decided on the same thing and no matter who of you made this decision and Fulton and I agree with you?" he said and he said it firmly. "That's what they think hmm, well these kids need a reality check right now, if there are girls. Now on this team, we need a top rate shooter in all truth, but if we make it now, to the play offs, is rephrased in our eyes as 'if we are to make it to the playoffs and Banks."

"Now, in truth now, he could be a big help.'." he said and Charlie crossed his arms, now hearing the rephrase for what it was then gently. "So it doesn't matter which of you came to this choice, the decision still stands right now?" he asked and Orion nodded gently. "Dead man walking here right now, I'm making that clear, if it was their fathers that came to that decision Fulton and I agree with them, will they still call us traitors."

"When we side with you, our parents right now, this is about you, our parents, and mentor right now in all truth." he said and several adults turned to them. "You got to be kidding, they called you a traitor for thinking about the safety of the girls?!" one patron in the diner said in shock. "Anyone else listening to this?" he asked they chuckled gently. "Wise guy and yes we are, baby." the diner matron said gently and he hid a smile then.

"Fulton and I lead the charge on our jerseys, we went against the whole team, but now they call us a traitor." he said and they both nodded sternly then. "The girls, you get hit hard enough they start too soon, but that spot, if ruptured can kill." The cop said sternly and he nodded. "So it wouldn't matter if any of you took the position, Fulton protects the girls, we focus on the scoring, we need Adam?" he said and they all nodded gently then.

"Every adult who has a girl thinks this that if these guys are getting too darn rough then the one who is the strongest of the team should protect them. And till we get him a counterpart enforcer it doesn't matter if it's Gordon, or just us. And as a total stranger, or just your own fathers, it doesn't matter here who the coach is, if they're like us. The decision is always the same, and they call you a traitor for siding with our thinking, ha."

"Young man, do you realize in who the hell you're talking too here?" a man dressed in a cop uniform said sternly at that remark and he nodded. "Not quite right now, in being strangers Hank, and great to see you again man." the man next to him said and she chuckled as he smiled as he shook his hand with a smile. "You too Ted, good to see you again right now." he said gently at that remark as Charlie explained it then gently to him.

"Uncle Hank, you had to arrest these idiots one too many times right now, you know what Peter is like, but though the tough guy right now..." he said and Jacobs and his partner nodded sternly. "Yeah he's close to juvenile hall, this brat has a real problem with adult authority and David Karp is following his lead." Jacobs said and the coach nodded. "That bad?" he asked sternly and he sighed. "Worse, Ted." he said with a sigh then firmly.

"This idiot has a real problem with authority, but you would think after getting his mental school bell rung he would see this was completely logical in the eyes. And of you guys as adults and with 2 girls on the team after taking that puck right to the head." he said and waitress next to his mother nodded. "Yeah no kidding, but if that never knocked some sense into him and nothing will." the man at the other end of the counter said sternly.

"These idiots really should have seen this coming, any gossip juicy enough that gets heard in here….." Charlie said and they all nodded. "And soon it's all over the district in 6 hours and all over town in the side of a week that the sole girl members never took their own safety. And into account and neither did their boyfriend and brother, when they rejected this decision. And Lester already had this discussion with me, like you did." the man said sternly and Gordon nodded.

"Oh great, so getting my reasoning, before you remembered you already had this discussion with your father, kiddo?" he asked and Charlie nodded. "Yeah remembering that and then I decided to view this from your point of view, but by telling you guys this soon. Averman's off the hook and Peter and Karp are a dead duck walking, you just gave me my out, dad." he said and the man nodded gently. "What parents are there for, cub." he said smiling and Casey chuckled.

"I'm your real father, and this is keeping you guys out of trouble permanently now finally, but until you're 15, I'm not leaving you guys alone for long. And I know the sextet are going to say the same thing here, but what 9 years does to you, but just say. In making adjustments to this, making said position till you start at the academy, my own now. And soon you guys conformed and this young, these two guys are shocked you're following me around like loyal ducklings."

"That they're refusing to conform right now, till they finally had enough as they see they can't force me to leave and instead they leave themselves now." he said and Gordon started laughing. "Said duck call whistle?" he asked and she started laughing as he nodded. "Yeah the kids know, once we get a translation for these things, are going to know I just announced my arrival. And they're ready, but 2 years of this, it's once they hear that, they're inner duckling responds."

"That they're still acting like ducklings with me as their future coach till the 8th grade and then start growing up now." he said and they nodded as Charlie was shaking in laughter. "With a baby sister, yeah I need to grow up, but the girls are my life, I get another sister my age. Followed by my meeting my soulmate at the academy, well then this resulted in these idiots. Now being in shock, I find you and change for the better, Averman with me." he said and the man nodded.

"And finding you this young, I want more then being viewed as a borderline Greaser, but Karen needs me, I stay right here." he said and Casey smiled gently. "That I understand, the baby sister is your entire world, but the girls are your world, your girlfriend your everything. And together, they make up your entire life by the time you reach high school now. But this is why having a positive male influence in your life is so important." he said and Charlie nodded then.

"These two idiots are stuck being ducklings, but if they saw Hook one too many times right now, that's them now, they don't want to grow up." he said and Coach Ted Orion nodded. "You're 14, it's time to grow up, with your sister now 9 years old, you're the role model now, that what you do, has them wanting to copy you. That trying to break health regulations, what your father and I set is going to have her want to try it next, so best give a good influence."

"And anyway I doubt Kimberly would want those two around Karen right now, that time to change now, before the rest of the team meets her." she said and Orion nodded in agreement. "And at 14 years old, it's time too now finally, but though a teenager, the most important person in your life, is your father in truth here. In your case, with my being your coach at that age, I took 3 positions in your life, but best friend, coach, father, I'm your mentor now in truth here."

"So everything you need in a mentor is me, so just say he leaves and I'm picking you up for practice with you having 2 more years left in the peewees. You're going to know I just showed up by the alternative call to my normal whistle now." he said and Casey started laughing. "And issues in this family that I know you just got off work, if you use that to alert me now. You just got home in total truth, so which is, break up letter or…." he started to say and she said it then.

"We got married right out of high school, spent 3 years together leading into our senior years of college, and I got pregnant at the same time. That the Stars chose him, realizing what this meant, the job paid well, but I didn't want him. Just to give up everything he worked for, Rick and I got married 8 years ago in truth now here. That you walking into him was the best thing for both of us, as he gets to see your next 10 and leading into adulthood right now in truth."

"As for said duck whistle, you start using that with them having 3 years as ducklings leading into the academy, or just prior and pass them to him, as they're going through the park. At least that's at school, but do that at the park we got every duck on the lake reporting in as well. Because they're going to think you're the alpha of their counter flock and decide to see what's up." she said and they both nodded smiling, at the remark as he answered her gently to that.

"Issues in the ducklings in that controlling my ducklings is a key catch with them this young and soon you got them following me like normal ducklings following their father ducks. Before the yellow gets exchanged for white, but the 9 years goes fast right now. So best enjoy our time together, before you leave for college while you got the chance in truth here. But though new coach in later years, I'm your mentor so no problem." he said and Charlie nodded as she smiled.

"Guys we lost another one, we got to get the kids off the street, so whatever you're planning, do it with the entire team." her brother's partner said sternly and they both nodded. "Practice 4 times a week, study session also 4, and practice games are every Friday between games." Orion said and Gordon nodded to his idea. "Agreed, this becomes habit for the 10 or 11, and before our next stint, to them, it's completely normal." Gordon said and she nodded in agreement.

Before she and the duo could answer they heard a loud clang and startled cat screech and he started laughing as he tried to say it then. "Fulton." Charlie said and she covered her eyes then. " I parked on the other side of the diner, so it must have ricocheted off the garbage can. Said cat was going after some stray pieces of steak and the shot startled him or her right now." His father said and everyone listening started laughing at this as the cook said it for all of them.

"Fulton seriously, you keep that up, the next shots going to break the window in here, watch where you're aiming son, come on!" The cook said laughing and Gordon nodded as the officer went to check and then came back in. "The ricochet hit the newspaper vending machine Jim, Rick." he called out and they nodded as Casey hid a smile. "He's not here, so that must have been the next block over here, Gordon." she said and he nodded as the trio of workers smiled.

"Where's that kid shooting from exactly, that's going 70mph." the construction worker said and he nodded. "He's two blocks over, but doing it from the alley, but it bounced off something, and ended up over here right now, Daniel!" Casey's brother said with a chuckle and he nodded. "We all know the dangers of his shot, but whoever is pulling in, do it slow after the shot. The last shot hit my side of the car right now, as for Karp and your remarks on defense now, Ted."

"I can't believe he did that right now, young man are you trying to put yourself in the hospital for brain damage." Gordon said sternly at that remark. "He took that puck right to the head and then collapsed, but the area hit just happened now. To be right at the forehead Ted, but Peter made another smart alec response and I told him to knock it off." he said and Orion nodded sternly to the news as Charlie nodded sternly then to that.

"Paraphrased here as 'shut up Peter'." he said and Gordon nodded. "Well we were making progress, before they dropped the bomb, here on this in truth now. But you just told me of said blown shot here right now." he said and Gordon nodded. "Never lost a season in 19 years, and I'm taking him down several pegs for once. So we win this season, and they get put in 2nd place several more times, before the 8th grade right now."

"In addition to our next gig, and that's your ticket into the academy, as in the words of our future goalie. If Jackson never made JV slot and you guys did, then he probably wasn't good enough, if we beat them 3 times. That's 3 times in 4 years as you enter junior high level to high school, state champs, please. Try being global champs, we're good, but with your father's training right now, you're beyond good right now,"

"To answer that is Jackson is Jackson Riley, he's a winger." he said and Orion nodded getly to the news then. "And with that, it's all work and not a chance to take his mind off his own pain here, so with that, uh dad, is Jared Banks one of your players, dad?" he asked and he nodded gently. "Well they're emotionally in pain, Jared told me he's trying to hold it together, Adam's feeling the same, but if they can't see this right now."

"He's not a bad guy, he's trying to bury his pain by acting like a hotshot right now, but if these idiots are not looking at this like this now. Then their arrogance from that tie game went right to their heads, along with the concussion. I was thinking this over till I looked at this from your point of view and told them there could be more. But after I suggested that blow to the head damaged his thinking, that did it." he said and the duo nodded.

"He blocked the shot with his head?!" the cop said sternly and he nodded. "Yeah he did and after seeing Fulton's shot you would think, if they try to sue us for a whiplash. These idiots in the Hawks would have the common sense to get out of the way. Before they get knocked in there with the puck here." he said and he nodded. "After 20 broken windows in 6 weeks, yeah I agree with that right now." he said and everyone started laughing.

"Just wait till our new piece sees this in action after it bounces off the trashcan, over the fence and hits the windshield next." Gordon said with a chuckle and they nodded smiling. "Well after a direct demonstration of the dangers of being in the line of fire, you'd think they'd have the common sense to get out of the way here. As for this, getting in your heads, I realized why you need to come to this, but after trying to explain this."

"The insult here of with us or against us, but I would never openly defy you guys right now, especially if you're more to me then I think here. To put this bluntly it's the argument that Crusher had with Locarno, but I just jumped his move. Before these idiots get us in trouble and put in detention right now for a fight in class. But that sweater, you're a high school teacher, there's my out now in this." he said and he smiled sternly.

"Yeah I just got out of practice right now with Bank's team at the current moment, and came here in time to hear the conversation. Your mother's been working here for 15 years right now, but Fridays and Saturdays off in truth. But with my possibly becoming your new coach, in addition to your father, I can drop in. And touch bases with your mother starting now in all truth." he said and Charlie nodded as she answered that then.

"You just gave me my out on this dad, in truth, what's your age level?" he said and he smiled. "That's just out of peewees to 16." he said and Charlie smiled in delight at that. "Perfect, Coach just started, you're a real one, you know what to do, so you make it clear in our directive here, they're never going to see this. As it doesn't matter, could be you, could be coach or their fathers, it's over." he said and the matron started laughing then.

"Yes it could me, the guys or Gordon, they are never going to win this argument, you were being a true captain, and siding with us, your mentor. We're your mentor, coach, and surrogate father, in my case, your real, but this is like giving us the finger. Alright so let me get this straight, if you side with us, you and Reed are traitors?" he said and Charlie nodded as Casey crossed her arms sternly as she answered that remark then.

"You got to be kidding, they're calling you a traitor, because you sided with our way of thinking, Connie and Tammy, if they get hit hard enough. That could start it too soon if they get hit in the uterus!" Casey snapped and he nodded. "Yeah I know that, but the girls never thought of that part, these idiots in the hawks don't see them as girls. But like us now, in trying to explain this he called me a traitor." he said and she nodded sternly.

"What caused it baby?" Casey asked and he explained that. "He was eavesdropping on a conversation between Coach and Reilly, I was going on a guess. But there had to be a reason for this option he made this choice, but if you're in your first year. And of coaching yourself, but Reilly is Jack Reilly, if you're also a Hawk?" he asked and Orion nodded gently. "So what if we are, nothing wrong with us." he said and Charlie nodded gently.

"Ted, I was late and double checked, he's your's, the paternity test came back positive after a trip to the hospital, he's your's, baby. Rick is his adoptive father now in truth, but he, Charlie, is your son, honey." she said and he nodded as he felt his heart make a painful thump at that. 'She didn't want me to give up my shot, after all that time right now, she was scared to tell me, afraid I wouldn't want to raise my son, it's okay Casey.'

'I understand, I'm not angry, I never was, I was hurt you'd leave me, but I want this, I want it so much.' he thought as he said it then. "Late, this was about my shot, I just got picked and you didn't want to let me give it up. You had to make sure right now, honey, sweetie, I gave it up last year after my daughter was hurt?" he asked and she nodded. "The guys leave next year." Gordon said and he nodded with a sigh of relief then gently.

"These kids have no clue whatever changes you do, makes you who you are right now, but thinking I have only one and instead I learn I have a son now, yeah. Then I'm glad I quit, I get these next 8 to 9 years with him and he and his sister meet now. They got each other, but if these two think what you would have said to me. Then it's they're being put on OSS till they stop acting like a 5 year old." he said to him gently and he nodded.

"So if I got this right you and mom took a step back, after you got your shot right now, and remained in contact, since then. It's not till now that we both find out I was that reason, well with our relationship, if you're his best friend..." he said and she shook her head then smiling. "Family friend, borderline godfather, yeah I got that son." he said with a chuckle and the man nodded smiling gently at that remark then as he went further.
