2022 Longbourn`
"Son, now, we can talk. We have one more in here, your father." The woman who claimed to be Thomas' mother said. Standing by the door, a tall man stood. His long hair went down his back, not one color but many. He might not be human, they all thought. Georgiana thought he looked like a Nordic god in a film. His clothes were odd enough. He wore a cloak made out of an unknown light material and had thick bracelets. He walked to Thomas and held him.
"My Tomas, it has been so very long, and now we might be able to make it right. We have never been this close, But I must not stay visible because it is dangerous. First, we must find the enemy now that we are so near. Our beautiful children, Jaana, Maria, Margrét, Geør, Katarina, Rikard, and Geira, your parents miss you, but where is the little Líknví? And Báreker? We will need everyone together to bring Lisabe and Vilhelm. I will be watching, but I must leave." He just vanished.
They were speechless, yet somehow they knew it was true. "What parents?" Jane asked.
"Why did he call us such names?" Richard wanted to know.
"What is happening?" Thomas asked
"And why is George still out?" Georgiana asked.
"I cannot tell you everything because we don't know ourselves. Once, long ago, by mortal years, we often came to this world. Some of us pretended to be gods of those called the Vikings. You heard their names, Odin, Loki, and others. It was entertaining. We like the cold lands and the people who looked a lot like us when we are solid. There were differences we could easily modify; mostly, we liked to play games, and they were entertaining. I guess you like to play virtual games, and we like them real. And in all honesty, the Vikings were warriors and adventurers." She didn't apologize for liking war.
"We are nearly immortal, but we can get killed. Although we do not always get along, there is something we all treasure and respect, our children. We only have a few, not everyone is lucky, but nobody knows why." She stopped and looked at Thomas.
"By our years, you are still a child. Because you have a partly human body, you look older than you are. In reality, you are around their ages." She pointed at Georgiana and Mariah. "Or a few more cycles, I mean a few years older. To come, we used portals made long ago. Thru those openings, we can see what happens here most of the time. I will explain briefly that we leave part of who we are there so we can return to our worlds, and the travel has to be spaced out. We are not always like this. We can be what you call energy. In theory, we can come and go forward and backward in time, but not to a future beyond real-time. I cannot go to tomorrow, but I can go back to yesterday. It is complex and takes years of rigorous training.
Moreover, it can be dangerous. Before you ask, we cannot go to the time you crossed. It is blocked." She stopped and stood to put her hand over Thomas.
"Tomas, Inga is my cousin, and had not seen you since you were young. She was gone for a while, and Lisabe grew up with you and later with her sister, not Inga's daughter. It is complicated, not germane to this. Since she is Lisabe's mother, we figured she needed to be her mother here as well. Everyone has to be related in subsequent lives; maybe not the same relation, but they must stay close. The same way we figured out I needed to be your mother here as well. It has taken us a while since whoever is behind your disappearance wants you gone forever. She met you in the time where the ones you call Elizabeth and William are now, and she also met you here, of course." She saw everyone was attentive.
Jane and Mary figured that the other woman was Elizabeth's mother. Jane and Mary were happy since they had learned much about their mother. Jane had asked around and found out her mother hadn't changed; she always had lovers. Crazy, considering all their friends had crushes on their father.
"What is happening? In simple terms, one day, we found several of you gone. Unwisely, you divided yourselves, as you were probably told you could. I imagine you did it to have more experience and left nothing of yourselves behind. We don't know who gave you access to the portals, but, clearly, it was intentional." She looked away, sad.
"Imagine our horror to find several of our children gone, lost. Inga blamed all of us when she was back. Luckily, we were able to determine what portal you used. One of you, I think Rikard, left a marker. We are lucky he is always thinking ahead. Geor was always in trouble and likes Lisabe, but she is promised to Vilhelm. Geor is an orphan; his parents died tragically, and his parents' best friends raised him. I believe that someone uses Geor's feelings for Lisabe. You will learn more later." Ilsa, Thomas' mother, explained.
"The names, you mean George, right?" Richard asked."
"Yes," Ilsa, Thomas' mother, answered. "Your names have changed, some, but yes. Back to you all, because you lacked knowledge on how to regenerate since you never came back, your bodies 'died.' Fortunately, we were able to keep all near each other, having you born again and again. It hasn't been easy. But we were only able to get you in the same bodies a few times, like in the occurrence 200 years ago when everyone had the same bodies and now." She looked at everyone, looking happy to be with them.
"We had to do a lot of planning. Understand in our time. Only a few years have passed. We only scan lifetimes, it is complex, and we only see pieces. We learned that if the first that crossed, Lisabe and Vilhelm, can be united in the earlier time, we can bring them forward across the portal while she carries a new-life, and a few more conditions, then you will be one again. Even the ones of you that died in this time and 200 years ago."
"You said it happened before. Who died? Why didn't it work?" Richard asked.
"Because, in the other times, only one of them, Lisabe or Vilhelm, was born in the same body. In this time and 200 years ago, both Lisabe and Vilhelm, along with several of you who look exactly the same. There have been a lot of failures, mostly because their bodies were murdered. But this time, we have almost everyone. Someone killed Vilhelm and Lisabe's bodies in 1812, but we were ready to stop another tragedy because whoever failed when tried to kill them at this time as well. Both by explosions to make sure there was nothing we could do. We made sure it didn't happen, and now the two are one again. The first time ever." Ilsa explained.
"That is why there was nothing left of William. I see," Richard observed.
"Or of Lizzie, so there is hope," Jane said, smiling. Richard stared at her. She was for him, he was certain.
"It is good we have someone who offered to help since her husband was murdered while trying to bring you back. He figured out how to do but wasn't able to let us know all he found. She will be here soon." Ilsa added.
"I knew my William wasn't gone. I told everyone here." Lady Catherine looked around.
"We could have made it have happened without killing either of them, now or 200 years ago, but I will explain later. Whoever is behind it knows many of our plans. Whoever is the enemy was there 200 years ago and also here. Hence, I believe the enemy is one of us, always one step behind us. Hard to believe since children are sacred to everyone. As to why Geor is out, I don't know. I suspect that it is intentional to stop us. Katarina shows us your wrist." Ilsa, Thomas' mother, asked.
Upstairs, Fanny smiled at the last guest, who had just arrived. "I am so sorry. I heard about Elizabeth. I tried to get here earlier. I also heard her body wasn't found. How dreadful. Any news?"
1812. Old Lovers
Thomas wanted to ask how to keep his Lizzie here. Jane said goodnight, and he went to his mother's room. He knocked and went in. Thomas's mother stood up to hug him. "If you had come with me, it would have been easier. Your wife has made it difficult. Sorry, she hurt you. She is a thoughtless, selfish woman. I believe someone set her on your way, as in the next time."
"Who sent her?" Thomas wanted to know.
"Whoever is behind this. But I cannot say more until George is here. You will need to accept this. I made sure a couple more will arrive." His mother said.
"Mother, I will wait. But I read much of what you sent me, talking about couples like Lizzie and her husband. I know she is changed, but she is special to me. I don't want to lose her. I want to know what I can do." Thomas needed to know.
"You must wait. We are waiting for messages. And I think we are not in, never mind. Be patient." His mother sounded regretful. "Be patient, my son. Lizzie is special to you, I know. We will explain. Remember what I said when you asked why I married your father? I said because it was necessary; it was. Please rest. We will talk tomorrow. William has a room where we can all talk when his guests are gone. We will make ourselves scarce, is best." She kissed his cheeks, her eyes burning with love.
Thomas was unhappy, not knowing what to do, but he would wait. He went into his room and readied for bed. He was undressing when he heard the door opening, then closing. He turned around. Inga stood there with the clothes he had seen her long ago. Not saying anything, he went to her. He held her tightly, letting her feel his aroused body. It had been so since the instant he saw her. Since Fanny's betrayal, before Lydia was born, he had not felt desire. Only when he dreamed about Inga, sometimes in a strange Longbourn. He moaned softly, feeling her breasts against his bare torso. Desire ran thru him like a wild river.
"You should know I am an elder, much, much older than you." Inga looked straight at him. She was a tall woman. He would guess maybe a few inches shorter than him, and he was taller than many he knew. In Cambridge, they called him the Viking since he towered over everyone.
He grinned, "I guess I like older women." He said, kissing the tip of her nose. Laughing at her silliness, thinking she was but a couple of years older than him.
"I guess I like young fledglings. Maybe, I am not better than my dead partner, with his, never mind, enough talking," she said, pressing against him, wrapping a leg around his.
They kissed while they undressed each other with urgency. "I never stopped thinking about you," Thomas told her.
"Same here, always, since the first time. You will soon know. I am glad I met you; the woman you married is a blind fool, but she made it possible. I felt your sadness and knew it was the right time." She answered as they fell on his bed. "My beautiful Tomas, my lover, my…." She didn't finish because he quieted her with his kiss.
Lizzie and Darcy
She woke up early in the morning. William was awake, looking at her. "I remember you by the ocean. I am remembering. You are beautiful, my Lizzie." He kissed her shoulder.
"You were there, but?" Lizzie asked.
"But, I am here. I feel like two people, though I cannot explain it. But either way, I love you. I want to kiss you, and you said I could." He waited.
"So, kiss me." She moved next to him. They could talk later. She wanted him, now.
"My Lizzie, my love." He kissed her lips softly. Letting his hand move up her thigh. "Touch me." His lips moved around her face.
"Take your trousers off." Lizzie moved to take her gown off. He bent his head to kiss her breasts, to suck her nipples, while pulling his trousers down. Her hand caressed his back, moving down his stomach, wrapping her fingers around his arousal as he moved a hand between her legs. Both moaned softly, trying to be quiet with so many guests in the house.
"Lizzie, do you want me? I do so." He asked, his breath shuddering, moving along with her hand.
"Yes, I do, now, before someone comes in." She moved over him so he didn't ask anything else. "My Lizzie. You do want me like this?"
"Yes." She answered. He almost asked if she had learned with George, but he didn't care. Why should he? She was his, he had warned George to change, and he didn't. He also remembered that.
"You do it," William whispered. When she started moving over him, he cried, feeling her desire. It felt so perfect. It was the first time. He was finally with his beloved."I love you, love you." He moved up to kiss her lips, holding and caressing her breasts.
They moved together. He had never felt like this. He was with the one he loved forever. Lizzie worried for a second. No protection, who cared? "Lizzie," he cried, feeling her climaxing, holding him so tight. He held her bum. He was kissing her wherever he could, not wanting it to end. "My love," William repeated over and over.
They didn't hear the ugly screeches outside. Neither did they see everything changing around. Biscuit stood by the windows, ready to attack, not looking like a dog, not at all. Let the monsters come. They stood no chance with him around.
Afterward, they kissed lazily as he moved, still inside her, ready for more. Maybe not; someone was knocking. "Shh," he whispered, "we are sleeping."
Lizzie grinned, looking at him. George was super hot but nothing like William. "William, Aunt Catherine just arrived. She stayed an hour away. She said she came as quick as she could." Richard was at the door.
"Wait, I am half asleep. What is she talking about?" William was annoyed. The Bingley, Aunt Catherine, George, who else?
Lizzie giggled softly, "Half asleep?"
"Maybe? Too bad, I guess we must get up. But can we pick up from here later on? I still haven't kissed you as I wished." William kissed her neck.
"You are right. Neither have I." Lizzie moved away and sighed. She wanted to tell him. It had never felt so intense. Strange, but she loved him as to why, she couldn't figure it out. She still loved George, but it no longer hurt.
They could hear the house servants moving around, when Lizzie was going to make a comment of how early it was, both looked at Biscuit barking, then shaking a rodent. They heard a scream and the rodent vanished.
"Did you see that?" Lizzie asked.
"My aunt, no, not the one now, taught us much. You need to come with me later. I will show you a secret room, and other things. Good boy." He stood and went to Biscuit to pet it and noticed the dog's bloody muzzle, except the blood was not quite red.
