As you can gather by now I only own the plot everything else belongs to Hasbro. Now that we got that out of the way here is Chapter One of Getting Under Her Armor. I hope you enjoy.
Chapter One: Off Guard.
There were a lot of things Arcee never expected during her time on Earth. Hell, there were a lot of things Arcee never expected before she came to Earth. Meeting Jack and the others just happened to be one of those many things. And a meeting she never regretted, at least for most of the time. But this... this was certainly not something she would have ever expected.
And that thing was finding herself pinned against the wall outside the Autobot base by none other than Wheeljack. The white wreckers lips pressed firmly against her own. While his optics remained shut her own were open wide. She remained still, time seeming to slow to a stop until-
"Whoa! Sorry!" Bulkhead's all too familiar voice startled the two, causing Wheeljack to pull away from her to look at him while Arcee looked to Wheeljack.
Her optic ridge furrowing, her face plate feeling hot. And just what did he think he was doing? She thought, as Wheeljack talked with Bulkhead. That same mischievous smirk on his scarred lip plates. Oh, Arcee thought, realization hitting her, anger swelling in her chest plate. He was messing with her, trying to get a rise out of her much like he would with Ratchet or Ultra Magnus.
Obviously now she was his next target for one reason or another. Scowling Arcee pushed herself off the wall, and shouldered past Wheeljack as he continued to converse with Bulkhead. Casting one final glance as she moved past Bulkhead, finally meeting Wheeljack's gaze before turning away and disappearing into the base. Feeling Wheeljack's optics on her. Gritting her denta she did her very best to ignore him as she went about finding Jack. Perhaps she could convince him to go for a ride, so she could take her mind off of what had just occurred...
"You just love messing with 'Bots, don't you?" Bulkhead groaned, as he watched as Arcee disappeared into the base. Before turning his gaze to Wheeljack, giving him a look.
Wheeljack could only shrug his shoulders as he smiled up at his friend. "What can I say?" He said, "things around here have been rather tense. I'm just trying to lighten the mood, as for what you just stumbled across well..." he trailed off, moving to walk past Bulkhead and into the base. The larger mech following close behind. "She always seems to tense, even after our little tussle with some Vehicons we had stumbled across during our scouting mission." Wheeljack explained. "Nothing to it." His smile disappeared when he noticed the frown on Bulkhead's face plate.
"What?" Wheeljack asked, turning fully to his long-time friend.
"Look, Wheeljack you... you can't really mess with 'Cee like that." Bulkhead told him, turning his optics to where Arcee was conversing with Jack. Watching as the femme transformed, allowing the teen to climb on before silently driving away.
Leaving the two of them in her dust. Wheeljack's gaze remained glued on the retreating form of Arcee, before turning his questioning gaze to Bulkhead.
Realizing that he had said too much Bulkhead rubbed the back of his helm, looking sheepish. "L-look just forget I said anything. J-just leave Arcee alone, okay?" Bulkhead said, before turning away.
Now Wheeljack was even more confused as he watched Bulkhead disappear down one of the halls. The question on his mind was, why? What did Bulkhead want to protect when it came to Arcee? Shaking his helm Wheeljack walked off. He didn't know what was going on, but in all honesty he was dying to find out, after all, Wheeljack couldn't put his finger on it but there was just something about Arcee that drew him to her...
Authors Notes- Yeah, I know this was rather short. But I hope you liked it, I know it wasn't the greatest first chapter but I assure you things will get interesting as time goes on. None the less this is Blackjack signing off.
