We see a younger LeBron James with his mother.
"My shift is not over until nine." She said. "Tell Coach C that I'm gonna be late picking you up, okay?"
The young LeBron exchanged a handshake and hug before LeBron went into the building. The location is Akron, Ohio in 1998. Young LeBron was dribbling a basketball while sitting on a bench next to his Tiny Toon Adventures backpack.
"Hey Bron." Greeted Malik, LeBron's friend.
"Hey Malik." Greeted LeBron, Malik's friend.
Malik handed LeBron a Gameboy after sitting next to him on the bench.
"This is for you." He said. "My dad got me the coloured one. If it freezes up on you, just smack it really hard. It works every time."
LeBron started playing on the Gameboy. The game was Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break. He was enjoying the game so much that he didn't notice his coach calling for him. Coach C came and snatched the Gameboy from LeBron's hands.
"What are you doing?!" Coach C exclaimed. "Get onto court right now!"
During the game, there was a short amount of seconds left and LeBron's team was one point down. LeBron took a shot and unfortunately missed, much to the dismay of Coach C.
"I'm not even disappointed that we lost tonight." Coach C told LeBron later that evening. "Playing Basketball is about giving it all you've got, and you didn't do that! You were just letting yourself get distracted by these distractions! Get your head in the game!"
Coach C handed LeBron his Gameboy before walking off. And LeBron, keeping the words of Coach C in his head, decided to throw his Gameboy into a bin as it showed the menu of Babs' Big Break.
We then see a montage of LeBron's rise to become a top-class Basketball star. Labelled as "King James" and has become a close second to Michael Jordan in terms of Basketball superstar. After we see his uprising, we now cut to the LeBron residence. We see a Basketball court where LeBron's son, Darius was practising Basketball while LeBron's other son, Dominic was playing the video game he created.
"You almost ready to tell Dad about the E3 Game Designer camp next weekend?" Darius asked.
"I'm waiting for the right moment." Dom replied.
"I think you should rip the band-aid off and ask him now." Darius suggested.
"You really think he'll agree to it?" Dom asked. "I mean, only you would give that suggestion since he agrees to everything you say. Would it have anything to do with you being more into Basketball than I am?"
"Absolutely." Darius replied. "Come see if you've got potential on the court."
Dom went up and tried to preform a spinning dunk into the hoop, only for the ball to bounce off the hoop.
"Dom!" LeBron's voice came as he approached. "What was that?"
"Just having a bit of fun, dad." Dom replied.
"Where's your fundamentals?" LeBron asked. "Inside these four lines is all about work, not fun. Fundamentals win championships."
LeBron happened to glance at the bench and saw Dom's video game.
"Dom, I told you not to bring this to the court." He scolded. "You need to be focusing more on the games instead of these toys."
Behind King James was Darius mouthing his words.
"Darius, chill out." LeBron scolded. "You know I've got full court vision."
LeBron got a ball and asked Dominic to preform a certain move.
"In-and-out, crossover, step-back, shoot." LeBron instructed.
Dom tried to preform the movie, but dropped it before he could do the step-back.
"Come on Dom. I need you to focus." LeBron informed.
He gave a ball to Darius, who managed to preform the step-back move.
"Your brother's been putting in work." LeBron said to Dom.
"I ball all day." Darius smiled.
The moment after he said that, a Basketball was launched and hit Darius in the face.
"Dom, focus!" LeBron scolded, as Dom laughed. "You've got basketball camp next weekend."
Hearing LeBron mentioned basketball camp put Dom into a bad mood as he dropped the ball and started to walk off the court.
"Oh, we quitting on each other now?" LeBron asked. "Can't be great without putting in work."
Dom stopped, sighed, and walked back.
"That's my guy." LeBron proudly said. "Let's get some work done."
"Boys!" Came the voice of LeBron's wife, Kamiyah. "Ya'll can't stay out here all day. Dinner's ready."
"What are we having?" Dom asked. "Spaghetti and Meatball?"
Another basketball was launched and hit Darius in the face.
"Ooh, that's my favourite!" LeBron said.
Later, we cut to the Warner Brother's headquarters where we dive into the computer world of it known as the Serververse. Inside, we see an algorithm named Al G Rhythm, who is viewing LeBron's rise as a basketball superstar.
"I've been searching far and wide for a perfect partner for this project." He said to his assistant, Pete. "The perfect partner for Warner 3000. He's a basketball superstar and family man, but soon when he hears this offer, he's gonna be a star at Warner Brothers. King James, get ready."
He sent an email to LeBron's computer where Kamiyah saw it pop up. She let LeBron know of it before he went to talk to Dom, who was doing more work on his game, Dom Ball. He was using his phone to scan certain things into the game such as a spider and figures. Oh, and he has a tambourine. He was looking at an ad for an E3 video game designer camp, but when he found out that LeBron was coming into his room, he was quick to close the ad.
"Hey son." LeBron greeted. "What are you up to?"
"Just doing progress on my game." Dom answered.
LeBron sat next to Dom so he could get a look at his game, Dom Ball. He was amazed by the people turning into his livestream and character designs. When Dom had his character do a dunk, the opponent was posturized.
"Posturized?" LeBron asked. "This isn't real basketball?"
"I put a little spin to it." Dom explained. "It's like basketball, but better."
Dom even explained to LeBron that he put LeBron's step-back move into his game and had his character preform the move to demonstrate. However, in a shocking turn of events, after Dom's character preformed the step-back move, it started glitching like crazy. Dom tried to fix it before his character would be erased.
"No, no, no." Dom said. "Don't erase my char-"
Dom's words were in vain, as not only did the game crash, but his character was deleted as a result.
"My entire character is gone." Dom sighed. "It's gonna take me at least a week to rebuild this."
"Hey, everyone makes mistakes." LeBron replied. "Tell you what. I've been invited to the Warner Brothers headquarters tomorrow. You can come with."
"So I can meet the characters from Tiny Toons?" Dom chuckled. "With their upcoming reboot coming, anything is possible, even Buster and Babs being siblings."
"Oh snap." LeBron chuckled. "Did you just have some dope fourth wall awareness?"
"Please don't, dad." Dom replied.
"What did you say?" LeBron asked with a smile. "Please dad dab?"
LeBron dabbed before leaving the room.
The next morning, LeBron, Dom, and Malik were at the Warner Brothers headquarters where they were being shown a presentation that Al G made.
"Welcome, King James." The Al G in the video greeted. "I am Al G Rhythm. As you can guess, I am an algorithm here at Warner Brothers, the masterminds behind loads of classics as Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Looney Tunes, just to name a few. We wanted to tell you about our greatest creation yet, Warner 3000. We want you to be on our team, King James. Now, we know you're busy, but don't worry, our technology will scan you right into the movies. Think about it. Batman VS LeBron, LeBron of Thrones, LeBron and the Chamber of Secrets, How LeBron Spent His Vacation, LeBron's Wish. The possibilities are endless. You'll be the King of Warner Brothers. That's the power of Warner 3000. Say yes, LeBron, and together, we'll make mind-blowing entertainment forever."
"Well?" A worker asked when the presentation ended. "What do you say?"
"He's speechless." Another worker said, with a smile. "That algorithm came up with the entire presentation."
"Listen, guys." LeBron finally said. "I'm a ballplayer. Basketball is a top priority for me. Athletes and acting just doesn't go well together at all. I can't afford to take time away from the game."
What nobody realised is that Al G was watching the entire thing from inside the Serververse.
"LeBron, let's not be too hasty here." Malik informed. "Could you imagine playing Basketball with the Tiny Toons characters? With their reboot coming, it'll be a sure fire."
"That idea sounds completely ludicrous." LeBron replied. "And that algorithm is busted."
"I'm rather interested in it." Dom spoke out. "Is it some kind of heuristic algorithm or some kind of matrix variant?"
"We've got a little Stevie Jobs around." A worker laughed.
"Yeah, and did you hear about the E3 Game Designer camp?" Dom asked. "There's one next weekend and I'm going. There's gonna be other coders there and I'm looking forward-"
"Whoa, Dom." LeBron interrupted. "No, you can't go to that. Basketball camp is next weekend."
"I'm not going to basketball camp." Dom replied.
"You don't have to be scared, Dom." LeBron informed. "You've got amazing potential on the court, and I can help you get there."
"It's not what I want, dad." Dom replied, getting up from his seat and walking out of the room.
"Dom!" LeBron called, getting up and going after Dom.
"So, was that a hard no?" A worker asked.
"We may be in touch." Malik replied.
Meanwhile, Al G, having heard everything LeBron said, was left outraged.
"Who does this guy think he is?!" Al G snapped. "Rejecting me?! Humiliating me?! I tried to be nice, I tried to be a team player, but those days are over."
Dom was walking down a hall at the WB headquarters while LeBron was walking after him.
"Dom!" LeBron called. "I'm your father. When I say stop, you stop."
"Right this way, King James." Al G snickered as Dom walked into the elevator with LeBron going after him.
"Dom, do not get in that elevator!" LeBron called. "Come on, Dom!"
LeBron went into the elevator with Dom.
"I'm not gonna let you back out of camp like that." LeBron informed. "You made a commitment."
"You make me hate basketball." Dom informed.
"You don't mean that." LeBron said, in a reasonable voice.
"I do." Dom coldly replied. "You never let me do what I want to do. You never let me just do me."
The elevator doors opened and Dom walked out.
"Do me?" LeBron called. "You think I got to do me when I was 12?"
He saw that the floor read "Al G".
"Hold on, Dom!" LeBron called. "Wrong floor!"
Dom discovered that the area he was in was filled with Warner Brother computer stuff after he was allowed entrance.
"Dom, stop playing man!" LeBron called. "You know your mama don't like it when I don't have you home for dinner on time! All this computer stuff is your thing, not mine!"
While he was looking for Dom, LeBron saw him disappearing in a bright flash. He ran over to the spot where he was and a bright light started slowly appearing.
"What in the matrix hell?" LeBron asked.
Suddenly, LeBron disappeared in another bright flash.
See ya in the Serververse, Toonsters.
