Opening her eyes, the Digidestined of Light, Kari Kamiya, smiled lovingly as she lay in her bed, her sheet the only thing covering her naked body as she looked upon the love of her life, Davis Motomiya, who was hovering just over her and looking upon the brunette with a growing desire.
Allowing her eyes to wander along and to take in Davis' appearance, Kari admired the pair of deep blue boxers her beloved only wore, revealing his muscular tanned chest and covering his evident erection.
Keeping his chocolate brown eyes upon Kari, a sly smile graced his face, which sent shivers down Kari's back in anticipation.
Leaning down, the maroon haired Digidestined gave Kari a passionate kiss, the feel of Davis' lips upon her own causing the brunette to moan deeply and with a further lust.
Amazing as it felt for Davis to kiss her, the pleasure Kari felt only furthered as her lover broke from their make out session and proceeded on down her body.
Trailing his kisses further down along her body as he peeled her sheet from off her body, revealing her bare breasts and now running his lips and tongue closely along her breasts, the actions left Kari as a moaning wreck.
Reacting to her moaning and furthering her excitement, Davis slid his right hand down, rubbing around her exposed and increasingly wet pussy.
His fingers rubbing around her slit, Davis then sat up and looked upon Kari and asked her with a husky whisper. "Are you ready for it, my beautiful angel?"
"Yes, Davis, yes!" Kari moaned erotically in reply with desire as she allowed herself to sink further into the moment between her and the maroon haired Digidestined.
Receiving a quick but passionate kiss from Davis in reply, Kari's eyes roamed down, to see Davis' slowly trail his hands down to his boxers.
Excitement consuming the brunette even further as Davis slowly began to pull his boxers down, the Digidestined of Light grew wet and excited as she was about to take in the sight of her lover naked and his erect manhood.
However...
.
.
.
Beep, Beep, Beep...
"Damn it!" Kari all but screamed as she awoke and shot up from out of bed.
Slamming her hand down and nearly crushing her alarm clock to shut it off, the nineteen year old brunette felt flustered and annoyed as the memories of her wet dream remained still fresh in her mind.
"Not again..." Kari groaned as she tried to calm herself down.
Remaining flustered, hot and aroused from the dream, Kari was more annoyed that it ended before the good part could happen.
The Digidestined of Light was used to this, however, as the same kind of dreams had been plaguing her for over a year now.
Though many years had passed since MaloMyotismon had been vanquished for good, over one year ago, the Digidestined found themselves battling another dark threat, one unlike any they had faced before when a dimensional devouring Digimon known as Abaddonmon breached the Digital World in order to consume everything the heroes held dear and close to their hearts.
And yet, much to the Digidestined's surprise, gateways to other world, other Digital worlds were opened as well as the group received memories that were taken from them, memories of a battle they fought against another dimensional threat, Quartzmon, before the Digidestined were reunited with the Tamers, Legendary Warriors, DATS Squad and the Fusion Fighters, the groups of Digi-heroes uniting once again in their battle against the great evil.
They were even joined by new friends, ones from another reality that did not have Digimon, but another form of Digital Life known as Appmon, where the united team of Haru, Eri, Astora, Rei, Yuijin and their partners joined the Digi-heroes in order to stop the devouring threat to their worlds.
During their conflict, Kari herself came into danger when Abaddonmon targeted her and unleashed a devastating blast that would have erased the brunette from existence.
However, like a knight in shining armour, Kari found herself grabbed by Davis as the maroon haired Digidestined saved her, moving both of them out of the way of Abaddonmon's attack and saving Kari's life in the process.
Looking upon her maroon haired friend, Kari saw Davis in a new light, and found herself falling deeply in love with the Digidestined of Miracles.
Not long after, the combined might of the Digi-heroes and Appli Drivers defeated Abaddonmon, only to find the gateways to each of their worlds now permanently opened, causing the groups to decide to work together from that day forward, as teammates and as friends, to protect their worlds from any and all threats that dared oppose it.
Sliding herself out of her bed and returning to reality, Kari relieved herself of her sleep wear, discarding her nightgown as she entered her bathroom.
Turning the shower and stepping within, Kari sighed deeply, trying to calm her body and to cool off.
But finding the memories of her dream still vivid in her mind and refusing to fade from her mind anytime soon, Kari closed her eyes and relaxed her body, not only allowing the water to cascade down her naked form, but for her hand to slide itself down her body and to arrive at her pussy, lightly fingering herself as she envisioned her crush.
Thinking of her dream man, Kari thought of Davis' smile and how he had matured over the years, thinking how handsome he had become, but managed to retain that familiar charm which continued to bring a smile to her face and warm her heart.
Likewise, Kari couldn't help but find Davis' physical changes also appealing, the maroon haired Digidestined now muscular and fit from his time in the Digital World and playing soccer, leaving him a dreamboat not only to the burnette, but to most of the girls within high school, even Kari's fellow cheerleaders.
Biting her lower lip as her mind drifted deeper into its erotic state, the brunette felt her release hit her.
Lightly moaning Davis' name as she came, the water washing away her sexual fluids, Kari's mood changed as her smile turned into a small frown.
As Kari thought on how amazing and perfect Davis now was in her eyes, the brunette also realized that Davis had not asked her out since MaloMyotismon's defeat, and, even with her getting closer to him over the past year, the maroon haired Digidestined seemed to view her only as a friend, much to her personal agony.
It seemed to Kari that Karma had finally come back to bite her.
As she had fallen in love with Davis, he now only viewed her as a friend.
Finally stepping out of the shower, her body dripping wet, Kari took a towel and started to dry herself off, before the brunette looked at herself in her bathroom mirror, looking her own body over and wondered if Davis even found her attractive anymore.
The years being kind to the Digidestined of Light, Kari now sported an enticing and appealing figure.
From the mirror, Kari took in and admired her D-cup breasts, tanned, flawless skin, toned stomach and shapely legs, which left her the desire of most men, and some girls, within their school, a thought that left Kari sighing, as the only man she wanted to check her out didn't seem interested in her anymore.
Wrapping her towel around her naked body, Kari exited the bathroom and returned within her bedroom to get changed for the day.
However, Kari expressed another groan to see her partner, the Digimon of Light, Gatomon, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking at the brunette with a sly grin.
"Had THAT dream again?" The feline Digimon asked mischievously, her grin growing as she questioned further. "Was this the one where he was going to lick you out, take you, have a romantic dinner with you?"
Keeping her grin, Gatomon then asked. "Or did you have one with a little roleplay?"
"Just don't, Gatomon." Kari growled in reply as a bright blush covered her cheeks.
As she moved to her closet, withdrawing and to dress into her high school uniform, Kari did what she could to remain calm and to not allow her partner's teasing get to her.
At first, Kari's dreams involving Davis were purely romantic, which revolved around the pair going out for romantic dinners, movies and other moments, but eventually Kari's dreams turned quite erotic as the brunette's desire for Davis only grew.
Shaking her head, Kari refocused on getting dressed as her mind thought of ways to get Davis to notice her again, knowing that many obstacles were before her in winning the heart of her hopeful maroon haired hero.
Aside from Davis' massive fan club, there was also the issue that the majority of her friends, even her dimwitted brother, Tai, believed that she and TK were a couple, or at least soon would be dating, and Kari knew that all this would push Davis in a similar mindset, especially with their past.
What the majority of their friends didn't know was the fact that she and TK were only friends, and that for over a year, the Digidestined of Hope had been dating the Digidestined he had the pleasure of meeting in Paris, Catherine Denvue, and Kari needed to find a way to get this through everyone's heads.
"Kari, stop daydreaming or you'll be late." Gatomon then informed, her word's causing Kari to snap out of her thoughts and to turn her attention back to her near busted alarm clock.
Looking the device over, and to see it was quarter to, Kari rushed to get changed, knowing that though school didn't start for another hour, she still refused to miss a more upcoming and important event.
Quickly rushing out of her bedroom and with her backpack swung around her left shoulder, Gatomon quickly chasing behind her, the Digimon of Light grabbed breakfast for the two of them and quickly made it down the stairs of their complex.
And opening the door, Kari smiled to see, as always, Davis waiting for her, accompanied by the Digimon of Miracles, Veemon, who held a familiar and kind grin on his face.
"Mornin' Kari. Mornin' Gatomon." The V marked Digimon said with a growing warmth in his voice, which seemed to brighten the mood of those present, namely Gatomon's.
From her position, Kari did her best not to swoon as Davis looked upon her with his caring smile.
Feeling her heart rate going crazy as she took in his perfect smile and wonderful eyes, this left the Digidestined of Light fighting the urge to all but to run up and kiss the maroon haired Digidestined deeply upon his lips.
"Good Morning, Kari." Davis then said with a kind voice, before he brought up a small lunch box and offered kindly. "I wasn't sure if you've eaten breakfast yet, but I made some rice balls for you and Gatomon."
"Dig in!" Veemon added happily, knowing that the girls loved it when it came to Davis' cooking and improving skills.
From this offer, Kari did her best not to sigh dreamily, though she could not hide the small blush upon her face as she took the lunch box from Davis and happily accepted his gifts.
Placing the quick breakfast her partner had absconded with her and placing it within Kari's backpack, as snack for later on, Gatomon shared the warm smile of the Digidestined of Light.
"Thank you, Davis." Kari said warmly.
Taking a rice ball into her possession and handing it to Gatomon, before taking one for herself to enjoy, Kari's eyes lit up and her cheeks flushed from the wonderful taste of Davis' cooking.
Not only had Davis continued with his love for soccer, but the maroon haired Digidestined remained invested in his dream of becoming a chef, and Kari found herself lucky enough to enjoy the meals of the Digidestined of Miracles.
"It tastes amazing, Davis." Kari said with a bright smile, which grew as she saw the smile on Davis' face grow brighter from her praise.
"Thanks, Kari." Davis replied modestly.
Putting his right hand behind his head and holding a sheepish look, one Kari found absolutely adorable as the maroon haired Digidestined then said. "I was trying out a new recipe and wanted your opinion."
"Well your cooking keeps getting better and better." Kari said with a smile, adding with an honest tone. "I can't wait for your noodle cart business to start."
Smiling to Kari's words, and to her encouragement, Davis then led the way as he, Kari and their Digimon partners walked towards school, the whole time Kari was left smiling warmly as she chatted with Davis, happy to be able to spend any time with the man of her dreams and just talk with him.
As they continued their walk, with Kari speaking modestly about her classes in education, the brunette failed to notice the way Davis smiled at her, the maroon haired Digidestined loving the sweet and beautiful smile on Kari's face whenever she expressed herself.
Long before even Kari or Tai first entered the Digital World, Davis and his family had moved to Odaiba, with Davis feeling alone as his parents were working and his sister was quick to find friends, this leaving Davis feeling alone and with no place to go, that was, until one particular day, when he was sitting beneath a tree at a park near his home, and a soccer ball landed near his feet.
Picking the soccer ball up and curious to who owned it, Davis then heard a beautiful voice ask if he was alright, this causing the young Davis to look up and to see a young brown haired girl around his age with a smile that lit up his world.
It was at that moment that Davis Motomiya believed he first fell in love with Kari Kamiya, and from that day, he knew he would do anything to keep that smile on her face.
Seeing how Kari looked up to her older brother, Davis tried to emulate Tai in his own way, hoping that Kari's attention would remain focused upon him, but that plan backfired as the Digidestined of Light seemed to only perceive him as a close and cherished friend, while growing closer toward TK.
Even though Davis enjoyed the bond he had developed with Kari over the years since Abaddomon was destroyed, the maroon haired Digidestined knew he couldn't push his luck, believing that Kari would never have the same feelings he held for her.
Refusing to risk his friendship with the Digidestined of Light, Davis remained silent about his true feelings toward Kari, hoping the brunette would find someone who understood how special she was as he had come to know.
As Davis' eyes remained upon the brown haired beauty of his dreams, from her shining hazel eyes and her warm smile, Davis did his best not to be caught as his eyes occasionally roamed along and examined her body.
Taking in Kari's school uniform and how it clung to her figure, mental images of how she looked in her cheerleader outfit, as well as how she filled out a swimsuit quickly entered Davis' head, the maroon haired Digidestined did his best to fight back the more perverted thoughts in his head, believing that Kari wouldn't see it as any sort of flattery.
From their own positions and watching their partners as they continued in their conversation, Veemon and Gatomon both smiled softly.
Both Digimon knew their partners loved and cared deeply for the other, with Veemon knowing just how much Davis cared for Kari and knew those feelings would never leave, while Gatomon knew the deep love her partner now held in her heart for the Digidestined of Miracles.
However, neither Veemon or Gatomon knew how to help their partners in their predicament as the uncertainty of Davis and Kari's feelings remained hard to understand toward the other.
Unbeknownst to the Digimon, meanwhile, Veemon still harboured the same feelings he held for Gatomon.
Within Veemon's eyes, Gatomon remained as the sweet, graceful and beautiful feline Digimon he had fallen for since he first saw her.
Sharing similar feelings, Gatomon no longer saw Veemon as a reckless goofball, but she now saw the V marked Digimon in a new light over the years, now seeing Veemon as a selfless and cherished friend, one which she also thought was easy on the eyes.
But as Davis and Kari, the Digimon of Miracles and of Light remained quiet, the pair were unsure as to how each other truly felt and held a fear that expressed feelings could damage their own friendships.
After their small but enjoyable walk, the Digidestined and their partners arrived at Odaiba High, with most of the students now used to Digimon roaming around and many even having their own Digimon as friends, this allowing Veemon and Gatomon to stay out in the open with no worries, instead of having to hide away and stuff themselves within their partner's belongings.
"Well, we'll see you two at lunch." Davis then said with a soft smile as he looked at Kari, part of him wishing he could end his goodbye by kissing her, even if it was just on her cheek.
"We'll see you then." Kari said in reply with a matching smile, the brunette sharing Davis' hidden feelings as she too desired to spend all day with her secret beloved, before sadly watching as he and Veemon turned to head to their first period class.
"Davis..." Kari then whispered, before she expressed a small and dreamy sigh.
However, the brunette was snapped out of her musing when she heard several sighs along with her own, causing Kari to look and see several of her female classmates and cheerleading squad members looking at Davis with dreamy looks on their faces.
"He's so handsome..." One of the girls commented with a dreamy sigh, with another adding in her own agreeing tone. "I just wish he'd wrap me in those muscular arms."
Kari couldn't help but glare at the other girls and the way they were ogling Davis, the brunette fighting back the urge to slap the girls across their faces, while Gatomon kept a hand on her partner's shoulder for support and to ensure Kari remained in a calm state.
"You can have Davis all to yourself, just save that hunk Veemon for me." One of the partner Digimon, a Floramon then remarked as she eyed Veemon, where it became Kari's turn to keep Gatomon calm as the feline Digimon desired to use the Floramon as a new scratching post.
"I just wish he'd stop hanging around with that Kari girl all the time." One of the girls then said with a hinted jealousy, oblivious to the fact that the Digidestined of Light and her partner were right there.
Sharing in the resentment, another girl added with her own annoyed tone. "Yeah, when is she and her blond haired boyfriend going to finally get together and let us have our chance with Davis?"
Hearing this only added to the depressing thoughts Kari kept in her mind, that so many still thought that she and TK were supposed to be together.
While Kari was happy to have TK in her life and knew how amazing he could be, the continued expectations that she and the Digidestined of Hope were bound by fate left the brunette mentally sick.
Ignoring the girls and their words, Kari took Gatomon before she could unleash her wrath upon the female Digimon eyeing Veemon and headed for class, looking forward to seeing her secret crush again soon enough.

.
.
As the school day ended, Kari and Davis once again found themselves in another favoured part of the day.
Escorting the Digidestined and Digimon of Light back to their apartment, the four remained in high spirits.
From each of their perspectives, Davis, Veemon, Kari and Gatomon had come to enjoy the time they spent together, and all four wished that the feelings that came with this bond would never end.
Finally arriving back at the Kamiya's residence, Kari and Gatomon turned to face Davis and Veemon once again, both desiring to invite the duo of Miracles inside, but both remained uncertain to how their beloveds would take the offer.
Breaking the small silence between them, Davis said with a smile. "So, I guess we'll see you both tomorrow then."
Although keeping his familiar kindness, there was part of him which longed to spend more time around Kari, but knew he shouldn't interfere with any plans she may have already made.
"Yeah, I'm looking forward to it." Kari replied with her own smile, although she too was slightly depressed that she couldn't work up the courage to just ask Davis to stay with her.
However, the Digidestined of Light was in high spirits as she remembered their plans for the next day.
Since it was the weekend, the Digidestined and their friends from the various dimensions were planning to get together in the Digidestined's Digital World for fun, games and just to hang out.
It was also a chance for Davis to cook for everyone, something no one could object to as the various Digi-heroes, Appli Drivers and their partners came to love the maroon haired Digidestined's cooking skills.
Smiling to Kari's response and to the warmth upon her face, Davis then said with a sincere tone. "Well, have a good night and see you tomorrow, sleep well."
'Only if you are in my dreams again.' Kari mentally thought with a sigh as she and Gatomon waved the Digidestined and Digimon of Miracles goodnight.
That said and done, Kari opened the door to her place and let herself and Gatomon inside, a dreamy smile still present on the brunette's face as she entered her bedroom and slumped right onto her bed.
So lost in her state of content, Kari failed to notice a pair of heads looking in her and Gatomon's direction as she walked through the living room, not that either cared as they knew full well what, or who, was currently occupying Kari's mind.
These individuals were the Digidestined of Love, Sora Takenouchi, and her Digimon partner, Biyomon.
A year after MaloMyotismon's defeat, the orange haired Digidestined and her boyfriend at the time, Matt Ishida, ended their relationship on good terms, the pair knowing they were better off as friends rather than lovers, while allowing Sora the chance to purse the one person she truly loved, Tai Kamiya.
Acting on the feelings she held for years, without any hesitation, Sora approached Tai and told him how she truly felt about him, this led to a deep and passionate relationship that has lasted even to this day, with the couple even planning on moving in together very soon.
Likewise, acting on their own feelings for one another, Agumon and Biyomon found themselves inspired by their partners, and soon found themselves falling in love, the Digimon nearly almost as inseparable as their partners.
As Sora's relationship with Tai only grew, so too did her relationship with Kari.
Being the only member of their friends and families, other than TK and Patamon, to know about Kari and Gatomon's real crushes, with Sora being in full support of Kari's feeling for Davis, knowing he had grown into a fine young man, and, though she wouldn't say it aloud, one that wasn't bad on the eyes either.
Getting up from the couch, and knowing that Tai wouldn't be home for a while, Sora entered Kari's bedroom as the brunette turned around, now resting on her back and staring toward the ceiling with a content sigh, smiling warmly as she finally noticed Sora's presence.
"Sora, how do you tell a boy you love them?" Kari asked with a dreamy tone in her voice.
Shifting her body a little and reaching for a photo of all of her friends she had taken, stroking the image of Davis amongst the others, only to express some lament and to say. "Especially one you once pushed away and ignored for stupid reasons?"
"I'm sure Davis doesn't hold that against you, Kari." The Digidestined of Love replied with a kind trust in her voice as she made herself comfortable and took a seat on the edge of the bed beside Kari, who let out another dreamy sigh upon hearing Davis' name once again, causing Sora to sweat drop slightly.
'Wow, she has it bad for Davis.' The Digidestined of Love to herself, but understanding Kari's feelings as she thought about Tai, Sora couldn't blame her for such affection.
As Gatomon and Biyomon joined Kari and Sora upon the bed, and after making themselves comfortable, and being supportive herself, Biyomon then suggested. "Kari, you should tell Davis how you feel, I'm sure he'll be overjoyed to hear that you love him."
Holding the photo closer to her chest, Kari shook her head and replied with a growing doubt. "He hasn't asked me out in years. Even after he saved me, all he has done is treat me like/as a friend. What if he doesn't feel the same for me? What if I screw things up and he never wants to talk to me again? I can't lose him!"
"Besides, just like everyone else, he probably still thinks TK and I are dating." The Digidestined of Light went on to say as she placed her hand over her eyes and expelled a tired sigh.
The memories of what the girls had said from earlier were still fresh in her mind, which left Kari wondering what was going through Davis' mind when it came to her.
Smiling endearingly and remaining supportive to the girl who had become like a younger sister to her, Sora gently rubbed Kari's leg and told the Digidestined of Light with a smile. "Yeah, but remember, TK is bringing Catherine along with him to the party tomorrow, so no one is going to think you two can be a couple anymore."
"You just have to make sure Davis doesn't think you see him as a rebound." Gatomon then remarked casually, the feline Digimon getting a slight glare from Sora and Biyomon, who asked with confusion in her voice. "What? I'm just stating a fact."
Ignoring Gatomon's words, Kari slowly removed her hand from her face as she realized Sora was right, and with everyone seeing that TK was with someone else, maybe, just maybe, Davis would see that she is available, and maybe, he'd finally ask her out again, where Kari had the mental images of Davis asking her on a date, a thought that left her heart racing with excitement.
"O... ok, but you need to promise to let me do this myself." Kari said to/told Sora, knowing that she had to be the one to let Davis know how she felt.
"I promise, Kari." Sora replied with a soft and caring smile.
However, known only to Gatomon and Biyomon, Sora had her fingers crossed behind her back, knowing that the brunette would need a small push in order to help Kari get past her doubts and act on her feelings.
And Sora knew she was going to need some help in doing this.
.
.
.
Finally returning to his apartment and relaxing within his room, Davis slumped on his bed as Veemon began to get what was needed in the kitchen to allow his partner to prepare dinner.
Allowing the maroon haired Digidestined some time to himself, Davis' mind drifted back to Kari.
He loved her, there was no question about that, but the idea of being so close to her and unable to express his feelings, knowing they would be rejected was a great pain upon his heart, and Davis wanted to find a way past the pain.
Looking to his nightstand, Davis saw that his older sister, Jun, had left a series of envelopes from the mail for him, where he picked up the letters and read through them, his eyes widened at what he had read.
Several top culinary schools he had applied for had offered him invitations to tour their campuses and to potentially apply, an opportunity that could help him greatly achieve his dreams of owning and running his own noodle cart business.
However, said schools were not in Japan, but in America, and should Davis accept any of these offers, it meant he would have to leave home, and in doing so, leave Kari.
Thinking more on it, Davis thought that perhaps this was what he needed, some time away to move on and allow his feelings for Kari to simmer.
Putting the letters aside for the time being and returning to his feet as he prepared to fetch dinner for himself and for Veemon, Davis knew he had a lot to think on to this potentially life changing opportunity.
Unknown to Davis, the maroon haired Digidestined had no idea how his life would change over the next few days.
