Rintrah Pov:

"This is it! My first time in the big city, as well off world seeing how this the only planet I have ever visited on since leaving R'Vaal. Because how unlike Earth, which is full of excitement and always interesting sighs and people. My home planet involved that of peaceful and thought beings, but I wanted more. Plus, this is the one place that can help me with my mystical training since I was told my 'mentor' will be here. All I have to do is report to the Department of Integration, as well met up with him. His name is Leonard Powers. A rather mystical name when I think about it."

New York City-Morning

It was a usual busy city in the big apple, more or less how the traffic in the streets was to much. Within one of the taxi's was a humanoid green fur minotaur. Having that of red robes and a small bag. He was looking outside of the window, in which it was both big and large since he'd never seen these types of structures before on his home world.

"This is my new world, it's so beautiful."

Rintrah thinking to himself about the sights as well people. In which the residents weren't just humans, most of them were demons, zombies and all other types of strange creatures. The city was quite the place to be at, in which he soon heard a certain cawing above him.

"Suck my balls!"

A rather crude voice speaking out in which suddenly falling out of the sky was a brown stain upon the cab drivers window. Looking in the air, Rintrah saw it was a man bird wearing nothing but shoes and socks. Along flying over them while heading to the north of the building.

"Damn birds, if I was in charge of the city. I'd make it man bird hunting legal."

Speaking in a Jamaican accent along of how this possibly was a usual thing with these creatures doing their 'business' on cars. Seeing the sight, Rintrah wanted to try something to help the human. Doing a small hand spell, he was able to clean the window making it clear for the driver to continue to drive his taxi.

"Ah. That pretty impressive there rodeo, you a wizard or something?"

The driver asked Rintrah of how he was able to perform that strange magic act. In which the bull nodded his head thanking him for the comment.

"No. I'm a sorcerer. Most people believe their the same, but actuality there's a different. Such as wizards are being born, while for sorcerers they can..."

Before he could explain what made him different from a wizard. There was a bellowing sound coming right in front of them. Sure enough it was a massive land whale, the driver screamed in fear as he didn't want to run into it's legs. Rintrah, held onto his belt as he tried to avoid not tossing and turning. Sure enough, the driver breaks at the red stoplight and taking a break seeing how they managed to pass the large mammal.

"Land whales, they can't drive. You know, my sister married one of them blowholes last year. Now every thanksgiving, We have to spend with his blood clot rats."

Bringing up another complaint as well not noticing him running into a small creature on his window shield. Rintrah, merely nodded not understanding what he meant. In which they soon arrive at the department of integration, it wasn't a large building but looked official due to how grey it was along its people wearing suits and dresses.

"Are you sure this is the place boss? I hear this place ain't nothing but demons taking souls and all bunch of weirdos trying to find a place in the city."

Asking Rintrah about if this was the right spot, the green bull pulled out that of a card which was blank. However, he soon revealed that of several words on it naming the building as well the street address.

"Yes. It is, thank you for your hospitality to your vehicle."

Thanking the driver and bowing his head, to which he merely hands him several coins before leaving the taxi. To which the R'vaalilian was curious about the structure of the building, seeing how he could feel his mentor in there. In which he carried his bag and walked inside to see where he would be learning magic. Arriving inside he saw numerous of human and non humans walking about, in which it seemed rather busy.

"Oh, excuse me. I was wondering if.."

Being polite to try and ask one of the people if he could find his teacher. However most of them didn't answer, or rather take the time to stop as everyone continued to move about.

"Apologies but I wanted to ask if I could find a Lenard Powers? He's my mentor and.."

Trying to talk with one of the employees. He was soon pushed right up against the wall by a man. Human as he could smell him in which seemed rather odd for someone to hold him against the wall due to his size.

"Ease up Wrecker. I got him."

Spoke a voice behind him as Rintrah looked seeing that of a man with a purple mask, while having a security uniform plus holding a crow bar right up against his back. Walking by his side was a much more mature man with black and white hair, as well a red scar coming down on the left side of his face.

"Well ain't this a kicker? Monday already and their letting in bulls. Let me guess, Italy? Rome?"

The man asking Rintrah about some places that he was originated from. Before the green bull could respond to him, Wrecker kept him against the wall making sure he couldn't try anything.

"Whatever shit hole that spawned you. Know that Francis Grimes doesn't lay down for any messed up monster that comes into my city. And if that happens, he deals with my men. The Wreckers."

Informing him about his name as well possibly how he seemed to be security, as well behind him were other officers under his leadership. One had a red mask with blonde hair with his bare knuckles out, another having dark skin with a yellow mask and holding what looked like a wrecking ball. The last one having a complete iron helmet over her head and her police officer suit being orange as well the only girl within the group.

"You know Grimes, since Twayne but us on double shift. We've barely gotten anything to eat. Maybe we should fry up some buffalo wings."

The officer with the red mask making a suggestion as he cracked his knuckles possibly scaring steadily, he closed his eyes trying to remember one of his spells that his mentor has given him.

"Winds of Watoomb!"

Announcing a spell in which he made a gust of air rush right towards the group pushing them away. Each of them tumble against the wall except for Grimes, as he merely looked pissed off from how the bull responded towards them.

"Oh, so your a warlock? Then you better make sure your first name makes actual sense when I'm finished with you."

Informing as he pulled out his baton, in which Rintrah didn't know what to do. However, they soon heard a cough coming right in the middle of them. Turning to the person, it showed a woman. A demon like woman with bright pinkish red with blazing red hair, as well two small horns. She had on a button up collared shirt as well a black skirt, as well giving Grimes a glare.

"Grimes. I see your giving the new rookie a rough time."

"Why of course not Callie. I was just checking out on my team seeing how they thought this was the Houston Texas mascot Toro."

Responding back to in which she walked over to see the wreckers on the ground dazed, as well Rintrah standing there in which he was about to say something as he was going to defend himself. However, Callie grabbed him by the horn making him yelp in pain.

"You know I always get to screw with them when they come into the building."

Smiling to Grimes seeing how she liked messed with the employees of the building. The black haired officer nodded with a smile as well whistled to his men to get up, seeing how they had some work to do. The demoness woman seeing how she gripped Rintrah's horn making it painful for him, soon let's go seeing how he had been teased enough.

"Alright then, your suppose to be the new 'apprentice' for Mr, Powers correct?"

She asked him as her personality changed from demonically wicked to business ethical, Rintrah. Only nodded to her as she soon made the bull follow her.

"Now from what he has informed me is that your not of Earth but from a planet of 'peaceful' beings called the R'vaailians."

Asking him another question which he nodded, along noticed her Devil pointed tail in swaying left to right. In which it pointed at him in a threatening manner for Rintrah to stay focused on the conversation.

"As well that you decided to work for Mr. Powers because you learned about him requiring a apprentice. So let me ask you this."

Callie soon stops making the large green bull stop in his tracks to look at her, making him feel nervous. So far he's never seen a demon like her before, as well how she was much expressive and wicked in both looks and personality.

"What do you think of when this suddenly happens to you."

Asking him a strange question as she soon pushed him up against the wall, as well wraps her left leg around his thigh. Along pushing her breasts against him, Rintrah wasn't custom to this tradition. As well felt the heat coming right off her body, all this sudden motion made his heart beat like a drum.

"Id. Id not do anything but, merely request if you can kindly remove yourself. While I wait for what happens and not do anything."

Giving her answer as Callie merely growled in a demon like manner, she smiled at him of how innocent he smelled. Along that it was amusing for her, Callie soon adjusted herself and straighten her shirt as they continued to walk.

"Well then. Your in for a shitty position when Powers is done with you."

Smiling in a wicked manner of how while he was both large, and could have 'easily' overpowered her. He allowed her to go up against his body, meaning that he was to good. Which made all the worth while to keep him around to torment him, however for Rintrah. He didn't know what just happened, this only made him worry about what would his master be like.

Lenard Power's Office

Within a small office filed with a desk, cabinets along numerous boards was a old man. To which he had a white beard, he had on long purple pants and a matching tie and pointy hat which was based off the stars. Looking at some papers, he pulled out a wand from his desk and turned it into a small cup filled with whiskey. To which he soon drinks it.

"Abracadabra."

Smiling at beverage as he noticed the door opening, making sure he looked clean. The 'wizard' saw that of Callie and Rintrah entering, in which he stood up to see them.

"Leonard. This is your 'apprentice', and from how Grimes suspected him. He's just for you, no weak and groveling like."

Summing up about Rintrah seeing how he didn't defend himself when he met the officer and his gang. Powers, looked at the bull in which he offered a genuine smile towards him.

"The virgin is all yours."

Making her exit before slapping the backside of Rintrah causing the bull to gasp a bit. Callie, showed her forked tongue before heading out to do her work.

"I see she tried to 'tempt' you. Most men would try and coop a feel, but they'd lose their hand and there spine."

Leonard telling him as Rintrah merely nodded to how he didn't do it because he wanted to be respectful for her. Grabbing him a seat, both Leonard and Rintrah sat looking at each other face to face about the interview the wizard was going give to him.

"Now the Kid. I want this fast and clean, tell me when you first learn you could do magic."

He spoke to the bull of how with a creature like him, it seemed impossible that he could practice the mystic arts. Rintrah, nodded as he pulled out a photo of himself near a small purple dinosaur man.

"My former mentor Enitharmon was a weaver. I use to help tailor all types of clothing and capes, in which he saw how my hands could..."

Explaining his background, Rintrah noticed his 'mentor' passed out a sleep seeing how he seemed rather bored about his talking. He decided to do a bit of magic, which involved grabbing a paper bag to the side of his desk and transmutating it into a balloon. He makes it pop as well waking up the elderly man.

"Why did you want to be my apprentice?!"

Stuttering along waking up at the same time, in which he could see that Rintrah preformed a bit of magic to show that he knew a bit of spells. As well asking why he wanted to work under him, to which the bull alien took a moment to think about the question.

"Well. I've heard much about you, seeing how you've lived for several hundred years. As well mastered spells and have seen every major event. Plus, I wanted to be in the 'big apple'. Though I haven't seen any lately."

Explaining why he desired to work in the city, as well to learn what Leonard has gain from the years of him living on this planet. The wizard merely chuckled at how bright the kid was acting, though he would have to tell him the truth about the job here.

"Well then, here's the first thing. Number one, I don't practice magic that much. I can teach a few spells here and there, but what I handle is wizard social services."

The wizard telling him about his occupation of what he does here in the building. To which made Rintrah turned his head at what he meant by that, along how he pulled out several files for the green bull.

"As my apprentice, you will be checking out each file I have one about a certain case that will come up. As well manage the new 'extraterrestrial' services that are arriving soon."

Informing of how while he would be learning magic from him, he'd be also working as a case employee managing other people's problems and see how he could make it easier for them to live in the city.

"Also, got a place to live? The apartments here have gone to absolute shit recently, not because of the décor but of the man birds coming back from their winter migration."

Pointing outside of how several man birds were flying out while shouting out 'Suck my balls!' At the top of their lungs. Meaning that they were possibly making several apartments smell incredibly bad, Rintrah. Nodded as he pulled out a small advertisement for a roommate. In which he showed to his mentor.

"Randall? Randall Skeffington? Man he's my drinking buddy at the pub. He's going treat you good, anyway. Work's almost done, so I'd suggest you get going before traffic hits you."

Suggesting to him of how he would need to get a good's nights rest. Along of how he knew his roommate about he was going be good, in which Rintrah nodded with a smile as he was about to walk out of the office.

"Not so fast rodeo. Before leaving, I want to see a bit of your magic. I know your a sorcerer and know a few spells, but I want to know what you can do."

Asking him if he could perform a small spell before leaving the office. Nodding to him, Rintrah begun to perform two magic shields for both of his hands. Going into a battle stance, it seemed this was how he would handle a fight.

"Cool. Watch this karate kid."

Leonard telling him as he waved his wand which the magical shields he had around his wrists. Soon change to that of mittens, it confused Rintrah about what happen. In which there was a lot he could learn from the wizard.

"Magic."

Saying with a smile seeing how he still got it, along of how he could still show him a few spells while he was working with him. Along have him work on some papers that involve meeting new people and trying to have them fit in within the city, much like he was.

Later downtown

Taking another taxi to the apartment, Rintrah soon saw in front of him the building he'd be living in. The bull walked up the stairs making his way inside, to which he noticed that of the rooms that was listed for him. He found the number room for himself which was '317'. Heading up to the room, he saw the door as well could smell a rather rotting smell.

"Pardon me? Mr. Skeffington? It's Rintrah, your new roommate."

Speaking out threw the door seeing how he wanted to make a good introduction, sure enough the door opened which to the bull's eyes. Wasn't a human or any type of creature like him, but of a zombie. Having both a normal and black eye, dark green skin with tears across the side of his body. The zombie had a laid back look on his face and begun to groan.

"You speak English?"

Randall asked the possible frighten minotaur seeing how he wasn't responding to him. Rintrah, only nodded to him of how he could understand the undead creature. To which he brought him into the room, it didn't look much as well of how it seemed to be the living space for a zombie like himself.

"So Leonard called me, told me that your a new to the city aim I right?"

The zombie asking him about when he first came into the building, seeing how that the wizard may have called him to inform the zombie about Rintrah. The green bull nodded, to which he didn't know what was about to happen to him. Suddenly, the zombie's vacant face soon changed to that of a smile as well tapping him on the shoulder.

"That's fucking great! Seriously women at the clubs love the tourists, especially aliens. Also you got any type of technology that could help impress us?"

Smiling at his new roommate about how that as he's a alien, he should have something space like that could make them look popular. Rintrah only had a bag with him as well showed the zombie roommate that of several items. Which involved some fruits, a book of beginning spells along of a portrait. In which showed his parents, who were roughly smaller than him.

"Oh. So your a farm boy then?"

"If. That's what you consider growing up in a village then yes, born and raised."

Responding back to Randall about his background of where he was raised, to which the zombie shakes his head seeing how the city was going eat him alive. However for Rintrah, he knew that a farm boy like him would have trouble. Though that didn't matter, he was going learn his magic and do good in the city. Even if it meant working in a rather strange company such as the Department of Integration.
