Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, time for another story, this one about She-Ra. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own She-Ra, Mattel and a few others do.

"Do not believe yourself above the others, commander…" Hordak said as he crossed his arms.

Catra looked at the leader of the Horde. She knew very well that the man was not someone that could be trusted. He was dangerous, powerful when it came down to it.

"Brightmoon was almost crushed, yet the other rebels rallied around your former ally…" Hordak said as he crossed his arms. "I'm sure you know very well that I'm aware how close you are with She-Ra." Hordak said as he took his place on his throne.

Catra glowered at the name of her fr-… No, former friend. Adora was nothing to her now, nothing but another enemy to be cut to ribbons on her claws.

She betrayed the Horde for frilly princesses and rebels the Horde was bound to crush. Catra would crush them all, and when they were done begging for her to cut them down?

Then they'd meet their end when she next met them. She just needed more time to capture Brightmoon.

"And have YOU fought Adora?" Catra asked as she pointed a clawed finger at Hordak. "Your supposed to be in charge of the Horde, but I haven't seen YOU do anything to crush the rebels." Catra stated which caused Hordak to lunge from his throne.

Scorpia watched Hordak seize Catra by the throat, looking at her for a moment.

"Do not forget your place, Catra." Hordak stated as he tossed Catra down the stairs. "I have been working on things here. I assigned you to deal with the rebels. Your intelligent, but I will NOT entertain these childish games and powerplays you wish to play." Hordak said as he turned to the rest of the soldiers in the room.

Hordak knew very well that many of the soldiers that fought in his army were organic… That meant they had their own goals, loyalties, alliances, and agendas. They were unlike the drones his empire manufactured to fight.

And Catra still had her own games she wished to play. She could be useful to helping the rebels… But her anger and self-destructive behavior had to be managed.

"I will give you a chance to redeem yourself…" Hordak said as he took his seat on his throne once more. "There have been sightings in the city of Candila. Energy readings that show a portal has opened there… I want you to investigate it." Hordak stated as Catra rubbed at her throat.

Catra knew for a fact that Hordak was keeping her alive for several reasons. It was a power move at the moment.

"And what about those stupid princesses?" Catra asked with a wheeze as he turned to look to the side.

"You will have your chance later, commander." Hordak stated as he crossed his arms. "For now, the disturbance. You are a hunter; I want you to hunt. We will destroy the rebels when their vulnerable." Hordak said as he dismissed Catra and the rest of the Horde soldiers at the moment.

Catra looked to the side, attacking Brightmoon at the moment was suicide. It would lead to a total rout and put them on the backfoot. Hordak was playing things smart, but that wasn't the best move in her mind.

"You are dismissed, commander." Hordak said as Catra turned and left, humiliated in front of her soldiers.

She let out a growl as her eyes narrowed. She was ready to destroy the rebels, but it seemed Hordak had other plans. He would make moves that complicated his grip on Eternia.

And it left him vulnerable to her striking him once she had a way to do so.

"Catra, are you coming?" Scorpia questioned as she clenched her pincers. "C'mon, this will be fun!" Scorpia said only to be silenced by a glare from Catra.

She silenced herself a moment later as Catra hummed and began to think to herself. She knew Hordak was smart, he knew how to fight a war, how to keep the Horde under his yoke.

But that didn't make him unstoppable. Catra would be the one running the Horde sooner or later, she would make sure of that.

Catra focused on the city at the moment. If she went with more soldiers? The rebels would know about them and come to check it out.

Then again? Catra had a feeling that they already knew about what was happening. Catra hummed and shook her head to the side.

Author notes

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out this is a redo of the Brennus story I'm making. I don't want Brennus being some unstoppable Mary sue. Next chapter will be in 2-9 months and will show Catra meeting Brennus along with her own plans and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: This story will follow the show with MANY different changes and such.
