Hi all a nwe story, I am slowly working on book 2 of intruder, but ontil yhen i have this for you, and don't worry i haven't forhoten What our minds are hiding, i am also slowly working on book 2 of that.

Bobbi was with the other security officers, wishing Goodman good luck in his retirement, when the doors opened and in walked Daniel Whitehall, a Hydra head, and a man with a God complex, as far as Bobbi had learned, and Sunil Bakshi, a slimy man she wished she could just throw in a hole somewhere.

"Ah, Mister Goodman, I wanted to say how happy I am with your work for me," Whitehall said, shaking the man's hand.

"Thank you, sir. That means a lot, coming from you," Goodman said.

"Officer Morse, you will be in charge until Goodman's replacement comes, she should be here at the end of the week," Whitehall said.

"Yes, sir," Bobbi said with a stone face.

Bobbi walked into the apartment she had rented for while she was undercover, she had barely sat down on the sofa before her phone pinged, it was a text from Jemma.

Jemma -Can you come over?

Bobbi -On my way

She had been surprised when she had met the scientist, before they went undercover they learned they were Platonic soulmates.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Bobbi asked upon entering Jemma's apartment and seeing how upset Simmons looked, becoming alert.

"I couldn't stop him," Simmons said.

"Who?" Bobbi asked.

"Bakshi," Simmons got out.

"Jemma take a deep breath and tell me what happened. Were you made or is your cover safe?" Bobbi asked, fearing the worst.

"No, I am safe. After today, they will not doubt me," Simmons said.

"Tell me everything," Bobbi said.

So Simmons explained how Bakshi had guided her through how to take control of a brainwashed individual, and they had gotten a hold of Donnie Gill, who had developed freezing powers from the weather machine from the mission she had at the academy, so long ago.

"So now Donnie is in the basement, all because of me," Simmons sobbed.

Bobbi pulled her into her arms, "No, it is not your fault, it is Hydra's," Bobbi said.

It was almost an hour later that Simmons had calmed down, "Sorry, I am just so worried what they will do to him, he is just a kid," Simmons said.

"It's okay, I understand how you feel," Bobbi said, standing up from the floor they somehow had ended up sitting on, pulling Simmons with her.

"How was your day?" Simmons asked.

"Goodman retired, so I am in charge until his replacement arrives later in the week," Bobbi said.

"Do you know who it is? Goodman was pleasant enough, beside that he worked for Hydra," Simmons asked.

"No, I only know it will be a woman," Bobbi answered.

Bobbi stayed with Simmons that night, but they were woken up in the middle of the night by Bobbi's phone ringing.

"Morse," Bobbi said into her phone.

"This is Anders from the front desk, we have an issue," a voice spoke out from the other side.

"I'm on my way," Bobbi said, hanging up the phone.

"I'm sorry Jemma, I have to go in, they have an issue of some sort. Will you be okay?" Bobbi asked Simmons while she was putting her shoes on.

"Yeah, I'm good, did they say what kind of problem?" Simmons asked.

"No, only that they had one, see you later," Bobbi said, walking out of Simmons' one bedroom apartment.

"See you," she heard Simmons say before the door was closed completely.

Bobbi walked into the control room and saw a few people scrambling around the controls and on the monitors, she could also see guards running around.

"Anders, report," She commanded.

The man sprang up from his seat, "Ma'am, the alarms were activated 48 minutes ago, we are trying to find the cause, but haven't found anything yet," Anders said.

"Where have our people been so far?" Bobbi asked, stepping closer to the monitors.

10 minutes later, Whitehall and Bakshi walked in too, "Have you found the cause yet?" Bakshi asked.

"No, sir," Andres answered.

"Okay, call off your men," a woman said that Bobbi had not seen come into the room.

"Who are you?" Andres said.

"Your new boss," Bakshi said.

Anders hurriedly did as he had been told and called the men off.

"This is Alisha Adams, your new Chief of Security," Whitehall said.

"Sorry sir, but I thought she wasn't supposed to come until later this week?" another man asked.

"That was what you were told, yes, but I wanted to see how you would handle a potential threat to our organization, and seeing how you just handled this, there are some areas we can improve on, and we will," Adams said.

"I wish you luck Chief Adams," Whitehall said, shaking Adams hand, and walking out with Bakshi following.

"Agent Morse, right?" Adams had turned towards her.

"Yes ma'am," Bobbi answered.

"Follow me, we have a lot to discuss, and the rest of you, get back to work," Chief Adams said, walking out, not looking back to see if Bobbi followed.

It wasn't until the next evening that Bobbi managed to meet up with Simmons.

"Ohh, I am so tired," Bobbi complained plopping down on the sofa in Simmons's apartment.

"Oh, poor you," Simmons teased, ignoring Bobbi's glare.

"I swear that Adams lady is insane, she is making our jobs way harder, or at least mine. I don't have time to do anything Coulson asked me to look for," Bobbi said. "AHHH!" she then screamed into a pillow.

"She seemed fine when she introduced herself in the Labs earlier today, scary yes, but so was Goodman. We just have to stay calm," Simmons said.

"You know you sound like me and I sound like you. I am panicking, and you are calm and are trying to help me calm down," Bobbi said, smiling.

"Well, I have had a good teacher," Simmons said, returning the smile. "May, of course," she then said, preparing herself for Bobbi's reaction and she wasn't disappointed when Bobbi tackled her to the ground, tickling her sides.

"Okay, okay, you too," Simmons got out in her laughing state, Bobbi stopped, satisfied with Simmons' response.

Chief Adams had called Bobbi into her office three weeks later. Bobbi was surprised, but didn't show it, when upon entering the office Simmons was sitting in a chair fiddling with her hands and bouncing her legs up and down.

Looking around the room Adams was there and so was Whitehall and Bakshi, along with an agent she had seen around.

"Ah, Officer Morse, shut the door and sit down so we can begin," Whitehall said, sitting in Chief Adams's chair.

"Yes sir," Bobbi said and did what she was told.

"We are sending you three on a retrieval mission. We have an operative who has requested an exit team and medical. That is why you are here Doctor Simmons. Officer Morse you are in charge until you meet up with our agent, then she will take over. Agent Michael, you will be the pilot," Bakshi explained.

Bobbi was curious about who the agent was, she learned that the agent was a woman, and had a higher rank than her, and she was important enough for Whitehall and Bakshi to be involved in the extraction plan.

And even for her to be sent on a mission was also curious, she was supposed to work with security, not missions, and as if he could read her mind Whitehall spoke up.

"Officer Morse, do you want to ask a question?" he asked.

"Yes, sir, why am I being sent out? I am not a field agent, and Doctor Simmons is a scientist," Bobbi asked, hating to downplay Simmons skill set, but also wanting to go on the mission, but only to protect Simmons, and she still had a cover to maintain.

"You are right, but we demand from all of our operatives to go on missions, even our doctors and scientists, and Doctor Simmons has proved herself," Whitehall answered.

Bobbi just nodded her understanding, and then they continued discussing what would be the best plan to retrieve the agent.

"Lastly, this is our agent you will pick up," Bakshi said, showing them a picture of a young woman. She looked younger than Bobbi, and Bobbi could not understand how she had gotten that high in rank.

She had gotten a lot of beef from some of the male staff, that she was a woman and their boss was insulting to them. She didn't see the male staff responding well to a girl being a higher rank than them.

Or maybe the young woman or girl wasn't that high up, and she was only in charge because Bobbi wasn't a field agent, she would find out, but she wasn't about to ask, she had a feeling they would answer.

It seemed that Michael didn't know her either.

"When do we leave?" Bobbi asked.

"In twenty minutes, so go get ready, medical supplies are being packed as we speak," Chief Adams answered.

"Yes ma'am," Both Michael and she said, at the same time with Simmons quickly repeating them.

"Dismissed," Whitehall said.

Fifteen minutes later they met at the plane they were flying out in, "Hey, you okay?" Bobbi whispered to Simmons.

"Yes, we are just an extraction team, we are only supposed to pick up an agent, a very young one," Simmons said almost to herself.

"Strap in you two," Michael's voice called to them.

"What is that?" Bobbi asked, referring to a pink backpack.

"That is for the agent you are getting, do not touch it, she will know," Chief Adams said from the hanger door.

"Here are the coordinates for pick up, she will be there when you arrive," Chief Adams said.

It was a six-hour flight, Bobbi and Simmons couldn't really talk to each other, mostly because Michael was a talker.

Finally, they were there, they touched down in a clearing in a forest, Bobbi told Simmons to wait on the plane while her and Michael went outside.

A few minutes later the agent they were picking up came out from behind the trees, dragging what looked like a person.

"Who is that? We were told it would be you only," Michael asked. The girl just looked at him for a moment, and then the girl gave a little laughter through her nose and walked past them while still dragging the person behind her.

"Are you the doc?" Bobbi could hear the girl's voice ask, and suddenly remembering that Simmons was in there, she quickly, but not too quickly, walked into the plane just as Simmons said yes that she was.

"Make sure he doesn't die," the girl said, just as Michael came stomping in.

"Hey, we were not told of any other person being with you," He said.

"So?" the girl just said not looking at him, looking around the plane, until her eyes landed on the pink backpack.

"Doc, is he fine to travel?" the girl asked Simmons.

"Yes," Simmons said.

"Get the plane in the air," the girl ordered, looking at Michael.

He just stood there like he had forgotten that the girl was now the boss, and just as Bobbi had thought that, he seemed to remember.

"Yes ma'am," he said hurrying to the pilot seat, and started preparing for takeoff, "strap in," he called back. When everyone was strapped in, he took off.

The girl opened her bag and pulled out an iPod and put the buds into her ears. It seemed like she wasn't a talker, Bobbi thought.

Then the girl took out a computer, and started tapping away on something, maybe she was doing her mission report, she only looked up to watch the unconscious man and Simmons work.

"Doc, he needs to be sedated or else I have to knock him out again," the girl said when the man she had dragged with her started to move, Simmons quickly sedated the man, not wanting to bring more harm to the man.

When they landed back at base Whitehall, Bakshi, and Chief Adams greeted them.

"And who is this?" Bakshi asked when the girl dragged the man down the ramp, and in front of them.

"A prisoner," was all the girl said.

"And who told you to take prisoners?" Bakshi asked.

"No one," the girl answered, clearly bored. "I just want to know who vetted the people who were sent to pick me up?" she asked.

"I did," Bakshi said, straightening his back.

"You did? Then why didn't you find the spy?" she asked.

This had everyone straightening their backs. Bobbi could see Simmons starting to panic, she herself was starting to sweat a little. How did she know?

"Explain," Whitehall ordered.

"That idiot you sent as a pilot is a spy from the CIA," she said, and on cue, Agent Michael made a run for it, but was stopped by a knife in the back of his knee, thrown by the girl.

"Take him into holding," Chief Adams ordered two men nearby, "and this one too," she said, gesturing to the man on the floor in front of her, and two other men quickly took hold of him.

"Morse, Simmons, you are with me for debrief," Chief Adams said, walking away followed by Bobbi and Simmons.

That evening Bobbi and Simmons were at Bobbi's apartment giving Coulson and May a rundown of their mission and the girl.

"And you don't know who she is, no name?" Coulson asked over the hologram.

"No, Sir," Bobbi answered.

"Is she staying under Whitehall, or is she moving to another base?" May asked.

"We don't know," Bobbi answered.

Coulson released a breath, "Okay, see what you can learn about her, she might pose a threat. If she could figure out the CIA agent that fast, you two must be careful around her, especially if she stays around," Coulson said.

"Yes sir, understood," Bobbi and Simmons said.
