Welcome to the Final Season of Doctor Who! First some background: my previous stories are crucial to understanding this final one. Here they are again in the order of the Doctor's timeline:

The Birds that Sing to Your soul (Fifth Doctor)

Sil and the Doctor (Sixth/Tenth Doctor)

The Times of the Mara (Twelfth Doctor) Doctor Who/Big Bang Theory crossover

Zombies! (Twelfth Doctor)

The Beginning (Thirteenth Doctor) Doctor Who/Red Dwarf crossover

How the Doctor got her TARDIS back (Thirteenth Doctor)

And here is the episode guide to the final season:

1. The City that Hated Christmas

2. It had to happen, a Doctor Who/Futurama crossover (1)

3. Auld Lang Syne (2)

4. The Learning Curve (3)

5. Carmel

6. The Last Companion

7. The Vasari

8. The Array

9. Spencer and Associates, 13 Matthew Parker Street

10. Stay Together for the Kids

11. An Ordinary Day in Milton Keynes

12. Eclipse

13. Unglucklich das Land, das Helden notig hat

Each episode will probably take up two chapter in fanfiction, approximately 5500 words each. Each episode will consist of a prologue, four acts and an epilogue, although the final episode will probably be longer.

And now for a preview of the final season:

The Intro

The Thirteenth Doctor is in a café with Graham O'Brien, Ryan Sinclair and Petronella Osgood. "When I retrieved the TARDIS after the Weeping Angels and Cassandra stole it, Cassandra told me it had little more than a year left before it would be destroyed in an explosion." (We see the TARDIS destroyed by some sort of shock wave.) "And today a year has officially passed."

"I am running out of time. I have a very old enemy, Who has been waiting a very long time. And whoever that enemy is, something very bad is threatening the cosmos." (We see images of the Daleks, Davros, The Master, a Cephestian official, Lytton, A Silent. A shot of a nameplate: Spencer and Associates, 13 Matthew Parker street.)

More scenes, taken out of context.

An explosion in space appears on the screen. Then we see an intergalactic armada, with an infinite variety of spaceships.

We see Ryan changed into a Futurama character. "Oh my god, what's happening? I'm missing a finger! I'm missing another finger!"

We see the Doctor, Petronella and a very old woman, dressed as some sort of soothsayer/wise woman, all very heavily pregnant. "Hmm, that's a bit odd," the Doctor says, almost nonchalantly.

We see the Doctor in some godforsaken place. "But you're dead," an angry, malevolent voice shouts.

"I suppose I am. And I understand why you might be annoyed," she replies.

More shots of people who are probably or definitely enemies.

We see Johnny Galecki, looking very much like Leonard Hofstadter, smiling evilly, as he walks in the background of an early 20th century grand theatre. "Hello. My name is Greenman."

We see a strange ethereal being floating above what is apparently the biggest disco in the entire universe. Among the crowds dancing we catch a shot of Jackie Hawkins.

We then see a Cyberleader dancing, while Diana Ross' "Chain Reaction" plays in the background.

We see an Afro-Englander shouting: "Who are you Doctor? WHO ARE YOU?!"

And in some place, with vaguely Roman style architecture, there are Reapers from "Father's Days," ravaging the buildings. Inside a room we see a Weeping Angel, slowly walking and speaking. "You're keeping your eyes open. And it's not doing you any good."

Companions

(Voiceover) Petronella Osgood: I am the last companion of the Doctor

(We see shots of Captain Jack Harkness, Yasmin Khan, Melanie Bush, Vislor Turlough and Donna Noble).

Final Scene

And in the darkness, where nothing can be seen, we here a very familiar voice. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

But this is just a preview. Doesn't a story chapter have to include some content that advances the plot? It does, and here it is:

"Hello, hello? Testing, testing. This is Luke Smith. I don't know if anyone can hear this. I mean there are so many Doctors, and quite possibly all of them can hear it. Even the ones who never met her. But it's about Sarah Jane. Everyone thinks that's she dead. I thought she was dead too. But she isn't. It's hard to explain, and I think whoever's behind it found a way of muddling my brain. But someone kidnapped her. Somebody kidnapped her, made everyone think she died of old age. And whoever did it, really has something planned against the Doctor. Whoever hears this, please help. Please help."
