Welcome to book Three of Rebekah's story. I am so glad you decided to check it out and I hope you love it. I have enjoyed writing this part of the story the most so far but there have been a few difficult-to-write chapters. I do hope you enjoy this and let me know what you think. I own nothing.

I woke up to the smell of breakfast cooking and decided to go check it out. Grabbing my robe and putting it on I made my way to the kitchen.

Walking in I saw everyone working together making breakfast. I could tell Pepper was taking charge and telling the others what to do.

"This is a sight to see." They all looked at me.

"What are you doing up?" Dad asked me.

"I smelt food, and I am hungry. I decided to see what was going on."

"Well, we had planned to bring it to you," Nat told me.

"But now you are here you can eat with us," Clint said.

"What is all of this for?"

"Well the last few years have been slightly, well a mess and we wanted to do something special for you because you are always doing things for everyone else," Dad told me.

"In other words, you deserve this after the disaster of the last few," Nat added.

Steve walked over to me and smiled.

"What they are trying to say is Happy Birthday." He leaned down and placed a small kiss on my lips before looking at me.

"Thank you but you really don't need to do all of this. As nice and lovely as it all is, you don't need to make it a big day."

"That is where you are wrong, daughter of mine. Today is all about you and as such you are going to get everything you want."

"A quiet day."

"Well other than that, we want to celebrate you. So let us, you deserve it."

"Alright, I guess one day won't be that bad. What is first?"

"Breakfast, then they have planned all kinds of things for you, so be prepared for everything."

"Thanks, Pepper."

"Now set down and eat up," Nat said lightly pushing me to a chair and then setting a plate of food in front of me.

Over the next hour, I sat with all of them and we ate breakfast laughing and talking.

It had been nice they all were starting to truly get along and I could see them all becoming friends which was really nice to watch. I knew Phil would love to see them all so close together.

Once breakfast was eaten I looked at all of them.

"So what now?"

"Now you come with Pepper and me and we get you ready for a wonderful day."

"That makes me even more nervous Nat."

"Don't worry, it will be fine."

"I have heard that before."

"Come on." Nat came over to me before dragging me behind her and Pepper followed.

"If I'm not back in an hour, send back-up," I call out to the guys.

"Very funny, we will be fine." She tells them and then drags me to my room.

Once in my room, I look at them.
"So what am I wearing then?"

Nat pulled out a box and handed it to me.

Laying it on the bed I pull the box open and look at the dress inside. It was a beautiful light blue sundress that had a light ruffle at the end of the short sleeves and then flowed down into a beautiful flow of fabric that was shorter in the front and longer in the back.

"This is beautiful, you didn't need to do this."

"We know but we wanted to do it," Pepper told me with a smile.

"You both are the best."

"And don't you forget it," Nat said. "Now go get ready, we will be waiting here for you."

I head into my bathroom before taking a quick shower and then slip on the dress once I am done. I walk back into my room.

"What do you think?"

"You look amazing, now let's finish." Nat and Pepper helped me to curl my hair as I put on my locket and the chain with the rings.

Once we were done with that Nat handed me a shoe box.

"Shoes as well?"

"Just open them and put them on." I smiled at her and opened the box.

I pulled out the shoes to look. They were sandals that had a white strap that went over the foot that looked like flower cutouts and then had a white ribbon you tied around your ankle. I smiled and put them on. Then I looked at both of them.

"This really is too much."

"Well, May told me to get the shoes. She knew you would love them."

"Of course she did."

"Now come on, we need to get the guys and get going."

"Where would that be?"

"You will find out, inpatient one."

"It was worth a shot." We all walk back down to meet the guys. Pepper and Nat take the lead and I walk in behind them. They all turn to look at me.

"Baby girl, you look beautiful."

"Thank you, daddy."

Steve walked over to me with a smile.

"You are breathtaking," he tells me so only I can hear.
"Thank you." He kissed my cheek before we turned to the others.

"Well if everyone is ready, let's go. We have a schedule to keep." Dad said and they started to all walk out. I walked with Steve as he had his arm wrapped around me.

"Since when do you stick to the schedule?"

"When it is for my little girl. Now come on, we can't be late." We all walked out and headed outside where Happy was waiting for us in a limo.

"What is this?"

"Only the best '' I walked over and Happy opened the door.

"Happy birthday little one."

"Thanks, Happy." We all get in before Happy shuts the door and gets in and we take off.

"What are we doing?"

"You will see," Dad said with a smile that matched the others as well.

We were driving for a while when I realized where we were going.

"Why are we going this way?"

"You will see." That was all dad said and then went back to talking with the others.

I laid my head on Steve's shoulder.
"Are you alright?" He whispered to me.

"I am, Although I would be better if you told me where we were going."

"You will find out soon, I promise."

"They even have you in on it."

"I know, but I think you will truly like it."

"Well I am with you, so I am sure that I will." I listen to the conversations around me while we finish our drive and then we stop.

"Where are we?"

"Let's get out and you will see." I roll my eyes at dad and we all start to get out.

Once I get out I look around before looking at dad.

"Sands Point Preserve, what are we doing here?"

"We have a tour, I know how much you have wanted to come here and love the history of it. So I thought you would enjoy this."

"It's great dad, thank you." I walked to him, giving him a hug.

"Let's go in."

We all walked in and met our tour guide. Rhody met us and spent time walking around with us all.

Most of the tour was spent just having a good time and enjoying being together for the first time in a long time like this.

Everyone was looking around and I was with Nat. She leaned over and whispered to me.

"You know this would make a pretty nice wedding venue. Not going to lie."

"Where did that come from?"

"Please anyone can see it is just a matter of time."

"So are you going to tell me more about James then?" I had a small smile playing on my lips as I looked at her.

"That is… I don't know but we are talking about you."

"It's alright to admit you love him."

"I don't think I can."

"He is going to remember you, Nat, he's getting the help he needs and everything will work out the way it was meant to."

"You have become very optimistic as of late."

"Well, what can I say? Having a breakdown really changes how you look at life."

"It's good to see you so happy again."

"It feels good. Come on, let's go look at the view. After all, I need to see everything if I would think of it being a venue."

"See, even you are thinking about it."

"Maybe just a little bit."

After we finished we decided to have lunch before we went wherever they were taking me next. At this point, I was believing it could be anywhere.

We ended up going to a park and walking around. Laughing and talking, all of us just having fun and enjoying time together.

We then headed to the water and boarded a sunset cruise.

I was standing with Steve at the back of the boat and looking at everything as the sun lit it all up on its way down.

"This really is amazing, and has been the best day."

"I am glad you deserve everything Rebekah."

"Well thank you, but you do know that I don't need all of this right? I know people think that because of who I am and my family I expect all of this and fancy life. While yes it may be fun at times. I am happy just to have a simple and planned life because life is not about what you have or what you do but the people in our lives that make it worth it."

"You truly are something else, and I am so glad that out of everyone you chose to love me, and be with me. I know I don't have much and I definitely don't come from a past like yours or a family as you have. But I promise you I will show you just how lucky I am to have you every day. To show you how much I love you."

"I love you, Steve." He wrapped his arms around me before kissing the top of my head.

We then spent some time watching the sun go down before heading to meet the others.

Once we docked we all got ready to head home. As we had dinner before the boat ride I thought we were heading back to the tower but when we passed the road I looked at dad.

"Where are we going?"

"One more surprise for you."

"Really. Everything has been amazing. You don't need to do more."

"I know but we figured you would enjoy this."

I watched roads and buildings pass by until we finally turned to where we were going.

We all got out and I was confused.

"Why are we here? I think we got here a little too late for anything."

"Well, we are all staying the night."

"Really dad?"

"You wanted to stay in a castle. This is the closest to home at the moment. Happy birthday baby girl." I walked over to dad and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"Thank you, this is amazing. I can't believe we are staying here."

I looked at the building.

In front of me stood Oheka Castle in all of its beauty.

"Wait, we don't have things to stay overnight."

"Come and see this." I followed the others to the trunk where Happy opened it to reveal luggage.

"You really planned everything."

"Well I had some help but I figured it was my turn to plan some."

"It's amazing dad, thank you." I hugged him once again.

"Pepper and I packed your bag while you were in the shower."

"Thanks, Nat, and Pepper. I know you both had a hand in helping." I say looking at them.

"Anything for you sweetie."

"What can I say, I have gone mama spider mode."

"Well, I like it."

We all made our way in and then dad took care of checking us in. Then gave out all of the rooms.

Our luggage was taken to the rooms and we were led to the small ballroom.

"What are we doing now?"

"You will see."

We walked in and it was beautifully decorated for a party. There was a stunning cake and presents stacked up on a table.

I smiled as I looked around.

"You didn't need to do all of this. Everything you did earlier was more than enough. I don't need all of this as well."

"We know, but we wanted to do this for you."

"You are always doing everything for everyone else."

"We wanted to do this because we love you and appreciate all you do." Pepper, Nat, and Steve told me.

"Rebekah, you have not always had the easiest of life and a lot of that is to do with me but this today I wanted to be all about you. I want you to know that I see you, we all see you and we want you to always know how much we care and love you. Everyone in this room you have helped in more than one way. You do everything you can to help people and help all of us. We want you to know that we are amazed and so thankful for the person you are. As a little girl, you always had the biggest heart. You wanted to give people gifts on your birthday. You are truly someone so special to all of us and so very loved as well. You deserve all of this and so much more."

"I don't even know what to say. So I will say thank you and I love each and every one of you with my whole heart and I always will."

"Well let's get this party started then," Dad replied.

After that, we did just that. We danced and laughed, telling stories and having a good time.

They sang to me and we had cake and I opened presents. It was a fun evening and much needed after all that had been going on the last few weeks.

It was midnight before we all parted ways saying goodnight and heading to our rooms.

Once in my room, I saw a beautifully wrapped box sitting on my bed. I smiled before making my way over to it.

I picked up the card and looked at it. Then I lost my breath for a second.

The front of the envelope had my name on it in mom's handwriting.

I slowly pulled it out and opened the card.

My darling little girl,

Today is a special day for you, what I wish for you my darling on your special day and always. I want you to be happy, not only during special times like your birthday today but during ordinary little moments of life as well.

I want you to trust the dreams of your heart and have the courage and strength to pursue them, whether doors are easy to open or you have to work a bit harder to find your way in.

I want you to believe you can take on the world single-handedly, but remember you never walk alone when you have family and friends.

I want you to know your worth, and not be afraid to let it shine through so that others can see all that you are and all you have to give.

I want you to feel loved and accept nothing less than true respect for who you are as a person and who you are as a woman.

I want all the best for you because you're the beautiful daughter I love and you deserve all of this and more.

Never forget how loved you are and that you will always be my little girl full of so many hopes and dreams. May this birthday and all that are to come be all you want.

Love forever Mom

Tears started to fall down as I read the card over and over. Then I saw in the corner it was dated right before she had passed away. I saw a note setting on the present and picked it up to read it as well.

I found this and figured your mom would still want you to have it. I also figured you would want to open this one, not with all of the others. Happy Birthday baby girl. I love you so much. Love, dad

I smiled and held both letters before turning to the box and slowly opening it.

Setting inside was a piece of folded paper set on top of tissue paper that covered what was in the box. I picked it up and opened it to be greeted with more of mom's handwriting. I smiled at the paper and read it.

My Darling girl,

I know how much you love this and what it means to you. So it was time that I did what was our original plan. When everyone was told about you Ana, Maria, and Peggy decided to make a blanket for you. But they wanted one to grow with you. So that baby blanket that you would carry everywhere with you. They made a bigger outside to it that they had planned to add later but things didn't go as planned. Then a few weeks ago I found it. So I added it for you. Now even though both Maria and Ana are gone you will have this piece forever from them. They all loved you so very much just as I do. And maybe just one day you will be able to pass this on to your own kids. I hope you love it baby and remember how much I love you, how much all of us love you. Happy birthday my sweet and beautiful girl. Love forever, mom

With a smile and more tears, I put the paper down and opened the tissue paper to reveal the blanket. I slowly pulled it out and held it up. It was a lot bigger than I had remembered it. Unfolding it I could see that my baby blanket was in the middle of this huge blanket that she had done. Now I had something that all of them had worked on for me. I had thought when I moved in with dad that it was lost and it had broken my heart that I had lost my baby blanket from them. But now after all of this time dad had found it and I had it back.

Wrapping myself in the blanket I let the tears flow as I looked at all of the details of it.

That was when I saw a square in the corner. Looking at it I saw that it had stitches that said. 'We love you to the moon and back more than all the stars in the sky.' Love, Grandma, Ana, Peggy.

I smiled as I ran my finger over the stitching. Each name was stitched a little differently and I could tell each of them had done their own names.

This had to be one of my favorite presents and I was glad dad left it here for me to open without everyone because I was crying and was a mess right now.

I knew that no one would say anything but I was glad I could have this moment without everyone watching.

Getting up I quickly got ready for bed and then made my way back to the bed.

Setting the card and letters on the table next to my bed I grabbed the blanket and wrapped up in it before sitting on my bed and picking up my phone to see a text.

'Wanted to say Happy Birthday one more time. Good Night, I love you.'

With a huge smile, I sent him one back.

'Thank you Steve for everything. I love you, good night. I will see you in the morning.'

I put my phone back down and tucked into my blanket. With a smile, I wrapped myself tight. Happy that it had been such an amazing day with amazing people to spend it with. I could handle more days like this.

With that, I fell asleep with a huge smile on my face.

There you have the first chapter. Kind of a fun and happy one, but the drama is not over just yet. I do hope you enjoyed this and will continue to read it. Please review it and let me know what you think about it.
