I do not own anything from the harry potter universe, unfortunately.

Stepping back into Grimmauld place after nearly a month of being away was a strange feeling. Stranger still that it was near unrecognizable except to Sirius. The last time he had seen the house looking this presentable he had run away to the Potters. Walking in the group marveled at the changes, the wallpaper seemed brand new and there wasn't a speck of dust to be found on anything. Everything was shined and wiped down with meticulous care.

It also smelled wonderful, in a word fresh would be accurate. This was no longer the dreary dank home of a fallen family but a revitalized place for a young Lord. The group's attention was then drawn by a pair of pops as Dobby and Kreature appeared in front of them.

"Master Harry Potter has returned! Oh, joyous day!" Dobby cheered as he came up and Harry smiled as the small elf eagerly took his hands.

"The young master has wished it, so the Noble House of Black has been revived," Kreature stated with a bow.

"It is incredible Kreature, Dobby. It will be an honor to host in such a magnificent home now." Harry said and Dobby cheered while Kreature gave a barely noticeable smirk.

"The young Master should know that many Parcels have arrived. Kreature and Dobby have taken the liberty of placing them on the kitchen table for you to peruse at your Leisure. The Ancient Lord Arcturus Black wishes to speak with disgraced Lord Sirius." Kreature said though to his credit didn't scowl at Sirius.

"Right, of course he does."

"Everything alright Pads?" Harry asked and Sirius nodded.

"Yes, it is. I'll go deal with old Granddad you lot go ahead and see to your mail." Sirius said scooching past the teens and going up the stairs to the study where Arcturus waited.

"Dobby would you mind taking these to my home? I can unpack them later." Hermione asked as she held out her shrunken luggage.

"It'd be no problem at all Miss Granger, Dobby is doing the unpacking as well!"

"You don't have to Dobby, I can take care of it."

"But Dobby be wanting to Miss!" Dobby cheered as he took the shrunken luggage and Kreature took the rest from Harry but Daphne and Susan hung on to theirs. They then disappeared with a pop.

"Let's see what we got in the mail," Harry said as he made his way to the kitchen. Upon entering He saw a pretty pile of packages some in boxes others wrapped in paper. It was laid out along the length of the table which was impressive seeing as the table was meant to fit at least twelve people comfortably.

"So... should we start left to right?" Susan asked.

"How about Harry and I start on the left and you and Daphne start on the right then we'll meet in the middle," Hermione suggested and they nodded. Harry started undoing some of the packages and ready the letters that accompanied them. Almost all of them started the same.

'Dear Harry Potter, The Immortal. I am ashamed to know that these precious Heirlooms of your house were taken without your knowledge. I return them now in good faith with hopes that we may have fortuitous relations in the future.' Harry would often read. Some of them even went as far as to invite him to Balls and other gatherings hosted by the families. The girls even found a few where the heads of the families even offered a possible marriage contract or concubine contract with their daughters.

"I mean honestly! First, they take your property, now they want to curry your favor with some slags!" Daphne angrily ripped up some letters.

"To be fair they were offered by what they believed to be a Hero of the Wizarding world at the time."

"Blind obedience and idiocy," Hermione mumbled remembering a time when she might've been like these people and if Dumbledore said so she would do just about anything.

"Wow, what is this?" Susan said unwrapping a package and holding out what appeared to be a wand woven from vines into a spiral almost like a unicorn horn. Along the length of the vines were small symbols carved into them that ran the length of the wand.

"Not like any wand I've ever seen. Does the letter say anything?" Daphne asked and Susan read it.

"The usual, Harry Potter The Immortal accept our apologies blah blah blah. Your body is the best and you have a brilliant mind and you have the most beautiful girlfriends in all the land."

"Susan!" Harry exclaimed with a grin betraying his amusement. Ever since they were together for their first time, and a few more times after that, she and Hermione had become almost as confident as Daphne when it came to shameless flirting.

Susan grinned at Harry and read the rest of the Letter.

"It is my understanding that this wand has a unique healing power said to be crafted from vines that wrapped around the stone that held the Legendary sword Excaliber and the core is crystallized tears from a Pheonix." Susan read out and looked back at the wand with amazement. "Do you think that's true?" She asked and Harry shook his head.

"I don't know, we can ask Saurfang once we get this back into my Family's vault. Speaking of why didn't they put it back there when these were returned?" He asked.

"It's actually not that strange when something is stolen from a person's vault or it is wrongly sold or displaced the Goblins will always send it directly to the home of the owner so that the owner can verify its authenticity," Daphne explained.

"But I didn't know about this stuff, how will I be able to tell it's the real thing?"

"It's just their policy we can ask Saurfang to overlook everything to verify it's all real and not fakes." She said picking up a small box and briefly reading the letter before rolling her eyes and tossing it aside. She then unwrapped the box and opened it revealing a gorgeous silver ring. It was shaped like a serpent with small emeralds going along its length. Taking out of the box she examined it and saw an engraving on the inside.

"Strike with the speed of a viper." She read aloud "Harry do you mind if I try this on?" She asked and Harry nodded.

"Of course as long as it's safe." She thanked him and slipped the ring on her finger. She did love the style and it was beautifully crafted, it was a bit big on her finger but as soon as she thought that the snake seemed to coil itself snugly against her finger.

"Brilliant." She whispered and went to pick up another parcel but when she did so her hands blurred and instead of picking it up she smacked it across the room.

"Daphne!" Susan exclaimed as she jumped from the sudden motion.

"I didn't do that! Or I didn't mean to." Daphne said looking at her hands and then at the ring. Raising a brow she then looked at a letter she had tossed aside and reached for it. Just like last time her hands suddenly blurred with speed as she snatched the letter up and brought it back to her in the blink of an eye.

"Bloody hell!" Daphne exclaimed quickly taking off the ring.

"How'd you do that?" Susan asked.

"I think it was the ring, here try it on," Daphne said and Susan did so just like with Daphne the ring adjusted itself to fit snugly on her finger. "Now reach for something," Daphne said and Susan went to grab an unopened box, and just like Daphne's hand hers blurred with speed and she smacked the box away.

"Whoa!" Susan said as Harry and Hermione came over to see.

"So it's enchanted?" Harry asked as Susan handed the ring over to him so he could see it.

"Yes, the inscription says to strike with the speed of a viper. Your ancestors were supposed to be like Druids right? Maybe all their relics do something similar." Daphne guessed and Hermione thought of it and went over to a box she had unwrapped and opened it revealing a hand chain that had a simple bronze-colored ring for each finger that attached to a chain that attached to a bronze bear paw that would rest on the back of your hand.

"This one says, 'Blessed strength of the bear.'" Hermione read.

"Try it on." Harry encouraged and she gave him a look.

"Harry, these aren't toys you know." She admonished but couldn't deny the curiosity she felt.

"She's right... besides Susan's supposed to be Mama bear remember." Daphne joked referencing her Patronus.

"I'll try it on." Susan offered and Hermione just sighed but handed over the Jewelry. Susan placed it upon her hand and just like with the ring it adjusted itself to be snug against her skin. She then looked around and saw a cast iron skillet she could use. She walked over and picked it up and she then grabbed each end and with a bit of pressure bent the solid piece of metal.

"Incredible!" Susan marveled but quickly put the skillet down and removed the jewelry to make sure she didn't hurt anyone by accident.

"So my ancestors enchanted these things to embed the power of nature into whoever wore them? Cool." Harry said as the group continued to go through the packages. Eventually, they separated everything and there were about a Dozen carved staffs and wands well over fifty pieces of jewelry varying from necklaces to rings to armbands. Each of the pieces of jewelry had an inscription that described what the enchantment on the piece did.

There were also several books that detailed family magics or his Family history that Hermione took particular interest in. Harry promised she could read all she wanted once they got everything in order.

"So I should right Saurfang right?" Harry asked and the girls nodded. Though at the thought of writing he suddenly remembered Hedwig.

"Ah! Hedwig!" He suddenly exclaimed as he rushed out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Making his way through the halls he came upon Buckbeaks old room and opened it as soon as he did he was suddenly knocked off his feet by a black furry giant wolf. He smiled widely as he felt affection fill his bond with Demona as she nuzzled him and then he returned the feeling with interest.

"Oh, I missed you too girl!" Harry said eagerly petting her snout as she couldn't fit through the door. She then backed up enough for him to enter and he heard an excited trill as he extended his arm and from an opened window Hedwig flew down to greet him. She hooted hotly as she nibbled his ear affectionately.

"I missed you as well Hedwig!" Harry laughed as he petted his loyal owl as she hooted and ruffled her feathers against him. Suddenly his mind was bombarded with the images of trees and the sensation of movement. He chuckled.

"Yes, Demona we can go running just as soon as we can I promise," Harry said and would have to see if there were any parks or trails he and Demona could go to later. With that promise, Demona happily let out one of her monstrous yips and melted into his shadow, and a feeling of contentment flowed through him.

"Hey Hedwig, how would you like to deliver a letter for me?" He asked and the snowy owl's reply was an excited hoot as she fluttered her wings a bit. Harry smiled and went back downstairs. When he came back to the room he could feel excitement from Demona when she felt the presence of the girls.

"Demona says hi." Harry relayed her feeling and the girls smiled. Hedwig then took flight over to Hermione as she nuzzled the girl in greeting.

"Hello, Hedwig." Hermione giggled and Daphne and Susan pouted. Harry saw this and grinned as he gave a short mental command to Demona and she formed just her head to go up and nuzzle his other girlsfreinds who laughed.

"Oh hello to you too." Susan laughed scratching the Hell hound under her chin. Harry then went to write his letter to Saurfang quickly explaining that he needed his family's Heirlooms and relics to be authenticated and stored back in his vault. Once he finished he called Hedwig who hooted before extending her leg eager to deliver the letter. He quickly gave it to her and without hesitation, she took off through a window Hermione had opened for her.

"She was excited."

"She's had nothing to do for nearly a month," Daphne said as she looked over everything they had laid out. Their attention was drawn with a pop as Kreature appeared with more posts.

"These be the letters sent to you while away Young Master," Kreature said with a bow and Dobby then appeared next to him.

"Your things be unpacked Great Master Harry Potter, your's as well Miss Hermione." Hermione smiled and thanked the elf and Harry did the same with Kreature as he took the post. They both then popped away.

"So what else have you gotten?" Susan asked as Harry flipped through the letters.

"Letters from Neville and Tracey, Blaise, This one must be from the twins. This one's from Mcgonagall and this one is from your Aunt and the last one is from Jones." Harry said placing the letters on the table and opening the one from Jones first.

Hey Harry, you should be reading this when you get back so... welcome back. I didn't want to bother you while you were on your little vacay with the girls. But besides that I've been doing fine, working close with Amelia now and she's given me the position of an Unspeakable. It's largely a formality since what she actually has me doing is gathering intel and sniffing out marked and unmarked Deatheaters in the Wizengamot and the Ministry. As you may imagine not everyone is thrilled with her aggressive tactics but that's largely because most of the people I sniff out our pureblood nobles. Go fucking figure right?

Anyway, I hope you're doing well, and be sure to visit Amelia as soon as you can. If you visit her she can summon me and we can catch up. Hope to see you soon Little bro.

With lots of love, Megan Jones.

Harry smiled as he read the letter and placed it down. He then pulled out the letters of Neville, Tracey, and Blaise. They all were largely similar telling him of the excursions they were doing during the summer months. Neville got a new wand which in his words was totally wicked. Tracey was largely the same talking about her time with Neville and that he would be so surprised when he got back to Hogwarts. Then there were the twins who had cordially invited him to a joke shop they had opened up. He smiled at that, the twins had talked about opening something like that since his second year. When the Ministry had given him his winnings from the tournament Harry had decided to give the money to the twins. He didn't need it himself and the twins had been good friends. It was also a form of thanks for giving him the Maurader's maps as well.

Blaise's letter surprised him as he stated how he had gone and invited Luna to attend the Balls and Gatherings his mother had dragged him to. While Blaise didn't dislike these gatherings he found that his mother was quite obsessed with them to the point where it got old fast. Luna was a godsend in his eyes as she alleviated much of his boredom and weariness from them. It surprised Harry since he remembered that Luna had told him she would be spending the summer with her father.

Blaise also made it a point to explain that Voldemort's return wasn't quite making the rounds yet. People in Europe knew of course but they didn't pay it much mind seeing as his crusade never left England the first time around. Despite his near victory last time.

That annoyed Harry a bit but he couldn't fault the other nations. For all intents and purposes, this wasn't their problem, until such a time that Voldemort's ambitions bled outside the UK or broke the Statute of Secrecy the rest of the world would just sit and wait.

Then he opened the Letter from Amelia.

My young Lord Harry Potter, Heir to House Potter and House Black.

I hope this letter finds you well, you should know that, unfortunately, I am making little headway with the ICW. Despite Sebastian's support for our cause and his sympathy for our plight he now has to worry about world affairs. He is hearing my concerns and making them known. So far America, Japan, and Africa have supported sending aid to the UK to face Voldemort. America surprised me, seeing how independent they are but I will not shirk any aid. However, the main issue is that it has not yet become an open war. As it stands now the plight against Voldemort is a purely civil one. Until Voldemort makes his moves and starts openly attacking people and muggles alike, I fear that this stalemate in the ICW will continue.

However, I do not bare only ill news, as the King of the Goblin Nation, Galakahn, has agreed to meet with me to discuss the current situation. As such I would be remiss to not invite both you and your Godfather Lord Sirius Black of House Black to such a meeting. Your family has a history of good relations with the Goblins and Lord Black comes from a very ancient family but will show the goblins respect.

My hope is to show good faith in both a historical sense of keeping good ties such as with your family and showing a willingness to change and work with the goblins with Lord Black. Please come to visit me at your earliest convenience with your Godfather, The king has graciously allowed me a month's time to gather an entourage for this meeting. With you both scheduled to be returning at the end of July with a week until August, I must implore your haste in this matter.

I realize how tight this schedule is but the Goblins were unwavering in this matter. Also, I have asked Lord Greengrass and Ser Kingsley Shaklebolt to join us. Lord Greengrass, you have not yet had the pleasure to meet as I understand, and neither have you met Ser Shaklebolt. Shaklebolt is our new head of the DMLE while I take the duties of Minister and Lord Greengrass I have appointed as my Senior Undersecretary. I await your arrival.

Minister Of Magic, Lady Amelia Bones.

Harry took all that in and sighed, her letter just affirmed what he learned from Blaise. And with this context it made even more sense, this was a civil war technically and until Voldemort did something that warranted a response from the rest of the magical world then it would remain a UK issue. Maybe even a purely British issue, it was annoying but understandable.

Another thing that jumped out at him was that comment about America, seeing how he spent a bit of time in Hawaii which was a state of America and had a few Magical villages there as well. But no matter where they went not a single Wizard or Witch recognized him, or Sirius. One time he even dropped the name Voldemort brazenly during a conversation, not a whisper just in casual passing. No one even batted an eye.

It was a bit of a shock to see just how disconnected they all were from the problems of Europe. Daphne had explained that it wasn't always like that. However, after Grindelwald did his rampage and further escaped back to Europe in 1927 that all changed. People were still allowed to come here but they were never allowed to see any major magical settlements and any business that needed to be done with the American ministry was always done at an embassy.

The only thing that managed to leak out was that America did a complete change with certain things in their culture. Such as intermingling with Muggles, and inviting magical beings such as goblins and even centaurs to positions of power. Also if the rumor was to be believed they did away with any form of blood purity. Though this was all just rumor and until someone was allowed in to verify that is what it shall remain as. After all, there was also a rumor about America taming their national Dragons and riding them in the military, but after facing a Dragon himself Harry found that very hard to believe.

He took a deep breath and his girlfriends looked at him curiously.

"Something wrong?" Hermione asked and Harry shook his head.

"Not really, here take a look," Harry said handing the letter from Amelia to her. She read it and had the same disappointing face he did at parts.

"Well, at least Mister Delacour isn't dismissing us. And the Goblin meeting is very promising." Hermione said as she let Daphne and Susan read it as well and both came to the same conclusion.

"I should go grab Sirius, no point in making Amelia wait," Harry said.

"Are you sure? We've only just got back after all." Susan said and Harry nodded.

"Yeah I'm sure, it's like we said, we're back now which means it is time to get to work." The girls nodded.

"Then I should get back home and see my parents. They'll probably want all the details and to know I'm back safe." Hermione said and Harry smiled at her.

"I should do that too, make sure my sister hasn't been too much of a nightmare," Daphne said and both she and Hermione kissed Harry before taking off. Hermione with Dobby and Daphne took the Floo.

"I'll go with you if that's alright?" Susan asked and Harry kissed her.

"It's always alright." He said and then made his way up the stairs, he once again marveled at the house's transformation. It was still fairly dark in tone and color but now it didn't seem suffocating but rather elegant. Making his way to the study he knocked a couple of times before hearing Sirius invite him in.

"Harry, everything alright?" Sirius asked and Harry glanced over to the Portrait of Arcturus on the wall staring at him with a cold calculating gaze.

"Yeah, but I got a letter from Amelia. We need to go meet her."

"Right now?"

"The sooner the better." Sirius nodded and stood before Arcturus spoke.

"Hold, I wish to speak with you Young Lord Potter," Arcturus said and Sirius looked between the two. Harry simply strode forward as confidently as he could.

"Yes, Lord Black?" Harry asked being sure to address him by his proper title. If that pleased Arcturus, he didn't show it.

"I understand that you have yet to take up your family seat in the Wizengamot. Any particular reason?"

"While I am sure my Godfather has explained this to the best of his ability I assure you that it is not the whole picture. Not that he withheld information from you willingly. The situation is... quite delicate." Harry said and that felt like an understatement.

"You do understand that the longer you wait less effective you will be. How many decisions are being made right now that without your family's votes you have no say in? You are a part of the goings on in this world of ours even if you don't like it." Arcturus said and Sirius noticed the tone he was using. It was the same he used when talking to him as a child whenever Sirius shucked his duties as an Heir.

"I understand that My Lord, and I would like nothing more than to take up my proper title as the Proper Heir to the Potter family and named Heir of House Black. But there is more to it than just that, things that I cannot divulge until I take up my place. I can say that it is no small thing that will occur. And by all accounts, I would be rattling the cage quite violently." Harry explained as best he could and Arcturus nodded slowly.

"So in other words, your afraid of what the rest of the world will see you as? Bah!" Arcturus exclaimed with a roll of his eyes.

"Well, to be fair My Lord it is a bit more complicated than that."

"Remember who you are talking to Young Potter, I come from a family steeped in Dark magic and who people will whisper about in closed rooms. If I kept count of how many times someone tried to kill me I would have well over a hundred since I became lord and even before. I know what a name can carry and the challenges it will create."

"However, I didn't falter under the weight of my name or my family's History. I became respected and I fought in the great war alongside your grandfather. You already come from a place of light, the Potters. You have the fame of being the Boy-who-lived and now even the title of Immortal. You have faced this snake coward many times that the public knows of and survived. I started with a shadow you do not have that. Whatever this thing is that has you shaking in your boots I doubt that it will be as bad as you think."

'you have no Idea.' Harry thought as he looked over to his Godfather he held the same look in his eyes. Though perhaps Arcturus had a point, the longer he waited the less ability he will have. He already spent his entire life as a pawn to Dumbledore and he would be damned if things were happening around him that he had no control over again.

"I hear your words My Lord, and I shall consider them highly. If that is all I must express that my Godfather and I must meet the Minister with haste." Harry said with a slight bow.

"Go then," Arcturus said with a nod to Sirius who bowed like Harry and the pair left.

"I get the feeling if He knew about the whole Grindelwald name then he wouldn't be pushing you so much," Sirius said and Harry agreed.

"I know, but he does have a point, how much longer can I afford to wait? I might not be able to sit on the Wizengamot until I am of age but I can give you more ammunition by at least securing my votes."

"That's true, but Grindelwald was a totally different beast than Voldemort ever was. And unlike Voldemort Grindelwald's mad crusade crashed through nearly the whole world."

"Yes, though no matter what it's always going to be bad. I have to think about it." Sirius nodded.

"I know Pup, at the end of the day the only person that can put that ring on your finger is you." Harry nodded at that and felt around his pocket for that familiar warm silver. He carried it everywhere now, not that it ever left his person thanks to the enchantments. And every day it felt like it was getting heavier.

"Everything alright?" Susan asked standing next to the Floo.

"Yeah, let's go," Harry said and she smiled.

"I called ahead Aunty is expecting us." Harry thanked her and with a quick flash of green flames, the trio headed through, and just like any other time Sirius and Susan went through first while immediately stepping to the side as Harry came sliding out belly down. Harry groaned as he just picked himself up cursing the stupid Floo network.

"Well, it seems Susan wasn't exaggerating about you and Magical transportation," Amelia said behind her Minister's desk with an amused smile. Harry was going to respond before he heard uncontrollable snickering behind him. He turned and saw an Unspeakable dressed in black robes and wearing a half-mask that resembled an owl. Remembering his letter from jones it was easy to connect the dots.

"Well, that's no way to behave in front of a young heir like myself. Don't you agree madam Unspeakable?" Harry said challengingly. The Unspeakable just smirked and stepped up to Harry staring him down even though the mask hid her eyes.

"I think I'll behave however I wish. You're just a little heir after all, not even a proper lord. You should also remember that you are talking to an Unspeakable, we're kind of a big deal around here." She said and for a moment the pair just stared each other down before they burst out laughing and came in for an embrace.

"It's good to see you, Harry!" Jones said as she flipped up her hood and took off her mask. Harry blanched a bit.

"No mask back on, if finally made your face bearable." Jones scowled and grabbed Harry in a quick headlock and proceeded to give him a nuggie just how he liked.

"Oh, you're so funny!" Jones said giving a good rub before letting him go.

"Agent Jones please," Amelia said but couldn't hide her amusement. Jones just smiled and laughed.

"Sorry, Little bros they drive us crazy," Jones said.

"Right, thank you, Sirius, Harry for coming to see me. I know it might not be pleasant to jump right into it after you just arrived but there is not much I can do."

"That's alright Amelia, what is it you need from us?" Sirius asked.

"We are meeting with the Goblin King Galakahn, to discuss terms and hopefully get those who are convicted Deatheaters removed from having Goblins protection. Or at the very least have their assets frozen."

"Ah, never met the King myself. What's he like?"

"While I can't pronounce his Gobbledegook title, I can tell you that it translates to He who paints the mountains red with the Blood of his foes. If that helps." Amelia said and Sirius laughed nervously.

"Cool," Jones said with a grin causing Harry to roll his eyes.

"Should I head home then Aunty?" Susan asked and Amelia nodded.

"I'm afraid so, The Galakahn was very clear that I can bring no more than three other Humans to this meeting. Oh and Harry he also states that you may not bring your hell beast either." Amelia said and Harry looked down and sighed. He mentally commanded her to go to Susan. Demona made her disappointment known through their bond but followed his order.

"Can the Goblin king see us now?" Sirius asked and Amelia nodded.

"Yes, he has cleared his schedule so to speak."

"Odd, why is he being so... accommodating?"

"No doubt he hopes to gain something significant from this meeting. I don't expect him to agree to this with nothing to demand from us." Amelia said standing and quickly walking out of her office for a moment. She returned and kissed her niece on the cheek.

"We'll talk when I come home, for now, go ahead and unpack." Susan nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Susan asked wrapping her arms around Harry and he smiled.

"Maybe you should spend the day with your aunt, only fair right? Or can you not live without me anymore." Harry asked with a cheeky grin and Susan scoffed playfully.

"Alright, you're taking way too much advice from Sirius." Susan giggled and kissed him.

"You can come over anytime, all of you," Harry said and Susan nodded before she departed for her home. He turned and saw a smirk on Jones's face.

"What?" He asked and her smirk broke into a full grin.

"You got laid didn't you?" Harry's eyes widened and looked over at Amelia for a moment.

"W-well..." He said stumbling over his words and Amelia narrowed her eyes.

"Whoo! Attaboy!" Jones cheered and Harry wanted to hide as Amelia's stare got even harder.

"Jones! Maybe not now."

"Indeed," Amelia agreed as she produced a rather large metal cross from her desk with four handles on it. "This will Portkey us to Gringotts where we will be received by His Majesties Royal Guard. I would advise that you all behave yourselves." Amelia said as she held out the Portkey, his last statement directed towards Jones and Sirius who just nodded.

Once they were all holding the Portkey it vibrated before they were suddenly yanked away. It was a quick teleport but still, while the others were standing Harry was flat on his back.

"I hate these things," Harry mumbled as she stood up with an amused laugh from Jones. Then he took a look around and his eyes widened as did the rest of the groups once they took notice of their surroundings. They were in a very impressive-looking cathedral-like room. With walls carved from the stone itself, they appeared to be something like intricate geometrical shapes that moved towards the ceiling furthering the pattern in a circular way to a single large white crystal that illuminated the room.

The light glinted against the metallic sheen that outlines the carving which accentuated the pattern's design making it seem deeper than it was. The group's attention was brought to the lone door that stood easily twelve feet into the air when it swung open. A well-dressed goblin dressed in some form of formal garment that doubled as ceremonial armor.

"So, the great Minister of Magic in Britain graces us with her presence finally. We were beginning to wonder if you spoke of not but false promises and empty wishes." The well-dressed Goblin sneered his teeth bared slightly. The group kept their cool faces and Amelia bowed her head slightly.

"A thousand apologies good Goblin, I swear unto you that I wished not to test the King's great patience. However, I had to wait for the members of my entourage to return from across the seas. I would be remiss if I did not bring the best people to meet his Majesty." Amelia said and the Goblin still scowled but stopped bearing his teeth.

"Save us your flowery language, A detachment of our Kingsguard will receive you shortly. I shall inform his Majesty of your arrival, and pray his great patience has not run its course." The goblin said before turning on his heel revealing to the group a symbol upon a cloak he wore. A symbol that resembled that of a winged boar of a sort.

The group looked at each other and Amelia sighed.

"This is off to a smashing start." She groaned.

"If I knew we could've come home sooner," Harry said sympathetically.

"No, I knew you would not return for some time but I wanted to let the Goblin King make this meeting. Be courteous so to speak."

"Well no point in crying over it now, the meeting hasn't even started truly so don't treat it like a failure just yet," Jones said and Amelia gave her a small smile in thanks. It was a few minutes before the sound of marching could be heard and when the doors swung open the group was met with the sight of a dozen Goblins.

Each Goblin was dressed in rather sharp-looking black armor details with silver geometric designs and bore a red crest upon their chests. The crest resembled nothing that Harry recognized. It was some sort of beast with a pair of rugged-shaped horns jutting out from its head like a unicorn but not nearly as graceful. It also had a saber-like tusk and was surrounded by a circle of runes that Harry didn't recognize.

"Minister of Magic we are here to escort you to his Majesties court." The head Goblin stated dressed in the same black armor only he had a cloak of red over his shoulder. The other Goblin knights marched quickly around the group circling them. Without another word, the Head Goblin turned and began to walk and the group quickly followed him.

Along the way, Harry saw how the halls they walked were so intricately carved to look built, and yet they had parts of the stone untouched so it came together in this meld of Goblin-made architecture and the naturally formed stone.

Though there were no break off's in the Hall. It was just Narrow and singular not leading anywhere but what Harry guessed would be the courtroom and the Cathedral like room they were received in. It took them a few minutes to reach the end upon which they were met by a set of stone doors like the last ones.

Two Goblin soldiers broke formation to open the doors allowing the group passage. Again they were shocked, Harry couldn't help but compare Gringotts to this place. Gringotts was grand and he felt bad for even walking on the flawless marble floors of the Goblin bank sometimes. This put it all to shame, whereas Gringotts had some familiarity with him, this court was seemingly pulled straight from the highest fantasy novel.

For one thing, the floor of the court was a smooth polished surface with what appeared to be a mix of some marble-like jade and gleaming marble sapphire material. Both were intricately woven in an unknowable pattern. As if the substance was once liquid like an ocean and then frozen in whatever state it appeared before it was carved.

That same mixed mineral material was also formed into eight great pillars that reached up to the ceiling which itself was easily thirty feet high. The pillars kept with the strong geometric design with gold inlay added to it to form an ornate sharp design. The same design as the Goblin's armor.

The ceiling was just as breathtaking as the floor. Above their heads was natural dark stone but it was what lay within the stone that drew their breaths away. Thousands upon thousands of crystals jutting out from the ceiling each connected to the other by veins of similar crystal material which was light blue in color and gave off a similar light that illuminated the room. The veins of the ceiling stretched down the walls of the room and a section of these veins began to pool together like a river delta into a black stone carved throne lined with the same gold as the pillars and merged with the same sapphire-jade gem-like surface of the floor. At the top crest of the Throne where the crystal veins coalesced into a single point that formed a smooth half-sphere blue-white gem.

The group was shaken out of their reverence by the Goblin guard urging them forward. The room was also large, if Harry brought all the Dragons from the first task he would be able to fit all of them here comfortably and still have room. The group was led to stand in front of the stone as the Goblin guard kneeled and the Head Goblin hit his heels together, removed his helmet, and stood at attention. Harry sensing the atmosphere kneeled like the Goblins, seeing his actions the rest followed his example.

"Your Majesty, I present the Minister of Magic, Lady Amelia Bones of House Bones. Former Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and her entourage." The Goblin called out his gravelly voice echoing across the room. He then stepped aside and kneeled revealing the Goblin King.

Dressed in magnificent Golden armor in the same sharp ornate manner as the Goblin guards but far more intricate. He had a white cloak lined in the same gold and on his chest, Harry saw the same horned creature only this time it was gold and woven in the armor instead of painted on like with the Goblin guards.

Harry also took notice of the large beast that Pawed to the Kings side and lay next to the throne. It was the beast that was depicted on the Armor. A large quadruped creature that reminded Harry of some mix between a bulky Rhino and a canine. Harry could see the Muscles of the beast bulge from under its thin coat of fur even as it simply lay against the floor. Its coat was a dark burnt gold color similar to a lion's color. It also had a mand of lighter fur that started at the base of its head and stretched down to its thin tail.

It was then from the King's other side that the Goblin from before stepped forward.

"His Majesty, King Galakahn the Nameless, Lord of Gringotts, The Undermine, and of the Stoneborne. Dragonslayer, and He who paints the Mountains red with the blood of his foes! His Majesty welcomes you to the heart of the True Gringotts Kingdom, Harrowsea Hall!" The Goblin announced and stepped back. The King took a moment to regard the group and nodded toward the Goblin Captain.

He shouted something in Goblin and the contingent rose and stepped away from the group and towards the king before facing back to the group. Standing form before their king. Galakahn surveyed the group his dark black eyes looking at everyone that Amelia brought his eyes narrowed and his lips parted in a frown that showed a bit of his needle-like teeth. The King was not impressed.

"One month's time I gave you, one month to gather who wanted to represent yourself with. You spend nearly the entirety of the time I bequeathed to you and you arrive with some nameless witch, a man from a Family that has shown nothing but disrespect for my people and many others, and a child? I find myself woefully disappointed." The King sneered. Amelia stayed kneeling until Galakahn permitted them to rise.

"Your Grace, I assure you the time you gave me was not wasted. Allow me to introduce my entourage if it would please you." Amelia said and the King nodded. "This young lady here is Megan Jones and she has been instrumental in our efforts against Tom Riddle, She knows the inner workings of the houses and who is with us and who is against us. The information she acquires is always accurate and she was a large reason that I was even able to become Minister in the first place. Lord Sirius Orion Black does come from a family that has been cruel and unbecoming to your people. However, I bring him to show you how we are willing to change and our eagerness to do so. And this child is Harry Potter." At this, the Goblin King raised an Eyebrow.

"This is Harry Potter? I do not see a scar." The King stated and Harry nodded, his scar had faded quite a bit since the Horcrux was destroyed within him.

"My Scar has faded your Grace. But I am Harry Potter." Harry assured and Galakahn stared at him for a moment.

"The one who was once hailed as the Boy-Who-Lived, now The Immortal as I am told."

"Yes your Grace, Titles I did not ask for," Harry said and Galakahn scoffed.

"No one asks for a Title they earn them boy. Regardless of circumstance. But enough of this, Minister Bones we've enough frivolity, state your requests." Galakahn said returning his attention to Amelia.

"Thank you, your Grace, I would like to request your assistance for the coming war. I wish to suffocate our Enemy before they can even make their first move. To achieve this I would wish to seize any vault that belongs to a known Deatheater and freeze all the accounts associated with them."

"A steep request, you do after all understand that the Gringotts bank is not truly a part of your Ministry. We work together this is true enough but our business has always been with the individual. To break that trust is a heavy price to pay." Galakahn said and Harry knew that was true. Despite how tightly knit the finances of Wizarding Britain were with the Gringotts Bank it was still technically a separate Goblin Nation. The second you step foot in the Bank you were technically on foreign ground.

"Yes I understand but I do not expect this favor for nothing of course. I am prepared and eagerly willing to have a Goblin seated on the Wizengamot. A representative of your choice or yourself should you desire it." Amelia said and Harry could feel the shock coming not just from Sirius and Jones but also the other Goblins. This was unprecedented, to say the least.

"Is that so, and the rest of your council agrees with this?" Galakahn asked looking at the others. Sirius blinked a few times but nodded.

"Yes I do, I agree with Minister Bones."

"As do I." Jones agreed quickly then Galakahn looked to Harry.

"I believe it is the right thing to do, my family has always had good relations with your people and you are very important to our society here in Britain. I shudder to think what would happen if we lost your capable assistance with our finances." Harry stated using his family's past to increase the validity of his statement. Galakahn smirked his fangs not showing.

"I do remember your grandfather, a great Wizard and even greater man. During the terror of Grindelwald when other Dark houses sought to take advantage of his crusade and try to suppress my kind, he was at the front fighting against it. If not for him I would have waged war upon your people for their insolence." Galakahn said and Harry nodded.

"This is no small thing you are offering Minister, I know that. But I also see the implications. If I accepted your offer then that would mean that the Goblin Nation would have a part of the Ministry and also a share of its problems. Giving us a clear reason to acquiesce to your request to freeze and seize certain accounts and vaults. But this is also a double-edged sword for my people again. It carries the risk of sullying the reputation of the bank and Goblins as now we will no longer be an independent institution but be at the mercy of the Wizengamot and its Lords and Ladies. What is to stop your council from simply passing legislation that hinders my people even further than they already are in your society? Having a voice is not the same as having power and I do not believe that we would be treated fairly on your Wizengamot." Galakahn stated and Amelia couldn't argue that fact.

"I understand your concerns and they are more than valid, our Magical Culture has not been kind to yours. However, I propose that a treaty be created between our two peoples. One that protects your nation and its independence while also integrating yourself with our own. You will receive a vote on all things brought up within the Wizengamot and may vote how you see fit. However, any legislation that pertains to Goblins or Gringotts must first be brought to you and agreed with by you and any future Kings of Gringotts. They will still have to pass a vote but only if you agree with the legislation first. Would you find this to be an agreeable solution?" Amelia asked and it was clear what she was doing, she basically gave the King the first and final say on any legislation that even touched the Goblin nation. If the King didn't like it, it would be struck down.

"An interesting proposal, of course, this all stands to assume that you can secure my people's representation in your Wizengamot in the first place. for such a large change you would need significant sway. Despite her apparent gifts as a spy, Megan Jones has no sway in your ministry in terms of the voting power. Sirius Black has never even stepped foot in Ministry affairs, unlike his late Lord Arcturus Black. Harry Potter, despite his... accomplishments, is still just a child in your governing body's eyes. I will need more assurances than just this."

"Of course your Grace I expected nothing less which is why I have this." She said producing a roll of Parchment and holding it out. After a nod from the King, the Goblin captain retrieved the parchment and gave it to Galakahn.

"This is a document stating the terms I have put forward as well as signatures from Wizengamot members that pledge to vote in favor of the new legislation and your added seat to the Wizengamot," Amelia explained as Galakahns eyes rolled across the parchment.

"Your Wizengamot has fifty members in total Minister, I read only twenty-two signatures. Even with the additions of the Potter's vote, The Blacks and yourself. You will still be split down the middle having to bring in a deciding vote that you cannot guarantee." Galakahn said looking back up.

"Actually Your Grace, I have more than just the Potter vote," Harry said.

"Yes, I know about you being Heir to House Black however that is just the same vote as Lord Blacks."

"I am standing to inherit another additional vote after I take up my place as Lord Potter and take on my Family's ring. While I cannot vote on the Wizengamot yet I can give my vote to Sirius to act as my proxy. I also am eligible to inherit the Peverall family name which would be yet another additional vote in favor of your seat being added." Harry said recalling what he learned from his trip to Gringotts.

"Yes, but you would first have to take up the mantle as Lord Potter and legally claim the name of Peverall. But what is this other vote you speak of?"

"I, unfortunately, cannot explain that until after I take up my Family ring and become Lord Potter," Harry said his Family ring feeling heavier and heavier in his pocket and the mark on his hand feeling warm.

"Harry Potter I need more than just a mysterious unknown vote that you will not divulge and a possible claim to another. If none of you can provide a proper assurance of this coming to fruition then we are at an impasse." Galakahn said with finality. Harry understood his stance, despite how mind-numbingly borning the History of Magic class was he did remember all the times the goblins were suppressed and rebelled against the Magical society. This would be a large change in their favor that had never been seen in... well ever. But the King was not taking any chances. If this was going to happen he wanted it to be set in stone no tricks.

Harry also understood just how important this deal was, if the Goblins were allied with them then they could strike a huge financial blow to Voldemort and his followers. A starved army was a dead army after all, and despite his worry or concern, Harry could not let something as big as this fall-through. So with a thundering heart in his chest, Harry reached into his pocket and felt the magic of his family ring tingle through his fingers. He pulled it out and held it up gazing at the silver band that held his Family's crest. Sirius looked over at him and his eyes widened.

"Harry are you sure?" Sirius asked and Harry looked at his Godfather and then back at Amelia and Galakahn who were still discussing. He nodded a firm look settling on his face.

"I can't wait anymore Sirius, we need those votes and we need the Goblin's help as well," Harry said as he stepped forward to stand next to Amelia distracting both her and the King.

"Your Grace, I Harry James Potter, in witness to the Great King Galakahn of Gringotts and the Minister of Magic of Britain do take my role as Lord of House Potter and accept the roles of my other houses as well," Harry said and with a single motion, he slipped the ring onto his right-hand middle finger and could feel the power within the ring rush over him like a sudden splash of warm water running up his arm and through his body. It was then that the Sigil on his palm began to glow purple and flickers of purple flame erupted from his palm. Taking a deep breath and held up his left hand.

"I also take my role as the Lord of House Grindelwald!" Harry called out and caused both Amelia and Jones to freeze in shock and even Galakahns eyes widened in surprise. The purple flames wrapped around his hand before they coiled around his left middle finger and quickly formed into the same ring he had seen on Grindelwald's hand. The Black steel felt cool as opposed to his Family's ring's warmth. He could feel the power from both rings not fighting each other but merging within him and as he opened his eyes he looked straight into the eyes of the Goblin King.

"If my math is right your Grace that is twenty-six votes in your favor and after I claim the Peverel name, which I will, that would mean twenty-seven in your favor. Regardless of how the other members vote your people shall have a voice and protection on the Wizengamot." Harry said and Galakahn was quiet for a moment. Then he chuckled a soft yet harsh sound that quickly evolved into a full-blown literal growl-like laughter.

He then began to speak in Gobbledygook pointing at Harry and referring to his assistant who nodded at his King's words.

"Very bold of you Lord Potter! Minister Bones, if what you say is true then you have my support and I shall agree to your terms. But I still will require a few demands of my own." The King said getting Amelia's attention as she still was processing Harry's revelation.

"Of course your Grace."
