Interlude: Epilogue

Bakugo walked with my hands in my pockets, growling to himself.

Who does Deku think he is? He thought. Telling me off like that!? I'm better than him! I'm better than everyone else! He has no right to act like he's some hot stuff when he's a bigger loser than even the villains!

When did he get the confidence to even do that? He thought. After all, He stood up to him before, but he was always scared. You could see him shaking, see the fear in his eyes. This was different. Was it the villains from USJ? Was it The Undersiders? What event taught him not to be afraid?

And even freakin' weirder, why was he so upfront about looking down on him? He was never been that upfront about how he saw him before. Was it because he's not scared of Bakugo anymore? Even that doesn't explain why he hated him now. Not even indifference? Now, Bakugo thought no on should have indifference to him. Especially not Deku. That wasn't the point. The point was he shouldn't have hatred for someone he looks down on. Was there something more to it?

Not to mention, he has All Might's power! Why would he give it to him!? He was more worthy! He was the most worthy! Not to mention, he's the strongest out of their classmates. So obviously, he made the most sense! Why didn't he pick him!?

And he mentioned someone he probably learned from The Undersiders, but when he learned about her, both from Deku and Clockblocker. it intrigued him.

Finally, someone that understands what being a hero is all about. Bakugo thought. But I had to make sure. This was how.

Bakugo stood facing the prison, the place of losers and psychos. Bakugo continued his thoughts. I wondered if she was the same. But I doubt it. It was because of that Hijack guy, or whatever his name was. That was why she was here, so I think it's fine.

he walked up to the gate.

"What's your business, here?" The man with an eyepatch in the box said.

"I want to talk to one inmate."

"Which one?"

he told him which one.

The man talked to someone I couldn't see and then opened the gate. Allowing him to walk through the gate and into the prison.

I walked in. Smelled like smoke and sweat, like a boys' locker room at some crap-ass school. I saw some skinny inmate with yellow teeth talking to an older guy. I saw a big, fat inmate crying while talking to a black woman.

Bakugo walked to my seat. I had to wait for her to show up. It took much of his time, but she eventually came.

Sophia Hess.

She picked up the phone. "What do you want?"

I smiled and picked up the phone to put it to my ear. "Hello, Shadow Stalker."

Her eyes widened. She looked around to see if anyone had heard. Some people did, but they didn't not heard the whole thing, because they glanced their way and just went back to talking.

She glared at me. "How'd you know who I was?"

"I'm a hero in training. A loser told me, who learned from a hero or a villain."

"Wait," she said. "You're the guy that's replacing me?" She seethed.

"Calm down, Idiot! I'm not replacing you. I'm from Class 1-A."

Sophia made a face until her brain got to work. "Oh, I forgot about that. Field trip, right?"

Bakugo nodded.

"Glad I missed it, to be honest. I wasn't looking forward to looking after a bunch of students. I almost wished there was some hint that The Slaughterhouse 9 would show up to avoid it."

"You wouldn't have to look after me," he grinned. "I'm better than most of the pros."

"Based on what?"

He held one hand out and made sparkles.

"Explosion," she said blankly. She leaned in. "I hate explosion users."

Bakugo gritted my teeth. Then smiled. "Why? They kicked your ass?"

"THAT'S-" she stopped herself. "I don't feel particularly feel entitled to tell you."

"Fine, I don't care. I just wanted to know something."

She rolled her eyes. "What?"

"All the other heroes back in your old team didn't know jack about being a hero. It's like all the heroes back in my class, constantly talking about saving people and protecting them. Nothing about what makes a hero."

Sophia made another face. "Get to the point, kid. What really makes a hero?"

He grinned. "Winning,"

Sophia smirked for a second. "Winning?"

"Yes, always winning. Being the strongest. That's what makes a hero. I did have a phase back in junior high where I wanted to be the richest, but that was a phase, and that's irrelevant. What's relevant is being a winner and beating the losers. Winners and losers."

Sophia smirked again. "Predator and prey."

Bakugo gave her a look. "What?"

"Predator and Prey. Those who hurt people and those who get hurt."

Bakugo thought for a moment. "Maybe, almost, villains are losers and they still hurt people."

"That's the point of heroes," Sophia said. "Villains, thugs, and criminal are predators. But they're bad predators. The kind the kill other predators and do unforgivable things to them. It's our job to save them."

"Save?"

"Yes! You…save people, don't you?"

Bakugo felt a flash of rage. "NO! OF COURSE NOT! THE POINT OF BEING A HERO IS WINNING THE FIGHT NOT SAVING THE-"

Sophia shushed him. "Shut up, dipshit! Do you want everyone here to know you're a hero?"

"We don't have secret identities in Japan."

"What? Really?"

"Yes," Bakugo said. "Unless you're a corporate hero."

"Oh, well, that must suck."

"We don't need them. We're stronger than the Americans."

"Strength isn't everything. Sometimes strength isn't enough to protect you." Sophia's voice got quiet.

Bakugo made a noise. "That…that just means you have to get stronger."

"It means you have to protect the people that can't protect themselves."

"How can you call yourself a hero when you're focused on protecting people?"

"Because that's what a hero does!" Sophia said. "Don't get me wrong, I don't care about protecting everyone. I think anyone that's prey can go die in a ditch somewhere."

"Wait, anyone that's prey?"

"Yeah, why?"

That rubbed Bakugo the wrong way. It wasn't like he cared for losers! That would be weakness! But he didn't go too far in dealing with them. Hell, half the time, he didn't even pay attention to them. The only ones he was focused on was Deku and Todoroki, but even t hen he wouldn't want to theme to die. Then how would he prove himself better than them!?

He remembered the time he told Deku to jump off the school, but he was just messin' with him! He didn't expect him to do it!

"Would you…kill anyone you thought was prey?" Bakugo asked.

"Kill? No, probably not." Sophia answered. "I just wouldn't save them."

"Oh, good," Bakugo grinned. "We're too good for them."

She grinned as well. "The best."

They smiled at each other.

They liked this.

Later.

Bakugo walked to the plane, he ditched his team a while back, no one noticed his absences, or were waiting for him. Or maybe they were looking for him. He hoped not. He could look after himself just fine.

He made it to his plane and saw Deku talking to a black-haired girl. She looked familiar from the back, but he didn't recognize her face.

When he got close enough, he heard what they were talking about.

"Stay safe, Taylor." Deku said.

"Don't worry, I will," she said. "I always adapt to a situation."

"I think we actually do better fighting by the seat of our pants rather than anything else."

They both laughed at that.

What's going on here? Bakugo thought. He stood back, listening to them speak.

Taylor smiled. "I'm glad I didn't do a lot today. I didn't want to use up all my hours I'm content with."

Deku eyes widened. "You're…only content for a few hours?"

She nodded. "Two at the least, four at most. I think I'm running close to four."

"Awww, that sucks." Deku said. "Those girls that did that to you should pay. Maybe-"

"If you suggest I get revenge, I'm going to slap you on the head."

Deku laughed. "Ok, sorry about that."

Who was this girl? Bakugo thought. Her voice sounds familiar. But who is she?

Taylor blushed. "You'll stay alive too, right? I would love to talk more with you about heroes and drawing."

"Yeah, we could trade more frustration about drawing eyes."

"That'd be nice. It's too bad you like drawing hands. We could've bonded over that as well." Taylor said.

"Don't worry, young padawan," Deku said. "We will get along over our mutual hatred of noses."

Taylor shoved him. "Shut up."

Deku smiled. "Fine, but don't worry, I'll stay safe. I have All Might's power after all."

Bakugo's eyes widened.

Deku activated his power.

"Wow, you have lighting around your arm when you activate your power."

"Wow," Deku said. "I guess I do."

Taylor smiled. "My little lightning-"

"HEY!" Bakugo said.

Deku and Taylor whipped their heads around to look at Bakugo.

"Kacchan!" Deku said. "How-how much of that did you hear?"

"Enough," Bakugo walked towards Deku.

Taylor got in between them. "Leave him alone, Kacchan."

Bakugo gritted his teeth. "This isn't between me and you. It's between him and me!"

Deku frowned. "This isn't any of your business, Kacchan."

"You telling All Might's secret to some random girl!? That is exactly my business!"

"Our entire class knows, and they know because of you."

Bakugo was taken back. He was blaming me, for what the villains did!?

"Someone else knowing the secret isn't going to make a difference." He said.

"And why does she know?" Bakugo growled.

"Skitter told me." Taylor said.

Bakugo looked at Taylor.

Taylor looked pensively. Then said. "I work for Skitter."

"Really?" Bakugo growled again.

"But she already knows, so no harm done."

Bakugo glared at her. He knew what was the truth, but he didn't have anything to stand on. "Fine, come on nerd, we gotta go to our plane."

Deku rolled his eyes. "Ok, fine." They walked away.

"Bye Deku!" Taylor said.

Deku smiled. "Bye Taylor."

Bakugo simply scoffed.

They made it on the plane.

"Daaaaaaammmmmnn, Midoriya's got game!" Kaminari said.

Deku yelped. "You all saw that?"

"Of course we did, Midoriya," Iida said. "You were right next to the plane."

"She's cute, Deku!" Uraraka said. "What's her name?"

"Ummmm…Taylor."

"You could do better," Mineta said. "She's got no meat on her."

"Shut up, Mineta!" Deku said.

"Yeah, no one wants to hear your delusion, Grape boy," Mina said. "I think she looks awesome, Midoriya."

Deku scratched the back of his head. "Thanks, I-"

Bakugo didn't listen. He didn't particularly care for it.

He was paying attention to something else.

There was no way that it was a coincidence, black hair, knows All Might's secret, cares about Deku!?

It was obvious…

Deku was dating a supervillain.

Author Notes: Here it is! The last chapter. Remember, this is a part of a bigger world that you're free to play with. Have fun playing with it! Go wild!

Also, I fell the need to clarify something You're free to make RWBY, Worm and MHA fanfiction in this world. But they can't crossover together. for...reasons...

I also have another announcement! Here it is!

...

The building was on fucking fire, and it was totally my fault. What? You got a problem with that, shit-fucker?

I'm awesome. I'm great. I'm better than everyone else. I have the right to treat people however I want.

It's not like it's my fault I'm better than you. I'm just talented, hard-working, and absolutely competent. I'm the best. I can draw, I can hoverboard, I can dance, I can make tech, I can fight. I can do basically anything. I even have superpowers! Pretty awesome, right? I have the whole Spider-Man package: Super-Strength, Super-Speed, Super-Durability, and Super-Regeneration.

Well, Spider-Man just has enhanced healing. I think. I can't bother remembering everything about the 50 million comic characters. Or anyone, really. Why would I? I'm more interesting than everyone else. Everyone should attempt to figure out things about me! Like, my favorite comics are those from The Golden Age, or my favorite foods are apples, or the fact that won my science fair 5 years in a row. These are all more extraordinary things than everyone else. Why wouldn't someone be obsessed with me? It's me.

That reminds me of something, a time when I-

"Ultimate!" My A.I, Matilda, said. "Are you going to save those people or not?"

Oh right. My time is due!

...

That's right, my web novel is out over on TheUltimateWriting.c0m! I will upload it on the same schedule as Lightning Bug. Tuesdays and Saturdays. So keep checking in my site for that. I'll also be uploading my scripts for Ultimate.

That's all I had to say. This is Super Ultimate Number One, signing out. Peace!
