Slight spoilers for the future for "Scarlet Spider and Speedster". Depending on how you look at it. It's not necessarily needed to read if you want to understand the story, but it gives a bit more history to E2 soon to be explored. It's a one-off part, but it does explain some motivations and actions in the future.

Earth-2 (SSaS)

Peter Parker was laying down on his bed in tiredness after his late-night fight with an enemy known as the Rhino. He just wanted to sleep and relax after that fight and let his body heal. His bedroom was more of a mess than his Main Earth counterpart's, with sketches of future Spider-Man projects and alternative suits sprawled around the room. His hair was just slightly longer than Peter-1's, with instead of his hair being combed over, it was ruffed up and curled.

But as he was sleeping, his aunt May burst into the room and saw the shades still closed. "Come on, are you still in bed?"

"Mmm!" Peter groaned, not wanting to get out. "Five more minutes!"

"It's almost time for school, sweetie." May was sorry to say as she pulled open the shades. "It's time to get up."

Peter groaned again from the sudden light and quickly covered himself. "I don't wanna."

"Come on," May sighed as she ripped off the blankets from his bed. "Your friends are waiting for you."

Peter finally rolled and fell off of his bed. "Ow."

Hanging out in the kitchen of May's home, Peter's friends and roommates waited for him. This universe's Bobby wasn't much different than the main universe's Bobby with his style choices and hairstyle. The main difference with this Bobby is his outfit. Where Bobby on Earth-1 wears a specially designed outfit that could work as casual clothes for Bobby which hides, this Bobby wears an outfit that is a white one-piece suit with blue shelves and black gloves.

But the biggest change in the universe is the fact that there was another member of their team. In this universe, there is no team Flash. There is only Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.

The name was a work in progress.

But the final member of that team was a girl around their age named Anjelica Jones. She was a metahuman who goes by the name of Firestar. Her suit consisted of a fire yellow center, black outlines up her legs and arms, and fire-red boots and gloves. She also wore a mask over her eyes to help her see while flying was the same color as her gloves with fire-like elements around the edges. She also had long flowing fire red hair to match her suit

But as of now, she was wearing casual clothes as she wasn't planning to use her powers yet or for the foreseeable future. Not to mention that her suit can easily form around her and could even form around certain parts of her. But Bobby on the other hand was wearing the suit, expecting there to be a crime.

They were eating their breakfast and waiting for Peter to finally get up as he made his way down the stairs. "Hey."

"Look who lives," Bobby commented as he looked at his friend. "Ready to head out?"

"Yeah, let's go." Peter agreed as he grabbed his school bag.

As the three of them made it outside, all of them quickly changed into their super suits. Unlike their Earth-1 counterparts, their identities aren't really a secret in this world. In fact, they are almost like celebrities in the city. The three street-level heroes trying to do their best to look after the neighborhood.

Bobby started to use his powers to shoot a blast of ice to get to school faster through a slide. Peter immediately started to swing his way to school, wearing a similar outfit to the one that Gwen gave Peter on Earth-1. Anjelica burst into flames, allowing her suit to form around her and blast off into the skies to get to school.

Once the team of three made it to school, they had just arrived before the buses, which got a small group of people around the entrance to gather up on them. They were a diverse group when it came to adults, but when it came to people their age, it was living the good life. They have been praised for their heroics as well as their powers by their peers. But it also got a bit bad to the point that school guards had to break off the gathering.

They then made it to the halls to get ready for their class as Anjelica made her way to her locker. When she opened it up, the first thing that she saw was a collar that belonged to an old friend of hers. Looking it over, she caressed the collar and looked at the nametag: Ms. Lion. Ms. Lion was a small white dog who was owned by Anjelica Jones before she recently passed away.

Peter made his way over and noticed what she was looking at and the tears in her eyes. Placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, she wasn't shocked when she looked back and noticed him. She instead ended up smiling and looked over at him.

"Hey." Anjelica greeted her boyfriend.

Yep, in this version of reality, no Mary Jane Watson was moving in next door, there was no Gwen Stacy. Liz Allen was still in a relationship, but this time it was with Flash Thompson. Peter and Anjelica had gotten close due to their tragic pasts and super-powered abilities.

"You okay?" Peter was worried for her.

"Yeah, it's just..." Anjelica looked down at the collar and caressed it. "It's still fresh."

"Hmm." Peter had to agree with her, as everyone in the household loved and cared for Ms. Lion. "We all miss her. If you wanna talk about it..."

"You're always there," Anjelica promised she knew as she leaned in and pecked his lips. "What do you say we get to class? Then after the day is done, we go looking for Prowler?"

"Sounds like a date," Peter said, happy to have raised her spirits.

"Oh, I'm gonna need an actual date afterward," Anjelica stated to him.

The two then walked down the hall where they saw Bobby hanging out with the entire cheerleading squad. He was making signatures, taking photographs, and doing whatever they asked of him. Even taking some numbers from them, getting the super couple to roll their eyes. But they couldn't judge their friend, seeing as he has to deal with the two of them every day and might be a bit lonely due to that.

At the end of the day, they were making their way through the city, hearing the cheers and cries from the city as they were hunting for their enemy. The Prowler was an enemy that they have been dealing with since they became a team. The Prowler is a mercenary who stole a suit of armor from ARGUS, where he might have worked and is working for every villain imaginable to gain money.

That's where their problem comes in.

Recently he has been stealing small pieces of tech and some experiments from OsCorp, and that means something bad. Ever since Harry Osborn was taken down when he was revealed to be the Green Goblin, every criminal everywhere was going after them and their secrets.

They reached a warehouse just outside the city (even in the multiverse, it's a villain's best spot) where they found him hiding out. He got sloppy on his escapes, which is exactly what they were waiting for.

Peter sneaked down through a vent from the ceiling, Anjelica came in through a window, and Bobby came in through the door. The two of them looked at him as he made a loud noise opening the doorway, giving away their element of surprise.

"What? It's the Prowler. We can take this guy in our sleep." Bobby stated with a shrug. "You guys worry too much."

"I like to think that I worry just the right amount," Peter said as he looked over to Anjelica. "Do I worry too much?"

"No, as you said, just the right amount," Anjelica assured him, knowing he cares about the two and wants them to be safe. "Let's find Prowler."

And then the three of them started to split up through the environment to find where Prowler was located. With the silence, it was easy to tell he wasn't flying around as he has the subtlety of a helicopter when flying. But the weapon utility of a warhead.

Bobby was strolling through the halls of the warehouse, whistling while in his ice form to keep himself entertained. He then quickly noticed someone was walking along the same corridor as him, just behind the next stalls. He stopped whistling to keep his approach a surprise, Bobby quickly made his way over to the figure and summoned up a blast of ice to attack.

Down the warehouse, Anjelica and Peter were on opposite sides of the building when they heard what sounded like an explosion going off in the distance. The two of them worried about their friend as they wished they had a comm system to hear one another. So, they then raced in the direction where they both heard the explosion go off and were shocked to see Bobby in the current state that he was in.

Bobby was flung across the room; half of his ice armor was either melted off or shattered. When they reached him, they saw he was groaning and trying to get back up. That's when they then noticed that his left arm was shattered and detached from the rest of his body.

"Bobby!" Peter cried as he ran over, knowing his body should be able to heal and reattach his arm.

"What happened?" Anjelica asked her friend, trying to help him.

"He did." Bobby pointed downward with a groan with his only working arm.

The two of them then looked and were shocked at who they saw. It was Deathstorm. Ronnie Raymond, someone who was once a good man before he became affected by the particle accelerator like them. But he instead of using his powers for good used them to make a quick buck. Getting the attention of the villainous speedster known as Zoom.

"Hi there." Ronnie greeted the group, eyeing the two remaining heroes. "If you're looking for the Prowler, don't worry, he's not here."

Peter started to realize what this was and began to panic. "It's a trap!"

Then Anjelica quickly got up and turned around just as an icicle came flying towards her. But before it could make an impact on her face, Peter managed to grab it and they sighed in relief. Looking down the hall where it came from, they saw it came from the criminal known as Killer Frost.

"Leaving so soon?" Frost asks them, releasing some mist from her hands. "Why would you want to leave?"

"Surviving is a good motivation," Anjelica stated as she sent a blast of fire towards Killer Frost.

Just then, Firestorm powered up and blasts fire toward Anjelica. Quickly aiming his hand and blasting the fire with a mist of ice to stop it from hurting his friends, it ended up scorching more of his armor and melting his arm.

"No!" Bobby said in terror, knowing that he can't heal without his arm.

"Come on!" Peter said, knowing that they needed to escape before they were killed.

Anjelica was holding back Frost with a constant stream of fire while she was shooting a stream of ice at them. When she watched Peter carry Bobby out of the way, she stopped the stream and jumped out of the way. The stream then made a line straight for Deathstorm before he jumped out of the way.

"Where'd they go?" Deathstorm asked in anger.

But that blast of ice did end up hitting something as it knocked into a container holding a bunch of spiders. One of them survived the mist and managed to escape the cage before crawling away to freedom.

Anjelica held Bobby by the shoulder and helped Peter carry him out of the warehouse. They were becoming worried for their friend, not knowing how they were going to fix this mess they were currently in. Bobby was injured, and they were busy with that and can't keep their eyes on the enemies.

"We got to get him to a hospital," Peter told Anjelica.

"If we can even get out of here," Anjelica replied as she slipped on some water dripping from Bobby's missing armor. "Deathstorm and Frost are gonna-"

The moment she started talking, Peter's senses went off and he knew something was coming. "Watch out!" He then jumped backward and ended up getting an icicle in the chest. "Gah!"

"Peter!" Anjelica cried in terror as she grabbed him, dropping Bobby in the process. "No! Stay with me." She then placed Peter down and saw the icicle was too deep to pull out, and the cold was freezing his blood and heart. "Stay with me..."

Then the culprit of this came forward as Frost came forward and saw the angered Anjelica. "Aw, did I hurt your boyfriend?"

Anjelica then looked and saw that Peter was already gone, and Bobby was turning to water. She saw that she failed to save her friends and looked towards Frost in anger and hatred. Her entire body started to burn in anger. Literally and figuratively.

She then siphoned her entire energy and blasted it at Killer Frost, sending her flying and into the walls. But as she tried to keep herself alive, Deathstorm comes in and shot Anjelica with the fire blast, which didn't hurt from the heat, but from the hit. She was thrown across the floor as Deathstorm approached Frost.

Quickly grabbing her, he saw she needed to heal and get away from this fight. "We'll be back, Firegirl."

Then with that, Deathstorm flew off and left Anjelica there with the corpses of her friends. Crawling her way over, she held onto Peter and started to cry as she held him close. She had just lost two of her only friends. She burned with hatred and knew that she needed to tell May what happened.

Zoom and his henchmen were going to pay for what they did here.

But there was a splinter of hope in the darkness. The spider that escaped will soon make its way to Prowler where it would meet his nephew.

Miles Morales will soon become the new hope that this city, and this world, needs.
