Author's Note: Goodness gracious, I had been stuck on this chapter for so long, I am glad that I am finally done. Hey everyone, it hasn't been as long as usual. (It's been like a year since I updated this story but I have been active with others.) How is everyone doing today? I hope all is well. I have been doing a lot better compared to the past few months. I am back on my medicine and going to counseling and getting the help that I need. The meds are starting to really work and the motivation is coming back. I wrote half of this chapter in like two days, the part half was like months ago. Oops. Anyways, I hope you enjoy and see you at the bottom! I will ask your opinion about something there.

Katarina's POV
Flashback..
June 23rd, 2011
The last few hours have certainly been eventful, although lingering around the Impact Zone for the past hours has been boring. The only entertainment that I have is watching Lisa uncomfortably attempt to maintain her cool around me. There has been no news about Daisy's whereabouts and apparently no one has been able to get a hold of Maria either. Perfect. I don't need that parasitic leech back in my life, she can stay gone forever. I have been trying to think of possible locations that the brunette would have ventured off too and my mind instantly thinks about that stupid redhead. I know that things still aren't good between them if she is drinking this much. There was something about Allen's story that still continues to peak my interest, it's about Nicole wanting to pay me a visit. There shouldn't be a reason for such an unexpected visit, maybe she was going to throw empty threats my way to stay away from her little sister. I must know for certain, that's why I am willing to cooperate thus far. The main thing is figuring out who started the childish gossip on Twitter, they are playing with my favorite toy. I don't appreciate it. If I manage to solve this puzzle myself, there is no way I will be able to escape Lisa's grasp though. She's not stupid like her girlfriend. I had to endure a silent ride back to the hotel with the Black Widow. In order to prove my innocence, I agreed to allow her to search my room for any trace of Daisy. She's not going to find anything, no matter how hard she tries. Daisy isn't there. Such a shame, isn't it? They can't fathom the fact that I had no part in this matter.
Once again, I am walking in the lead toward my hotel room with the raven-haired woman staying close behind me. I wonder how long she intends to babysit me. "How long are you going to keep this game up?" Lisa had finally spoken for the first time in about ten minutes.
"I don't know what you are implying, Lisa, I am not doing anything wrong. This isn't a game, no one knows where Daisy is. Instead of being concerned about what I am supposedly doing, you should be more focused on finding Daisy like I am." I knew that I was pressing the buttons of someone that could probably kick my ass in an actual fight but she's not going to do anything. There won't be any evidence of the brunette being at my quarters. She hasn't been there for quite some time now. The only piece of her belongings that was there is now back in her possession. That bra of hers, I wonder what all she remembers about that night. She claims some, but what exactly does that mean? It was a shame that formula was a dud but no matter, I have other tricks up my sleeve. Finally, we arrived at the door to my hotel room, I want to get this over with some they will get off my ass. "Shall we get this over with? You won't find anything pertaining to Daisy in my quarters."
"I am not taking your word for anything. We will search it ourselves to see if that is the truth." I took a glance back at her to see the raven-haired Knockout staring down at her phone. It seems that Tara is getting some backup in searching my premises. No matter, it means they will get done faster. "Wait until the others show up before we enter, I can't trust that you wouldn't tamper with the evidence somehow."
"Very well then, we shall wait for the others. Perhaps we will have some sort of information to go off of by the time we are done here." I highly doubt they would actually tell me anything rather or not new information came to light. They wouldn't be that stupid, would they? Vic wouldn't be but the others might be my ticket to gaining that intel. There is a certain redhead that is concerned about her sister and sees me as a friend. That girl is my key to being able to stay close to the brunette. Although she could be used to toy with the others as well, Natasha seems pretty close to Thea. It makes the most sense, they are close in age. There is something I want to confirm, it's nothing more than a hunch but the last interaction with those two raises some questions. "Lisa, you are her friend. Where could she have possibly run off too? Natasha is worried sick about her, that's the main reason I am helping out."
Tara seemed annoyed with the mention of the little Sanders sister and crossed her arms over her chest. God, they really are so predictable. "I don't know what your plan is with Tasha but leave her out of your sick scheme. What really happened at the gym?"
"There never was a scheme, I happened to meet her at the gym while your bestie and Daisy were practicing in the ring. We shared a very small conversation while she asked me questions about the two of them. Natasha seemed a bit uncomfortable about how serious this practice match seemed, and I tried to ease her mind that they were always this way. That's whenever Daisy had shouted that Mickie didn't follow with the next spot. I didn't see what transpired but Daisy was holding the side of her face. Daisy decided to continue with the practice match but Mickie once again, didn't follow the spot correctly. Mickie decided to legitimately attack her so that's whenever I decided to step in. Natasha was scared, and Mickie didn't care about the teenager witnessing all this violence. Your best friend was still willing to fight me and continue her assault on a wounded Daisy. It was after that Natasha called out and begged Mickie to stop after climbing into the ring that stopped the whole encounter. After that, I brought both of them back to their hotel room and left them with Candice. That's all." Miss Hardcore Country is pretty much a ticking time bomb, she is much better to have as an ally. I have faked a friendship for years since I know what demons used to be under the surface. I didn't experience her wrath firsthand, but I have heard the horror stories. Why she attacked Nicole is a mystery, but there has to be something that I am missing. I wonder if the answer is as simple as her finding out about the whole Candice deal from that redheaded leech. Mickie has had an attraction to Maria for years, there has always been jealousy revolving around Daisy. Nicole managed to linger in that bitch's heart even being absent from her life for years. Mickie redeemed herself and the pair became super close. Being friends with the brunette really had some perks at the time, I bet she's happy deep down that they are fighting. I noticed that Lisa hadn't responded to my story yet and I decided to continue speaking, "You won't believe me however you can talk to Natasha. You will discover that our stories will be quite similar in nature."
"I can actually believe what you said, considering Mickie did confirm she was the culprit. I don't want to think that you are telling the truth, but I will still talk to Tasha about it." She can do whatever the hell she pleases. I am speaking nothing but facts here. The raven-haired woman seemed to study my reaction for a second before her eyes looked behind me. "You guys took forever."
"Blame your girlfriend, she sleeps like a log." A voice spoke from behind me, I recognized the voice as Tessmacher's. Great, I have to deal with these two idiots. I watched the pair of brunettes walk around me, each of them giving me a glare. I am not intimidated by you morons; I refuse to be outsmarted by you lot again. "It took me ten minutes to get her to answer the door."
"Can't help it, I had a really good workout yesterday." I don't want to know anything about you and your girlfriend's sex life. Please. They are all images I don't want. "Babe, Brooke told me everything. Has anyone found anything out?"
"No. That's why we are here. Katarina has an airtight alibi whenever it comes to the photos. It does seem odd that Daisy was willingly coming to your door, Kat. Any idea what that could be about?" I really don't like repeating myself, I have already told all of you that I haven't the slightest idea. Now I wish I would have been home; I could have prevented all this bullshit if I caught Nicole whenever she decided to visit me. Tara gestured toward the door, and I obliged with getting the keycard from my purse. Within seconds of the door opening, the other two morons stormed past me and into my hotel room.
"Must I keep repeating myself, I haven't the slightest idea as to why she would make an attempt to visit me."
She let out a scoff, obviously not satisfied with the results of her shitty interrogation methods. Who in the hell does she think I am? I am not someone that is stupid enough to foolishly change up my story on the fly. Of course, why would I whenever I am actually telling the truth. Brooke and Madison were ready to search behind every single door in this place. "There is something I am curious about. Where in the hell is Daffney in all of this?"
To be honest, I haven't the slightest idea where that lunatic has stormed off too. I don't care what she does in her free time, I quite frankly enjoy the peace and quiet. As long as Daffney assists me whenever I desire, she can do whatever she pleases. "I don't know Lisa, do I look like her babysitter?"
"You better think harder, how do I know that you didn't message her while you were with us at the gym? How do I know that you simply didn't tell her sidekick to hide all the evidence while you were keeping us occupied." I mean those are very valid points, and I am not surprised that she would be the one to ask that. There is a reason I deem her such a threat. Sometimes she asks like a complete imbecile but whenever she is serious, her intelligence shines through.
"That's the funny thing, you don't know. That could have been simple for someone like me however I have nothing to hide. I don't communicate with Daffney unless her assistance is needed. That hasn't been the case recently, because I had everything that I needed handed straight to me. Now tell me Lisa, if I was the one that leaked all of that information to Twitter, why wouldn't I have just leaked all the information that I had about the affair to the public? Why would I go for something as foolish and unbelievable as someone like AJ? We all know her sexuality, I am certain it is also public knowledge too. Believe whatever you want, I know the truth about my involvement or lack thereof." I spoke with confidence that caused the raven-haired woman to scowl; her fist clenched tightly. Her other hand reached over and quickly grabbed down on the fabric of my top once again. That caused me to smile as Lisa was debating on punching me. "I see I struck a nerve. My apologies, but I advise that you think twice about hitting me. I know that you don't care about your job, you made that crystal clear. But could you live with yourself if all that information somehow came to light to the public. Not only tarnishing Candice's reputation but also Daisy. How would you live with yourself if you ruined her life for a second time?"
"Don't stand for that, babe, she deserves a good ass kicking." I heard that annoying shorter brunette snapped back at the pair of us.
"That she does. However, she is right, it really isn't the smartest decision." She let out a loud sigh before her grip on me loosened. Vic isn't dumb enough to throw away everything again. It took her years to finally redeem herself for past actions, even if it was thanks to me. Her assisting Maria was definitely what solidified Daisy's trust in Lisa once again. "Let's just search this for any traces of Daisy."
"You can search until you are satisfied with the empty results. I will gladly stay out of the way." This is all too entertaining; however, I merely want to keep them here until they say something of benefit to me. I decided that I would leave them to whatever they desire.
"I don't like how confident she sounds." Tessmacher grumbled over to her partner in crime as I started making my way over toward my bedroom. I looked down at my phone, but I could hear footsteps behind me.
"You are free to search my room first if that's what you desire. You won't find anything here; I hardly reside in my living room. Not like you would find anything here anyways; you are simply wasting time. I had returned all of Daisy's stuff to her a couple months back whenever she had gotten free from my spell." That was mostly the truth, there was one possession that I managed to keep without any kind of protest at the time. How Daisy didn't ask for that gem back was beyond me? Not like that mattered, I looked through all of the stuff from Candice whenever she was my mindless pet. I knew about all of this for a while now but decided to execute the plan at the best time. Candice coming into the picture was the icing on the cake. Fate was bringing all the pieces I needed into my hands, and I played all the cards I had. I assume that they are going to be wanting that back if they remember long enough to say something about it.
"With the exception of Daisy's bra that you decided to randomly give back to her before a show. Also, you have her old phone which contains all the information about Candice and Daisy." It was Brooke that decided to speak up with information.
"How observant you are, it seems there is some intelligence in that hollow head of yours after all." I decided to let out a little sassy remark because I knew how easily it was to get under their skin. Tch. So predictable, it disgusts me.
"Watch your mouth." It was Madison that decided to bark at me. Remind me that I need to pretend to be terrified of someone as ridiculous as her. I am hoping that they hurry this pointless shit up so I can do my own investigation. However, I don't have the slightest idea of where Daisy could have run off too. Knowing my luck, she might decide to attempt to reconcile with that bitch of a girlfriend. I highly doubt it but if she doesn't stay here, I am not sure where else she would go. Would she go back to her place in Knoxville? Perhaps to another friend's house, beats the hell out of me.
"What will you do, hit me? Do that and all that information will become public knowledge. Your choice though. As for that bra, that was a situation that is irrelevant to this situation and doesn't need to be discussed further." These idiots wouldn't understand why I do some of the things that I do. Everything I do comes with a greater objective in mind. This way no matter what I do, they will never get ahead of me ever again. Let's poke the bear some more, I need entertainment if I am going to be playing nice with these idiots. Maybe I can suppress the urge to vomit like I had to last time, this is simply until I figure out what the hell happened here. Nicole, I wonder what the hell is going through your mind right now. It's annoying that I can only deduce different possibilities with nothing definite. "I assume that Nicole had told you both about our encounter sometime after the show. Cute. Was that why you were making that pathetic attempt to spy on me back then? You were buying her time to sneak into my hotel room so she could talk to me and attempt to get the answers she deserves. I would say 'A' for effort but you lot are as dumb as they come."
"I will be taking that phone now. Where is it?" Lisa took a couple steps closer toward me and held her hand out. It seems I have predicted correctly; it doesn't matter to me. They can have it.
"Allow me to fetch it for you, I have no further use for it." I normally keep it on my person at all times but for some reason today, I decided to keep it in the drawer by my nightstand. I opened the top drawer and left it open. I assume that they would want to check in there as well. Grabbing the phone, I walked over and placed it in the palm of her hand. I couldn't help but utter a sarcastic remark. "Here you go, are you satisfied with this supposed tiny victory?"
"If you truly want to cooperate with all of this, I suggest you shut up and let us do our thing. You aren't cleared until we figure out the truth." The Black Widow stuffed the phone in her pockets and walked over toward the nightstand like I expected her too. The phone isn't an issue, I had prepared for them to come reclaim it at some point. I already have the information transferred to a pair of flash drives; I still might be able to use something off of it. The Black Widow grabbed a hold of the only other thing in the drawer which was a phone book. I am surprised that they still even exist myself with technology being so advanced. "Where's your suitcase?" I rolled my eyes as I sarcastically gestured to the corner where my suitcases sat. "I am going through them"
"As you wish, you won't find anything that really differs from your own suitcases." This is such a huge waste of time but whatever, they are going to suspect me regardless of if I am innocent. All of this for that stupid woman.. I let out a small sigh as I sat down on my bed and watched as the raven-haired woman opened up my suitcase and continued to search through my personal belongings. They aren't going to find anything no matter what they do. My mind drifted back to something that Lisa had mentioned earlier and now it was piquing my curiosity slightly. Where in the bloody hell was Daffney after all this? That lunatic would love to be here right now and watch as they squirm trying to find any evidence about us. Hm, she isn't really my concern unless she is needed by me. That lunatic could probably sneak around and see what the other morons are up too. Although I highly doubt that Lisa would allow me to text or make any kind of phone call especially right now. Sigh. My eyes drifted over toward the door to see that both of the brunettes had made their way into my bedroom. Great.
"Babe, we checked Shannon's room as well. There is nothing that screams Daisy to me. Did you find anything here?" Madison spoke walking over to join her girlfriend while Brooke gave me a short glare before walking over toward my dresser. With all the time that we are wasting here, Daisy would definitely be long gone right now. All that I hope is that she doesn't run away to that redhead and attempt to patch things up. With knowing her past and how her mind works, there is a low probability of that being the case. She will give Maria time to cool off if that is possible now. I have never seen her that angry even with me, it was kind of exciting to see. These girls are still throwing curveballs at me even now and some of them I have known for years, that bitch being included in that lot.
"Ah ha!" Brooke exclaimed loudly as she grabbed onto something in the top drawer of my dresser. Wait, what in the bloody hell could be so happy about? That drawer mainly houses my underwear and my bras. The noise was enough to attract the attention of the self-proclaimed Queen Bee and Lisa. "You lying sack of shit, I knew that you had something of hers!" I honestly don't have any idea what she's going on about. Tessmacher pulled out a blue and black bra out of the dresser and showed it over toward me. "Why do you have Daisy's bra in here? This definitely looks like something she'd wear. So where do you have her huh?"
My hand rested against my face as I let out a loud sigh, I can't believe I am really subjecting myself to this torment. "How stupid are you? Everything in that drawer belongs solely to me." Brooke cocked her head to the side as she started going through the lingerie one by one, looking back at me every time. "If I really had Daisy, why would I have her stuff, especially her delicates out in the open like that?"
"I don't know.. You don't seem to be the type to wear sexy lingerie like this. You seem to be too vanilla." I feel like I am losing brain cells being in the same room as these two, at least Lisa can show signs of intelligence whenever it matters. Where is she coming up with the deduction that I wouldn't wear basic lingerie? Whatever. Why does it matter? Brooke was taking the time to stare at the bra and hold it up in front of me.
"Vanilla?.. Are you making up nonsense terms now?" What does that even mean? Is that some sort of sexual term? I made my way over toward the dresser as the other morons decided to look in the dresser too. Great. This is exactly what I need. How much longer do I have to deal with this?
"Boring. She's saying you are boring." Madison deadpanned, almost releasing a chuckle as I could only stare back at her.
You can't be serious right now. Me? Boring? You would be idiotic to call what transpired in the last nine months boring. I chuckled lightly and gestured over to the dresser. I really don't want to be a part of this stupid conversation any longer. "That is one thing I am certainly not; I can assure you that. Now can you kindly put them back where they belong."
"Wait, Tessie, she's right they can't be Daisy's." Madison once again opened her loudmouth. I hope it's to point out the obvious that the brunettes had stated earlier. I gave that stupid bra back to Daisy months ago, that was the whole reason for their failure of an espionage mission.
"Why's that?" The other moron decided to open her useless mouth while Tara was actually continuing her search through my dresser. At least someone here can keep her focus longer than five seconds.
"Daisy's boobs are definitely bigger than hers. Katarina has smaller tits." She pointed over to my chest as Brooke nodded her head in response.
"My chest size is of no concern to you." Says the jackass that was so insecure about her breast size that she had them injected with plastic and jacked up to their chin. I would say that my bust size is a little above average but definitely not small. Bite your tongue Katarina.. They aren't worth your time. My beauty and intellect is far superior to all of them so there is no need to get worked up by such trivial things. I thought about the same thing whenever Nicole wore my clothes that one night taunting me in my bedroom. Her mind games really intrigued me that night, it was hilarious to see her attempt to beat me in that regard. Even going as far as to kiss the corner of my lips, Daisy has always been pretty fun to play with. If only one of these idiots could do the same in her absence, there is a couple on my list that I might consider later.
"Aww is Katarina getting embarrassed?" My face felt a little hotter for a brief second, wait a second was I flustered by their idiotic remarks? No, all this is doing is making me angry and I don't need to show that any further. I can't let them realize that they successfully got under my skin for a second.
"More like annoyed. This is rather trivial."
"How do you compare? Daisy isn't here and Maria would kill me if I groped her to check." Why in the hell is your first instinct to be a perverted moron and grope another woman? Although I would love to grab some popcorn and watch that redheaded leech kick your ass. Go ahead and attempt it, I dare you.
The shorter of the brunettes shook her head no and pointed down to the raven-haired woman, who was searching through the bottom drawer of the dresser. "Daisy has a similar build to my girlfriend, and I know my girlfriend's bust size. Plus, it's not like we haven't seen each other topless before. Right babe?" Why am I actually agreeing with this imbecile? Sad to say that she is speaking the truth, especially back in OVW and WWE. If you weren't associated with the big guys, you pretty much shared a locker room. Although there was no logic behind her thoughts, just her pervy assessment about Lisa.
Tara seemed to think about what her girlfriend said for a moment, looking down at her own chest before nodding her head. "I can tell that all of these are too small to belong to Daisy. Now it's hard to access the clothing besides the lingerie since I could probably fit into a majority of this myself. It's safe to assume nothing of hers is here. Katarina seems to be telling the truth for once." See that is actually a useful observation since that was the whole reason why the three of us were suspected of being the motorcycle woman. The outfit was designed with Lisa's figure in mind, and it never had to be altered for Daisy's sake. It didn't have to be for either; our height differences are hardly an inch apart. Realistically a lot of women in this place could probably wear the same clothes as me. This is seriously wasting so much time.
"Weird. I was kind of expecting to find some whips, handcuffs or some sort of sex-torture dungeon." …What?
My hand rested on my face as I fought the urge to smash my head against the nearest wall. This is not worth all the hassle I am dealing with right now. "Bloody hell make up your mind, I thought you were saying that I was vanilla." It seems that one brain cell has finally lost what little steam that it had. Why is something so dirty with these girls? I thought that it was mainly Daisy and Christy, it makes sense they are related now that I think about it. Huh.. That was something she never told me perhaps she was clueless about it herself.
"You seem that way yes but you are a manipulative psychopath so there is that to consider. You seem too sophisticated to be a dirty girl. Here, you can have these back now." Tessmacher spoke with a hint of sass in her voice as she tossed my bra right into my face. You little hussie, how dare you insult me in such a manner! I will make sure that you get what you deserve here soon enough.
"Maybe you wouldn't be an asshole if you got laid." Why have the past few minutes of this conversation been revolving around sex?
"Pretty sure that wouldn't change a single thing about her." No, it really wouldn't considering that it hasn't been that long since.. Stopping that train of thought right there, this conversation is slowly driving me insane. Nothing is going to stop me from getting what I desire and making their lives a living hell.
Right let's see if I can finally get the idiots focused enough on the task at hand. I have answers that I desire from my favorite little puppet and being here is not helping. I need to find Nicole before the others do. I want to know the truth of why she was coming to me this morning. Candice had stated that Daisy had been drinking a lot before her departure which is something you'd think a former police officer wouldn't do. Allen did say that she rested in his room so she could have sobered up at that point. She could be far away enough in a safe spot to rest and think. Where would a place like that be? What friends would she possibly go too? Maria mentioned three names as a possibility from her phone call with Lisa earlier. Lita is the first name to come to mind since I know that they have a sisterly connection. I have no idea how to get into contact with her and there is a chance she knows about me and what I have done to her. Trish Stratus was another name that was mentioned. Rena is a name that I am unfamiliar with, that must not be a ring name. Could that be a family member of hers? Another possibility is that this Rena person is a dancer at that old club she used to work at, or maybe a former police officer. Really hard telling with her. "Anything of that nature is no concern of yours now if you are done with this nonsense maybe we could prioritize actually looking for Daisy. ..Bloody fucking morons I swear.."
"Right. We will stop embarrassing you. For now, we will pretend that you have nothing to do with Daisy's disappearance. You will forever be a suspect." Of course, I expected that to be the case. I honestly don't know where the brunette could have disappeared off too. I wish I did so I could nab her myself and rub my victory in their faces. I don't play along well with others, especially these idiots. For now, I will grit my teeth and play nice.. well as nice as someone like me can be.
"Whatever because I am tired of telling you that I am innocent." The same song and dance always happens with the ladies around here. I constantly have to repeat myself. I didn't say anything more about the matter and walked past the trio back into the living room. "Can you guys kindly leave since your investigation here is done? It yielded no results like I said it would."
"Yeah. Girls, we have no other reason to be here." It was Tara that spoke, the others seemed unsure about leaving my residence. I watched the trio of Knockouts head toward the door until the raven-haired woman halted. She turned back to face me. "Wait a second… where is that spellbook of yours?"
Out of everything that they should have tried to steal from me, now they decide to bring that up? You are showing stupidity here Lisa, even if you took it away from me.. I know many formulas from that book. I have studied it to come up with different plans and while most are duds, a few show promise. "My spellbook now, why would I have use for something like that now you know my methods? I disposed of it long ago." It seems pointless to try drugging someone with them knowing the secrets of the medicine. The last time I tried drugging Daisy, it only lasted a few hours, and I was able to separate her from Velvet. She's lucky I decided to make sure she arrived back to that whore. I didn't need anyone to be suspicious of her activities while I toyed with her cousin. That was pretty fun.
"I don't believe you.." Brooke spoke with a bit of venom in her voice. There is no way I will be intimidated by the likes of you, nor do I care about anything that leaves your slutty mouth.
"Well, you certainly would have found it since all my belongings are here." The only place that they haven't really searched was my rental car but there is hardly anything of substance there. They can waste time searching for it if they desire, it does not matter to me.
"Obviously you have it hidden somewhere." The former Slut Brigade member added onto her friend's idiotic statement.
"That is always a possibility but that is certainly not the case, I don't need methods such as that to get whatever I desire anymore. Whether you believe me or not, that's on you. Feel free to waste more time while Daisy is long gone at this point." You three had every opportunity in the world to find my spellbook but there is no way in hell I am giving you such important information. There are still many things that I would love to experiment with. The only thing I would have to be certain with would be the test subject. Daisy would be their first guess however the brunette really has her uses. I guess I will continue to observe and see what happens. It's Lisa's fault that they didn't find it, she was the one to check the nightstand. Proves my point further that they hardly use them since all I did was put a false bottom in there. What? All my precious items are down there. There was always a possibility they would search my belongings one day; I always like to be prepared. It also prevents Daffney for being a snoop because she's a wildcard in itself.
"She's right. Katarina could really be wasting our time with this nonsense." Do you even listen to yourselves? There are a million other things I would rather be doing than sitting here with you lot.
"I assure you; I have been nothing but cooperative during the investigation. You guys are the ones that are wasting precious time. If I hear anything worthwhile, I will be sure to get in contact although I am not expecting the same on my end." Majority of that has been the truth the entire time, ever since this whole situation has happened, I have been nothing but helpful to them. I am as clueless as they are and that is something I am not fond of. If any information comes to light about Nicole, I plan on telling Natasha first. That will certainly keep me in her good graces further and perhaps I will tell the others. It all depends on what that information is. I don't expect them to really communicate with me at all about anything unless it involves me directly. It's a pain.
"Of course not!" Tessmacher shouted loudly like I would be wasting my breath on someone like her. The only person that is worth having a conversation is the Black Widow. That would be someone worth having as an ally especially to see who the hell is trying to stir the drama pot. That's my job alone and you are doing a shitty job doing such. I really need to educate them.
"I will contact you." The raven haired woman spoke in a calmed tone which got both of the shorter women to snap their attention back to the former Women's Champion. That is certainly a surprising answer, I wonder what's going on in that head of hers. Way more than these other bimbos, that's for sure.
"B-babe! She doesn't need any information regarding Daisy." Ashley exclaimed dramatically.
The raven haired woman seemed to be thinking about what to say next for a moment. It baffles me that she would really be considering this. What would she have to gain from helping me? My track record doesn't have the cleanest slate. Her eyes locked onto mine as she spoke, "...She really doesn't but I would rather keep her on my side if we are dealing with someone else behind the scenes. If Katarina truly is innocent and someone else has information on us, I would prefer having someone as resourceful as her on my side. Making an enemy out of Kat right now isn't the smartest, especially with everything she knows. I don't want to ruin anyone's life because of a rash decision."
Yes, it seems that you are truly learning what power I hold over all of you. There certainly is a lot of juicy information that the public would love to know about the Knockout's Division. Granted, if I exposed all of that, they would certainly do the same to me. Best to keep all of that to myself for now. I will play along with the Black Widow's little game. Lisa, you are stupid as hell to think that I will ever get stuck in your web. I can't get manipulated, I will never be an ally of yours. "You truly are a smart woman, Lisa. Flattery does get you everywhere, you have my word that I won't expose any personal information. It wouldn't be as fun because I could simply hold it over your head for as long as I desire."
"..You..!" Ashley once again raised her voice, trying her best to intimidate me in any way possible. Madison took a few steps closer which got me to smile. Oh? Did I strike a nerve? It certainly wasn't that hard, some of these ladies are so hot headed. She thinks she is capable of protecting her girlfriend, that's adorable. Tara noticed her girlfriend's attempt to get close to me and gently grabbed a hold of her wrist, tugging her back a bit closer to her. "But Lisa-"
"Enough babe, let's leave her alone for now." She cooed, rubbing the shorter woman's shoulder as Madison let out a sigh in defeat. Please. Get out of my residence, I have had enough of this bullshit for today, for a long time for that matter. "We still need to go talk to Natasha and see if everything lines up perfectly. I still need to talk to Mickie and see what the fuck was on her mind. I feel like I know but I want to be certain.." The answer is simple, Mickie was angry about Daisy breaking her best friend's heart. That's the only logical explanation to that, right? What more could there be? There has been something about that entire encounter whenever I pointed Mickie out as the culprit that bothers me. Tara was the first one to believe my words out of the group and was the one to question Mickie about her actions. The brunette claims that it was to keep a promise to Daisy. That's simple, an overprotective bestie kicked her ass thinking it is what Maria wants. It's the second part of that statement and Lisa's reactions that made me curious. The raven haired woman seemed afraid of Mickie for that moment in time. Was that referring to back in WWE whenever they worked together to ruin Daisy's life or was it something else that I have no knowledge of?
"I will talk to Mick, LisaBoo, don't worry." I heard Tessmacher speak as she opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. That's right, she and Mickie have seemed to have gotten rather close here recently. Too close in fact, I wonder if that's another relationship that has sparked amongst the locker room. It's sickening. Perhaps that is information I could use further down the line because Brooke needs to learn her place beneath me. I will not be subjected to that torment again. I will not be bested by idiots like them again. Both of the brunettes shot me one last glare before disappearing from my sight and into the hallway. Victoria stepped into the hallway and looked back over to me. It seemed she wanted to say something but decided against it. An empty threat is the likely guess, her mood has definitely shifted from earlier. I walked closer to the door and watched the Black Widow start to walk away without a single goodbye. Ouch, I will pretend to be offended later. With the door closed and locked, I could finally breathe normally again without feeling suffocated by idiots. A small laugh escaped me while I made my way back to my bedroom. This is all too easy. My next course of action is to get a hold of my lunatic roommate and see what the hell she has been up too. I need to let Daffney know what's going on. Shannon might have some information about the situation at hand. For now, all I need to do is wait and plan my next move.
Later that evening..
It had been several hours since those three annoyances had left my hotel room. As expected, I hadn't heard a single peep about Daisy and her whereabouts. After the idiots departed my room, I managed to finally figure out what the hell Daffney was up too. She had heard about the disappearance from her eavesdropping but other than that, she has yielded no results. Such a shame, I was hoping that Shannon would give me the advantage here. I can't exactly roam around freely at the moment or I will arouse suspicion. Even if I am helpful in gathering information for that lot, I would have to have a babysitter in order to investigate. The lunatic will have no problem snooping around on her, although I can't help but wonder what exactly she has been doing this entire time. I hadn't seen her since she left this morning, not that I normally care about what she does in her free time. Most times I enjoy the peace and quiet away from her; her absence seems too odd to ignore this time though. Part of me is curious if she managed to talk to Daisy or knows more than she is letting on. Daffney has never fully secured my trust and I would rather not have to be suspicious of her right now. I will continue to observe her as well, I will dispose of her once she has outlived her usefulness.
For now, I will play along with cooperating with these morons and see what useful information I can obtain from all of this bullshit. There was a sound that caught me off guard for a moment, it was a couple quiet knocks on the door. Hm? This is certainly surprising because I can only imagine that this is going to be Lisa with some kind of information for me. I started heading over toward the door whenever I heard knocks on the door again. It caused me to hesitate for a moment, this definitely isn't one of the Knockouts. They are too loud and obnoxious but a small smile graced my lips, I knew exactly who this was. Opening the door, my suspicions were correct as those timid blue eyes lit up at the sight of me. "H-hey Katarina."
The redhead played nervously with her fingers as her eyes quickly looked to both sides of the hallway. The fact that she is alone right now means that she is doing this in secret. "Ah Natasha, what do I owe the pleasure of this surprise visit?" That was a dumb question to ask because I can only speculate that it has something to do with her older sister.
"I-is it okay if I come in? I am not suppose to be here." The teenager mumbled in a hushed tone while continuously keeping her eye out for any of the other Knockouts. What a naive little girl, she doesn't have the slightest idea about what I am capable of. This is becoming too easy and I haven't even had to put any effort toward this. I guess I could thank Mickie for being the ticking time bomb she tends to be. She made manipulating Natasha effortless. I gave her the warmest smile that I could muster up as I gestured for her to come in. The redhead flashed a big grin at me as she brushed past me into the living room. "I-I am super worried about Sissy. It's been h-hours since she left and no one has heard from her."
It has been about five hours since Candice had called Christy with the information about Daisy's departure. We were all at the gym at that point and everyone decided to split up. I wonder if Natasha has any additional information. I doubt it because I feel like she would have started with that. "I couldn't begin to imagine what you must be feeling, Tasha. To be honest, I am worried about Daisy as well." I will pry about any hidden information in due time but for now, I must keep the welcoming facade going. Time could be against me here since I am sure that those morons would be searching for her if she took too long to get home. "Would you like some tea, it is still warm and could help calm your nerves a bit?" The redhead gave me an affirmative nod as I started making my way over toward the kitchen. Her naive nature would make this too easy if I was using my same old methods but that will not be needed ever again. Plus she's a child and wouldn't provide much use to me, even I have some boundaries. Her eyes stayed glued to me as I was pouring her cup, her body language was starting to ease up as she made herself comfortable on the couch. With the cup in hand, I walked back over to join her. "Here you are, love."
"T-thank you!" She half-shouted almost excitedly as she took the cup in her hands. Natasha let out a content hum while I sat down on the opposite end of the couch. Sitting away from her in the chair might arouse suspicion so I want to avoid that if possible. "It is really g-good."
"Thank you, to be honest, I am quite surprised that you decided to pay me a visit. I assumed that others would not be fond of us having this conversation."
The redhead gave me a small shy smile as she chuckled. "W-well, they don't know that I am doing this. You can keep a s-secret, right?" I see, Natasha is snooping around on her own and without the other's knowledge. A teenager as curious as she is could be trouble for me in any other situation but I don't see her being a threat right now.
I studied her for a moment while taking a sip of my own tea. She seemed eager to know my answer to her question. I allowed a small laugh to escape me. "Haha of course, my lips are sealed." The redhead seemed ecstatic to hear my answer but this is purely to my benefit of course. Lisa could be lying to me about providing me information if they figure out what is going on. I don't see her being dumb enough to lie to my face but this is the safest option. Natasha's innocence is what will keep me on top of the game and soon lead to their downfall. "I am assuming that no one has heard anything whenever it comes to Daisy."
Her head dropped, her eyes went away from me and focused on the mug in her hands. I wonder what my favorite toy is thinking right now, she really is making her baby sister worry about her. Whenever her mind is in pieces like this, thinking logically isn't her strongest attribute. That's whenever Daisy is the most fun to play with but also the most dangerous. It's such a coin toss and I thrive on the chaos. "N-no. I was hoping that maybe you found out something."
"Sadly I have not yielded any results or information that could assist us in finding her. The others are not going to let me investigate on my own and you know that."
"Y-yeah. Thea has been adamant about me not associating with you in any regard. She said that you aren't to be trusted." The mention of the Latina caused a pink hue to appear on the redhead's cheeks as she spoke in a saddened tone. It makes sense that those two would be the closest since they are the closest in age. Rosita was also oblivious to my schemes for a long time even siding with me over the other bimbos. Daffney went and fucked that up with an assist from her 'cousin'. No matter, she never really mattered to me, it was mainly to keep Shannon on my side.
Her eyes are showing me a bit of uncertainty behind them. I wonder how she truly feels about the situation at hand. Has her opinion about me changed at all? Has the redhead been swayed in any way? I decided that I wanted to hear what Natasha thought about me. This way I can have an answer that wouldn't be swayed by others words in her ears. "Is it because you aren't believing what the others are telling you? I am curious to hear what is going through your mind."
Natasha took another sip of her tea and placed the mug gently on the coffee table in front of her. Her body shifted and she turned to face me. She seemed to be thinking carefully about her words. "Well.. I-I don't want to believe that you are a bad person.." Tasha paused for a moment as I waited for her to continue. The fake smile I had plastered on my face remains unchanged. I don't want my emotions to possibly change the outcome of her words. "They see you as some kind of monster but I see that you care about my sister a lot.. That fact alone proves that you aren't a monster, right?" That's cute, she really thinks that I care about Daisy from the few actions that I have done. Perfect. She really is so naive. The blue eyed girl gave me a wide smile, her hand gently placed itself on my shoulder. If this was anyone else, I would have slapped it away instantly. "I-I really think that you are a good person, despite how much the girls dislike you."
My head turned slightly to look at the hand on my shoulder, she continued to give me the biggest of smiles. I don't need to question the truth behind her words, it makes me sick for her to think so positively of me. I don't care about any of these girls but the facade must continue I suppose. "You certainly have a point there, a monster wouldn't have protected Daisy from Mickie and her unjustified actions. The others and I will never see eye to eye, your sister will never see me as a friend. We all share a bond being in this business together and the connection does run deeper than that. That is why I am doing what I must to assist you."
"The look in your eyes tells me that you are telling the truth and I don't have to worry about anything. I-I wish the others could see that as well." What is it about my eyes that is telling her all of this? I haven't been completely truthful with the young girl since I met her. She is merely a stepping stone for my goals but this innocence, there is something about it that makes me nauseous. Natasha removed her hand from my shoulder and went back to sipping her tea, it seems knowing 'the truth' has settled her nerves some. I don't think it's smart to keep her occupied here much longer, the last thing I need is for them to start looking for her if she takes too long. I also don't want to arouse suspicion by shooing her away either. I want some peace and quiet, today has been nothing but nonsense.
"Nothing can be done about that for now, perhaps in due time but that is not my priority. I know this doesn't ease matters much but even if we don't hear from Daisy today, I don't think we need worry about your sister." I know good and well that the brunette is more than capable of handling herself. She's as stubborn as they come, her overpowering my spells multiple times is proof of that alone. Maria's presence influenced that but she is decently strong without that redhead fueling her.
"...Why's that? I can't help but not worry about her." She asked skeptically, giving me a confused look.
"You are such a gentle soul and I expect nothing less." The compassion and the kindness is very off putting. It's weird to think that Natasha is related to both Daisy and Christy. Continuing to gain her trust is my safest bet until they decide to unload everything that has happened here to her. They made this mistake with Thea and now they are doing it with Natasha; it's pretty much because she is a child. She's smart though, I am sure that she is suspicious of what's going on around here. "With everything going on, Daisy probably went to a friend's house away from here to cool off. Although I don't agree with her keeping you in the dark about it, she isn't thinking clearly. She's strong, so she wouldn't be in any kind of trouble. If anything, I would worry more about whoever she considers a threat. She was a police officer after all. I am sure that we will hear from her at some point tomorrow and all will be well again."
Natasha seemed unsure for a second but then nodded her head in understanding. It seemed that my words had eased her so more. I am hoping that scenario was likely the case, it seems the most likely besides her going to visit family or something of the sort. "Katarina, t-thank you. That does make me feel a little better, I knew that coming here was the right thing to do. I-I needed to clear my head."
The redhead isn't going to provide me with useful information right now so I no longer have a use for her to be here. "I am happy to assist however possible but sadly I think it would be smart if you head back. Don't want Candice to be suspicious if Thea messaged her asking if you made it back yet."
Natasha made an 'o' shape with her mouth as she glanced down at her phone, presumably to check the clock. I am not sure how long she has been here but I would guess at least fifteen minutes. "Y-yeah, thank you for the tea also. It was really good." I stood up from my seat, grabbing both of our mugs and started making my way over toward the kitchen. For now, I placed them on the counter as the shorter redhead followed behind me.
"Your kind words are most appreciated, if I find any information, I will be sure to relay it to you." As much as I would love to keep things to myself, this is the best course of action right now. It's the only way I will get useful information about things as well. Sharing is not my strong suite but once I figure out what's going on, it won't be necessary. That twitter mastermind is being a thorn in my side and doing a shitty job. Sigh. I will figure them out soon enough too.
I opened the door as the redhead turned to face me, her smile wide as per usual. "I will do the same, I will see you around, Kat. T-thanks again." Once again, this little annoyance decided to wrap her arms around me in a quick embrace. I didn't exactly react to the sudden display of affection, my first thought was to shove her away. My hand reached up and patted her on the head a few times as she looked up at me. She seemed a little embarrassed at her actions but I attempted to smile to ease her worries.
"See you later Tasha." Finally some goddamn peace and quiet, that is until Daffney comes home and bores me until one of us passes out.
Back in the present day..
It wasn't even a full twenty four hours later whenever I was contacted by the tiny redhead about her sister's whereabouts. Apparently she had driven all the way up to North Carolina to stay with a friend from her WWE days. It wasn't something that I completely ruled out but now knowing that, everything we did was completely pointless. I was right, she was long gone while they were searching my stuff. Lisa kept to her word and told me herself later that same day, I played clueless of course. Daisy had returned home Wednesday afternoon and I hadn't really seen her. Not that I am looking or anything but I am still curious as to why she was visiting me that morning. I will find out eventually but for now, I will keep my distance and observe.
The show had just started as I made my way through the noisy Impact Zone, I didn't want to be here. I wasn't scheduled to appear tonight anyways but of course, I have to be here every week. That in itself is a blessing but also a curse. I opened the door to my locker room and my eyes locked on to a familiar face. "Oi, there you are, KittyKat!" The lunatic shouted as I walked into the room with a small sigh leaving me. There goes my peace and quiet for the show tonight. Daffney left the hotel room earlier this afternoon and I haven't heard a peep out of her since. That is really odd, perhaps I am overthinking things but normally she would be texting me any kind of information no matter how small. "Best friend, don't ignore me like that. It isn't nice."
"I was frankly enjoying my peace and quiet, it was refreshing to be able to think in peace." The tone I spoke in was almost a teasing tone as I made myself comfortable on the sofa so I could watch the show. Daffney surprisingly remained in her spot in the chair; normally she's trying to get in my personal space and annoy the fuck out of me. "You have been quiet today as well Shannon, I take it you have nothing to report."
"All I have is that Daisy and Mickie had a brief conversation but I couldn't hear it over the meatheads practicing in the gym. It didn't seem like a hostile conversation considering what you told me happened at the gym. Other than that, I got nothing." Something doesn't seem right here but I can't figure out what it is. Daffney hasn't spoken with a single accent since her greeting, there aren't any crazy movements with her hands either. She seems almost serious which I don't think I have witnessed in a while. "Tell me Win, do ya have any crazy schemes cooking yet?"
The question almost caught me off guard, she crossed her legs and waited patiently for an answer. Why is she asking me something like that so randomly? I don't understand this woman. Is she concerned that I would betray her or make any sudden moves without her knowledge? As much as I would want too, I need her assistance for now. If things go south, I can rely on this lunatic to take the fall. With a huff, I shook my head side to side. "I wish that was the case, the girls are on my ass for that stupid Twitter thing. There are several things I am considering but I am waiting for now."
Daffney changed positions in the chair, now in a more relaxed manner. She stretched her legs off the right side of the chair and laughed slightly. "I getcha, the Twitter thing was only meant to buy ya a distraction."
Buy me a distraction? Shannon knew about the whole Twitter thing this entire time but that's whenever it hit me. It was so obvious the entire time and the others didn't figure it out either. I should have known, it seems my suspicions were correct. It irritates me to no end knowing that Daffney is so carelessly moving without discussing things over with me first. Do I have to consider the possibility of her going rogue? Not sure but Katarina, keep a levelhead. "I see, you were the one stirring the pot in order to make sure that my alibi was airtight. It worked out I suppose, considering that Daisy's precious little sister trusts me wholeheartedly now. I do however wish we would have conversed about it first since it was easy to deduce as a hoax."
"Twas the point, if I had made it more believable then it would have been more suspicious." She stated nonchalantly with a shrug of her shoulders. It looks like anyone with a camera phone with basic knowledge of the pair took those pictures. Someone that even knows a fraction about Nicole wouldn't associate her with dating guys. She had that on-screen relationship with Orton but other than that, nothing. Is there another reason she would do something as stupid as this? Was this really an attempt to distract the others? I can't be certain yet, it has been annoying for me to deal with the Knockouts but other perks have shown itself.
"You have a valid point, it is appreciated, Daffney. You never cease to surprise me."
"It's what bestie's are for." Whatever makes this lunatic sleep easier at night, I will never consider this woman more than an acquaintance of mine. We simply work at the same place and she loves to cause chaos. Common interest doesn't always result in friendship. I decided to stop the conversation there. The only thing that left her mouth that had any use was the whole Twitter thing. I know the mastermind and it's not going to leave my lips. I am going to thrive on the fact that I know what they don't. I can play stupid in order to annoy them further. While watching the show there was something odd that I kept noticing. Daffney was acting weirder than usual and that was saying something. She kept staring at me and I pretended not to notice for the most part. I don't understand what her deal is today but for now, I will ignore it.
The show had nothing really attention grabbing for the first hour and some odd minutes, it seemed that they forgot about the entire Knockout's division this week. Not shocking, but at least I don't have to deal with them or that female Jarrett. She's been a thorn in my side as well but she seems to have a legitimate dislike for Daisy as well. It's odd but I don't care as long as she stays out of my way. 'Queen of the Mountain'.. Ha, don't make me laugh, you are nothing compared to me. It was at that moment that one of those Knockouts popped up on my screen, it was that redheaded cousin of Nicole. She seemed backstage for an interview. "Please welcome my guests at this time, the TNA Knockout's Champion, Daisy and the special enforcer for next week's Championship match, the ninth wonder of the world, Chyna." Oh great now I have to listen to Daisy talk. I could do without her being on the screen although the other name has peaked my interest. Both women walked into view, the brunette wearing another one of her suits to mock Karen, that title wrapped around her waist. That championship should still belong to me but in due time, I will recapture it. I will be the one to remove it from her grasp, no one else. Chyna had a small smile on her face, she does look different from whenever she showed up several weeks ago. She seems in better shape, I almost forgot that she is the tallest woman in the division now. Her raw strength could be a problem for me if the others relay all the information to her. Is she sticking around for good or are these sporadic appearances? "Thank you ladies for joining me. Now the first question that I am planning to ask is something I am sure that everyone wants to know, how did all of this happen?"
"Oh, we would be happy to answer that." Nicole snickered before seemingly looking around for a moment. She lightly nudged the taller woman with her elbow, which got a small chuckle out of the Ninth Wonder of the World. "I noticed that Karen tucked her tail between her legs and decided not to show up tonight. She made the right decision. Anyways, I will let you answer her question, Chyna."
"The opportunity came knocking at my door, that is the simplest answer. I wasn't satisfied with making Karen tap out." I thought that was originally going to be her only match since they couldn't secure a deal with her. Then out of nowhere, she showed up last week. Did Daisy really have a hand in bringing her back or is that purely storyline? "I want real competition but I also don't want Karen getting what she wants. Daisy came to me with a proposal. She doesn't want any of those lackeys involved and I can throw them around and show everyone that I mean business."
"I see. You two are friends and there is nothing wrong with that. Is that friendship going to be a factor in the match next week?"
Daisy seemed almost offended by the statement as the pair looked before each other for a second. Their heads both shaked from side to side. "Are you trying to imply that I would attempt to cheat to retain my title?"
"No, not-"
The Champion didn't bother to give Hemme a chance to correct herself. A smirk appeared across her lips as that confidence oozed out of her. It made me sick. "Of course not, Christy. Our friendship stays back here as soon as we walk through that curtain. Chyna here is to basically make sure that the so-called 'Queen of the Mountain' doesn't interfere with mine and Mickie's match. I am a fighting champion. After everything Karen has put me through, if Mickie ends up beating me, she was the better woman in the end. That isn't going to happen without the fight of her life. Mickie knows it as well, we respect each other. I want Mickie's A game and I'll throw everything I got at her and then some. Chyna is here to make sure that happens. "
The brunette took a step back as Chyna spoke, "That's right and no matter what, the match will be fair on all counts. This will also allow me to experience the Knockout's up close firsthand. Whoever wins next week's match better watch out, you never know when you will be face to face with me." Instead of being intimidated by that last sentence, the Champion seemed thrilled to hear such a response out of Chyna. Daisy's attention looked to the taller woman behind her with a smile and a nod of her head. Let's hope that will never be the case, if that happens, I would be forced to root for my plaything to retain again. Such an annoyance, I don't need more people in my way. Could this woman be any use to me right now? She could be a possibility but there are other things that I want to explore first. I might need to pay Nicole a visit and figure out why she was going to knock on my door.
Author's Note: Heeey, I hope you enjoyed our favorite witchy bitch and her thoughts. I know I sure did. Anywho, I wanted to ask you guys about something. Lately my muse for watching matches has been nonexistent, I normally write them every week in some capacity but a majority of them are not important. Should I summarize/ cut out the non important matches? I am thinking only about segments and major matches only. What do you think? Would it take anything anyways from the story? Let me know..
If you liked the chapter and how the story is going so far.. please review, fav and/or follow. It means a lot and shows that people like what I write..
