Chapter 5

Ekresh moved slowly out of the water and into the nearby brushes. Water thankfully never messed with his specialized suit and sensor equipment, so he didn't have to worry about damage. Rain clouds were quickly moving in which he knew his cloak would be ineffective. All he needed to do now was reach the rendezvous point for the Al'kesh to pick him up which was up on a nearby mountain.

Night approached and he switched his cloak to a camouflage setting. This would make it blend more easily with the woods and brush even though careful eyes would detect his silhouette in the rain. He switched his visor to thermal scans and detected a few groups of heat signatures circling the area. All were identified as human. He assumed they had thermal and night vision as well. His suit was designed to blend in even on thermal backgrounds making it harder for even other Goa'uld to detect him.

He stopped to watch the patrols. He timed their routes carefully making sure he only moved when out of sight of a patrol. He moved to an outcropping of rocks and brush. The area was now clear.

That stopped suddenly when four small spheres darted in his direction. Each projected an energy field that disrupted his camouflage. He knew what they were; Transphasic Detection Spheres. Those were part of advanced sensors made by the Tok'ra which would detect anything cloaked including him. would also relay his position to the humans and that was something he couldn't allow to happen. Stealth would be more difficult for now. He took out the PPG he stole from the soldier and rapidly fired shots which caused the spheres to explode in a shower of sparks and hot metal.

"He's over there!" Shouts were towards his direction as footsteps grew louder. This wasn't the first time he had been in this situation. He was once on a world inhabited by people that rebelled against one of the System Lords. He remembered them utilizing hunting dogs and people on horseback that wielded a staff weapon variant with zats. They were never able to capture him.

His hearing became focused towards an area of rushing water. The noise produced could easily mask any noise produced by his rapid movements. A group of large trees made it possible for Ekresh to set up an ambush so now he did. A large limb provided a good vantage point as he prepared his moves.

"Where the fuck did, he go?" One of the soldiers said while the others had their rifles raised searching for the target.

"Keep looking. That fucker is good at hiding as any Spectre!" Major Kowalski whispered. Other soldiers had flashlights

"I don't sense him. This guy is good at hiding his thoughts." Jason Ironheart stated. Gina was exactly right about Ashrak being trained to evade telepaths. He recalled Spectres being given similar training.

"Nothing here. I….." Her thoughts were interrupted by the telepathic sensation of movement in the tree. Time slowed down for her as adrenaline spiked. "Get Down!" She yelled and grabbed the guy nearest in the way and pulled him down as two throwing blades missed them by bare millimeters. The silhouette came into view and pulled out two evil looking daggers. One of the team Sgt. Alders raised his rifle and stepped back to get a shot but not before his rifle was kicked out of his hands while his arm slashed. Before he could cry out in pain his throat was cut quickly.

Ezraa took over and from the hip fired the zat but it was dodged by the fast reaction movements of the Askrak. She ducked under a movement of the blade only to meet a kick to her stomach which winded her and knocked her back. She felt Jason reach out and grab the Ashrak in the elbow. That would be a mistake as the Ashrak quickly turned to stab the Psi Corps agent through the hand before he could telepathically immobilize him completely. Major Kowalski landed a punch which connected with the Ashrak's jaw. In an near instant reflex the Ashrak landed a swift kick to Major Kowalski's midsection sending him back a few feet and winding him.

Jason Ironheart shrieked from the pain. He has been through many crazy events in his life but being slashed by that knife was the most painful. He ducked down and jumped away holding his bleeding hand. He knew of Dilgar Spectres having poisoned blades and thought this would be poisoned too. Ezraa launched to her feet; putting her in a karate chop motion and aimed for the throat. That surprised the Ashrak and managed to get a hit. Not as strong as they liked but enough to inconvenience him with another telepathic burst. As the Ashrak ran, she pulled Jason away.

"Relax." She spoke into his mind as she pulled out a small gem type device that sent out a strange burst of energy. It was a Tok'ra healing device, designed to repair moderate wounds and neutralize Ashrak poison. Like the Spectres, Ashrak also utilized poisoned blades. Unfortunately, the other soldiers wounds were too grievous to be healed. Even advanced Tok'ra technology had its limits.

Ekresh was satisfied with his one kill and disabling of another. He observed the man he wounded getting removed from the battlefield. Now he had to get away quickly to recover from the attempted telepathic immobilization. Honestly, he was impressed by the way the Tau'ri utilized telepaths and wished other System Lords would realize their potential instead of something to be considered a threat. To his knowledge he only knew of Olukun and Nirriti utilizing telepaths with the latter doing experiments with ancient technology to increase their abilities. Selket had a major interest in Nirriti.

Major O'Neill took aim with her shortened PPG Rifle alongside Major Kowalski as he recovered. Both spread out to ensure different connecting arcs of fire were on their enemy. The Askrak kept dodging most of their blasts with some hitting and being absorbed by his advanced armor while other shots began to cause the armor to fail. The Ashrak grabbed two more blades and threw both at her simultaneously. Major O'Neill's reflexes kicked in as she tried to dodge the blades. She turned in too short of the time as one of the blades buried itself right into her thigh. She screamed in pain as she kept firing more from the rifle. The Ashrak continued to run off towards the cliff while bleeding portions of his armor off. Other soldiers continued to fire.

"Medic! I need a fucking medic here now!" Major Kowalski yelled. Ezraa ran toward him with the Tok'ra healing device. "What is that thing?"

"It's the same device I used on Jason. It quickly repairs wounds and neutralizes poison." She positioned the device on Major O'Neill's rib. That wound slowly closed over several seconds and the same happened with the wound on her leg. Major O'Neill quickly felt better as Ezraa helped her up."

"You do have cool shit. Hey Rameriez hand me that launcher!" She yelled as the Hispanic soldier tossed her a large tube. The soldier placed a small warhead into the tube and she got down in a kneeling position with the launcher on her shoulder.

"Fire in the fucking hole!" She screamed as she fired the rocket towards where she thought the Ashrak was. It was time for him to die.

Ekresh kept running towards the cliff. He found a path in which he could quickly run up it and took off. He knew parts of his armor was already shot off and rendered useless. With a small motion he reactivated his full cloaking device and sprinted as quickly as his cyber-organic enhancements could take him. Some of the fire lessened as other teams took care of their fallen warriors.

He looked behind him and saw one of the troops he had wounded earlier lift a large tube on her shoulder. He realized this was a rocket launcher of some type. For Ekresh time began to slow once again. To his left was a large boulder that he leapt towards as the rocket impacted the ground with a deafening blast. Rocks and dirt now rained down on him and some got on his suit which rendered his cloak completely useless. His head was now ringing, and he focused on his cyber-organic implants to compensate to stay focused.

The scanner device on his wrist let him know the Alkesh was entering atmosphere and would be here quickly. The soldiers chasing him gained ground on the cliff. Further up he could see the faint outline of the Alkesh and the incoming objects which were the fighters launched by the Tau'ri. On the side a hatch opened, and he knew this was his shot. He sprinted with all his might and launched himself from the side of the cliff towards the waiting Al'kesh. Suddenly, his mind was filled with pain as something burned through his suit and he felt a loss of sensation in other parts of his body. Looking down, his stomach was hit and burned completely through. It was an injury that without a sarcophagus he would certainly meet death. Looking down he saw the shooter. It was the Tok'ra woman that was trying to kill him earlier. The hatch closed and the Al'kesh speed off, opening a vortex in the upper atmosphere before the fighters could reach it.

Ezraa handed the scoped PPG Rifle back to Major O'Neill. "That's a great fucking shot. I could use someone like you on my team." She complimented. The sonic boom of the vortex finally echoed around them.

"Not good enough. I tried for the head; his wounds will be critical enough for a sarcophagus to revive him. He received critical intelligence so your forces would need to act fast."

"We don't have to worry about that. The intelligence center made sure their computer systems were filled with fake data. Those locations of fleet gathering areas would only lead to jumpgates around dead systems." It was known in all military circles that any Earth Intelligence force had ways of deceiving potential enemy agents. Especially after the incursion of the Spectre on Earth. "This was a pure capture-or-kill mission. Earth does not take too kindly to active alien infiltrators. If it wasn't for Jason's scans and you helping us, you would have been detained." She stated firmly. Earth generally expelled most discovered alien agents if no damage was caused. If they did cause problems, then detention or disposal was in order.

"You would trick the Goa'uld. I like that. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your soldier."

"He died doing his duty to Earth. That's what we all signed up for."

"I find it honorable to volunteer rather than be conscripted." Ezraa knew of a few worlds besides Earth that had volunteer armies rather than conscription. In her opinion most of the volunteer armies performed better.

"It buys us time before they start invading. Now you aren't gonna get detained or anything but we need you to talk to our intel folks with me and Jason. Tell them anything you can about the System Lords and their forces."

Centauri Embassy-Earth

Londo Mollari walked into the meeting room of the Centauri Embassy. He had his aide, a female Centauri named Tani escort him inside. She had driven him to several wineries earlier where he utilized Earth currency to purchase several expensive wines. During the past several days before the loss of the Knoxville they were able to enter several casinos and gamble two thousand in Earth Alliance credits. This was in addition to seeing exotic dancers as Londo had big interests in Earth strip clubs. He entered the meeting room where he had a sudden scheduled meeting with David Sheridan.

"Londo! I see you have been enjoying your stay on Earth." He noticed the expensive wine bottle in his hands. He knew Centauri could hold their alcohol better than most humans.

"Yes, yes its that Cheval Blanc. Your wineries are considered some of the finest. I like them even better than the ones back on homeworld. But don't tell the other diplomats that." He whispered the last sentence into David's ear. Londo Mollari along with several other wealthy Centauri would visit Earth and buy some of their most expensive wines. It was known as a pastime among some of them. "So what brings us together today?" He poured David a drink of the pricey beverage. Londo knew right away it had to deal with the recent exploration incident.

David handed over a series of photographs. One was of the Death Gliders and the other of a pyramid style space station. "We encountered these aliens while on an exploration mission. As you can tell there are design similarities between your fighters and one of your stations and the ships we encountered." David explained, keeping the secret of where the Goa'uld space station images came from. "I read from ancient Centauri history there was a war which drove off alien invaders. Did they ever look humanoid with glowing eyes and use similar vessels?"

"Yes David." Londo's eyes widened. "As a matter of fact it was that technology we recovered that led us to the stars over a thousand years ago. It was rumored these Gal'd enslaved Xon tribes before a rebellion drove them off the continent. There have even been legends of Xon being possessed by large worms. Stories to scare the little children at night. Ancient historical records show some of the first aircraft were from those ancient Gods."

"Well Ambassador looks like those stories are right." David handed him another photo of a serpent like creature looking like a Kor symbiote. He noticed Londo Mollari's eyes grow.

"That's very similar what the legends say. I have something that you would find interesting. There are two deities in one of our main religions; Li and Mo-Goth. Both are said to have eyes that glowed. Other stories talked about them being driven off homeworld by rebellions. Depictions of them have even been recovered in old Xon territories and no nation had contact with the Xon before those worlds. There are archives on homeworld that are only accessible by members of our government and not the greater public. Some of these records hold more detail about our history and artifacts. Can I keep this photo?" Londo always pondered about why surviving Pyramids looked like those he visited in Giza. Even the obelisks were almost a duplicate. Some fringe groups on homeworld suggested aliens had visited both Centauri Prime and Earth millennia ago but left. These groups were always dismissed as crazy. Londo didn't see them as so crazy anymore.

David was authorized to hand the photo to the Centauri, so he said yes. He also handed Londo the data crystal that obtained information on the new aliens he could release. Over the past several years he built up a strong relationship with the Centauri ambassador even visiting Centauri Prime on occasion and meeting Emperor Turhan. "What do you foresee the Centaurum reacting to this?"

"David, I will speak to my government about this. If our borders are threatened, I would hope the Centaurum responds in kind. As you know Emperor Turhan is a pacifist and placed the government info focusing on our internal affairs rather than the galaxy at large. I am sure you remember our government handed over two contested worlds over to the Narn rather than start a war. Fortunately, I do have authority over my House Fleets. My government would want to find out as much information as possible before formulating a response." He concluded.

David thanked Londo and watched him depart to his vehicle where his aide was driving. He overheard him tell her to head toward the spaceport quickly as possible. He completely understood what Londo stated about the Centauri focusing more inward rather than anything external say for some of the Orieni. Internal squabbles among the houses was put away to focus strengthening of their civil society and keeping the Republic strong. It was a bit of a political and media firestorm for the Centauri when they gave away two worlds rather than risk a war against the Narn. Maybe this time the Centauri would listen to reason.

Ra's Mothership- Hyperspace

In the past Ra would find the typical travel through hyperspace to be void of excitement. It was a routine occurrence he had performed likely millions of times before. The only time he had excitement only happened more recently with the revelation of the Tau'ri becoming space faring. In the back of his mind he was honestly impressed by how quickly they established themselves. He was even more surprised by the other empires in this region of space long abandoned by the other System Lords. A few other empires seemed to view the Tau'ri as formidable warriors. They had already fought another war against an empire just a decade ago and gained respect as a galactic player. Until now the Tau'ri had held the System Lords as myths and legends. No one else really worshipped the old gods.

Coreward of their position was the Centauri Republic. Born out of the old domains of Li and Mo-Goth. Both of those System Lords held extremely limited contact with the others as they were too far away to care about the affairs of other domains. Neither took part in the War Against Sokar or even in the brief conflict against Vellamas. The recent System Lord that a Goa'uld took an alien host around a millennia ago. He now held a respected domain.

Ra had thought about heading straight for Earth and bypassing the colonies. According to the intelligence received it was a heavily fortified system with many shipyards, fleets and defense installations. The Tau'ri have indeed come a far way. Such an attack before gaining information about them would have been reckless. Such actions would have been done by other System Lords but not him. Hitting fleets at other colonies would leave fewer ships to defend their homeworld. Everything else can be mopped up later.

"M'Lord we are approaching the first set of coordinates."

"Excellent. Keep all weapons charged and burn everything in our path."

"As you wish m'lord."

The view of hyperspace shifted quickly to normal space. Ra stood up to watch the battle commence. He waited in anticipation for several seconds that felt like minutes. He saw no weapons fire, no exploding ships nor did he see anything else in front of him but a worthless ringed rocky world in front of him. The rage inside him increased. He knew the navigator was not an incompetent fool.

"Where is the Tau'ri fleet?" He demanded in a mix of surprise and anger.

"My Lord the system has been fully scanned. Besides the jump gate there is nothing here. The worlds in this system show nothing to indicate the Tau'ri were ever here. Other fleets are reporting arrival at dead worlds as well m'lord." Navigator Hutanak stated firmly.

Ra reached over to the console where the data crystal was and threw it against a wall shattering it. He cursed the Tau'ri for tricking him. Slaves scurried away in fear that Ra might do something drastic but he stopped and regained composure

"Shall I awaken Ekresh for punishment?" asked Anek, one of the ships Prime. His First Prime Kassel commanded another fleet with the same orders to eradicate the Tau'ri.

"No! This was not his doing. We will just have burn their worlds and fleets one by one!" His eyes once again glowed in rage. Ekresh had been recovering in the sarcophagus and would hear the news shortly the Tau'ri have tricked him. Ra would let him get his revenge as well. If the Tau'ri knew of his arrival this meant that there was more than one Tok'ra on his ship. Ekresh would have another mission soon.

"My Lord a great many ships are incoming…. They have the marking of System Lord Apophis" Hutanak reported.

He wondered what his brother was doing here. Of all the System Lords he knew his brother would be more likely to show himself. Even more than his son Heru'ur. "Put him on screen." Ra stated before sitting down in his throne chair.

"Brother Apophis, what brings you here?"

"The call of your banners and fleets to your old domain has not gone unheard of. I wondered why my brother would care about old worlds but I see why now. The Tau'ri have grown and expanded in our absence. How long have you known and allowed this?"

"They have trespassed on my domain and will face the proper punishments. I intend on shattering their armies and burning their worlds."

"Brother it was foolish of you to abandon this domain and let these Tau'ri grow. Now they travel the stars like they own them."

"You bear as much fault in this as well Apophis you are sure to remember that. You held systems in this region as much as I.

"Indeed I have. I have come to render you….assistance in destroying the wretched Tau'ri. We can split the spoils, half and half."

"You can have the remaining third of their space brother. No more." Ra gave the final word on the deal.

Apophis snarled lightly. "Very well."

"I am sending you coordinates of their colonies. May we both enjoy turning them to molten slag."

"Thank you brother. To victory.

Ra stepped away from his throne and walked over to the Sarcophagus Chamber. As it opened, Ekresh stepped out with his wounds completely healed. He stood at attention towards Ra.

"The Tau'ri have deceived us." Ra spoke in a mix of anger and disappointment. "This is not a failure for us but an opportunity. We have at least one or more Tok'ra on this ship. As we go into battle they will do whatever they can to hinder our efforts. I want you to make sure they are eliminated and disposed of."

"The woman who wounded me was a Tok'ra. It has been apparent they have been feeding the Tau'ri information. I will find them and make sure they are eliminated."

"Use whatever full resources you desire. They are all at your disposal." He walked away and headed back to the throne chair.

"Navigator Hutanak take us to the Tau'ri world of Jericho. Have our ships ready to shatter the fleets of the Tau'ri and burn their worlds to ash."

Meanwhile in the shadow of an asteroid's crater a small ship was recording this using advanced but passive detection technology. Goa'uld communications never had any encryption which allowed full reception of communications and data. Stealth Oracle class ships were utilized by EFNI to observe and gather intelligence on other civilizations, military and civilian communications. This one utilized a technology the Tok'ra had given them in order to better listen in to the communications of the Goa'uld frequencies. The more advanced modern computers were pulled out in exchange for non-networked older ones that could be plugged into alien systems with no problem. As both the Earth Alliance and Tok'ra used data crystals it wasn't too difficult to create an interface. The data crystal that the Ashrak took only led to dead and barren systems where joint EIA and EFNI crewed ships could observe them.

Inside the EAS Chanakya, a well-known spy vessel utilized by joint EFNI and EIA crews sat Major Allison Simmons and Allen Kinsey. Also sitting in was Narjul, one of the Tok'ra who brought the communications and sensor device that intercepted Goa'uld communications with stunning efficiency. The ship was now collecting more detailed sensor profiles on the numerous Goa'uld ships. These ship profiles will then be uploaded any military ship in the Earth Alliance along with technical data on ship weapons, defenses, armor, weak spots. The only problem was shields which would just require a utilization of pure firepower to bring down.

"The forces brought by Apophis only represent half of his fleet." The Tok'ra stated. He explained that Apophis needed to keep a large portion in his domain as his rival Cronus would still try to take advantage of any perceived weakness. This type of infighting was common among the System Lords. To Allen Kinsey he knew it could be used as an advantage point in the future.

"We know their next moves now. According to their conversation Apophis fleet will strike Sinzar while Ra will strike Jericho. Sinzar and Cyrus have been evacuated along with most of Jericho. Kassel, Ra's First Prime will attack Deneth. Seeing all those ships out there made me a bit nervous." He wiped off sweat from his forehead. He knew if the Goa'uld did in fact detect him they would have sent numerous ships to take him down. It was a risk he was willing to take.

"Deneth? Why attack Deneth it's just a protectorate world." The Deneth Commonwealth was a world that just discovered hyperspace travel from their jumpgate and recently encountered the greater galactic scene. Prior to this they had been under some observation from the Earth Alliance and when they activated their jumpgate, they ran into the Alliance which helped them fine tune their technology and allowed them access to another system. Their home system plus another colony held many resources which made them both richer and a target for nearby enemies. They had asked Earth for protection in exchange for the shipment of some resources mostly Quantium 40 and other metals. With the wealth gained from their resources they have bought many old hulls, weapons from both the Earth Alliance and Narn Regime which gave their fleet an interesting mix of ships configurations. If attacked they knew Earth would come to their aid. It was one of two worlds considered an Earth Alliance Protectorate. The other being Zafran which coincidentally was a mere jump away from Deneth and holding good relations.

"The Goa'uld see protectorate worlds no different than colony worlds. System Lord will attack any world even remotely allied with their enemies." Narjul explained. When the System Lords waged war, even the Underlords were attacked as well as allies. "With this alliance between Ra and Apophis they will bolster their fleets. You have done well though to deceive them. I pray your fleets will drive them back."

"We have made our preparations. You have our thanks. It may be a tough fight, but I ensure you Ra and Apophis will be driven back. What about your agents on those ships? What can they do?"

"They are always willing to give their lives to bring down Ra and the System Lords. We cannot give specifics but there are plans in place and they will take advantage of any situation they can get." Allen Kinsey presumed it was likely more sabotage attempts. If agents were willing to sabotage the Goa'uld ships he was fine with it. During the Dilgar War it was common for slave groups and even underground Dilgar anti-government groups to sabotage ships and manufacturing. It slowed down the Dilgar advance and was one of the small parts that helped the Earth Alliance and League win the war.

"Alright the Goa'uld ships are leaving the system and entering hyperspace. I transmitted the data package back to Earth, now locked onto the Proxima beacon. Let's get out of here."

Earthdome- Geneva

President Elizabeth Levy sat in the conference room with a small cup of coffee. Already she stayed awake through most of the day taking in reports. Londo Mollari left for Centauri Prime and was safely back in Centauri Republic territory to figure out connections between their ancient history and that of the Goa'uld. A small mission was dispatched to the Ch'lonnas territories to determine who was attacking them. Sitting down at the conference table was General Lefcourt and Director Yuri Serkov.

"Our deception program worked. Two of the alien fleets got lured to the dead systems. The alien agent didn't succeed in getting anything classified from the facility though it was unfortunate he escaped." President Levy was handed photographs of the large fleet. The dead systems were just outside the territory claimed by the Earth Alliance. Nothing useful but it allowed the spy ships to gather a great deal of intelligence. "Our new Tok'ra friends have proven useful. Our scientists say one of their long-range sensors can be reproduced with our technology easily. Communications from the vessels were also intercepted and their fleets can be tracked with ease now." Director Serkov turned a page in the dossier and the President followed. Thanks to the efforts of Doctor Carter, scientists and engineers working with him the recovered technologies were starting to be studied and reverse engineered.

"Ra has a brother; Apophis. His fleet arrived in one of the dead systems and struck a deal with Ra. Destruction and enslavement of two-thirds of our colonies while he gets the remaining third. Yeah…there is no making peace with these guys." The Director stated in his thick Russian accent.

"Never thought I would imagine a race made up of Jha'durs. What's the status of the colonies?"

"A lot of transport ships left Jericho last night. The remaining people are moving to the underground bunkers away from the cities. Sinzar and Cyrus have been completely evacuated save for crews at defense stations. Additional defense platforms and satellites have been deployed." General Lefcourt stated.

"And our fleets?"

"Everyone from leave has been recalled. Reservist and IRR have been fully activated and reported to their duty stations. Admiral Nadya Levedeva of the 5th Fleet is ready to strike. Rear Admiral Thornton has her rapid strike fleet ready with Admiral Levedeva. Admiral Julian Martinez of the 3rd Fleet is near Deneth ready for the defense of the protectorate world. The other fleets are holding positions here at Sol and Proxima with remaining patrol fleets being recalled to Vega. We kept patrols on the Centauri and Narn Borders to a minimum to bolster our defense fleets. Staff is looking into pulling from the mothballed fleets. We are as prepared as can be."

"You have my full authorization to reactivate the mothballed fleets. What's the status of the two Medusa prototypes?"

The Earth Alliance kept many older ships in a mothball status to be recalled later. Many of these ships had seen action in the Dilgar War but were replaced by newer ones. Others served during the Ch'lonnas Troubles and the Koulani Conflict. These ships could be easily refitted with new technologies, armor, and crews that could learn to operate older systems.

"The Medusa's should be ready to roll within a couple weeks." The Medusa Battleships was intended as a second-generation Nova class. Larger than a Nova and with more of the most advanced weapons the Earth Alliance has tested. They were intended as a proof of concept to utilize the pure battleship style from the 20th Century. On the outside they had the appearance of a Poseidon Supercarrier but with the hanger bays being replaced with weapons, many of them newer and more powerful. Both ships had an experimental spinal laser ready for use. "On another note we have the Lewis and Clark fully repaired. We are sending them on a mission to Omelos in the next couple weeks to find out more about possible Dilgar connections to the Goa'uld." General Lefcourt finished.

"What about Jankowski?" Director Yuri asked.

"He was cleared of any wrongdoing according to the Board. To them his actions weren't reckless, and he did what he could to save those ships. He may have been a hotshot, but he got the Lewis and Clark along with the other cruiser out of there. Right now, he is being placed with Rear Admiral Thornton's strike fleet. She keeps a tight unit, has no tolerance for bullshit. We need as many people out there as possible." He stated. He may not have liked Jankowski himself but knew the risks of any mission even exploration ones. Unknown powers lay out there in the Frontier and some of them very well could be hostile. He also knew Jankowski would like to pay back the Goa'uld for what they did to the Knoxville.

"May whatever God that exists watch over us in these dark times…. Bring in the ISN Team I have an announcement to make."
