A/N

Guess who's still alive? Hey, y'all. I wanted to come here and apologize for being gone to the wind for ages. I've been posting and updating a Halo Fic and haven't really had time to do anything else besides color guard, school, and work. But, here's an apology and I'm also already working on chapter seven. Hope y'all like this, and I'll see ya around for the next one. :)

Raina and her small party of animatronics made their way to the entrance of the daycare, the large place making Raina's skin crawl, not to mention the lights and the Sun were being buggy. The teen kept glancing over her shoulder, expecting something to happen, something bad. The way Sunny kept watching her put her on edge. She didn't know what it was, but it just felt off to her instincts. And her instincts had kept her alive this long, she might as well trust them.

Suddenly, the lights shut completely off and she heard a sinister cackle behind her. Slowly, so as not to bug the headache that hadn't quit left her yet, she turned to face the Sun behind her. Her green and gold eyes widened in surprise at the sudden change in Sunny's outfit and form.

Instead of the normally bright sun-based animatronic, there was a darker, more dulled version of him standing behind her. The only color on this animatronic was the red belt and ribbons around his ankles and wrists. Sunny's striped red and gold pants changed to navy blue sweats with gold stars instead, and instead of the triangular fins normally on top of his head sat a sleep hat, again covered in stars. Sun's once completely white eyes faded to a glowing sinister red.

Almost the same color as what Monty's were before Raina had managed to break the chip. (Rather harshly might she say)

Without warning, Monty lets out a growl and easily scoops the smaller teen up, throwing her onto his back. Raina quickly rebalances herself and grabs hold of the animatronics spikes. When she goes to yell at the alligator, the once Sunny animatronic lunges at them, missing the girl's face by mere inches. Her two toned eyes widened, her pupils shrinking with the very noticeable threat.

Monty starts running without even so much as a warning, and Raina has to hold on for dear life to stay on the large animatronic's back. As they run, she hears the pitter patter of the demented Moon behind them, quickly catching ground. As Monty runs, Raina shifts the bat in her hands and turns at the waist to catch sight of the Moon. A nearly silent gasp leaves her as her mind registers just how close the animatronic had gotten.

Raina squares her shoulders and slowly turns fully on Monty's back, somehow managing to keep her hold on the rapidly moving alligator. Letting out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding, the teen jumps from the back of the bass-player with a loud yell, slamming the business end of the bat into the Moon's face, landing in a harsh roll on the floor.

To give her credit, she did knock Moon down and got back up almost immediately. Although, she did just reopen some of her wounds, and now her arm hurt like a bitch… Raina grunts and forces herself to stand, her arm lame at her side. She takes a defensive position and raises the bat like a sword, keeping it between her and the demonic moon.

When the dark animatronic jumps at her, she side steps him and bashes in his head, knocking him to the ground. With her adrenaline on high, she winds her arm back, prepared to hit him again, only for a groan to make her hesitate. If the same thing that happened with Monty was happening with the other animatronics, it wouldn't surprise her that the Moon and Sun animatronic would be having the same issue.

But, the question was, if it was happening to the Moon, why not the Sun? Did they have separate processors? She supposed that made sense as well. What she'd seen of the two, they had severely different personalities. The Sun was a happy lil bugger, and the Moon looked to be more quiet. If she had to guess, he was used during the kids' naptime, what with his colors.

And being used during the night of the daycare meant no one was around to catch someone tampering with the Moon's wiring and processors. Meanwhile, the Sun was used during the day, when people were around. Raina is so caught up with her thoughts, she doesn't see the large, clawed hand swinging for her.

The teen is thrown harshly into the air, the Moon's claws catching her in the side and face, drawing even more blood from her already battered body. As she's flung, she sees Monty tackle the animatronic. She crashed onto the floor with a thump and the wind knocked her. Raina's vision fills with black on the edges and she sees weird little dots clouding her eyesight.

Raina groans and opens her dual colored eyes in time to see Monty being shoved off of the Moon, the animatronic leaping back at her. She rolls just as the Moon lands where her head had once been. Gathering what strength she had remaining, Raina hauls herself to her feet and leaps for the animatronic. Just as she'd seen before, the back of the Moon's head was left open, a small control panel. Inside held a small, red-ish microchip.

And so, doing what she does best, Raina brought the metal bat down hard against the back of the Moon's skull, hearing a crunching of plating she hoped wasn't too important. When she brings the baseball bat back to her side, the microchip is crushed.

With a puff of air, Raina lets herself collapse to her knees and just waits. Within a couple of minutes, the Moon starts back up with a groan from his mechanical joints. Monty stomps over and stands slightly over the girl. Raina couldn't help but think that it was a protective stance, but that was just wishful thinking.

The Moon stood to his full height, a towering eight feet or so, and glanced around, his once red eyes now a soft violet color. His optics land on the pair and he just studies them for a moment without saying anything. For some reason, not even the staring of the Moon was as bothersome to Raina as the over-friendly Sun.

Raina let out a pained groan when she tried to get to her feet, the multitude of injuries lacing her body having reopened. The teen hisses as she looks over her battered body, blood soaking into her clothes.

"Damnit." She muttered to herself.

Monty and the Moon both look at the teen, taking in the very bloody appearance. They glance at each other before Monty shakes his head in slight fond amusement. The Moon cocks his head, his eyes moving from the Gator to the girl. He hummed slightly before moving away, towards the lobby of the Pizzaplex. Monty pokes Raina with his tail, making the girl get a move on.

"So, what's next, kid?"

Raina stopped short for a minute before her hand went to the back of her neck sheepishly. "In all honesty, I hadn't thought that far." Monty took note that her accent got slightly heavier when she was embarrassed.

Cute. He couldn't help but think.

"Well, we're looking for that brother of yours, ain't we? Maybe we should try and get access to the cameras, see if we can't find 'im and Freddy."

Slowly, Raina nodded before scooping the bat she dropped off the floor. Looking around, her two toned eyes locked onto a strap of fabric that had come from somewhere. Shrugging, she made herself a quick sheath around the belt, tying it to the loops of her pants. With a heavy sigh, Raina forces herself to stand straight and she locks eyes with Monty and Moon.

"Let's get this shit show on the road then."
