A/N: Hi! And thank you for reading the first chapter, I hope you like this too! I wanted to write plenty of fluff in this chapter and had to edit my planned scenes, after thinking the pace was to rushed.
Again, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

Chapter 2
Tender, Fall for you and; Care
The next morning, Misaki woke up early only to be surprised by her head security in the kitchen, making her some healthy breakfast.
"Good morning, ma'am." He politely greeted.
Misaki baffled how he sensed her, "Good morning to you too. Wow, you're early."
"A habit I picked up as a man in uniform, your excellency." Misaki nodded, "I hope you like pancakes, I made them from scratch." pointing at the bag of all purpose flour. The woman was confused, she didn't remember she had those in her pantry.
"Thank you, and I never had pancakes for years now." She was actually excited.
Takumi pleased, "Great, I'll make you some thing extra too." to her surprise, Takumi gave her a bowl of assorted berries, again she looked confused.
Takumi chuckled, "I had lieutenant Nao grab some fruits from the market earlier." and handing her some maple syrup. Misaki enjoyed her breakfast and a little disappointed that there were no more servings, Takumi amused gave three of his and let her enjoy the breakfast some more.
Misaki pouted that Takumi ate only little and she felt guilty taking his food, "It's alright, I had some while cooking the batches." he lied so she can be at ease.
"Really?" taking a bite, "Thanks!" Takumi seemed content watching his charge happily eat his share. "You know, you're only supposed to guard me, it didn't say you need to spoil me too." she commented.
"I know, but it is my choice, ma'am." Takumi wiping the stray syrup on the side of her lips and having to lick his thumb after. The poor diplomatic secretary flushed at his actions causing the man to chuckle.
Once they were prepared, they repeated the same security measures for travel from last night, and this time armored four-by-four vehicles convoyed their route to office.
Misaki was immediately greeted by five of her aides taking turns doing their reports as well as informing her of schedules laid out. Takumi was then informed by Satsuki, another of Misaki's attaché; that the official will have a charity event that she needs to attend, and that it is an outdoor setting.
Takumi right away did his work as the Chief Diplomatic Secretary's head of security and started to secure any possible positions that would compromise his charge's life. He had immediate access to the information about the guests and location, that way he can post his men as well as few more snipers to retaliate in case of danger.
With a sigh after feeling the suffocating tense, her chief bodyguard is expressing, "You're too paranoid." Misaki shaking her head watching Takumi fuss over and speaking to his men over the radio.
"It's just a precaution, my excellency." he said sternly with a little bit of worry, "I know you take it lightly because nothing has happened, yet. However, I refuse to take any chances of you getting hurt or killed." Takumi grit his teeth.
With a small smile, "I'll be fine." She assured and Takumi prayed that things would go smoothly for the day.
Throughout that morning, Misaki had to painfully watch the man heavily gear up like he was about to head foe combat, Misaki didn't say anything and allowed Takumi take his precautions to ease his worry.
As afternoon came, Misaki looked shocked at the numbers of her security. "The last time I remember, they were less than this!" Turning to Takumi.
"I had to double... no I should have tripled them." He calmly said which horrified the official. Meanwhile Misaki's attachés as well as staff that needs to follow her for the engagement giggled at the soldier.
"Looks like its the other-way-around who got smitten." Erika snorted and Aoi knew what she meant. Takumi ignored her and continued to fuss over Misaki who wore no bulletproof vest inside her suit coat.
"I'll be fine." she assured the second time and they headed to the location. Takumi kept his contact through radio with his men and directed them in position. And to ease him, Misaki had to pull him on stage beside her.
Few of the woman's older colleagues mused at how her chief security stuck to her like his life depends on it, not only her colleagues, but also the media covering the current event. The scene was a spectacle, Misaki was known to be very formal and strict when it comes to engagements and putting her staff into the same manner. However watching her with the head security bantering and obliviously acting like an old married couple is a new.
The Military official acting like an overly clingy husband while the Minister of Foreign Affairs sounded like a tired wife trying to keep her clingy husband at bay. Once Takumi settled after making a beneficial deal with his charge, they listened to the host welcoming their guests as well as audiences.
The current engagement was a project planned and processed by Misaki, inspired by her younger years after her mother worked as a nurse. The government hospital that she longed to establish is an all round trauma and emergency center. The hospital is also being developed as well as supported by foreign medical specialist that can give free medical aid to those less fortunate.
Misaki grew up in a humble home, her mother was a retired nurse who works tirelessly to help provide for her and her sister, while her father was just a mere cook turned chef. She was able to afford her education right after her father was given a job by the former Prime Minister; the father of the current Prime Minister. Sakuya and the old Executive became friends over food and was later hired.
Misaki worked hard to be on top and make her parents as well as her sponsor proud, now she is working along side her childhood friend the current Prime Minister, her plan is to later on run for senate and maybe a Deputy Premier.
For now, she will serve her country as the Foreign Minister that would make plenty of allies. "Why are you tense?" Misaki is now feeling it after Takumi kept on making orders from his radio, "Calm down, I'll be okay." To her surprise.
Takumi held her hand secretly, "Don't panic ma'am, Sergeant Kano just reported. Someone in the crowd is targeting you, they are looking for him now but we are trying to subdue the man without scaring the people." Misaki felt a little cold and unconsciously gripped the man's hand a little tight, her breathing became uneven.
Takumi on the other hand was ready to cover her since he was armed and secured, he stood a little closer to her for easy protection in any cases. And his hunch was right, a man in a casual shirt and jeans with his cheap messenger bag pulled out a homemade shotgun and ready to open fire at the officials. Good thing his men were quick and suppressed the assailant without alarming the public.
The Major however out of impulse covered Misaki with his body which caused the others to be surprised, the oldest official who was sitting beside Misaki gave an amused cough, "And here I thought you don't have anyone in mind. I was about to introduce you to my son." The old official chuckled and he was joined by the others.
Misaki blew-up into a blush and tapped Takumi who immediately released her, "Sorry about that, ma'am. However my boys were able to locate and arrest the gunman." After informing her, the others were able to hear and understood the soldier's action, "He's under the our custody and will be investigated." Further reporting.
Misaki cleared her throat and pulled-herself from embarrassment, "Good job, and thank you. But please don't do that, you might get yourself killed instead of me." Takumi was touched that she did not mind the sudden embrace, but most of all, she cares for him the same as he does for her.
"It's my job, and I'm wearing the proper gear." Takumi reminded her that she refused to wear what he suggested.
Misaki pouted and sighed, "Fine, I'll wear it when we leave." That pleased her guardian, who then proceeds to smile.
Takumi nodded, "I'll have Hyōdō-san to schedule a fitting, I have a friend who makes custom and comfortable ones." on Cue Aoi gave an okay sign and wink. Little did the pair know the media have been having a field day taking their pictures, especially the time Takumi suddenly covered her. The two were deaf from the sound of the camera shutters barraging their way.
So far, despite the issue, Misaki finished her day early after her executive superior called in worry and demanded for her to head straight home. Takumi on the other hand called more security measures and added devices around Misaki's property. Night vision cameras as well as motion sensors were installed the next day.
Misaki gave up arguing with her blonde guardian and just followed his instructions for safety. "I made breakfast." He then placed a complete English breakfast for her to feast, Takumi took note that his lady boss loved to eat and she might not admit it but she liked his cooking.
Noticing the huge box, "Did you make a bento?" taking a bite of her sausages.
"I did, its not healthy to eat fast-food all the time." Takumi asked around and Misaki often requests to order out, knowing that the cafeteria don't serve any more meals after lunch. "And you need to eat on time, otherwise you'll die from stomach cancer." He scolded.
"What are you now, a doctor?" Misaki snorted.
Takumi took the challenge and raised one of his eyebrow, "Actually I am." Misaki laughed thinking it was a joke. Takumi pulled out his wallet and took out a PVC card with his identification and medical certificate licence, Misaki stared and read it repeatedly.
This time Takumi laughed, "If you're going to ask why I became a soldier instead of a doctor, it's simple. I came from a family of servicemen and decided to be the military doctor." He explained and Misaki's jaw kept hanging.
Takumi playfully tapped-her-chin up with a laugh, "Seriously?" It wasn't written in his information when she read it, "But what kind of doctor?" She grew interested.
Takumi sliced the sausages, tomatoes and mushrooms into small-bite-pieces for her, "Thank you." Misaki's eyes sparkled waiting for Takumi to tell her more.
"Well, I'm a surgeon and a general physician." Misaki's reaction was priceless, "Now, now~ Don't fall~" Takumi teased and Misaki rolled her eyes. Though, deep inside Misaki was impressed and pleased that her friend was able to get her a reliable man to protect her.
