A/N:
So during the past 800 years of dormancy from fun writing I've done a lot of academic and some screen writing and I can see how that's influenced my writing style quite a bit. I think the past two chapters are a little bare and I'm hoping to have some more details and flowery descriptions in this chapter.
So in the pure, unadulterated joy of exploration and writing for the absolute fuck of it all I'm going to play a bit more into that side of writing and see how it turns out.
That being said : I would really appreciate a review or perhaps a suggestion of where I should take this story. To be fair I only imaged the first couple scenes and technically I could just start writing how they came together in this story…but yes if anyone wants to see a particular direction it might be cool to play with.
I really want to contribute to BBRAE week this year ^_^. So I'm not opposed to playing around with some prompts.
Anyways … enjoy!

(Earlier in the Night)
Raven and Beast Boy laid on their backs in the middle of the now cleared patch of the forest. Both red, both refusing to look at each other. Raven was clutching her cape around her to try and hide the various rips in her uniform, small bite marks, bits of dirt and the rose colored hickey that was starting to take residence on her neck.
Best Boy was frozen in absolute panic, his uniform also in serious distress. One boot was missing, and he had no idea where his gloves were. His green hands, bearing moderate claws, were not something he particularly liked anyone to see. But then again whatever had just happened made Raven the most intimate relationship he's ever experienced in his life, so I guess it didn't matter that she could see them. That thought made his heart flutter, but his stomach was twisted up like a wet ball of yarn. He wasn't quite yet able to bask in the revelry that he, Beast Boy, had actually just hooked up with Raven. Raven from the Teen Titans. Violet haired, book reading goddess from the underworld Raven. Raven, rival to none. He had…slept with her. With Raven. His mind reeled at the implication.
He cautiously turned his head sideways to try and figure out what he was going to say to her. Images of the last hour buzzing at the forefront of his mind.
(Even Earlier)
The four eyed Raven was seamlessly running through the forest, a smirk plastered on her face while she chuckled. It wasn't until a large, green wall appeared out of nowhere that a look of shock took its place. Having bashed into it with full force, she tumbled backwards. The green form now leaning precariously over her. He pinned her arms behind her head and slowly ran his fangs delicately all down her neck and across her collarbone. She growled in response, pushing her body off the ground and up against his. He responded by lowering himself on her, her back now grounded back into the earth by his Herculean weight. She felt a warm, impressive sized bulge press up against her lower abdomen and passion like hot lava flow through her veins. His breath was hot and heavy on her neck, and she shivered while he released her left arm, dragging his claws lovingly down the length of it. Just enough pressure to assault every nerve on her skin with a dull ache of desire. He kept going, grazing her chest, claws swirling down her ribcage and landing on her hip. She felt the pressure of his fingers grip into her. That dull ache was screaming inside her, willing him to keep going, to keep sliding down lower and lower until…
"Tag, you're it".
He grinned at her now incredulous face. Leaving a hard kiss in the center of her collarbone he was suddenly dashing away into the lush environment surrounding them. She let out a loud growl of frustration before standing up, kicking a large rock into the bushes and heading after him.
Her heart was blasting inside her chest, all those primal feelings of wanton lust and hedonistic desire swirling around inside her like a hundred tiny whirlpools. She could feel sweat on her body, burning in her legs and her breathing was harsh and labored in desperation. Something caught her attention at the corner of her eye, and she expertly threw out a small tuff of black magic. A thump, a growl. She headed over to claim her victory.
Now restrained against the forest floor by some branches and vines encased in black magic, he smiled up at her. He let out a smug laugh as she copied his earlier move. Pressing into him, she lowered her mouth to his ear, her breath warm and inviting.
"I'm ready to play a new game now". And while her hand started tracing the same lines of his body as he had done to hers earlier, she had no intention of not continuing the journey.
Beast Boy's face turned even redder and he felt pressure against the lower front of his uniform as his mind gently shut the door on the rest of that memory for now. He squeezed his eyes shut, willing those images out of his mind, no matter how much he wished he could relive that moment in a perpetual loop.
"So… uhhh."
Eyes shooting open he looked at her expectantly waiting for her to finish the rest of her sentence"
"That was our first time wasn't it?"
He couldn't be sure what emotion was hiding behind that statement. Amusement? Disappointment? A little bit of both?
"I guess so. How much of it do you remember?"
"All of it… you?"
"S-s-saame"
He couldn't even chuckle nervously, only offer up a quiet stammer. There was that feeling of wanting to throw up again. He ran his eyes over and over her face, trying to place where she was and what she was feeling. He loved her, she knew that. She must have known he wouldn't have wanted it to be with anyone else. I mean he had initially planned it to be much more romantic, but those two sides of each other were starved and not willing to be so any longer.
"You know was though Rae, I think it only counts as half our first time." She looked at him, mild confusion on her face and a dust of pink on her nose and cheeks. He felt an instant compulsion to try and gift her the moon. She was so beautiful, so perfect and so…his.
"No I mean it. Those parts of ourselves, they're not our whole selves so I don't think this counts really as the full first time. I think when we're both ready we'll have something else, something more… romantic". He placed a finger under his chin and winked at her.
Something flashed across her eyes he couldn't pin down, relief?
"So tell me then Garfield what would that be like?"
They smiled at each other, ease coming back into the relationship, their normal banter probably soon to follow.
"I've got a playlist! And candles there should definitely be candles, you really like candles right? And probably a super romantic, brilliant date planned by yours truly before that. A bed of rose petals! Champagne!"
"Woah hold on okay" Raven hadn't been able to knock the red flush off her face, and it was threatening to start increasing in shade in response to her green partner's now exuberant mood. "But.. thank you. That does sound… nice". She offered shyly.
Beast boy's eyes lit up with stars and he turned on his side to face her. She mimicked in turn and suddenly that blanket of comfort, the bubble they built for themselves, and their relationship greeted them again like an old friend. She hated, absolutely hated how much she adored him, how he somehow found a way to make everything better no matter what. She wanted to deny that she felt a bit bruised knowing her first time was so…primal, but thinking of also getting to experience a full-blown, human style sickly sweet "first time" imbued her with a sense of peace.
"So uh.. think you can get us back into our rooms to clean up before we have to face everyone?"
(Present)
Beast Boy was lying in her bed, now used to the space. They had to bring an extra blanket into her room, and a diffuser and noise machine in his. It was soothing how both rooms now smelled similar to him, both places his instincts could lie dormant in response to a feeling of safety. Suddenly these two rooms, once so hellbent on keeping them separate, were starting to blur as parts of each other kept bleeding into the cracks. He hadn't spent one night apart from her, not since 10 days before their relationship started to really take hold. Looking down at her beautiful violet hair, he snuggled his nose into the back of her neck even deeper, arms around her waist drawing her even closer to him.
She was his best friend, the love of his life…and he was never going to sleep apart from her again.

And that's all for now! I wasn't really listening to any song in particular while writing this, and please excuse is it's not quite edited enough. I'm actively avoiding writing a paper for school right now so what better time to dive into a ball of fluff.
Please review if you think I should continue! Might just end it here and start working on a couple other things :)
