Late on All Hallows Eve, a tall dark haired man rushed into a house in the little village of Godric's Hollow. The house was ignored by most passers by on their way home from the festivities; in fact, most villagers didn't remember there even being a cottage there. But if one were able to see the house, they would be too afraid to enter the dwelling because of the damage from what looked like an explosion. The man, however, ran into the house without a care for his own sake. He only wanted to know the fate of his brother and sister in all but blood; and of his precious little godson, Harry Potter.
"James, Lilly?" Sirius Black screamed as he made his way over the broken down door and into the cottage. He was me by only silence. Then, he saw James, the brother of his heart, lying dead on the living room floor.
"Oh James" Sirius cried as his knees hit the floor. He pulled James' body onto his lap and clung to him while tears ran down Sirius' face. Soon though, Sirius was roused from his sarrow by a weak cry coming from up the stairs.
"Harry" Sirius whispered, as though the very sound would cause his godson to vanish from his life. Quick as he could, Sirius laid James" body back on the floor and raced up the stairs. New tears fell from his blood shot eyes from what he saw when he entered the nursery. Broken furniture was strewn around the room and Lilly, lovely Lilly, was dead in front of Harry's crib.
"Pafoo" Little Harry whimpered.
"I'm here Prongslet, I'm here" Sirius tried to calm the distraught child.
"Momma, Pafoo" Harry cried as he pointed to his mother's body.
"Your momma is sleeping Prongslet. We have to let her be" Sirius wept as he picked Harry up and took him outside, making sure that Harry didn't see James' body on the way out.
As Sirius made his way out into the street where he had parked his motorbike, he heard his name being called.
"Sirius!" Hagrid bellowed into the night.
"Hagrid, what are you ding here?" Sirius asked, confused as to why the half-giant was before him in the road.
"I've come to take Harry, Dumbledore's orders, you know" Hagrid said as he reached for the baby in Sirius' arms.
"No, Hagrid! James and Lills are gone, it's up to me to raise Harry now." Sirius sobbed.
"Now Sirius, I've got to take Harry. It's orders you know" Hagrid said as he tried to take the wailing baby again.
"I'm his godfather Hagrid!" Sirius said but then, he looked at the baby and gently gave him to Hagrid. "Take my bike, Hagrid, it will be much safer for Harry. I have to go and find someone." Sirius said almost under his breath.
"Thanks Sirius, Dumbledore's a great man you know!"Hagrid said as he swung his leg over the motorbike and took off into the night.

Scene Break
--
On the sidewalk in front of #4 Privet Dr. Little Whinging, Surey; a cat was watching the house. In fact, the cat had been outside the house all day.
"Fancy seeing you here Professor McGonagall" Headmaster Dumbledore remarked.
The cat turned and saw an old man with long white hair and a beard that reached passed his belt; who was wearing a long set of robes with silver stars embroidered on the hemline. Then the cat did the most curious thing it turned into a middle aged woman who had a stern face and was wearing long emerald green robes.
"Hello Albus. Tell me that the rummers are not true!" Professor McGonagall begged.
"I'm afraid it is true my dear" The Headmaster said.
"But you cannot possibly leave the boy with these muuggles Albus, they really are the worst..."
"The only family he has left" Dumbledore stated.
Minerva McGonagall looked at Albus Dumbledore as if he had finally taken leave of his senses. "What absolute tosh! There are plenty of families related to the Potters to take Harry, even I would take the child!"
Dumbledore looked at McGonagall and sighed, "I had hoped you would cooperate with me on this my dear, it really is for the greater good!" And with a flick of his wand the Headmaster Obliviated Professor McGonagall with a memory cap. The memory cap put all of the Professor's memories that Dumbledore did not want her to remember or that he found inconvient, such as the fact that McGonagall was James' godmother faded into nothingness behind a solid wall in her mind.
"Now that's much better my dear. As I was saying, it really is the only home Harry has now" Dumbledore stated with finality.
With a great rumble a motorbike came down out of the sky, "Ah, Hagrid, no trouble picking up the little tyke I'm sure?" Dumbledore asked
"None at all Headmaster, Sir" Hagrid assured "Does he really have to live with the muggles Sir?" Hagrid asked.
"It really is the safest place for him Hagrid" Dumbledore stated, and with that being his final word on the matter Dumbledore took Harry from Hagid and placed him on the doorstep of #4 Privet Dr. and with a giant crack all three adults and one motorbike disappeared from the quiet street.
