I do not own Harry Potter, only the OC
Hello guys, Badger here. Sorry it's been a while. I'm going to be honest when I say, this chapter was supposed to be published a few days ago. However, things got in the way and I feel like this chapter is the weakest and there was something about this chapter that just didn't sit well with me, but I couldn't figure out what it was, so if the chapter is crap, I apologise.
That is all for now, I hope you enjoy and I will see you the end.
Chapter 5
A Not So Happy Family Reunion
After waking up from his strange dream, Aiden headed down the stairs, where he saw Remus and Sirius talking.
"Aiden won't be happy about this" Sirius said "Especially with what they done to Harry"
"I know, but that was their final decision" Remus sighed
"What are you talking about?" Aiden asked, causing the two of them to jump
They looked at Aiden for a moment, then looked at one another, where Remus sighed, as they turned back to Aiden.
"We received a floo call from Arthur" Remus said "James and Lily's trial is over and the Weasleys will be coming here later today"
"What was the court's decision?" Aiden asked, not caring about the Weasleys for the moment
"They have been charged with a fine of one million Galleons" Remus sighed
"THAT'S IT!" Aiden yelled, causing Remus to wince "the two of them deserve imprisonment for what they did, but instead they have to pay a fine that doesn't even put a dent in the Potter Fortune!"
"Arthur believes Dumbledore is partially responsible for the final verdict" Remus replied "However, you need to remember, James and Lily are seen as heroes in the Wizarding World, for some that was hard to ignore"
"They're not heroes anymore" Sirius spat "The two of them had their Orders of Merlin, First class, stripped from them and James has been fired as an Auror and won't be able to become an Auror again, in any country…something they deserve if you ask me"
"I guess that's something at least" Aiden said, before Lightning, Ace and Aila entered the room
The three of them were talking quietly amongst themselves, where the others could only make out one or two words being said. After a moment, the three stopped, and Lightning turned to Sirius and Remus.
"Listen, there's something we want to ask" He said
"What is it Harry?" Sirius asked
"It's Lightning" Lightning replied, almost automatically "And we want to go back to where you found us…we want to get some clothes, our band equipment and bring our friends here"
"These friends of yours…" Remus spoke up "Are they Muggles?"
"Yes, but they know about magic" Aila replied "We told them, as its not something we could keep hidden, especially when spontaneous magic happened or owls gave us letters"
Sirius and Remus looked at one another, seemingly having a quiet conversation, before turning to Lightning.
"These friends of yours" Remus said "Do you trust them?"
"With our lives" Lightning replied, instantly "They've known about magic for years and haven't run in fear or tried to get us locked up so we can get dissected, we have no reason to not trust them"
"Well if they trust them, then I see no problem with bringing them here" Sirius spoke up "I have a few errands that I need to do, so why don't you take them?"
Any response was cut off by a voice none of them had expected to hear.
"Harry?"
Sirius and Remus stood straighter, shoulders tense, as they saw who it was. Aiden had turned round and his eyes narrowed, as he took a few steps back. Lightning slowly turned round and his eyes widened slightly when he saw a woman with long red hair and a man who looked similar to himself, an old man with a long beard standing behind them. However, his eyes narrowed after a moment, as his jaw clenched. He knew who they were. How could he not. They were the reason he was at the Dursleys and lived on the streets.
Lily was shocked at the boy standing in front of her. Dumbledore had informed her that Harry will look different, but out of every possibility she had come up with, she hadn't expected this. When Harry was a mere baby, Lily could see a resemblance to James but now, if Lily was a complete stranger, she wouldn't think that the boy in front of her was James' child. She went to hug her son, only for him to jump back, the look in his eyes as cold as ice.
"Don't touch me" He said, in a low, quiet voice
"Harry, please…" Lily said, reaching out to him
"I said don't touch me!" Lightning growled, slapping her hands away from him
"Hey, show your mother some respect!" James spoke up, his voice harsh
Lightning slowly turned to him, the right side of his face covered by his hair, giving James an eery feeling, at the look his son was giving him. None of the other occupants in the room made a move yet. They didn't dare, as some held their breath, hoping there was going to be an explosion of any kind.
"I'm sorry, did you just call her, my mother?" Lightning asked, in fake innocence "I think you have her mistaken with someone else…this woman can't be my mother…I mean, she hasn't been my mother for, almost, fifteen years…not since you lot gave me up!"
Lily flinched at her sons words, and his tone. He didn't yell, or raise his voice, he just sounded dark and cold. It was this moment where Dumbledore spoke up, as he stepped forward.
"Harry, my boy, I can understand your minor frustration, but your mother and father hope to make amends with their mistakes, you need to learn to forgive" He said, in his grandfatherly tone, something that often relaxed others and made them listen to him and did as they were told.
However, it didn't have the same effect on Harry.
"I'm not your boy, old man, and don't call me Harry, my name is Lightning" Lightning growled, before turning to Remus "Can we get going now, I feel like I'm going to choke on how thick the atmosphere is here"
"Sure thing" Remus nodded, wanting to get out of the room, himself "We'll be back soon"
"Where are you going?" Lily asked, hurt by her sons words
"We're off to collect a few things, and bring some of our friends here" Ace spoke up "And before you ask, they're muggles"
"I'm going to have to disallow that" Dumbledore replied "While I will allow you to collect whatever items you need, I can't allow you bringing any Muggles here, even if they are friends of yours…"
"That isn't your decision to make" Sirius said, "My house, my rules and I'm allowing it…Lightning and Ace have already told their friends about the Wizarding World and their friends haven't told anyone about us, so if they can keep the Magical World a secret, I can allow them to stay"
Dumbledore wanted to respond, but chose to drop it for now. He didn't like it, but hopefully this could make a path that he can get on Harry's good side. The boy needed to be trained, so he can stop Voldemort for good. It won't be long until Voldemort learns where the boy is and Dumbledore wouldn't be surprised if the Dark Lord chose to storm to Grimmauld Place and make the building crumble to the ground, just to get his hands on the boy.
…
Remus held onto Lightning, Ace and Aila, as he apparated into a small side alley, near the place where they found them. All three of them were massively uncomfortable after their feet landed on the ground. Lightning and Aila had turned slightly green and were swaying on their feet, but besides from that, they were fine. Ace, however, wasn't as lucky, as he threw up against the wall. Aila rolled her eyes slightly, before digging into her pockets and chucking him some Metoclopramide. Her brother was often sick, especially after parties and hangovers so she often kept some ready and waiting.
"Are you sure your friends will still be here?" Remus asked
"Definitely" Aila nodded "If we just disappeared, they wouldn't leave, I wouldn't be surprised if Hound is smoking a cigarette right now"
"Knowing him, he's probably made his way through an entire pack right now" Ace spoke up, holding his head as he walked
The group made their way down the street, where their tour bus was waiting. Lightning immediatley saw Hound leaning against it, talking to Ghost, a cigarette in hand. They seemed to be quite panicked, until they notice their approach and quickly ran over, where Ghost hugged Lightning and Ace tightly, before punching them in the arms.
"Where the fuck were you?" She demanded "You practically disappeared…we weren't sure where you were, so we stayed here…"
"Ghost, breathe" Hound spoke up "Give them a chance to speak"
"Well, we were taken basically" Lightning said, gesturing to Remus "This is Remus, an uncle of sorts, it seems my dear and loving parents want me back"
"You're kidding?" Ghost asked "The same parents that gave you up for not being good enough?"
"The very same" Lightning nodded, before turning to Remus "That reminds me, you never said why they finally want me back"
"Well…Voldemort, The Dark Lord who gave you that scar, has returned" Remus sighed "And…for a long time people believed Aiden was the one to deflect the Killing Curse that destroyed him, making him the Boy-Who-Lived, but, it turns out you were the one to do so"
"I see" Lightning chuckled darkly "So the only reason why my parents want me back is because I am famous for something that happened years ago and not because they love me"
"I must say Lightning, you have some wonderful parents" Hound spoke up "So is that why you're back here?"
"No, we're here to grab some stuff and bring you back with us to where Remus is living" Aila replied
"What, really?" Ghost and Hound asked in unison
"Of course, you're practically family" Ace said, opening the door to the bus "Now come on, shouldn't take too long to grab everything and get back"
…
"So, it can be done then?" Sirius asked, as he knelt in front of the fireplace, where the face of Amelia Bones sat in the green flames
"It will take a bit of string pulling from the right people, but it is possible" Amelia replied "However, it will take a day or two to get the papers ready"
"Thanks Amelia, I'm sure Aiden and Harry will appreciate it as well" Sirius smiled before cutting the connection
He pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling tired, before standing up. It was that moment where he noticed Lily standing in the doorway.
"What will they appreciate?" She asked
"That's for me to know and for you to find out" Sirius replied, harshly starting to walk out, where Lily grabbed his arm
"Sirius, tell me" She demanded
"Why don't you ask Aiden" Sirius said
"He isn't talking to me, or his father" Lily said, softly "He's been ignoring us…"
"Doesn't surprise me" Sirius replied "You took his brother away, who went through hell, seeing as he lived at the Dursleys"
"Do you know anything about Harry?" Lily asked
"Other then that he goes by Lightning and is part of a band, not a lot" Sirius replied "But I'm going to get to know my godson…something I should have done a long time ago and this time, I'm not allowing you and James to stop me"
…
And that is the new chapter done. Was it as crap as I first thought?
As the title said, there wasn't really a happy reunion was there? Will Lightning forgive his parents? Guess only time will tell. Would you forgive your parents if you were in his situation? Also what was Sirius talking to Amelia Bones about? You'll just have to find out.
Before any of you say anything, Metoclopramide are pills to prevent vomiting and sickness, it's not illegal drugs. I have many ideas planned, one of them including the Weasleys and Hermione meeting the Outcasts, which I think will be interesting. Also, a small reminder, if you leave a song recommendation or write your own songs in the review section, it will be featured in a future chapter.
That is all for now, I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next time.
