At the end of the moon, You rise from your slumber and begin your preparations for the day. Seraphine speaks to You all the while.

Seraphine: Today starts the charge into the Empire then…

You nod and say that Gronder Field will be an important foothold before You can lay claim to the rest of the southern nation.

Seraphine: It's going to take us a long time to search the entire country for any signs of Evenor or Samiya… I just hope we don't see all that much resistance.

You say that You are hoping for that as well, but You somehow doubt it will be so simple.

Seraphine: I hate it when you're right… Ugh… I guess we should at least try our best and see where it takes us from here. If the remaining soldiers from Argades' rule decide to cause any more of a hassle for us, we'll get rid of them as quickly as we can.

You nod before making your way to the cardinals' room. There, You are met with the faces of your comrades.

Roy: Our newest scouting reports say there's movement in the general vicinity of Gronder Field. It seems this won't be as peaceful of an expedition as we had been hoping.

Herwig: Do we have any ideas who could be behind it? A rogue faction is different from a group with an active commander, and we should approach them as such.

Cordelia: The rumors are scarce and small right now, but there are some who think this is going to lead to a large battle… We'll simply have to see when we arrive.

Reese: In that case, we shouldn't waste any time. There's a lot riding on this fight, and we should meet the enemy before they can get the upper hand over us.

Niko: I hope the rumors are nothing more than that, though I know it's not going to be that simple. Nothing ever is when it comes to Malice.

Aisa: At the very least, nobody has mentioned seeing Samiya yet. I am willing to consider that a victory in our favor, albeit a small one.

Nesreen: I really hope she doesn't show up today, but we won't know for sure what she's up to until after we arrive, I suppose.

Jill: In that case, let's not waste any more time. Our troops are all ready to march, and the other new commanders among our forces are prepared as well.

Adrian: This will be our first battle as a fully combined force… I'm looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together.

Cordelia: I hope it will be enough to get rid of all the lingering enemies. Surely they have to know that they're outmatched.

Roy: They would only do something like this if they had someone telling them they were going to be alright… There has to be a commander waiting for us there.

Aisa: Then we must depart at once and see who could be behind all of this strife and chaos. Let us go.

In the hours that follow, You and the other members of the army move towards the Empire. Gronder Field appears on the horizon in time, and You stop to examine the silhouettes in the distance.

Cordelia: It appears the enemy caught wind of our plan to start our charge into the Empire from Gronder.

Roy: That's a much larger force than I would have expected to find… We should get closer and see who's behind this.

You draw nearer to the field, and as soon as You are close enough to see who the commander is, your eyes go wide.

Aisa: Is that… Evenor?

Evenor takes a few steps forward, finding a place in front of the rest of the forces.

Evenor: I knew it was just a matter of time before you came here… It seems I was correct.

Seraphine: This is who the commander was then… It seems she's making things easier for us after all the time we wasted chasing her around.

Herwig: Evenor… You're the leader of these forces then. We should have expected to run into you sooner rather than later.

Evenor: You couldn't have possibly thought you would be allowed to enter the Empire without more of a fight.

Reese: I wouldn't go so far as to say we thought it would be that easy… But we were hoping it wouldn't involve running into someone like you.

Jill: We all know where this is going. A battle is on the horizon, and you could make things easier on yourself by surrendering.

Nesreen: Oh, please. We all know she's not going to take that option. She doesn't know what it means to act in self-preservation.

Evenor: I intend to fight with everything I have until this battle is over… And that includes doing all I can to defeat as many of you as possible.

Niko: If that's the choice you intend to make, so be it. We came ready for a fight, and as long as that's what you want, we'll give it to you.

Adrian: You had best prepare yourself. We've been searching for you for quite some time, and we have no intentions of letting you go now.

Evenor: Tch… Of course not. Just remember that you could have walked away before all of this began. You're going to need to bear that well in mind when I beat you to a bloody pulp.

Roy: After everything you've done, you don't deserve to stand here. In the name of all the people you've destroyed and ruined, we'll defeat you today.

Cordelia: This battle has been a long time coming, and I refuse to let you run after every monstrous sin you've committed.

Evenor: Is that where this is going then? Hmph… I invite you to try.

Aisa: We march at once… The time has come to finally end this wretched tale and bring peace to the souls of those lost at her hands.

You and the rest of your allies fall into combative positions in preparation for the battle ahead. Your forces are positioned at the top end of the field while Evenor's allies cluster around the bottom, right, and left. The central ballista is under her control, though it has seemingly been altered into a fire orb for the purpose of this battle. Given that the enemy ranks are filled with mages, the alteration makes perfect sense.

You rush into battle as soon as You can, fighting through the soldiers at Evenor's side. Many of their appearances match her own: pale yet dark. In other words, they are much the same as the other Agarthans who You have fought against previously. The remnants of the Empire's forces are elsewhere, no doubt preparing for other battles. For the time being though, You have a fight on your hands, and You vow to do all that You can to end it.

The fight is harrowing and long, but You and your allies eventually manage to push through to the back end of the field. Evenor, who is stationed far back on the left side of the field, awaits your arrival even as her numbers dwindle. She does not intend to give up this battle easily, and You can see her determination written clearly on her face.

If You initiate combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Evenor: Of all the people in this army… I was hoping I would never have to fight you. I know you're not going to back down though. Even after all I did for you to try and keep you out of the arms of the other beasts, you went right back to them. Still… As long as I cannot change your mind, this is where our history ends. I hope you've prepared yourself for a difficult fight, because I cannot let this go so easily!

If Aisa initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Evenor: Samiya was right. You are still alive.

Aisa: I could not leave Fódlan so soon in its hour of need.

Evenor: You seemed more than fine with that when you disappeared for the last few years. Don't you have even an ounce of shame?

Aisa: I could ask the same of you. After all the pain you have brought upon the rest of the world… You still do not regret it, do you?

Evenor: I don't regret it. I know what I did is disgusting in all of your eyes, but sacrifices must be made in the name of advancement. You've always tried to hold that back, haven't you?

Aisa: I–

Evenor: "It's what Saint Seiros would have wanted." That's what you're thinking, isn't it? That's not enough of an excuse for everything you've done to hold this continent back for the last thousand years.

Aisa: Detesting me for my choices is acceptable. I will not force you to change your mind in any way, but… I must reciprocate such animosity.

Evenor: Of course you must. Fine then. If this is the war you wish to wage, allow us to see who will come out as the victor!

If Roy initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Roy: I've been hoping I would share blows with you for quite some time. I've heard enough about everything you've done, and I'm not about to let you get away with it ever again.

Evenor: I have nothing to say to you. I don't regret what I did, and there's nothing you can say to change that fact either.

Roy: Of course not… I should have known you wouldn't step back and retract it all after so many years of suffering.

Evenor: This world needs to make sacrifices in the name of advancement. This was just another part of that, another price to pay.

Roy: And the lives of children within the Empire was a cheap enough price for you?

Evenor: If it wasn't, I wouldn't be here right now, would I?

Roy: In that case, prepare to die. It all ends here.

If Cordelia initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Cordelia: This is your definition of justice and progress, is it? Waging war against the rest of the world and tearing down those who have been left vulnerable at your hands?

Evenor: I don't regret anything I've done, if that's what you're searching for. This land is full of people who understand very little about the world, and in order to move forward, we must accept that there will be casualties.

Cordelia: You're not talking about casualties. You're talking about murder in the name of your own desires.

Evenor: If you wish to hate me for it, then so be it. I can't stop you, and I'm not going to try and change that fact either.

Cordelia: As long as you're not going to push back against me, I'll take advantage of that. I'm going to end all of this here and now. Make your peace with whatever gods you've chosen to worship for your celebration in hell.

Evenor: If you insist.

If Chris initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Evenor: You… I should have killed you five years ago. Any time we crossed paths, I thought I should have, but I always held back.

Chris: It's good to see your hatred of me still burns as strong as ever.

Evenor: You are my curse! You're the reason everything fell apart years ago! Without you, I would still be thriving at the top of Imperial society!

Chris: I didn't have any control over what happened. You can hate me for it all you want, but we both know Hendrix was the one who caused all of this. He decided you were fine to throw out… And for the first time ever, I find myself agreeing with him.

Evenor: After all that I did for him, it still wasn't enough in his eyes as soon as he realized you existed. Tch… Of all the people on this continent, you're one of those I revile the most.

Chris: You're welcome to hate me if that's the choice you want to make. But… I'm going to fight in the name of the good of Fódlan, and right now, that means destroying you.

Evenor: Argades failed before, but I won't falter this time. You die here and now. Understood?

Chris: Try it then. You won't get far.

If Polly initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Polly: You know… You must have more proteges out there than I ever could have expected.

Evenor: Oh? What makes you so certain of that?

Polly: My sister… Morgana. She was one of the victims of this experimentation. You couldn't have done it though. You would have already been pushed out of Adrestian society by that point.

Evenor: I did teach a lot of people to carry on my work. There's so much to be developed in this field I have uncovered.

Polly: That's your way of saying that you're alright with sacrificing others for that ambition… Fine then. If that's how you want to play it, I'll end all of this now. You're going to pay for what you've done, and I'll make sure of that myself!

If Zelhira initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Zelhira: I could never tell if I was more terrified or eager for our fight… I knew it was going to happen eventually.

Evenor: I suppose so… Though you've certainly enjoyed utilizing that new power of yours to make it this far, haven't you?

Zelhira: Maybe I have. You tore me apart in the name of your greed, and I feel like I'm justified in using that strength to my own advantage.

Evenor: I would have expected you to never want to think about it again.

Zelhira: I don't have that option. I've never had that choice. I don't have the freedom of selecting freely what I do or do not take advantage of in this war. But now… I would be more than happy to send you to the grave with the power you've given me.

Evenor: Try it then. You won't be able to best the one who made you as strong as you are!

If Hegias initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Hegias: Of all the people in the world… You're one of the last I ever wanted to fight.

Evenor: I had been hoping it would never come to this… I imagined you would choose me when push came to shove.

Hegias: Did you know it was going to come to this? Did you know that the war was going to start and end everything I had been building at Garreg Mach?

Evenor: I did not know specifically when anything was going to happen… Though it was only a matter of time before the tides began to change.

Hegias: You wanted me at the monastery as a spy for when the war finally began. But… You didn't think I was going to choose to fight against you.

Evenor: I had been hoping it would never come to this.

Hegias: I know… But as long as it has, I can't hold back. You're the one who got me this far. You pushed me when I knew there was no other place for me to go. At the same time though… That's the reason I must defeat you.

Evenor: I won't be defeated so easily, Hegias.

Hegias: I know… And I'm ready.

If Magnolia initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Magnolia: It's been a long time since I've last seen you, Evenor… But I knew it was just a matter of time before we crossed blows again.

Evenor: You've certainly grown from the student you once were… But I'm happy with that. It means I don't need to let sympathy get the better of me for fighting a child.

Magnolia: Would that sympathy even be present at all? I know the extent of what you did to those even younger than I.

Evenor: Hm… Perhaps not. It depends on the circumstances.

Magnolia: And what you can get out of those circumstances, I take it?

Evenor: You're a sharp one.

Magnolia: I am… And I'm going to use the power I've been granted to defeat you.

Evenor: I've been honing my craft of magic since before you were even born. You can try all you want… But I have no qualms about bringing about the downfall of a queen.

Magnolia: It wouldn't be the first time you destroyed the heart of a nation… But it will never stand as long as I draw breath.

If Illona initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Illona: It took me a long time to put the pieces together, you know… When we first met, I didn't know what you had really done.

Evenor: What I had done?

Illona: My uncle… You knew him. You taught him.

Evenor: I suppose I did. I didn't realize who you were when we first met either.

Illona: I can't just let you get away with everything you've done. I can't undo what happened to me, but… I owe it to everyone else who might suffer under your heel to stop you today.

Evenor: Then try to defeat me. It's bound to be a struggle for you. Even after all these years, I'm still standing here.

Illona: I know that… But I can't let you push me back now. I'm tired of faltering, and… This is where it all ends. I'm ready for you.

Evenor: If you insist. Give the battle all you have… If you think you can win.

If Raithius initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Raithius: Looking back, it feels so obvious that you were going to betray us. Someone like you doesn't exist without there being some sort of price.

Evenor: Why do you say that?

Raithius: You're filled to the brim with boundless knowledge about the mysteries of our world, and you were able to shed answers on something that nobody else understood… Suspicious, isn't it?

Evenor: I suppose you could see it that way.

Raithius: I wish I had been the one to turn on you first… It would have saved a lot of people a lot of trouble.

Evenor: Of course kings would be the ones to discuss the power of betrayal.

Raithius: I'm an archduke, for the record, and in times of war, we don't get the benefit of the doubt. We have to do what must be done, as simple as that.

Evenor: And you think my death is where it begins, hm?

Raithius: I don't think it… I know it. And I'm ready to face you with everything I have. Let's see just how sharp my blade has gotten these last five years!

If Wolfgang initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Wolfgang: You know… You might be one of the people on this continent that I hate the most.

Evenor: Hmph… I don't even know your name. What precisely have I done to earn your ire so fiercely?

Wolfgang: You teach people things… And those things spread like a sickness until there's no way for them to be stopped.

Evenor: I know what it means to bring about advancements and progress. That's all there is to it.

Wolfgang: Fine then. I knew you weren't going to repent… But I'm not here to complain about that. Instead, I'm just going to bring about my own type of progress… One that can only be found through your death. Do I make myself clear?

Evenor: Hmph… Crystal.

If Eli initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Eli: You know… A few people have arrived in Abyss over the last few years.

Evenor: Oh?

Eli: Some of them knew victims of yours… And it makes me wonder how you were able to get away with everything for so long.

Evenor: I was being defended by one of the most important men on the continent… Until he opted for betrayal, that is.

Eli: Of course… And now, the universe is finally catching up with you.

Evenor: But it's not going to find success here today.

Eli: You know… My people used to have a saying that one day, one way or another, the truth would make itself known, and those who have caused grief to others will understand its meaning themselves.

Evenor: And you think today will be the day that happens to me?

Eli: I am certain of it. I refuse to allow you to give this world any more pain… It all ends today. For the people you have destroyed, for those who have suffered under your thumb without ever finding the strength needed to push back… I will defeat you.

Evenor: Then do it, young leader of Abyss… Show me what you can do.

If anyone else initiates combat with Evenor, the following dialogue plays out.

Evenor: It was just a matter of time before we battled one another… But I refused to allow your army to claim the upper hand. I'm here to defeat all of you, and there's nothing You can do to stop it now. I invite you to try as much as you want though… You'll fail though. In the name of Fódlan and the people of Shambhala, allow me to destroy each and every one of you here today. No fight now will bring you victory!

When Evenor is defeated, the following dialogue plays out.

Evenor: You've grown stronger… Damn it all… Beasts, every last one of you…

After the battle, You approach Evenor, Sirius grasped firmly between your fingers. Evenor is doubled over on the ground, supporting herself with a single arm. She looks up to You carefully and slowly.

Evenor: Here we are then… You've won. After all this time, you finally rose above me… The student surpasses the teacher.

You shake your head and say that You want to understand why all of this happened.

Evenor: Remorse, is it? Do you pity having to take my life? This is the path you've chosen, and this is what that means. You must understand that.

You say that You do understand what this means for You, but You want to know why Evenor went so far to begin with.

Evenor: This world has forsaken my people for too long… Those of Shambhala… They have been suffering. The time has finally arrived for us to rise above, and I was going to be the one who ushered in this new era.

You ask what she is referring to.

Evenor: The Crests… Their power was going to bring us a new dawn. If we could master their strength the way all of you had… Things would have changed. At long last, the tides would have shifted. We would have had the strength to bring this wretched world to its knees and finally reclaim what was rightfully ours.

You say that treating people in such a way would not have been worth it in the name of her goals.

Evenor: I did what I had to… And that was how we met. You were always special. Even after everyone else crumbled to the dirt, you managed to survive. You stood above the rest, the sole survivor of the calamity… You were special, and I couldn't just let you rot away in the palace.

You ask if she took You away after learning of Hendrix's plans to have You replaced.

Evenor: He already made up his mind, and he wasn't going to let you stick around. You were direct proof of his lies, and he couldn't allow that. Still, it would have been a waste for your talents at survival and innate power from your Crest to rot away in some corner of Faerghus or Leicester alongside your mother following her exile. I knew you deserved better, and I was determined to give it to you.

You shake your head and say that it wasn't right.

Evenor: I care little for right or wrong. Worrying too much about morality will only hold you back in the end, and I refused to be pulled away like that. Now… I'm proud of my decisions. I simply wish that you could have stood beside me on this path.

You tell her that You would never have been able to do such a thing.

Evenor: I know… Beautiful things can never stay for long. I should have known better than to believe that this would be different.

You say that now, things must end with her death.

Evenor: I understand that… I lost. I knew the risks when I came here, but I believed I would win… I was a fool.

You hesitate before thanking her for raising You.

Evenor: Thanking me… I never thought I would hear that from you again. Too many years have passed… Still, if this is the way I must fall, there's no better person to do it than you. After all, I was the one who gave you that power of yours. You would have never come so far without me… And now, you have turned that strength against me.

You nod before raising Sirius above your head.

Evenor: I regret nothing… But I wish we could have stayed together a bit longer. If only… But that time has long since passed now. We knwo where we stand now… And I will not beg for mercy. It all ends here, and I know how. Goodbye.

You strike downwards, and Evenor collapses on the ground below, dead. You stare down at her body even as You let your blade fall back to your side. You swallow dryly at the sight of her, uncertain as to what to think or say next.

Seraphine: She didn't want us to go with Janae after the experimentation… She thought we were meant to stay with her.

You shake your head and say that it was her decision, and it was the wrong one.

Seraphine: You're right. It was wrong. I'm not going to deny that… But I wish she hadn't taken this path to begin with. She shouldn't have decided on violence from the beginning.

You nod and say that You wish it hadn't ended this way either, but this is simply the hand You have been dealt.

Seraphine: She seemed sorry, but I know that's not enough. All of your siblings… They died at her hand. You and Argades were the only ones left for years, and now, you are the only one who remains. She was the one who caused all of that damage, and we can't reverse that.

You nod once more as You look back to Evenor's unmoving body. You still cannot believe that she is gone, but You do not say another word on the matter.

Seraphine: But I do have to wonder… The way she was speaking about the Crests felt a bit vague and strange, didn't it? She thought that power would be enough to defeat the others across the continent, but even with Crests on our side, we've still spent the last five years struggling. What exactly could hse have been referring to?

You shake your head, admitting that You do not know.

Seraphine: I suppose we should go and speak with the others now though.

You nod, saying that they will likely want to hear from You.

Seraphine: Yes… And they'll need to know that Evenor is gone.

You return to the rest of the party, finding Aisa, Roy, and Cordelia engaged in a deep conversation. They have cleared out the rest of the enemy forces and are no doubt discussing the return to the monastery.

Cordelia: Ah, Professor. I'm glad to see you back.

Roy: Is she…?

You nod, saying that Evenor is gone.

Roy: Good. We knew there was some sort of connection between the two of you, and it didn't feel right for us to get in the way of that. You deserved to speak with her a bit more before we set off for the day.

You thank them for their kindness.

Cordelia: Of course. It was the least we could offer.

You hesitate before saying that You have a question for them.

Aisa: What is it?

You say that Evenor seemed to believe in some power of the Crests, but You are uncertain as to what it could have possibly meant. She seemed to think that it would have given her the power to reclaim the continent, but You do not know if the Crests alone could have given her the strength she sought.

Aisa: In times long gone, the Agarthans lived alongside the Nabateans, the latter of which were known as the children of the goddess. The two went to war, and when the Nabateans won, the Agarthans retreated beneath the earth. I imagine that she was hoping to reclaim her place on the main continent after all this time.

You say that this was likely her motive for the Crest experimentation.

Roy: She no doubt wanted to refine her craft before trying it on the other Agarthans with a bit more fervor and confidence. After all, if she really thought that would have given her the power to reclaim the realm…

Cordelia: She wouldn't have wanted to try it out on her own people. She targeted humans, and luckily for her, there was a man looking for that strength already… The Adrestian Emperor.

Aisa: As for the power that she refers to that could have aided her people along with the Crests… I have an inkling as to what she was speaking about, but I have no solid proof that she was specifically thinking about what I suspect.

Roy: Would you at least share your suspicions with us when you get the chance?

Aisa: Perhaps I can share it with you when we return to the monastery. For now, I believe our troops need time to replenish themselves after this battle.

Cordelia: You're right… Okay. Let's go.

Aisa: You are okay with waiting a short while longer to hear the truth?

Cordelia: Yes. I trust you.

Roy: It seems we're going to have to wait a bit longer before we can truly begin our campaign in Adrestia. We should return to the monastery and recover our strength before marching south. Perhaps we'll be lucky enough to uncover more information about Samiya's location at the end of all this.

You nod your understanding.

Aisa: I imagine Janae will be looking forward to hearing of our successes as well. Given everything Evenor did to her five years ago… She will need to hear of Evenor's death as soon as possible.

Cordelia: In that case, let's go. Samiya is still out there, and we need to prepare for her next attack. Beyond that, I think we've all earned a bit of time to celebrate Evenor's death now that we've succeeded in defeating her.

You nod before leaving alongside the rest of your allies. Your journey back to the monastery is relatively uneventful, and when You return, You start towards the top floor of the monastery. You find Janae there looking out over the grounds below, and You approach her carefully.

Janae: I saw that you had all returned… I was hoping to not disturb you after your difficult battle though.

You shake your head and say that You have something to tell her.

Janae: What is it?

You tell her that You defeated Evenor that day.

Janae: You mean… She's gone?

You nod, saying that she will never cause You any more grief again.

Janae: I can't believe she's really…

You ask how she is feeling.

Janae: …Grateful. After everything she did, I'm glad that she won't be able to hurt either one of us again.

You say that You heard a bit from her about her actions years ago as well.

Janae: What did she tell you?

You explain how Evenor took You with her so that You would not miss out on your potential after a probable exile from the Empire. She meant to make You into her protege because You had proven yourself strong enough to survive the experimentation.

Janae: I see…

You shake your head and confess that You do not remember anything that happened while You were with Evenor, but You are almost glad to have forgotten in some ways.

Janae: It would have been hard to kill her if you still remember everything that she did for you. That would have been holding you back during the fight.

You nod and say that You are happy to live with Janae now.

Janae: Yes… I'm glad to have you back at my side after all this time too. I missed you desperately over the years you were away from me, but… We're together once more now. That's what matters most.

You slowly wrap your arms around her body, glad to simply have her there for You.

Janae: After this war ends… I want to catch up on all our lost time. We've missed so much over the years, and… I want to do everything I can to be the mother I should have been from the start. I know I didn't have any way of helping you before, but… I think it's about time that changed.

You smile and say that You would like that.

Janae: I'll be looking forward to it then.

You remain on the third floor of the monastery with Janae for a few minutes longer before You retreat to your room. Seraphine manifests once You are alone.

Seraphine: Now that Evenor is gone… How do you feel?

You hesitate before saying that You are glad to be with Janae.

Seraphine: That's not the question I asked.

You admit that You are not sure about how to feel.

Seraphine: I understand… If I had to guess, I would say that I was born of the experimentation. If I've been with you for about seventeen or eighteen years ago, the timeline would match up well to when you were being experimented on in the palace.

You nod and say that even if the experimentation was awful for everyone involved, You are glad You were able to meet Seraphine at the end of it all.

Seraphine: Yes… I'm happy to be here too. My existence doesn't make up for all those who suffered in order for us to survive, but I want to make the most of the gift we've been given… The gift of life.

You smile and thank Seraphine for being there.

Seraphine: Of course. It's the least I can do.

You look down to the ground somberly.

Seraphine: You know… All of this has me thinking about how easy it is for multiple truths to coexist. Evenor raised us and gave you the ability to fight. At the same time, she was responsible for unspeakable harm against others. Those two facts can exist at the same time, and that's just… Our reality.

You nod and say that it does not make things any easier for You to deal with personally.

Seraphine: I know… Still, it's something to keep in mind, I suppose. Emotions are complicated.

You thank Seraphine for her kindness once more.

Seraphine: It's the least I can do. Now… Why don't we try to get a bit more rest for the night? It's getting late, and I think you could use some sleep sooner rather than later.

You nod before settling down for the night.

Seraphine: Goodnight, Professor. Until morning.

Sleep protests your wishes for quite some time, but You eventually manage to grasp it for yourself. You are still high off the emotions of the day, but You know that everything will calm down with time.
