Standing in the cold air of Skyrim, I looked at the person in front of me. The Nordic woman just stood there looking at me challengingly. With Sky blue eyes and long blonde hair, she was the perfect image of a Nordic woman. And well, I wouldn't dare to forget about the bulging muscles.

I guess you would like to know what is going on right about now, right? Well, remember last time? Last time I remembered that I was going to go to Helgen. And who would I find there? Apparently a bandit chief.

"It seems like you underestimate my willingness to slaughter my own countrymen. Do you really think that the fact that you are a Nord is going to stop me from ripping your heart out? "

She only smirked at me confidently. We were standing in front of each other at the gates of Helgen. At her back was a couple of bandits. At my back stood a horde of undead. On my right, Lydia fingered her sword. I have no idea why, but this woman was getting on my nerves pretty badly. I don't really remember ever getting so mad. Well, besides that one incident...But that's...that's the past.

Apparently, she insisted on making me even more angry. Well, she's going to very much regret that. With a sneer, I snapped my fingers. In a millisecond, my whole hoard of my undead minions started to swarm the bandits. They might have had an advantage in numbers over us, but my troops are way, way better. With that, the skirmish commenced. I stood back, letting my forces deal with the pests. And apparently I was wrong as well. The woman is not really weak. She was swinging that huge double headed war axe like it was a toothpick.

Worse yet, she was managing to actually destroy some of my undead soldiers. I really didn't like that .So with another sneer, I drowned her in my magical spells. It seems like she realized that she was underestimating me. The first signs of panic were setting in. Well. I am glad that I was right for once. With the kind of my luck and her attitude, I was afraid that she had some other way of completely destroying me and my forces. I hope that I was wrong. Because as much as I enjoyed the look of terror on the woman's face, this could be just an act. So I had to remain vigilant to the end of the battle.

My caution paid off when a rain of arrows started pouring down on my forces. I was about to cast a magical barrier, but before I could do that, Lydia shielded me with her...Well, shield. With the small numbers of my soldiers, most of them were just too overpowered for such weak attack to destroy them. Some of them were damaged, yes, but most of them stayed fine. With a grateful nod to Lydia, I stared back on the battlefield.

What once was a force of 20 bandits was now a couple of dead corpses. Speaking of dead corpses, mine were just walking through the gate. After a few seconds of staring at the dead, we followed our forces. Skeletons and zombies were climbing up the walls, killing The Archers. The bandit chief was holding strong, but it was quite visible that she was growing weak.

After a few minutes of absolute slaughter, something like a last stand was going on with the bandit chief and a few of her... best, I guess standing in a circle back-to-back defending from my endless horde. I raise my left hand and commanded my soldiers to stand down for now.

"I told you it was unwise to underestimate me, didn't I? I really don't understand you bandits. You can see that my forces are far superior to yours, and yet you still insist on fighting me. How...idiotic. I see there is no way for you to surrender Without a fight. . So maybe we should have a duel. Leader against leader. If you win, you can go. If I win, you surrender. What will it be? " In truth, there is no fucking way I would actually be able to keep up with her. Without my magic, that is. And she is severely weakened from the battle before.

Sometimes I think about those people. Those that made everything by hand and didn't have anyone to help them, or anything for that matter. And I? I am just busting through everything they have built. And it's not like I gained my strength myself. I had the aid of the gamer system. Sometimes I really think like I am the evil one here. And then I remembered that yes, I am the evil one. Always have been and always will be.

I guess I got to do this once in a while. Enemy status.

A foolish interloper that dared to stand in your way to ultimate power. Take care of her.

Huh. Haven't done that in quite a while. What intrigues me here is that there is no way she would have gotten so high stamina and health in a normal process of leveling up. I wonder how the NPCs do it. Well, none of my concern. Also, she is really tired. And I didn't even break a sweat. That would certainly give me an advantage. Well, here are my stats for reference.

You...duh

Another thing that I have noticed about NPCs levels. They are restricted. Their overall level is the sum of their first, second and third class. Fortunately, I am not restricted to such a thing. Which means if I complete a class, I can take a new one right up.

Glancing around at her people, she notices that they are expecting for her to accept. Without much of a choice, she does. Stepping forward, she enters a battle position. It is obvious from her heaving chest that she is very tired. I strut forward without much of a problem. I stand there in an easy position. I am quite sure that she sees the expectation in my eyes.

Finally, after a long, agonizing second, she charges me with her axe over her head and a battle cry on her lips. Yes, there is no way I'm blocking that. So I sidestep her blow and twirl around, smacking the back of my scythe upside her head. She fell down on her hands and knees. I stepped back, making my intentions of not killing her quite easy to get. She pushed herself up and at the same time threw herself at me with her axe at the helm. She failed, of course, I buttered the axe aside and kneed her in her jaw. Granted, that was a very weak swing. If she was at her best, I wouldn't even be able to scratch her.

"Come on. This is pathetic. Do you yield or should I just kill you? " I made sure to put as much disappointment in my question as I could.

Well. It seems like I just angered her. With another roar, she once again slung herself at me. Rolling away from the attack, I hooked my scythe on her leg and pulled. Needless to say, she went down. And I even think that I heard a crack when she hit the ground with her head. Seems like someone broke her nose.

"Tell me, do you know what is the definition of insanity? "Apparently she was done because she didn't get up. Kicking away her weapon, I walked closer. "The definition of insanity, my dear, is doing the same thing again and again and again expecting different results. " I didn't receive an answer.

The moment I looked back at the bandits, they threw down their weapons. With a smirk, I waited for my soldiers to collect them before giving my next order. "Kill the men and take the women. And tie up their leader." With that, I turned my back on the screaming prisoners and entered the fort.

"My Lord. "

"Yes, what is it Lydia." I looked back at her. I'd like to think that I'm quite a long way with corrupting her.

"What do you plan to do with this Fort? " I took a second to think.

"That's actually a good question. To be honest, I have no idea what we're going to do with all this. All I wanted to do here was to destroy the Imperial presence. But apparently there wasn't even any imperial presence to begin with. I'll have to think about that. " Now that I think about it having a foothold in tamriel would be nice, but in the long run leaving my soldiers here would weaken me. Maybe I should look into getting some living followers.

Maybe some necromancers and dark mages might join in to have some solitude to practice their magic. I could also look into recruiting some bandits. A shame I didn't think of that earlier when I was ordering an execution of the former residents. Oh well, live and learn as they say.

And in that moment I got a notification.

Congratulations master!

You have successfully taken over your first Fort!

Now you can establish a link to your pocket dimension!

How to do it?!

You simply have to burn highest ranking (magical) prisoner that once inhabited this place in the middle of your new domain!

Your domains will generate a passive income!

Your domains count as your area of influence, therefor, the undead you leave here will not weaken the soldiers that are with you!

...

I sometimes think that I am playing on easy mode. Well, it's not like I'm complaining or anything... Just... Saying. Anyway, the idea with recruitment of live soldiers is not bad so I will definitely use it in the future.

Fortunately, I think I saw a female mage amongst the bandits. That would be just unfortunate if I killed off all the mages, wouldn't it? I went to the middle of the town and waited for my soldiers to drag a female mage to my position. Do you have any idea how fun a conversation with a person that you know is going to be dead in a second can be? I am actually starting to think that when people are terrified by me, I somehow grow in strength. This needs some further research.

A lot of screaming, pleading and crying later.

The pole in the middle of the stake began to glow a weird purple shine. Suddenly, a circle of metal appeared in the sky in a cloud of smoke. Jagged Chains shot out from it. When they anchored to the ground, they started leaking a...Weird...Purple...thing. After that, the mist from my pocket dimension appeared. I guess that uh, weird purple thing is kinda of my sea. Weird.

And with that, I created my first foothold in Tamriel. Next stop. Mages College in Winterhold. I wonder how they will greet me there. From what I remember, they don't have any problems with necromancy. Perhaps I will even be able to convince them to join the stormcloak cause. Well, it remains to be seen.
