The next morning, Lucy and Max was helping their mother and stepfather bring their things out to the car. Lucy was frowning the entire time. She hated that her mother was going to be leaving her here with Billy.

"Lucy? I got a call this morning before you woke up. It was the agency. They want you to come in later today to have a photoshoot. Billy will be taking you there later." Susan told her eldest daughter.

"Oh, ok." Lucy nodded but was worried about being alone with Billy still, now even more. "I think Max is going to be staying with El Harper. Jim is taking them to the skating rink for one of their friend's birthdays. She will be back later tomorrow." Susan told her.

Lucy looked at her mother. "Oh ok. Would it be ok if I go stay at Chrissy's place?" Lucy asked. "Sure hun. I don't think that would be a bad idea." She told her. Lucy smiled. Happy her mom agreed.

Max and Lucy stood there while Neil made sure everything was good and ready as Billy came up to the sisters. Lucy tensed up as his large handed went onto her shoulder. She froze as he gave her shoulder a warning squeeze.

She looked at the hand on her shoulder stiffly.

He looked down at her with a grin. A twisted and dark grin.

It made her blood run cold. She needed to get out of here as quickly as she could. Away from him. She had no idea why he was acting like this lately. It confused her. Why mess with her like he has been.

She wanted it to stop, and she wanted to run it by Chrissy. Maybe they can invite Nancy over, and all of them can talk about this. It would help her to talk things out. She couldn't talk to her mother. She didn't want to ruin her marriage with Neil.

They were working on their marriage, so Lucy didn't want to ruin that for them. That would make Lucy feel just awful. Susan loved Neil, and Neil loved Susan. Susan has gotten Neil to stop hurting his son as much.

Even got him in anger management with the threat of divorce. She needed the support of Lucy and another friend of Susan do it, but she did it. The household has been less stiff and scary.

But between Neil and Billy. Things were still tense.

Billy doesn't really help with that.

Max and Lucy waved at the parents as they drove away. Lucy unknowingly held Max close to her. She was scared. Max, looked at her. "Imma go pack." She told her sister. Lucy let go seeing she was holding her shoulders.

"Ok hun." She said, then watched as Max ran inside. "I should go shower and get ready for the photoshoot." She mumbled to Billy who still had a grip on her shoulder. Billy gave her shoulder another squeeze before letting her go.

Once she was freed, she dashed off back into the house. Away from him.

Billy watched her with a chuckle and grin. Like a scared little rabbit running from the wolves. And the wolf was getting hungry.
