Chapter 9

The next morning

The morning started off with everyone trying to relax themselves. Only for the attempted chance of peace being ruined by the sounds of Geoff crying. The sombrero wearing teen sobbed very loudly as he was trying to apologize to Bridgette from within the confessional can. Although he told the surfer girl that he never voted for her, which did confirm to be a lie. That didn't mean that Geoff wasn't going to be let off the hook as he was left tied up while hanging upside down last night.

In a way, it disciplined Geoff to avoid comitting treachery and removing any thoughts of treachery. It also doesn't help that lying to a girl will likely damage any chance of a romantic relationship.

"I'm sorry Bridgette!" Geoff cried out.

Regardless of who is happy, depressed, angry, fearful, excited or whatever human emotions are polluting the atmosphere. A challenge was still inevitable. So it is more than likely that fear would be clouding everyone's mind today.

"I think it's time for me to start off the day with everyone's favorite summer time activity." Chris said as he blew a loud horn. Where he then spoke into the microphone, "Good morning campers! I hope you are all excited! Because I have a special surprise for you today!" he announces.

A short while later

After everyone gathered at a shed. Chris prepared several boxes filled with various tools and mechanical parts being handled by the interns.

"What's up with the outhouse?" Duncan asked.

"It was an outhouse, but not anymore. It's where Chef keeps his hot rod." Chris answered as he opened the door.

Where the boys were met with the beautiful sight of an amazing chopper. One that was clean, fully functional and ready for it's rider leave tries streaks wherever it's riden. Unfortunately, the boys would have no hope to ever ride something that amazing in their lives.

"Which brings me to your next challenge. You all get to make your own hot rods!" Chris announces.

"Seriously!? That's awesome!" Owen exclaims.

"Calm down Owen, he probably just wants us to make death traps in the shape of bikes." Duncan said stopping the excitement.

Chris shrugged, "A bike is nice and acceptable, but boring. You all get to make whatever you want. Mostly depending on what you can make with these parts." he said as an intern opened up a box. "So long as it has wheels and can move you from Point A to Point B. It counts!" he said.

Owen got excited again, "Literally anything with wheels is okay!?" he asked.

"Is there a rule against how many seat belts we can put on?" DJ asked fearfully.

"No rules, I'll explain the rest later. You have until the end of the timeframe to get to work." Chris said as he left the campers alone to work.

Elsewhere

Junko was let out sounds of frustration as she was drawing on a map, "This course is impossible. I swear, someone might need to modify the island or something." she said as she scratched her head.

Kanna looked at her old sister's map, "Reality marble." she suggested.

Junko snorted, "Maybe, the cameras were able to record the course of Uzushio." she said as she repeatedly clicked her pen. "Hey, maybe Hades can let me recreate the course in the underworld!" she said.

"Not all humans can handle the underworld." Kanna replied.

"I know Kanna, I'm just going to sketch it and then make it inside of a Reality Marble." Junko said before a helmet was slapped onto her head.

"Wear this." Naruto said as he appeared out of nowhere.

"Dad! Where did… why… I don't want a stupid helmet!" Junko complained.

"Your mother wants you to practice safety." Naruto replied.

Junko growled as she tried to take it off, "I'm not even racing!" she argued.

"It doesn't matter." Naruto said.

"Then why isn't Kanna wearing one?" Junko asked.

That's when Naruto quickly strapped Kanna onto a baby carrier for his chest, "This is why." he answered.

"Yay." Kanna said as she made a pose.

"Anyways, Pane and Panic are here. Hades already wanted to set up shop." Naruto said as the two imps appeared.

Both of whom were wearing pit stop crew uniforms. Along with fake mustaches in an attempt to blend in with the humans. Along with them came several interns who were also dressed up like mechanics with various tools.

"We're ready for the big race!" Pane said with a salute.

"Yeah and um, how dangerous are we going to make this?" Panic asked with a nervous gaze.

"Super dangerous! Right after I take off this stupid helmet!" Junko yells.

30 minutes before the challenge begins

With the vehicles mostly finished. Naruto arrived with the crew that Pane and Panic had set up. Surprisingly, Naruto himself was also wearing a mechanic's uniform with a pair of sunglasses to hide his eyes. Leaving everyone wondering if the big bad dragon was trying to keep his identity concealed during the whole show. That or if he's aspiring to be a super model of some kind.

"Everyone step forward and present you vehicle for a quick inspection. Consider this the preliminary round." Naruto announced as everyone got their vehicles ready.

Duncan managed to create a motorized bicycle along with Geoff. They would have went further if they had more experience with motorized vehicles and parts that connected. The interns that inspected their rides, nodded after checking everything.

"Passable." one said as they marked Duncans bike.

"Yes!" Duncan said.

"Pass!" another said for Geoff's bike.

"Sweet! Though I wouldn't mind the boost." Geoff said.

"We have nitros in the shop over there. Along with extra parts for speed and other enhancements." one of the interns said.

"Nice, this thing has a lot of rubber to burn." Duncan said as he went to a shop being set up.

Owen came up with a wide go cart, "You guys like my ride?" he asked.

His assigned intern checked the clipboard, "Everything checks out, pretty versatile." he said.

"Heck yeah it's versa- whatever you said!" Owen said with a chuckle.

DJ was covered in armor as he came in with what looked like a mini van. The intern gave him a concerned look as he inspected the vehicle. They weren't sure if they should intervene as all of the safety equipment looked ready to get stuck or break down. Regardless, if this thing survived, it would reach last place in the race.

"You want me to set you up with an ejection seat? There's no extra cost or penalty." the intern asked. DJ rapidly nodded, "I'll throw in a lot of kevlar too." they said as DJ smiled.

Lindsay came in with a cute moped with a unicorn head, "It's the cutest thing don't you think?" she asked.

The intern shrugged, "Acceptable, or do you want to take the time to put more glitter?" they asked sarcastically.

"You have more glitter!?" Lindsay asked excitedly.

Heather came in with a decently built motorized bicycle, "As you can see, my bike is street legal." she said.

"Lady, there's nothing illegal here unless someone else built it for you." the intern said after giving the vehicle a passing grade.

However there were another pair of interns that were still waiting, "Has anyone seen Leshawna and Izzy?" one of them asked.

With the girls

Leshawna literally had no idea what to do for the challenge. She had ridden a bike in her childhood as well as doing it a few times as a teenager. Sure she had also gotten a learner's permit to drive a car. Except none of that gave her any experience with knowing how to put together a mode of transportation. She didn't even know where to put a pedal that she found in a box. However, Leshawna was surprised to see Izzy had put together a small car.

Then finding herself being dragged on a joyride with the crazy girl. All around the woods, the two were driving around aimlessly in hopes of not crashing into a tree.

"Stop this crazy girl!" Leshawna yelled.

Izzy laughed, "What's wrong? Are we moving too slow?" she asked.

"Girl, stop this crazy thing!" Leshawna demanded.

"OK!" Izzy said as she drove to a sudden halt.

Causing Leshawna to almost fly out of her seat, "What's wrong with you girl!? We're gonna miss the challenge now!" she exclaimed.

Izzy continued to laugh, "Don't worry. I'll just help you set up your own ride and we'll be fine." she said as she adjusted herself.

Only to stop as she saw another crudely made car pull up next to her. Where Izzy saw Milim in the driver's seat wearing a leather jacket and dark tinted sunglasses. The pink haired girl gave her a gaze that demanded a challenge. With Milim going as far as to put some pressure into her pedal to goad Izzy. Izzy smirked as she did the same thing as if to accept the challenge.

"Oh no! No, no, no! We are not going into a street race with Milim!" Leshawna said.

"We're not going on a street race Leshawna, so relax." Izzy said.

"Oh thank goodness." Leshawna said as she let out a sigh of relief.

"We're going through a woods race! Through the woods!" Izzy said as she put a lot of pressure on the pedal.

"NOOOO!" Leshawna screams as the two cars burst through the woods at high speeds.

Back to the challenge

With the racers set up and ready to burn rubber or wood or whatever everyone used to create wheels. Chris arrived to explain the twist of the upcoming challenge.

"Hey everybody, are you all excited?" Chris asked as he received various reactions. "Too bad! Because none of you are riding your own rides!" he announced as he pulled out a helmet full of tickets.

"Then what's the point of this!?" Duncan asked angrily.

"You all get to ride someone else's ride!" Chris answered.

"What does that mean?" Heather asked as she sounded annoyed.

"It means, whichever vehicle makes it to the finish line during the first course. Will move on and qualify for the next round." Chris explained.

Everyone felt confused, "So we're riding someone else's bike or car and make them qualify?" Duncan asked.

"Pretty much." Chris answered happily.

"Then what's the point? We can just sabotage these things." Duncan asked.

"It wouldn't matter, because then everyone would be disqualified. Except for Izzy and Leshawna who are still missing." Chris said as he heard the drag race in the background.

Everyone groaned as they all took a ticket and read the names. Most notably, Heather obtained the ticket for DJ's bike while Lindsay took hers. Seeing this, Heather pulled Lindsay aside to give her new instructions. using this alliance, Heather was going to use this as a chance to guarantee another victory for herself.

"Listen, if you think you're about to fall behind or lose. Hit the button on the handle. It should make you move faster." Heather instructed as Lindsay nods.

"And finally, Naruto if you will show us the course!" Chris said.

Naruto raised his palms and slammed them together. Before the campers realized it, they were all in some deathly silent place. Around them, they saw a colorless river around them with a dangerous course filled with sharp rocks and skeletons. Along with what appeared to be ghosts or even wraiths that were wandering around. It was difficult to describe these dead spirits as they moved like air, but were clearly strong enough to maintain their presence.

Some of the campers could even see spirits floating in the river. With many falling over a large waterfall at the end of the course.

"Welcome to course of Hades." Naruto announced, making everyone shiver in fear.

"The Greek Underworld!?" Gwen asked.

"Underworld? So are we under the dirt?" Lindsay asked.

"It's the realm of the dead! We're dead!" Owen screamed.

"You are not dead. Now be quiet." Naruto interrupted. "The course is based on the realm of the dead. However, to qualify as Chris said. You must navigate through this death trap. Doing so, the owner of your vehicle will move onto the final round." he explained.

"That's a rip!" Duncan said angrily.

"What's the point then? We can't guarantee our own victory!" Heather exclaimed.

Naruto looked down at his daughter, "Kanna, if you will." he said.

Kanna nodded as she pulled out a box, "You all get keychains for second place. Did I do good daddy?" she asked.

"You did perfect." Naruto said as he rubbed his daughter's head.

"Keychain!?" Heather asked angrily.

"Sweet! Let's get the show on the road! Also, if my go cart wins. Can I get two?" Owen asked.

"I want one too!" Lindsay squealed.

"I bet Bridgette wouldn't mind a nice one." Geoff said outloud.

Geoff's Confessional

Geoff held out a custom made keychain, "Bridge, I know it's not enough, but it's a start! I'll make it up to you!" he promised.

Duncan's Confessional

Duncan slapped his forehead, "With all of this pointless crap. The only good thing to know is that there is an afterlife." he said before laughing. "Way to go science nerds! All that work and debating and souls exist!" he said as he continued to laugh.

By now, every scientist and religious leader was likely angry at this show for showing "lies" and whatnot. Only to be later horrified once the stolen evidence of the creatures believed to have been of fantasy now exist. That and people debating the concept of where humans came from and what happens after death.

"Still, mom and dad never really got me into spiritual stuff, but this felt satisfying. Then again, who is in charge of this place?" Duncan asked now looking fearful.

Back to the races

With everyone lined up and ready to race. Chris stood at the top of a tower and prepared his airhorn. While Kanna stood on a tower on the opposite side with a checkered flag in her hands. Most of the racers looked excited and very optimistic while others were just praying that they don't die and end up in the real underworld.

"Ready! Set! GO!" Chris yells as he blows his airhorn.

As the race started, Pane and Panic took their seats a table with microphones next to Chef. The latter looking well dressed with a trucker hat on his head in place of his usual chef hat.

"I'm Pane!"

"I'm Panic!"

"And today, we have Master Chef Hatchet with us. Now tell us Chef, what are the odds that no one is ending up needing a hospital room?" Pane asked.

Chef sighed, "You should be asking who has a chance of not ending up in the emergency room." He replied.

"You heard it here folks! Steer clear and put on your seat belt!" Pane announced.

Heather scoffed, "This stupid thing is nothing but seatbelts!" she yells as DJ's bike made her very slow.

It didn't matter, as the race was full of sharp turns and dangerous looking rocks. The Underworld was meant to be a passage for the dead in Greek mythology. For Abrahamic religions, they usually be judged by God himself with some being stuck in Purgator which would be between Heaven and Hell. At least then, the campers would only feel the pain of not suffering but being trapped in an endless pit with seconds feeling like years. What a time to be alive!

"Why are there so many ghosts!? Doesn't anyone know to take care of their health!?" Duncan asked.

"They probably became jailbirds like you Duncan!" Gwen yells as she speeds past him.

"Seriously!? How fast did Owen make that thing!?" Duncan asked before Owen also passed him.

"This thing is going to kill me!" Owen screamed as he was riding Duncan's bike.

While for once, Duncan put in some thought for safety and handling for this challenge. The motorized bike was also amplified by a heavy amount of nitrous. Making it move beyond the speeds of a normal motorbike and almost fast enough to keep up with most motorcycles.

"Just slam the skull hood ornament when you make it to the finish!" Duncan yells as he tries to keep up. "Seriously Lindsay, you couldn't make your stupid moped any faster?" Duncan asked as he was riding Lindsay's creation.

Ironically, Lindsay did reach him, "If I made it faster, then I might get it dirty… and crash. That's bad too I guess." she said before moving past Duncan.

"And Duncan falls behind at fourth place!" Panic announces.

"It takes a man swallow his pride… but it takes a lady to ride around with pretty sparkles, rainbows and unicorns! HAHAHAHA!" Chef laughs.

"You heard here folks. Let's have a round of applause for Princess Duncan!" Pane said into the microphone.

"PRINCESS!"

"PRINCESS!"

"PRINCESS!"

"PRINCESS!"

"PRINCESS!"

"SHUT UP!" Duncan shouts before hearing a loud crash. "What was that?" Duncan asked.

"And that's a gnarly wipeout for DJ and Geoff! Poor Gwen won't make it to the finals!" Pane announces.

"They should have added more bolts on Geoff's bike. That thing was rickety and ready to fall once DJ sat his butt down." Chef comments.

"I hope it doesn't get worse from here." Panic said.

*CRASH*

"I spoke too soon. Poor Heather." Panic whispered.

"The dumb girl should have paid attention to where she was driving!" Chef said.

"MEDIC!" Panic shouts.

By then, Lindsay managed to finish first with Gwen following behind her on Owen's go cart and Owen just finishing in third place by just an inch. Leaving Duncan to finish fourth and last place on Lindsay's moped. At the same time, Owen managed to stop Duncan's ride causing it to halt in place. Making him crash into a river filled with souls. Don't worry folks, it's simulated, they're not real.

"Oh my gosh! Great Uncle Harry!?" Owen asked.

"Wow, four victors and with DJ's bike crashing last. He gets the secret bonus prize." Pane announced.

DJ hid head under the bike wreckage, 'I won't like this.' he thought.

"A special set of not only keychains, but refrigerator magnets!" Pane announced as DJ popped his head out.

"Oh, that's nice. I bet mama will like them and maybe some of my cousins too." DJ said as he left to collect his prize.

A few minutes before the next race

DJ stood up and held the case containing fine keychains and refrigerator magnets while someone took his photo. Meanwhile Geoff and Gwen onl got one keychain for themselves since they technically lost the race. Though DJ seems to be the most happy as he was able to avoid any long lasting pain and got a decent prize.

"And now onto the next part of the race. That everyone managed to survive long enough to make it to." Panic said as he scratched the back of his head nervously.

"And with us, here comes the guest of honor!" Pane said as a giant burst of blue flames appeared.

Where the ghostly shadow of a pale man with yellow eyes, skin that was gray enough to look decayed, sharpened teeth that no human would ever have and blue fire in place of hair. The ethereal looking man with the apparel of a typical Greek man raised his arms and basked in the glory of his appearance.

"Hey brats! I bet you didn't expect to see who ran the underworld!" The man said.

Pane quickly picked up a script, "From the depths of the underworld, the oldest son of Kronos, brother of the King of Olympus and King of the sea. The very man who put the devil in his place and takes no nonsense from anyone. The very man who brought the legendary Hercules to his knees more than once. Ruler of the undead, HADES!" He announces loudly into the microphone as fireworks behind Hades.

Now Heather started to shake in mortal fear. Leaving every other camper confused as to why the most prideful and disrespectful member of the cast suddenly felt scared. Sure, the concept of a deity existing is such a shock that many of the teenagers were sure they would have an aneurism, but Heather seems to be one of those people who would believe in the supernatural even if it just introduced itself and forced it's beliefs into her.

The science community is going to throw a hissy fit when they fail to comprehend this.

"And just for you all because you made me laugh. I'll read a fortune from those three old hags." Hades said as he read a small note.

The note was written by the fates themselves. The three women were old, but not senile and incompetent. It would take a powerful shift in the balance of the universe to make their predictions fail or at least a powerful will within someone. So there was no doubt the event Hades would read will happen unless someone shattered that reality the three old women predicted.

Hades actually looked concerned, "What the heck!? How are you all still alive after all of this!? A giant plane literally explodes near that girl over there and she's still fine and that's before going on a crazy trip to Hawaii!" he announces.

"What?" Duncan asked as he looked at Heather.

Heather sighed in relief, "I guess that means I finally get a nice vacation on Hawaii right?" she asked.

Hades shook his head, "No. Actually, your happy ending is short lived after you almost get burned alive at the stake." he answered making Heather look terrified.

Unknown to anyone including Chris. The series will become very popular and will involve Chris dragging everyone around in a plane. Not that anyone but Heather will remember what the Fates had foretold. Hades also decided to keep another piece of information for himself. One that was very hilarious and it involved Courtney's future relationship with Duncan.

"Hey Mohawk! Try sticking to one girl, okay?" Hades asked as Duncan look confused.

"Anyways, with Hades himself overlooking this race. It's time to prepare for the final race." Chris announced.

Hades then moved to another spot, "Quick announcement! As a little motivation and because four people is too little." He said as he snapped his fingers. When a large semitruck and ice cream van appeared, "I promised a couple of a chance of returning to the world of the living if they knock most of you out. Don't worry, only one gets to leave." he said with a laugh.

Duncan's eyes widened as he looked at the truck, "Isn't that the truck belonging to the psycho chick with the doll mask!?" he asked.

"And that's the ice cream guy truck of a legit killer clown!" Owen said as he remembered seeing a photo of it in a magazine.

Heather was shaking more than a naked bird in the antarctic in fear. Meanwhile Lindsay was nervous but not completely aware as to who was joining this race. Then another motorcycle appeared next to her with the words, "Mr. Grimm" written on the side.

"Who's Mr. Grimm?" Lindsay asked.

"No time to explain! Everyone get ready!" Chris announced as everyone got onto their vehicles. "Ready, set, GO!" he yells as he blows the airhorn.

And with that, everyone blasted off at the highest speed they could produce. When Hades granted the souls of the damned a chance to ride their vehicles once again. At least he was cautious enough to remove their weapons. Though that didn't make them entirely harmless as the ice cream truck started to move very quickly. With the semi truck destroying every jagged rock in it's path.

Soon enough, Lindsay caught up to Heather, "Hey Heather, I know I'm not the brainiest, but how are we going to win?" she asked.

"I know how I'm winning, for you. I think you can figure it out Lindsay. I recommend not letting one of those psycopaths get you." Heather said as she reached the half way point before hitting her button.

Making her nitrous enhance her speed, "Heather!" Lindsay cries out as she's left behind. Just as the ice cream van appears behind her, "AHHHHH!" She screamed as she saw the killer clown inside.

Meanwhile Owen was having a polite conversation, "I know, it sounds nice that no one can guess how you feel. Except that's the problem, no one can relate to you." he said.

Dollface, the woman in the truck nods, "I feel like some people don't listen though. I looked up to my boss like he was my own dad." She said sadly. "I get into one accident and he goes overboard. Then again, I feel like this was a good change of perspective. But it was still a mean thing to do!" she whined.

"But how do you eat?" Owen asked.

"The straw myth is actually fake, but it's kind of a long story to explain." Dollface answered.

"I got time. Also, you want gum?" Owen asked as he pulled out a stick of gum.

"Yes, thank you!" Dollface said as Owen tossed it into her window.

Sadly, Dollface failed to catch it and it went under her driver seat. Prompting her to pause her talk with Owen as she bent down to look for it. Only this made her stop focusing on the course as she ended up hitting Owen on accident.

"AHHHHH!" Owen screamed.

"Oops! Sorry Owen, I forgot that as a ghost. I can't chew gum." Dollface said as she came back up. Only to find Owen missing, "Owen?" she called out.

"Someone help!" Owen cries out as his go cart falls down a waterfall.

"Owen!" Dollface yells as she speeds up her semi truck.

At the same time, Duncan was about to move past her. When Dollface rammed Duncan into the river with her. As she jumped out in an attempt to rescue her new friend as well as Duncan.

"You crazy woman!" Duncan yelled.

"That's mean! Why is everyone mean to me!?" Dollface asked as they all plummeted.

This left Heather and Lindsay as the remaining racers left. With Lindsay having to avoid Mr. Grimm and the ice cream van that were chasing her.

"AHHHHHH!" Lindsay continued to shriek.

"This kill belongs to Sweet Tooth!" the clown yelled.

"I deserve a second chance more than you!" Mr. Grimm yelled as he bumped his motorcycle into the ice cream van.

Sweet Tooth growled, "Move over!" he yells as he slammed Mr. Grimm against a jagged rock. Before he boosted towards Lindsay and rammed her bike into a rock, "Too easy." he said as the girl fell off.

Lindsay's bike shattered as she fell off. With her body rolling towards the finishing line and just stopping after crossing the line. Along with only a few fragments of her damaged bike making it to the end with her The blonde girl looked up to see Heather had already made it to first place and looked victorious. Though Lindsay didn't understand the memo right away.

"We won! We won!" Lindsay cheered.

"Wrong! Heather won!" Chris interrupted as Naruto came down with a tiny trophy.

"It's like a keychain, but without the chain." Naruto said as Heather accepted it anyways.

"Wait, what does that mean?" Lindsay asked, sounding confused as ever.

"You lose." Naruto answered. He then pointed at Duncan and Owen floating in the river, "Those two are disqualified due to their vehicles breaking. You on the other hand, made it even if only a few bits made it across the finish line." he explained.

Chris laughed, "Naruto is right, so technically Lindsay. You are in last place and lose the challenge." he said. "Sorry girl, you're disqualified." he adds.

In the background

Pane winced as he spoke into the microphone, "They say there's nothing to fear, but fear itself. Yet the truth is what hurts the most." he said.

Chef nods, "Chris is blunt, but honest… half the time anyways. Hey Soma! Can I get a hot dog over here!" He yells.

Soma sighed as he and Shirou were forced to work on handing out food to everyone in the stands. Most of whom were composed of castle servants, interns and a few of their siblings. Most of whom like Veldora, had heavy appetites.

"Meaty! I also demand another!" Veldora yells out.

"I wonder how the blonde will react. Are we going to see some backbone or is there no spine?" Panic asked.

"200 denarii says no spine." Pane said as he pulled out 200 silver coins.

Back with Lindsay

Heather scoffed, "I can't save you unless I give up my invincibility and I am not doing that!" she said.

"But didn't you get the flute earlier? Maybe that can break a rule." Lindsay asked.

Heather sighed, "I wouldn't know how and besides, I already used it to modify my bike." she said.

While the cameras were down. Heather was gifted the flute for winning the invincibility pass. Which Heather used to summon Bradley, Kurama and Shiro to modify her bike to make it survive the course and win. All three animals looked disappointed in Heather, but Shiro started to snicker as he pulled out a button.

"So you don't even care? I thought you liked me!" Lindsay exclaimed.

"You wish! You annoy me!" Heather replied.

The exchange went on and minutes passed to the point that Lindsay's brain started to function. Where she realized that Heather is a bitch and saw Lindsay as cannon fodder.

"You mean to tell me, that you have never once cared for me. That I have been helping you and you don't like me?" Lindsay asked.

"I think I've made that blatantly clear. We're not here to make friends, we're here to win." Heather said selfishly.

"That's cold." Duncan commented as he dragged himself back to the course.

Heather didn't care for his opinion, "Like you are any better. With how you like to scare people with your pranks." She replied.

"At least I'm honest about it." Duncan said.

"There's no point in arguing with an realist and egotist." Naruto points out.

"Sticks and stones." Heather replied nonchalantly.

That's when Lindsay had enough and let out her frustrations, "You Heather, are nothing but *BLEEP*"

The censorship bar was extended for a long period of time after post production. However, in real time, everyone had various reactions. Ranging from Naruto covering Kanna's ears with his oldest children doing the same with the children. Nunnally was among the crowd and while Pluto did cover her ears, her senses could pick up all of the harsh negativity leaking off of Lindsay.

'I did not expect this from someone so sweet.' Nunnally thought.

"What are you doing? Betty cannot hear what is going on!" Beatrice shouts.

Juna sighed as she covered Beatrice's ears, "It's best you don't know." she said.

Veldora's mouth was agape as he heard this inappropriate language go on for too long. To the point that his hot dog lost it's luster and started to fall out of the bun on it's own. Even Lupusregina was trying to signal her fellow cameramen to cut the footage with with a few hand gestures. All of which were denied by Chris himself until Lindsay finished.

"…and also, your shoes are tacky." Lindsay said adding to the mental pain she put Heather in.

"I need a new hot dog." Veldora said.

"The dumb blonde has a few smart words! Damn!" Hades exclaimed in the background. He then looked at the wet campers, "Oh yeah, Dollface took out the two of you chumps. So I guess she gets a second chance." he said with the snap of a finger.

"Bye guys, hopefully I see you again in the land of the living." Dollface said before her entire existence was plucked from the underworld.

"Thank you all for having me! I'll be down there waiting for all of you! HAHAHA!" Hades said before exiting as the Reality Marble fell apart.

Bringing them all back to the island, "Please tell me that was all a prank or a bad fever dream." DJ pleaded.

"It can't be a dream if you are awake." Naruto said as DJ whimpered.

"Anyways, sorry Lindsay but you have been eliminated." Chris said before Heather's bike exploded.

The resulting explosion caused Heather to go flying into the water. The remaining campers looked at the animals who were laughing and giving each other high fives for sabotaging the motorized bike's engine. At least karma still functioned despite Heather's bad choices.

"Okay, I'll go get my bags. See you guys soon!" Lindsay said as she wanted to leave on a good note with everyone minus Heather.

The next night

The day was quiet, Chris didn't announce any challenges or anything or that matter. Maybe it was a free day, but that was very unlikely. Especially with how some challenges can potentially take more than a day to complete. Seeing as how Chef busted out his drill sergeant uniform and made everyone go through endurance challenges that they could barely handle. So a challenge could happen at any point in time.

Their suspicions were correct as Chris left them all alone with a movie to watch. Instead of a typical slasher where a bunch of teenagers and young adults are murdered by a psychopath with a hockey mask. Instead, it was some old movie about a haunted castle. While the effects were outdated and looked fake, it was the genuine performance the actors put together along with the sound design that made the movie feel too eerie.

"How come an old movie has to be so scary?" DJ asked as he was hanging onto his seat.

"It just is, they actually put effort into this one. Instead of just doing it for cash." Duncan said.

"Basically like today and back then." Heather said while trying to hide her fear.

"I guess, people get greedy and think film is super easy to get into." Duncan said before hearing a snapping from the movie.

Followed by the sounds of a twisted version of "Dies Irae" as it zoomed out of the castle. Along with a monologue, but the ending credits and twisted song made it difficult to focus on all of those names. While the ending felt ambigous, the real terror was not completely understanding what it was to fear.

"Was it a monster? A ghost? I don't get what this movie is!" DJ shouted.

"That's the thing DJ! It's the fear of the unknown, you don't know what it is. Even if you do, you're not satisfied or you refuse to believe it." Gwen explained.

Duncan laughed, "That and not knowing where you're going. Sure, a slasher makes you run through a familiar area while conveniently forgetting your survival skills. Except, an unknown place makes it hard to navigate." he adds. "Sure, you could be afraid of some old dead guy or some masked freak, but what if your fear is breaking your neck while crossing a broken stairwell?" he asked.

"Then the fear is not knowing!" Gwen happily exclaimed.

Heather scoffed, "Typical, the delinquent and goth are all buddy buddy." She said angrily.

Angry that while she got rid of the "dead weight" known as Lindsay and Beth. Heather had to worry about herself without any assistance while anyone else can try to form an alliance.

"Well, that's enough out of me guys. I kind of liked the movie even though it was so old school, but I'm tired." Owen said as he dropped his empty popcorn box.

"Me too." Izzy said surprisingly as bags appeared under her eyes.

"Who knew a movie is all that took to put down the crazy girl." Leshawna said as she was still shaken from the drag race Izzy had with Milim yesterday.

"Whatever, I'm going to bed too." Heather said only to stumble and fall.

Leshawna snorted, "Looks like Heather is also…" she stopped as she yawned and started to falter.

"Are you guys okay?" Gwen asked before hearing Owen fall down with Izzy falling onto his back.

Then Geoff fell along with Duncan. The latter was dragging himself away as he suddenly felt a sense of urgency. Gwen also decided to run on her own as the exhaustion filled her body. Making every limb feel heavy as well as her eye lids before she lost complete control. The last two would end up being dragged into slumber. By now, DJ had already made it to his cabin as he just wanted to hide under his bedsheets. Deep down, hoping that he would not have any nightmares.

Only to fall asleep fairly quickly as well. So much for running away once the film ended.

A short while later, unknown room

Gwen's eyes shot open and she sat up to find herself in a victorian style room. Looking around, the goth realized that the other campers with her. Most of them having already awakened and were standing in front of a pale man with white hair and blue eyes with white crosses for irises. Gwen groaned as she sat up and tried to gain her bearings.

"I see sleeping beauty finally woke up." Heather said with a snarl.

"Hey Gwen, up here!" Geoff called out.

That's when the rest of the unconscious campers woke up. All of them moved towards the man behind the bar.

"Good evening everyone, my name is Decim. I am the bartender." Decim said.

Duncan smirked, "Sweet, can I…"

"I require identification first." Decim interrupted. Duncan then reached into his pocket, "Real identification." he said making the punk curse.

"So, what are we doing here Decim?" DJ asked.

"You will most likely find this a strange question, but I am afraid that I do have to ask it. Do you remember anything prior to your arrival?" Decim asked everyone.

"I remember feeling sleepy." Owen spoke up.

"Yeah, it wasn't even that late." Geoff said as he admitted to being sleepy.

"I definitely blacked out." Duncan said with a shrug, though he felt suspicious.

"There was something obviously in the food and drinks that Chris left us!" Heather exclaimed.

Decim nodded, "Thank you for indulging me. I will now explain some things about your situation. This is important, please pay close attention." He said.

Heather pinched the bridge of her nose, "This is the secret challenge." she muttered.

Leshawna sighed, "At least I'm here for it this time. What are the rules pale boy?" he asked.

"Number one, currently I cannot provide any information regarding your current location. Number two, now that you are here, you will participate in the challenge." Decim explained as everyone groaned.

"I knew it!" Heather said.

"Number three, for the challenge is simple, the trick depends on your mind and body. Number four, while the previous challenges were dangerous, this is the first time your lives are at stake." Decim continued.

Duncan snorted, "Like being threatened by an apocalyptic dragon is the least worse thing." he said.

"Don't forget almost being eaten alive by Masrur or that Veldora dude." Geoff adds.

"And number five, you must leave this location… right away." Decim said.

"Just great, we get shanghaied and now we're being kicked out." Heather said sounding annoyed.

"Too bad, this place looks cool!" Izzy said as she hopped around to look at every spot of the room.

"There is no exact time limit of this challenge, but I do recommend that you leave before sunrise… or before the owner finds you." Decim suggested. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a box, "As the winner of the previous challenge once again. Heather will be granted the flute. However, anyone is free to use it if it is no longer in her possession." he explains as Heather takes it.

"That's why I'm leaving! Goodbye losers!" Heather said as she ran away.

"I'm leaving too!" DJ said as he followed Heather.

Once they left the room. The two were grabbed and restrained, where bags were then put over their heads as they were taken away. Leaving behind only screams of terror as they were dragged away towards their doom.

"MAMA!" DJ screamed.

"Let go of me!" Heather demanded.

Everyone else gulped, "Naha, Leshawna ain't dying in no creepy mansion or whatever this is." Leshawna said as she stood by the door. "Still, I'm not against anyone wanting to team up and leave." She said.

"You never go alone in a slasher film, but I think groups are a risk either way in a haunted situation." Gwen said.

"Why is that?" Owen asked.

"Sometimes people get insane or betray each other." Gwen said, but she trusted Leshawna.

Izzy started to laugh, "Let's go together Owen!" she suggested as she hugged her large friend.

Decim bowed his head, "I wish you all luck on your journey." He said as everyone left in groups.

With DJ and Heather

DJ woke up to find himself on a metal chair with one of his arms handcuffed to an arm on the chair. DJ began to hyperventilate as he realized that he was in a dark scary room with nothing but a television and a plate with a grapefruit in front of him. That's when the television turned on and a puppet with a hockey stick appeared.

"Welcome to the castle DJ." the puppet said. DJ shrieked in horror making the puppet laugh, "Now, let's welcome Heather." he said as lights flashed on.

Next to DJ, Heather sat strapped down to a chair with a lot less mobility compared to DJ. Along with what appeared to be a trap of some kind on Heather's head. The rusty and odd shape of the metal trap alone was enough to terrify DJ. Along with Heather who was trying not to die of a heart attack from mortal fear.

"You have a chance to save a life DJ. Somewhere on your body, there are keys to the handcuff and to Heather's trap." the puppet explained as DJ felt sick. "In front of you, you have a grapefruit and a grapefruit spoon. Do the math. You have 60 seconds." he said.

"DJ HELP!" Heather screamed.

"HOLD ON! THIS IS A LOT OF PRESSURE!" DJ screamed back.

*CLANG*

DJ suddenly realized he broke off the handcuff, "Well that solves that." he said.

"Dude, did you just break my handcuff?" the puppet asked.

"Sorry." DJ apologized. "Also, what's the grapefruit for?" he asked.

The puppet shrugged, "I'm not sure, I forgot." he answered honestly. "Do you think you can just take that spoon and rip your head open!? I want to see inside!" he said excitedly, but DJ shook his head.

With Duncan and Gwen

The goth and delinquent found themselves paired up as they decided to use their movie knowledge to good use. With both of them acting a bit too cautious, but virtually aware of the potential dangers. Especially as they came across the first creepy thing in the castle. In the shape of a little girl with blond hair and a blue dress.

"Careful, she might be a doll or a ghost." Gwen said with Duncan nodding.

"Teehee, I'm not a dolly, but you shouldn't be here." the girl said as she sat on the rail of the stairs. "Daddy gets mad if someone enters our house. Especially if they break something." she said.

The two teens paled, "Naruto's house!?" he asked.

"I didn't say my daddy's name and you already know who he is." the girl said. "My name is Alice, and I can tell you what to do to leave but not where or how." she said.

"Okay, what do we do?" Duncan asked.

"You didn't say please." Alice teased.

Duncan sighed, "Fine, please tell us what to do." she said.

Alice smirked, "Find one of daddy's hearts. Mommy holds his real heart, but three people made him happy before he became grumpy." she said cryptically.

"Okay, that's something. Medusa is Naruto's wife, so she likely made him happy. I guess the other three are people that mattered to him." Gwen said.

"Probably, maybe his in-laws or a friend? I know his kids matter to him." Duncan said as he thought it over.

"You better hurry, daddy got grumpy again. So he's not going to be happy and neither will my big brothers and sisters." Alice said before moving up the stares and disappearing.

"Creepy, we got a hint but is it reliable?" Duncan asked.

"It's all we got, but then again. It's probably a hint for a hint." Gwen replied.

Duncan's Confessional

Duncan groaned, "I am going to hate myself for saying this, but I wish Harold was here. The nerd would not only make a good shield, but he probably plays those lame medieval games with the dungeons." he said with a sigh. "I bet you're watching me right now Harold! You're probably laughing at me because Gwen and I are missing like a million hints!" he yells angrily.

Though it was likely probably that years of gaming have given Harold the experience to see traps and complete difficult puzzles.

With Owen and Izzy

Izzy looked at every creepy decoration in awe, "Wow, I wonder if Milim can give me a tour. I don't wanna walk in on someone in the shower when we're doing sleep overs." she said.

Owen chuckled nervously, "I wouldn't mind finding the kitchen. Whip myself up another snack, because that popcorn felt too powdery." he said. "Still, it's a good thing we're not in the woods. Since this is the part where the couple that are making out would end up getting killed by a maniac." he said.

Izzy looked confused, "But we're not making out or in the woods." she said.

"Oh yeah." Owen said as they found the kitchen.

"You wanna make out and test that theory?" Izzy asked casually.

"Sure! Why not?" Owen answered before Izzy tackled him behind a large table.

As the romance began, the two were eventually interrupted by the sounds of heavy stomping. The two peaked around the corner of the table to find a giant man walking around the kitchen and opening a giant pair of doors. Where the man pulled out several giant donuts and put them on a table before pulling up a chair and sitting down. Where he proceeded to devour them all.

"Doughnuts. Doughnuts. I love doughnuts!" the man said as he devoured them with his disfigured mouth.

"That guy eats more than me." Owen whispered.

This went on for a few minutes where Owen and Izzy just watched the giant man devour his favorite snack. Watching as he sang about his favorite food while partaking in his own hedonism. The tall man being none the wiser about anyone watching him eat for this really long period of time.

"Is it me or is there something satisfying about watching this guy eat?" Izzy asked.

"I think you know the answer to that. Still, we should run." Owen said with Izzy nodding.

However, while the window of escape was very large. Owen drooled at how gigantic the donuts were and tried to pry off a piece for himself. Only to find the donuts to be very thick. As Owen attempted to use more force to break off a piece, he found himself being lifted into the air by the tall man. Who gave him a dirty look.

"Uh… hi?" Owen asked.

Suddenly the man's veins started to appear all over his body, "Where you watching me eat!?" He asked angrily.

"Only for a little while." Owen said as if it were nothing.

However this man was very sensitive about being watched, "How dare you!?" he said angrily before.

Owen gulped in fear, "Take Izzy! She wanted to steal your donuts!" he said before letting go of the donut.

"What?" Izzy asked.

"Run!" Owen screamed as he ran out.

Izzy suddenly found herself being towered over by an angry giant. This would be one of the few rare ties in her life where Izzy felt genuine terror. Only now she was sure to avoid interacting with Owen since he basically ditched her and left her for dead.

With Leshawna and Geoff

Geoff and Leshanwa were both very lost in this giant maze called a castle. As Leshawna was looking around for exits only to be lost and confused by the size of the castle. Meanwhile Geoff was carefully tampering with various objects such as statues and books in hopes of finding a secret room or panel of some kind.

"Darn, my friend Brody and I have been thinking about trying escape room, but this is hardcore." Geoff said as he tried looking under a table.

Leshawna shook her head, "Forget the room, we need to leave this whole crazy place. Then I'm gonna be careful with what I eat. I can't trust Chris to not drug our food or drinks." she said. "Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, and I probably won't wake up next time." she said sounding annoyed.

Geoff nodded, "Yeah, that is kind of scary to think about. Do you think Decim was messing with us about our lives being on the stake this time?" he asked.

"We've been risking our lives since day one cowboy." Leshawna said before walking into another room. "Still, I'm glad the house isn't completely creepy." She said as she looked at a potrait.

"Yeah, I expected monster statues and creepy old guys or even paintings of burning buildings." Geoff said before looking at the same portrait. "The babe though, this is a nice sight." he said.

"We aren't here for you to flirt with paintings, fool." Leshawna said as she read the name on the portrait.

Lisa Tepes - Beloved Mother

"And now you just flirted with a picture of someone's mama!" Leshawna said with a glare.

"How was I supposed to know!?" Geoff asked.

Leshawna shook her head at him, "Maybe I should have traded you for DJ or Gwen." she said before Geoff tinkered around. "What are you doing now?" she asked before a clinging sound was heard.

"I found a piece of jewelry, you think it means something?" Geoff asked as he held up a blue heart shaped crystal.

"Maybe, still we gotta be careful what we pick up." Leshawna said before they moved on.

Back with DJ and Heather

"Are you enjoying our little game DJ?" the puppet asked.

DJ shrugged, "Yeah it's fine, I took off the trap on Heather's head." he answered.

"You have 60 sec… you did what?" the puppet asked.

"It's right here and Heather is fine." DJ said as he lifted up the trap that was on Heather's head earlier.

"Crap." The puppet cursed.

"It was just a twist tie. I don't even know why I was so scared." Heather said as DJ also showed the twist tie.

"For my whole wheat bread loaf, you found it. Bring it to me! You have 60 seconds!" the puppet commanded.

"Where are you?" Heather asked.

"I don't know. I'm a doll." the puppet answered.

"You have to be somewhere, there's a camera on you." Heather pointed out.

"There's a camera on me!? How do I look!? Am I pretty!?" the puppet asked desperately.

"Lindsay is that you?" Heather asked, thinking that this amount of stupidity can only be reached by her former servant.

"I'm just gonna free Heather and leave." DJ said as he was trying to remove the restraints on Heather's chair.

"No wait! Um, jam the grapefruit spoon in your eye!" the puppet commanded.

"No!" DJ replied.

"Do it! Or else!" the puppet continued to demand.

"Or else what?" Heather asked.

Suddenly the grapefruit ignited on fire, "Or else that. Imagine if DJ was eating that. Nightmares!" the puppet exclaimed.

"I'm leaving." DJ said as he started pulling on Heather's restraints.

"Wait! Don't leave! I'm lonely!" the puppet cried out as DJ managed to pull the restraints off.

"About time. Let's leave this loser behind." Heather said.

Sudden the puppet pressed a button, "You leave me no choice! I will have to send the robot that just happens to look like Richard Simmons." He said a machine in a unitard came in.

"Who's ready for some cardio!?" the machine asked.

"AHHHHH!" DJ screamed as he ran so fast, he shattered a wall.

Heather shivered, "Okay, this is creepy but not really scary." she said before the machine started following her.

"Come on girl! Let's do some work on our calves!" the machine said.

"Leave me alone!" Heather yelled.

Back with Duncan and Gwen

In another gallery filled with paintings and other decorations. Duncan stole a bunch of tools that were hanging around and ended up breaking a few traps and loose boards leading to a potential death. Meanwhile Gwen was going through every corner and thinking of every potential clue for their escape.

"Three hearts, maybe as in three keys. They probably aren't literal hearts. I hope." Gwen said as she tried looking at the art.

When her eyes caught the portrait of a woman with red hair tied in braids.

Irene Belsarion - The Exiled Teacher, Last Relative

Gwen smiled, "Maybe this is it. She's probably related to Naruto in some way." she said as Duncan came over.

Duncan smirked as he looked around, "Normally I wouldn't be careful and just tear out the painting, but I don't want to incur someone's wrath." he said as he tried peaking around the portrait.

After a few minutes of looking around. Gwen heard some clanging and a golden heart shaped crystal came out. Duncan twirled around the jewel as he flicked it into Gwen's hand. The goth looked at the jewel curiously before moving on.

"Hopefully this is it." Gwen said.

"Then we have two more to find" Duncan said as they walked away from the gallery. "That lady was pretty hot." he said.

"What?" Gwen asked.

"Shoot, I'm mostly used to hanging out with the guys." Duncan replied.

"I think you should worry more about Courtney hearing you say that." Gwen said making Duncan panic.

"Hey! I didn't mean it! Also, it's not like I'm an official thing with Courtney. So, shut up." Duncan said.

Gwen snickered, "Didn't Hades say something about you being careful with women?" she asked.

"Like I would listen to him. Isn't he evil?" Duncan asked.

"Actually, Hades in mythology is said to be neutral. I get that guy was a bit crazy and got his kinks from watching us suffer, but he's not like the biblical devil." Gwen explained. "Also, it's said that he's supposed to be the most intelligent and second strongest on Olympus." she adds.

"Pfft, another brainiac." Duncan muttered.

With Leshawna and Geoff

Leshawna growled, "Heck no! We've been walking in the same same direction for 10 minutes! I haven't even seen a door or corner or anything!" she complained.

Geoff stopped and scratched his head, "Maybe the doors aren't on the walls. What if they're on the ceiling or floor?" he asked.

"Like an attic or basement?" Leshawna asked.

"Yeah and we can't see them since they're camouflaged. Look, maybe there's a tile we can activate." Geoff said as he hopped around like a monkey.

"Uh-huh, jumping around like a dummy ain't gonna…"

*SNAP*

"AHHHHH!" Geoff screamed as he plummeted through the floor.

"Geoff!" Leshawna calls down as she looks down the hole.

With the little bit of light going down the hole. Leshawna could see Geoff crash through a series of floors. All containing various miscellaneous objects such sports equipment, fireworks, sharp cooking utensils, paint, and a lot of construction equipment from the looks of things. Along with other things that Leshawna could not see or guess from the loud sounds of Geoff screaming. However, as this happened.

A small elevator popped out of the wall. Revealing a narrow eyed man with green hair and yellow tips.

"Hello ma'am, I am Clavis and I am your elevator attendant for the evening." Clavis said.

"Okay, can you follow Geoff?" Leshawna asked.

"The guy who fell down the hole? Sure thing." Clavis said as he waited for Leshawna to enter the elevator. "Going down… 20 floors wow! This guy is tough!" he said complimenting Geoff's durability.

5 minutes of elevator music later

Leshawna sighed at how long the elevator ride is, "Does this thing lead to an exit by chance? I'm hoping to leave this crazy house after I pick up Geoff." she asked.

Clavis thought it over, "The challenge prohibits me from doing 95% of the things to get you to the exit. Though I can mention the little train cart. I can take you after you pick up your friend." he said once they arrived.

To find Geoff twitching on the floor next to a broken billiards table. It's most likely that Geoff shattered it once he landed on this floor. Regardless, Goeff still appeared to be alive and conscious as he sat up and raised up a hand revealing a red heart shaped crystal.

"I'm… goooood…" Geoff said with a slur before falling back down.

"Cool, he found the next puzzle piece." Clavis said as Leshawna went to grab him.

"I guess hopping around like a fool did work. Still, I wonder where he got it." Leshawna said as she dragged Geoff inside the elevator.

Never noticing the portrait of a young woman with red hair, fair skin and purple eyes on one of the walls.

Kushina Uzumaki - Life Giving Mother

"Also, what's up with that funky hallway? There were no corners or anything. We tried moving back but the whole thing was endless." Leshawna asked.

"What are you talking about? That path was super short to be called a hallway of any kind." Clavis asked.

Leshawna's lack of perception would have never let her know that Namine was messing with her. By using her drawing skills, the blonde girl was tampering with Geoff and Leshawna's mind by making them think the hallway was endless when they've hardly moved an inch before Geoff decided to get himself hurt.

"Whatever, just take me to this train cart. Leshawna ain't carrying this fool around all night." Leshawna said as Clavis nods and takes Leshawna to a secret path at the bottom of the castle.

With DJ and Heather

DJ continued to scream as he ran away from the robot that looked like Richard Simmons. With Heather trying to catch up, the two made their way to what appeared to be a living room. Only to find a man in in a red outfit standing at the bottom of the stares waiting for them. The outfit matched the spooky castle they were in as the man's outfit looked like a mix of elegance and a monster with his face concealed by a red pointed mask and silver eye mask over the facial area.

The man drew his sword and took a step foward. Causing DJ to lose consciousness from fear while Heather nervously backed away.

"I decided to take time to participate in the challenge and this happens?" the man asked.

"Huh?" Heather asked.

"This is a waste of my time and use of my own home." the man said.

"Naruto?" Heather asked.

"Yes, and consider yourself caught. You both lose." Naruto said as Heather groaned.

That's when Decim arrived to escort Heather to a safe room for the remainder of the challenge. Meanwhile another man in a bartender's uniform with red hair and tanned skin arrived to lift up DJ over his shoulder.

"A waste of time master, I expected to see some fun chase or something." the man said.

"You will have to be more patient Ginti." Naruto replied.

At the safe room

Izzy was sitting down with her arms crossed. Looking disappointed as she looked at the screens watching over the contests. The crazy girl was lucky that Milim was visiting the kitchen for a late night snack when she ran into her attacker. The man's name was Katakuri and surprisingly, he's actually a grandchild of Naruto and not a direct child. Meaning he was Milim's nephew and it took the two to fight it out before Izzy was properly eliminated.

"So who's still in the game?" Milim asked as she sat next to Izzy.

"Duncan and Gwen are making progress." Izzy answered, but didn't seem enthusiastic.

"My money is on that cowboy losing next." Milim said as she saw a monitor with the four of them on a train cart.

Then Chris came in, "It looks like Owen is having the time of his life." he said before hearing Owen scream.

Izzy still looked annoyed, "I thought Big O was cool, but I guess I was wrong." she said.

"You want me to mess with him? I know where the breeding rooms are." Milim said just as Heather came in with an unconscious DJ.

"What was that about a breeding room?" Heather asked.

"We gotta keep it within the PG-13 rating." Chris said as he looked over the monitors.

"Oh well, you guys are lucky this isn't Ariel's castle. That girl doesn't know how to keep things clean, but it's even more creepy there." Milim said as she pulled out some popcorn.

At the train cart

Surprisingly, Gwen and Duncan also found a path leading to the train cart where they found Geoff and Leshawna. Even more surprising, Leshawna revealed that she had two puzzle pieces and Clavis pretty much admitted that they were real. Now, they were heading towards wherever the train cart was taking them.

"That Alice brat said that we need three right? So we should be in a good spot." Duncan said.

"She better be telling the truth. I'm tired of wandering around aimlessly." Leshawna said before the cart came to a stop. "Finally, this better be some keyhole type stuff and not some maze." she said.

Gwen sighed, "Let's go before anything bad happens." she said.

Geoff suddenly started to wake up, "Dudes, I had this crazy dream. We were in a castle and… oh wait. This is real." he said.

"It's almost over Geoff, we got the third puzzle piece." Duncan said as he raised up his crystal.

"Cool! Let's get out! I'm super tired man." Geoff said.

"You have been sleeping this entire time and sleeping when Chris knocked us out. How much sleep do you need?" Leshawna asked.

Suddenly the lights turned off and the entire tunnel had become completely dark. The four campers sighed as they got off and looked around. What was worse, was the fact that the train was automated despite looking like it was made in the 1920s. Leaving the four by themselves to figure out what to do next.

They were already at their destination. So the group made their way to a pair of steel doors and opened them. Once again, they found themselves looking down a dark corridor. It was annoying that the group had to go through the darkness with the sudden power outage, but then again. Nothing is too sudden in a place like this. If this really is Naruto's domain, then he likely shifted the place around to make things significantly easy for them.

"I wish I had my phone. I could use the screen to light our way." Gwen said.

"You really want to take the chance and see what's waiting for us here?" Duncan asked.

"It's better than tripping and probably breaking my neck, so yeah." Gwen answered as she was careful where she stepped.

"Now that is a rational fear girl. I don't wanna end up stepping on a bear trap or something." Leshawna said before hearing giggling. "Heck no! I ain't going where there's creepy laughter!" she exclaimed.

"Alice!? Is that you!?" Gwen called out only to hear more laughter.

"Someone is messing with us." Duncan said with the shake of his head.

Suddenly they saw lights up ahead, "Sweet! The lights are coming back and… what's that noise?" Geoff asked as he heard music.

The music sounded like it came from a music box. So the four of them were absolutely sure that someone is here or was here and left that music to play. The song was recognizable but it was one of those pieces of classical music that no one can remember the name of. In this case, this was Les Toreadors by Bizet. Which only got louder as the group approached the lights.

"You know, I never got into those scary movies about creepy little girls or dolls. I should really try one to be prepared next time." Gwen said as they stood near the lights.

"Do you like my toy?" asked a familiar voice.

"I know that voice! Alice, are you seriously try to mess with us!?" Duncan asked angrily when suddenly the music stopped.

"So mean, I just want to play." Alice whined. "Freddy, the meanie is bullying me." she said.

"Who the heck is Freddy?" Duncan asked.

The lights then came to life and the scariest thing had occured. A giant animatronic in the shape of a bear came to life and roared.

"RAAAAHHH!"

"AHHHHHHH!" Everyone screamed as the animatronic chased them around.

"Get them Freddy!" Alice commanded.

With Owen

Owen dragged himself towards the living room. Where he spotted Naruto waiting for him while brandishing his sword. Owen let out a loud gasp as he stepped back slowly. Before he realized it, Naruto was already right beside him.

"Please don't kill me! Take Izzy… oh wait, I left Izzy behind." Owen said before Naruto tapped him with the sword.

"Eliminated." Naruto said.

Owen screamed in terror, "I'm dead!" he screams.

"Nope, you lose." Naruto said as Ginti arrived.

"Come on big guy, everyone is waiting for you at the safe room." Ginti said as Owen sighed.

"Seriously? After being chased around by that giant guy and a giant fox robot? I lost like that?" Owen asked.

"What fox robot?" Ginti asked as the machine popped out from the ground.

Which Naruto destroyed with a quick slash, "Not on my carpet!" he yelled as Owen left. "Damn, Alice is going to be angry when she learns I broke one of her toys." he said as he tried putting the fox together.

A short while later

Naruto just sat on the stairwell while fiddling with the mechanical parts of the fox, "Maybe Junko or someone else can handle these. Then again Shizu, might be able to mess with this on the account of being a cyborg." he muttered to himself.

That's when he stopped as he heard the door open. Revealing Gwen's group had managed to escape Freddy and started barricading the door. As they heard Freddy repeatedly bang on the door before getting annoyed and quitting. Leshawna let out a sigh of relief while Gwen started putting the crystals together and looking around for a potential exit.

"You have to be kidding me." Gwen said as she saw Naruto slowly walk towards them.

"Seriously? Some phantom swordsman or something?" Duncan asked as he looked around for a weapon.

Naruto then flicked his hand, causing a gust of wind to flow around the room. Using enough pressure and control of his technique, Naruto's spell ended up hitting the keys on a nearby piano. With the piano hitting patterns that played a very aggressive version of Dies Irae by Mozart. Only it didn't sound like something Mozart had composed and played himself.

"It's that song again! Is this guy like the final boss!?" Geoff asked.

"He better be the final part to this whole mess!" Leshawna said as she grabbed a hat rack as a weapon.

Naruto tilted his head as he made gesture with his sword, 'Come at me, what do you have to fear?' he wondered.

Duncan pulled out his switch blade and ran at Naruto at full sprint. Naruto avoided the flimsy and slow strikes before backhanding Duncan down the stairs. Geoff ran in with and threw a bust at Naruto who slashed it in half before lightly kicking Geoff against a wall. Leshawna threw the hat rack next along with various other small objects as if to buy some time.

"Gwen, you have to find a way out! The boys and I will hold this chump off!" Leshawna exclaimed.

Gwen nods, "Right!" she said as she ran towards the twin doors.

Naruto suddenly bursted into dust and appeared in front of Gwen. As he prepared to give her a light tap with his weapon. Gwen rolled out of the way as Duncan threw his switchblade at Naruto's head. The Dragon Lord caught the knife and threw it against the floor as he slowly approached the delinquent who raised up his fists and and started throwing punches. All of which were avoided except for a lucky uppercut that hit Naruto's chin.

Only causing Duncan to recoil in pain as he held his hand in pain. Meanwhile Geoff jumped onto Naruto's back and tried trapping him into a headlock.

"We can do this bro! He's just one guy!" Geoff said.

"I know, but he's a crazy strong guy!" Duncan replied as he tried punching Naruto in the chest several times.

As the chaos in the background went on. Gwen fumbled with the crystals or "hearts" as they were called. Where she proceeded to attempt to figure out how to unlock the door leading to the outside. Only to jump back in surprise as a metallic snake came to life and hissed at her. Gwen cursed as the serpent tried to take a bite at her before fusing back with the door.

"Hurry Gwen!" Leshawna yelled before Naruto threw all three campers off of him.

Naruto then turned all of his focus back onto Gwen. As he slowly stomped towards the goth girl and raised his hand to change the song playing on the piano. Into something more sinister.

(Toccata and Fugue in D minor)

"That is super cheesy!" Duncan yells as he tries to stand up.

Luckily for Gwen, Naruto was forced to slow down again as Duncan and Geoff threw a random barrel at his head. However, Gwen found herself almost being harmed by the metal snake.

"Seriously? Did I do the puzzle wrong?" Gwen asked, now realizing why the trap keeps activating.

A couple minutes passed as Gwen finally put each heart in the correct slot. Making a series of loud clicking noises as the castle doors unlocked slowly but very loudly. Gwen looked back and tried look around for a way to help out her friends. Only for them tell her to leave.

"Just go! Someone has to win and end this!" Duncan shouts.

"Yeah dudette! Ru!" Geoff yells as the piano gets louder.

"Okay, now that music is super creepy!" Duncan yells before being tossed against the couch.

Gwen took a few hesitant steps backwards before going full sprint outside. Where she saw the doors close and lock again. Where she now found herself outside again with the moon's rays flashing over her head. It was at this moment, that Gwen realized how silent everything suddenly became. Letting her sigh in relief, but not without anxiously thinking about everyone trapped inside of the castle.

"That's it right? The game is over?" Gwen asked out loud.

*BUZZ*

Gwen then turned around to find a seven foot tall man with a chainsaw and hockey mask moving towards her.

"Are you kidding me!? Is this some sort of sick final girl trope!?" Gwen asked before running into the forest.

As the psychopathic killer chased Gwen down like an animal. The goth grabbed a large rock and lifted it over her head. Giving her enough time to prepare her counter attack against the psycho. Which the man didn't prepare for as Gwen hit him pretty hard, causing him to drop the chainsaw and for the hockey mask to shatter.

"OW! You jerk! They never did this in prison! What is wrong with- AHHHH!" the killer was interrupted by Masrur who suddenly appeared and pounced on him. "NO! NO! NO! NO!" he screamed as Masrur dragged him away.

Just in time for Chris and everyone else to come out, "Woah! That was not part of the plan!" he yelled.

"It wasn't!?" Gwen asked with a scared face.

"NO! Where did that guy come from?" Chris asked.

"I think we'll let it sort out on it's own." Chef said as he also looked surprised.

Not scared, everything else tonight and since the beginning of the game show is scary. This was just mildly surprising, like a can of soda exploding in your face type of surprise. Still, someone needed to look into where that killer came from.

"Oh and congrats, you win Gwen. I guess." Chris said as everyone could still hear the killer begging for help.

At the bonfire

Chris let out a loud yawn, "Anyways, since I need my beauty sleep. We can all agree that Gwen earns the win for making it out of the tower of terror. That and hurting that psycho with a hockey mask before Masrur showed up." he said.

"Where did you even come from?" Gwen asked as the red lion sat next to her.

"My son has sleeping problems so he goes out for walks." Naruto said, still wearing the costume.

"Do you really need that costume on?" Geoff asked.

"I can make it more intimidating." Naruto answered.

"Nope, I'm good bro." Geoff said already feeling scared again.

"Anyways, sorry DJ but you lose since you passed out before anyone else. Especially when you were right at the end with Heather." Chris said as DJ looked sad.

"We're going to miss you DJ." Geoff said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"We all will." Gwen adds.

Before DJ knew it, he was surrounded by hugs from his friends. Minus Heather of course. With that, DJ was given his bags and his prize of fridge magnets and keychains.

"Thanks guys and good luck. I know I won't handle whatever is coming up next time." DJ said as he entered the Boat of Losers.

"Bye DJ!" everyone said as the most kind hearted member of Total Drama Island left.

"That leaves you seven left. Take this time to think about your hardships and skills you have learned." Naruto said as he crossed his arms. "Masrur, you stay with Gwen for tonight. I can't guarantee that the security breach has not been dealt with." He ordered.

The red lion nodded at his father before following Gwen for the night. With the night over and dawn reaching them in an hour or so. Chris gave the last minute farewell to the audience and promises them more excitement for the next episode.

Elsewhere

"NO! NO! NO!" the killer screamed as he was tossed into an elevator.

Ginti sighed, "Why do we have to throw this guy into the underworld?" he asked.

"It is one our duties Ginti." Decim said before sending the elevator down.

"Whatever, this job can be a pain. I didn't want to deal with those brats." Ginti said.

"It is a rather entertaining show." said a short woman with blue haired tied in a braid.

"Well show business is not for me Nona. I'm going to bed." Ginti said.

Decim looked at Nona, "How is the show looking?" he asked.

Nona smiled, "It seems that the world is starting to like it. The eastern countries seem fond of it." she answered. "Anyways, I suppose that's it for tonight. I'm heading off to bed as well." she said as she left.

Decim nods before going through his pockets and picking up a headband with metal attached to it, "Another one for my collection. In the shape of a cloud too." he said before leaving the bar.

TO BE CONTINUED…

Notes: Hey guys, I hope you liked the chapter. I think we might be able to reach the finale by New Years Day. Of course, there's also the bonus episode where everyone chases the million dollar briefcase. But that's also coming and by then, we can finish the first season of Guardian Dragon.

Also, for some announcements. A friend of mine, Aclux, posted an interesting challenge for all of you writers or aspiring writers. If you like One Piece and World of Warcraft. Then hopefully some of you are interested in taking on the challenge of making Luffy's crew navigate through the world of Azeroth. Of all the hijinks they can get into, who wouldn't want to see that?

Anyways, Aclux has the details and rules for the challenge on his profile. Be sure to look it up if any of you are interested. Everyone else, I hope to see you for the next chapter.
