Chapter 5: The End

AN: Yep, it's the last chapter and here we are, I may do another OC x Raven one shot in the future. Maybe as I am not sure if I would do a movie version again, comic, or show, open to suggestions. This chapter was planned to have a lemon but got lost due to my old laptop having a virus & removed that said lemon. I hate when that happens. So hopefully in the future, I can post that lemon chapter as an extra chapter but anyway, hope the last chapter of Bussiness & Pleasure.

Mystique had done it she got the information, she freed Erik from his prison, and she teamed up with the X-Men to stop Stryker from eradicating their entire species...he got him, and they took in a recruit Pyro. She should feel happy and whole, but for some reason, she doesn't and she hasn't ever since...Andrew Anderson.

Mystique has gone over that night a thousand times in her head but for some reason, she can't stop thinking about the young man. He's a human, and she's a mutant they both come from different worlds that shouldn't intertwine, but they did.

Mystique told Erik and Pyro that she needed some time alone after the events at Alkali Lake but truth be told she needed to see him, she needed to see Andrew, she needed to know that he was alright, that he was safe. She needed to tell him the truth about the real mystery behind the woman.

Taking the form of Grace she made her way back to Andrew's apartment, the confidence and ruthlessness that Mystique had known her whole life or at least since she began her membership in the Brotherhood. But the feeling of vulnerability didn't seem to escape her right now. The way she left him, she's seduced before and left men and women either broken-hearted or dead. Magneto's security guard, even the infamous Wolverine, and she didn't lose any sleep over it. But the way she left this human, how she used him, the night they had together...the way he looked at her brought deep buried emotions to the surface that Mystique hasn't felt in a very long time.

Andrew sat quietly in his apartment finishing up on some work about the President's latest statement to the public in regards to mutants. In recent days he'd felt like an idiot, ever since the night he was given the experience of making love for the first time Andrew had never felt more used in his life. The following morning he woke up alone in his bed with no sign of Grace, at first he figured she just left early, but when he saw that his biometric safe had been left wide open he realized immediately and very painfully that he was played since all the documents regarding Erik Lenssher aka Magneto was all missing. A few days later it was revealed that Magneto had escaped his prison.

Disaster!

If there is one word Andrew could think of right now to summarize these last few days are a complete and total…disaster!

If you were asked Andrew a few days ago just how his life had been he would have described it as amazing, wonderful, and majestic.

Considering he finally found someone who's not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. But that hope turned out to be nothing more than a mirage, a facade, not real.

A knock at the door brought him out of thought. He walked over and opened it and his heart dropped.

Standing there before him like a ghost from the past, dressed in the same attire as she was the night they met, was Grace. The blonde who left him brokenhearted and alone after the most memorable and passionate night he could ever remember. The reason for all of his misery and sadness that followed after.

The look on Andrew's face says it all, that he is in no way, shape, or form happy to see her, at all.

Grace can feel the anger emanating off of him, as she knew coming here may be the worst idea but she's had time to consider everything. Erik's free, Stryker's dead, and there's a recruit Pyro for the brotherhood. She should feel fine, but the only thing she can think of is the young man she left behind, her dirty little secret. Truth be told she hasn't been able to get Andrew off her mind since she left and hoped that after everything she's been able to put it past her but to no avail. She missed him dearly and knew she had to make things right with him, so at least if there wasn't something magical they shared that night, at least they'd both finally have closure because she can't go on without ever knowing.

"What are you doing here, honestly I didn't think you'd ever show your face anywhere near me again after you got what you wanted."

"You're Magneto's right-hand woman, you're Mystique aren't you?" He asks with absolute certainty in his voice.

The shapeshifter only nods in response.

"You know even with corrupt politicians and bureaucrats, and mutant hate groups still you're a rumor, a myth whose reputation proceeds you, they say you have the ability to change form and turn into anyone." He quires.

Grace shrugs, "I don't like to brag but that's one way of putting it."

Andrew's expression hardens and turns more hurtful. "So, it wasn't a coincidence that we…just met at that bar was it? You were just trying to get the information on Magneto's whereabouts so you could break him out, and I was just an obstacle that you needed to get out of the way to steal the files with that information, correct?" He asks scornfully.

Grace looks down for some reason she can bring herself to meet his gaze.

"That's how it was at first, but that was before-" She doesn't get a chance to finish.

"BEFORE WHAT?!… Before you decided to make it personal knowledge that I'm gonna wake up alone the next morning, knowing that you broke into my safe and stole the classified files, that I'm going to nearly lose my position, everything I've worked for all gone, is that it?" Andrew yells in a fit of rage.

Grace still can't meet his gaze, but the pain the golden blonde is currently feeling is excruciating beyond belief, she's a mutant, a founding member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, and she doesn't feel sympathy or empathy for homo-sapiens known as humans. But right now…she feels her heart bleeding for this one simple boy. She can't offer him comfort or warmth at the moment, all she can do is give him the truth.

"I planned to seduce you, yes. To get you to take me back to your place, yes. By that point, the plan was to either seduce you and get the files when you were incapacitated or in a desperate scenario drug you and steal them. But I meant to…fall for you." Grace explained.

While Andrew was planning to give her another piece of his mind, he stopped at the mention of an unexpected part of her plan, that piqued his interest.

"Well considering what Professor Xavier and the X-Men have done, the president has appointed me, after Colonel Stryker's conspiracy of treason against the United States as new evidence is been provided to the president, he's had me reinstated and appointed until further notice, so regardless of what you did, fortunately, things turned out well for me, but do you honestly expect me to believe that we shared something more after everything?"

"I suppose not, but the way you talked about mutants and the way that you looked at me, it's how I've always dreamed of someone looking at me after finding out I was a mutant, the one thing that Erik has always taught me and believed is that how can I be accepted by others if I don't even accept myself, and I assure you I've already done that, but you accepted me, Andrew like no one ever has," Grace tells him, emotion evident in her voice.

Andrew's rough expression fades away and mellows out.

"Why do you mean?" He asks.

Grace sighs, "Remember when I told you I have a mutation and that people shunned me because of it, well this is why."

The golden vision of a woman in front of Andrew quickly dissolved into the form of a completely different woman that had radiant blue skin and scales that covered certain parts of her body while she looked nude, she had yellow eyes that stared right into his soul, and slick blood red hair that was short and sexy.

This was her true form, this was the infamous Mystique.

Mystique now out in the open for the young man to see was very very nervous.

She looked up and noticed that the expression on Andrew's face was unreadable at the moment, which only made the sinking feeling in her stomach that much worse, just standing there.

"Wow!, you look-you look…" Andrew was trying to get the word out.

"Beautiful!"

The word catches Mystique off guard as she brings her eyes up the total shock at his description of her.

Andrew steps closer, "Honestly you're probably about the most exotic woman I've ever seen and that's human or mutant, for that matter."

"You know being a mutant rights activist and all that I've seen a fair share of mutants in my time, but I've never seen one like you

"Grace is just an alias as much as Mystique is, my real name is Raven….Raven Darkholme." The blue shapeshifter admits.

Andrew brings a smile to his face with a 'hmm', "Raven…Raven, I like that name, it's strong, dark, mysterious, exotic, beautiful…just like you."

"Also I don't think that you need the whole don't need the world to accept who you are, Raven. Maybe you just need one person that does." Andrew offers.

Mystique feels a tear of joy well up in her eye. Her instincts failed her, to provide that hardened exterior that is breaking at the kind words of this young human boy.

Thinking back to those times when she was a little girl on the run from the world, where she found Charles who praised his naïve idealistic beliefs about humans and mutants living together in peace. Beliefs that are not scraping at her brain, wanting to take a leap of faith.

"No one's ever considered me to be beautiful in this form that's a human, no one." Mystique whispers surprise evident in her tone.

Andrew can tell and takes a step closer to her.

"I do." He simply states touching the side of her face with his hand brushing her skin.

The two lock eyes and slowly move in towards one another their lips meet in the middle as they share the most passionate kiss either of them has ever felt before.

Mystique still in her natural form practically threw herself at Andrew with the agility of an Olympic gymnast wrapping her arms and legs around his body as she clung to him tightly.

She bares her pearly white teeth around her blue lips at him in a smile bringing her mouth to his ear, "I want you to take me, I think it's time I showed you what I can do." Her hot breath against his ear sent chills up his spin and half the blood flow in his body to a certain part between

"Oh I've already been with you before, remember? I think I've already seen what you can do." Andrew hints suggestively with a wiggle of his eyebrows. Getting the innuendo across.

Mystique manages to bring a very…naughty expression as she chuckles amused. "It takes a bit of concentration and energy to stay in my disguised form, so now that I'm not holding back anymore…that means you get all of me." She says so sultrily.

Andrew laughs and Mystique returns it as he carries her to his bedroom kicking the door shut with his foot behind him.

It was going to be a long day to night between them.

Epilogue:

"I love you, Raven."

"And I love you too, Andrew."

Well Andrew and Mystique or as she preferred to be called by her true name Raven as she found the strength to reclaim her identity, thanks to him. They had been together for a while as the world was changing so did they eventually to the point where Raven found out she was pregnant. She and Andrew had a beautiful baby girl who they named Faith considering that it was the faith that Andrew and Raven had in their love for each other that allowed them to accept they could be together. Of course, Andrew thought it was only proper that since they had a daughter and were madly in love, to compete in an ensemble that he drop knee and pulled out a diamond ring that he managed to slip on Raven's finger when she agreed to marry him.
