It was the morning of the next day. I found a note on my bedside table and saw it was from Kyra this time.

Aurora,

I have Persephone this time.

-Kyra

I put the note down before getting up. I undressed and got changed into a clean pair of undergarments. I pulled on my dress before adding the thin yellow belt to it. I put on the heeled shoes and did them up before putting on the white cardigan over top of my dress and did it up. I took off my trinity necklace and switched it for the silver cross necklace. I grabbed today's bag before putting my laptop, charger, homework, cellphone, wallet and Keys into it. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail before grabbing my bag and heading out of the room.

When I got downstairs, Kate, Kyra, Jenna and Jeremy were making breakfast while Buffy was feeding Persephone.

"Morning," I said as I walked in and made my tea in my to-go cup.

"Morning," Jenna replied as she looked up from the counter.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked.

"Mini breakfast pizzas," Kate answered.

"That sounds yummy," I returned before kissing Persephone's head and saying. "Morning, love." I sat down next to her as Buffy cleaned her face before asking. "How did she do this morning?"

"She drank down her bottle before I dressed her," Kyra answered as the oven dinged.

"Breakfast is ready," Jeremy voiced as he got an oven mitt out and got the pan out.

Kate put the breakfast pizzas on the platter before setting them down on the table.

"Breakfast is served," Kate voiced before they sat down, and we got down to eating.

A little while later, we finished breakfast and were out the door for school with our drinks in hand.

A Slight Time Skip Later

When we got to school, we went to our classes before meeting up with Giles in the afternoon and told him about the night before as we headed to the library.

"What you must realize is that you, Aurora have very different temperaments," Giles said before taking a sip of his drink.

"Yeah, while mine and Buffy's are sane ones," I replied as Giles chuckled.

"The girl's not playing with a full deck, Giles. She has almost no deck. She has a three," Buffy added.

"You said yourselves that she killed one. She's just a plucky fighter who got a little carried away. Which is natural because she's focused on the slaying. She doesn't have a whole other life here as you all do," Klaus voiced.

"She doesn't need a life. She has ours," Buffy responded.

"I think you all are being a little..." Finn started to say.

"No, we're being a lot," Kate said as Klaus took a sip of his coffee before she continued. "We know that. But she nearly got us killed. The girl needs help."

"All right. We'll see if I can reach her Watcher at the retreat. They're..." Giles said before checking his watch. "...eight hours ahead. I guess they're probably sitting down to a nightcap."

We continued down towards the library without Giles before realizing he wasn't with us. We headed back as we heard him say.

"I wonder if they still kayak. I used to love a good kayak. You see, t-they don't even consider..." Giles continued to say before we gave him a look. "Sorry. I digress." We continued down towards the library.

"The vampires who attacked you, can you tell us some details that might help us trace their lineage?" Elijah asked before adding. "Any ancient or modern dress. Amulets, cultish tattoos..." Before sipping his tea.

"Uh, no tats. Crappy dressers," Kyra voiced.

"And, uh... Oh, the one that nearly bit me mentioned something about kissing toast," Buffy stated before I saw Giles's face spark with interest as Buffy continued. "He lived for kissing toast."

"You mean 'Kakistos'?" Giles suggested.

"Maybe it was taquitos. Maybe, he lived for taquitos," Buffy said as she ignored him before looking at him and saying. "What?"

"Kakistos," Giles repeated the name before heading into the library.

"Is that bad?" I questioned as we followed him.

When we walked into the library, Giles paced towards the counter before setting his things down.

"Kakistos is Greek. It means the worst of the worst," Klaus voiced as Giles went behind the counter.

"It's also the name of a vampire so old his hands and feet are cloven," Giles stated as he went into his office to grab something before coming out and setting a book on the counter.

"Now, this guy shows up two days ago, right?" Buffy questioned.

"Right around the same time our new little sister makes the scene," I replied.

"You think he and Faith are connected?" Jenna suggested as she came out of the storage room with a baby monitor.

"There are two things that I don't believe in: coincidence and leprechauns," Kate stated.

"Well, it's entirely possible that they both arrived here by chance," Finn returned.

"Okay, but I was right about the leprechauns, right?" Kate questioned.

"As far as we know, yes," Giles answered after he thought for a moment.

"Good. Okay, you get England on the phone. We are going to change and then go talk to Faith to see if 'khaski trousers' rings..." Buffy told him.

"Kakistos," Finn corrected her.

"Kakistos rings a bell or an alarm," Kate voiced.

"Right," Giles said.

"Right," We repeated before the library doors opened.

"We'll watch Persephone," Cole told me as he, Andy, Leo, Sam and Dean came into the library.

"Okay, protect her," I replied as I turned to them.

"We will," Sam said before we headed out of the library.

After the library, we headed to the bathroom and changed into fighting outfits as we believed something could happen tonight. Then we headed towards the exit before we were approached by Scott.

"Hi," Scott said.

"Scott!" Buffy replied in surprise.

"How are you?" Scott asked.

"Uh, o-okay. You know, w-we gotta..." Buffy stuttered.

"I know, be somewhere else, right? Think of this as my last-ditch effort," Scott said as he became nervous. "I realized that one more time is going to qualify as stalking. I've given it a lot of thought... some might say too much thought... t-to how I might be a part of your life. It begins with a conversation. We all know this." Before suggesting. "Maybe over a cup of coffee or maybe at the Buster Keaton festival playing on State Street all this weekend."

We all found his overture very sweet and warm. I could tell Buffy was taking a moment to consider his offer.

"You know, come to think of it, I-I don't think I've given a fair chance to... Buster Keaton. I... I like what I've seen of him so far. I... I think it might be time to see a little more," Buffy responded.

"Keaton is the key. Oh," Scott said before reaching into his pocket. "Um, I got you a little present." He pulled out a small box. "The guy in the retro shop said that it represents friendship," He held it over to her. "And that is something I would very much like to have with you."

Buffy took it before opening it. I silently gasped as it was a Claddagh ring like mine.

"You like?" Scott questioned before Buffy had an anxiety attack because of what the ring meant to me.

"I can't. I-I-I can't do this," Buffy stuttered as she tried to catch her breath.

"Okay, I get the message," Scott said as he picked up the box and ring before leaving.

"Are you alright?" Giles questioned as he came over and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Uh... Giles, we, uh..." I said as I wiped away a tear. "Yeah, we're fine."

"Did you reach the retreat?" Kyra asked.

"Yes, we did," Elijah answered.

"W-what did her Watcher say?" Kate questioned.

"Her watcher's dead," Giles told us.

We stared at him in disbelief before one of us spoke.

"We need to go find her," Kate voiced.

"Go, we'll be fine," Klaus said before hugging Kyra.

We started our way out of the school.

Time Skip

It was almost dark, and it took some time before we found Faith at a cheap hotel as a hotel manager and her were talking.

"The room's eighteen dollars a day. That's every day," The manager told her.

"Yeah, I know. I'll get it to you by tomorrow, I swear," Faith responded.

"It's not like I own the place," The Manager sighed and shrugged.

"But I bet you will someday," Faith said with a smile.

"Not if I listen to girls like you," The manager replied as we appeared at the door and stepped in before saying. "Roommates are extra."

"We're just visiting," I told him before the manager gave up and walked out of the room.

Kate reached for the door and shut it.

"So, what brings you to the poor side of town?" Faith asked us.

"Cloven guy. Goes by the name Kakistos," Kyra told her.

"What do you know about Kakistos?" Faith returned as she was taken aback by what Kyra said.

"That's here," I voiced.

I could tell Faith was scared but not understanding why she was.

"We're not happy to see old friends, are we?" Buffy suggested before asking. "What'd he do to you?"

"It's what I did to him, all right?" Faith voiced as she grabbed her bag before putting things into it.

"And what was that? Faith, you came here for a reason. We can help," I stated.

"You can mind your own business," Faith said as she looked up from packing before saying. "I'm the one that can handle this."

"Yeah. You're a real badass when it comes to packing," Kyra replied before we got a look from Faith.

"What was that you said about our problems? Gotta deal and move on? Well, we have the 'moving on' part here. What about dealing? Is that just something you're gonna dump on us?" Buffy questioned.

"You don't know me. You don't what I've been through. I'll take care of this, all right?" Faith responded as she finished packing and was heading for the door.

"Like you took care of you watcher?" Buffy suggested.

Suddenly, you could feel the coldness in the air as Faith let go of the doorknob before looking down sadly.

"He killed her, didn't he?" I asked her as she turned to face us.

"They don't have a word for what he did to her," Faith reacted in anger.

Seconds later, there was a knock on the door. Faith looked through the door hole and saw something.

"Oh, what now?" Faith sighed.

"Faith, you run and he runs after you," I told her.

"That's where the head starts comes in handy," Faith replied as she opened the door to find the vampire Giles described holding the dead manager.

Faith jumped back as Kakistos dropped the manager's body.

"Faith," Kakistos said with a smile.

He roared as he grabbed Faith by the neck before she grabbed his wrist and tried to pull him off, but he was too strong.

"No!" Faith screamed.

Buffy and I rushed up between them before shoving Faith back into the room while forcing Kakistos to let go of her and slamming the door on his arm. He yelled in anger and pain before pulling his arm out while Buffy slammed the door shut, locked it and put the safety chain on it.

"I just bought us a little more..." Buffy said before Kakistos punched through the door and tried to reach for Buffy. "...Time!"

"No! Nooooo!" Faith screamed in panic.

"Scream later! Escape now!" Kate said as we dragged Faith into the bathroom.

I smashed the window out before we climbed through it.

"Let's go!" I said as I took Faith's hand, and we began to run again.

A little while later, we reached a fork in the alley and took the left side before we found a warehouse. Buffy crashed through before climbing in after her. We scrambled to our feet as a vampire ran right past us.

"We're okay," Kyra said before facing Faith and asked. "What happened?"

Faith was still freaking out to tell us anything.

"Faith, what happened?" I asked her.

"I... I was there when he killed my watcher, and I saw what he did to her... what he was gonna do to me," Faith told us as she shook in fright. "I tried to stop them, but I... I couldn't, and I ran."

"Faith, the first rule of slaying: don't die. You did the right thing. Okay?" Buffy told her as she heavily breathed.

"You didn't die. Now you do the math. There is one of him and five of us," Kyra voiced.

"No," Faith whispered as she shook her head.

"Yes," I returned.

"No," Faith said as she started panicking.

We looked around to see what she was seeing and found the dead bodies of people who were missing.

"This is his place," Faith added.

"He drove us here," Kate stated as a vampire appeared at the entrance and growled at us.

We began to run through the warehouse as the vampire chased us. Two more came our way as Buffy stopped and kicked a bucket into one of the vampire's faces before he stumbled backwards and over a chair. I spun a hook kick to the other vampire before kicking another one behind me. He fell backwards over a table as Buffy ran and jumped onto the table, logged rolled over it before kicking him in the back as he tried to get up. Buffy rolled to stand on the table before picking up a crowbar and swinging it baseball-style at yet another vampire advancing toward her. I staked a vampire that was coming at me.

"Faith!" Kate yelled as we got her attention.

"Don't die!" Buffy screamed as she threw her the crowbar.

Faith caught the crowbar in mid-air, but before she could swing it at Kakistos, he punched her head and knocked her into a bunch of large wooden beams. Faith hit the fall as another vampire came at me. I threw him into a table as Kate staked him with her silver stake. Kakistos stepped towards Faith as she scrambled away against the wall before he reached and grabbed her by the shirt, picking her up off of the ground.

"No!" Faith screamed before he punched her in the face.

Buffy and I staked the vampires were fighting as Kakistos dropped Faith after he whaled on her before Buffy jumped in and attacked him. I continued to fight another vampire as he arrived before hearing another vampire talking to another.

"If we don't do something, the Master could get killed," we heard the dark-skinned vampire say.

"Well, our prayers are with him," the same vampire said as he and another vampire left.

Buffy tried to stake Kakistos, but the stake didn't penetrate his thick hide and had no effect on him. He grabbed Buffy by the hair and lifted her before throwing her back. I could still hear the dark-skinned vampire.

"There's a reason these vengeance crusades are out of style. It's the modern vampire who sees the bigger picture," I heard the dark-skinned vampire say.

Buffy fought him while trying to stake him again as I stacked another vampire.

"I guess you need a bigger stake, Slayer!" Kakistos manically laughed.

Faith and I spotted a broken beam before we ran and grabbed it. Faith picked up before Kakistos could turn his attention to us and shoved it into his chest. Kakistos burst into flames and then ashes as Faith heaved a few breaths. Kate, Kyra and I looked at Buffy and Faith before looking at the ashes on the ground.

"You hungry?" Buffy asked.

"Starved," Faith answered.

We headed out of the building to find something to eat.

After we ate our snacks, we separated and headed home. We headed home, showered and grabbed a drink before heading upstairs.

"Let's talk in my room," I said.

"Okay," Kate replied as they headed to my room.

I walked into the nursery and saw Persephone asleep in Cole's arms. I picked Persephone out of Cole's arms before laying her in the crib. I put her blanket on her before whispering goodnight. I picked a blanket up and laid it on Cole before heading out of the room and into my room.

"Hey," Buffy said as they were laying on my floor with sleeping bags.

"Sleeping here tonight?" I asked.

"Yes, after tonight, we need a sister's sleepover," Kate voiced.

"Well, my bed is big enough for four there is no need for you to sleep down here," I stated.

They got into bed before placing their pillows and blankets down on it. We laid down before starting to talk.

"Do you think Faith being here is safe?" I asked.

"I don't know, but we will see," Kate answered.

"What about your vision?" Buffy questioned.

"Maybe we can stop her from joining the big bad," I suggested.

We continued talking until all of us fell asleep.

Time Skip

It was the morning of another new day. I woke to find Cole and Persephone in bed with me.

"Morning," Cole whispered as Persephone crawled on me.

"Morning," I whispered back before saying. "Morning to you, my love."

"Here, I'll go get Persephone fed. You get dressed," Cole said as he took Persephone from me and headed out of the room.

I got undressed out of my PJs before throwing them into the hamper. I got into clean undergarments before slipping into my red dress. I got into my heels before taking off my Claddagh ring and put on the Claddagh bracelet instead. I added other jewelry before doing my hair. I grabbed my school bag and purse before adding my homework, cellphone, laptop, chargers, wallet, and keys into the bags. I headed out of the bedroom before heading downstairs.

As I got downstairs, I headed into the kitchen dining room to see Kyra feeding Persephone while the boys cooked breakfast.

"Morning," Jeremy said.

"Morning," I replied before asking Cole. "Cole, can you help me with the zipper?"

"Here, I'll do it," Sam voiced before doing the zipper up on the dress.

"Thank you, Sam," I said as I thanked him.

"We're having apple pie crepes," Elijah told me.

"That sounds yummy way to start the day," I responded as I sat down.

"Your tea," Cole said as he set my to-go cup.

"Mm, thank you," I replied after a sip of my tea.

A little while later, breakfast was ready, and we started eating while talking about today's activities before heading out for the day.

When we got to school, we headed to the library to meet up with Giles and the others to tell them about last night.

"The council has approved our request. Faith is to stay here indefinitely," Giles said as he walked to the table before he continued. "I'm to look after you three until a new watcher is assigned." He picked up some pictures.

Buffy was sitting on the table while Elijah held Persephone.

"Good. She came through in the end," Buffy voiced before sliding off the table and continuing what she was saying. "She had a lot to deal with, but she did it. She got it behind her."

"I'm glad to hear it," Jenna voiced.

I looked down at the table in sadness before saying.

"Angel was cured," I stated.

"I'm sorry?" Giles said as he looked up.

"When I killed him, Angel was cured," I replied before turning to Willow. "Your spell worked at the last minute, Will." Willow looked up as she took in what I said. "I was about to take him out, and um... something went through him..." I started to cry as Cole pulled me into him. "And he was Angel again. He-he didn't remember anything that he'd done. He just held me. Um, but i-it was... it was too late, and I, I had to. So I-I told him that we loved him... and I kissed him... and I killed him." I let out a sob before I hugged Cole.

The others stayed silent before anyone who was there with me that night spoke.

"I don't know if that helps with your spell or not, Giles," Kate stated.

"Uh, yes, I-I believe it will," Giles responded.

"I'm sorry," Willow sympathetically told me.

"It's okay," I replied while giving them a sad smile. "I've been holding on to that for so long. It felt good to get it out. We'll see you guys later."

My sisters, Buffy, Jeremy, Andy, Leo, Cole, Sam, Dean, Rebekah, Jo, Kol and I walked out of the library.

Back in the library, Giles, Willow and the others that stayed watched them leave before Giles headed into his office with Willow following him.

"Giles, I know you don't like me playing with mystical forces, but I can help with this binding spell," Willow voiced.

"There is no spell," Giles told her.

Willow stopped and realized that he'd made the whole spell issue up to get Aurora to speak about her inner sorrow.

Back in the Halls, Buffy was waiting for Scott to get out of class so she could speak to him.

"Scott," Buffy said as she spotted Scott coming out of the class.

"Uh, hello," Scott said as he stopped and pulled his backpack on.

"Hey. Uh, I was, um... I was waiting for you to get out of class," Buffy told him.

"Oh. Um, why?" Scott asked.

"Um... the ring that you were gonna give me. It brings some sadness to me because my godsister's boyfriend gave her one before he changed. But, I liked what you said about friendship," Buffy said before she started to ramble. "I liked it a lot. And Buster Keaton. Big fun. And I'm capable of big fun even though there's no earthly way you could possibly know that about me. Wow, If I knew I was gonna go on this long, I probably would've brought some water. Uh," She exhaled. "...what I'm trying to say is, um... if you would still like to go to the film festival... and I would understand it if you didn't... I'd pretty much love to go with you."

"Uh... Ahem," Scott said as he looked awkwardly before shrugging and continuing to speak. "I don't know, Buffy. I'm, I'm really gonna have to think about this."

Buffy nodded in understanding. He started down the hall before coming back.

"Okay. You know what, I thought about it, and I'm in," Scott told her before asking. "When do you want to go?"

"Uh, well, I have one thing I have to do tonight, and then I'm good," Buffy replied with a smile.

"Good," Scott returned with a smile.

"Well, I have to go meet with my god siblings. So I'll see you later," Buffy voiced.

"Bye," Scott said before Buffy headed off to find Aurora and the others.

Time Skip

After classes, we headed home for dinner before heading to the manor for the memorial. When we got to the manor, we walked into the great room where Acathla stood. We walked towards the spot where I slew Angel. I looked down at the floor before tears began to fall down my face. I pulled my ring out before looking at it.

"Goodbye, for now, my Angel," I whispered before setting it in the same spot he disappeared.

As I touched the ground, I got a vision flash of Angel returning to us. I shook my head as I wanted my vision to come true but didn't know it would.

"What is it? What did you see?" Cole asked.

"Angel... coming back... It felt so real," I answered as I got up and looked around the hall.

"Let's go home," Buffy voiced.

"Yeah," I choked before we headed out of the manor without realizing what would happen after we left.

Back inside the manor, the ring on the floor illuminated. The light became intense at every moment before the ring began to vibrate madly on the floor. The room started to fill with a blindingly bright white light as a dimensional portal opened above the ring before a body fell through and hit the stone floor hard. The light faded as the portal closed and left a naked man lying. He unsteadily tried to get up but was too weak to do more than lift his face. As natural light hit his face, it was a very dazed Angel as his breath was shallow and laboured while he violently shivered as he looked around the room before blacking out.
