Grim walked into Lincoln's room while the boy was playing on his GameStation 5, "Lincoln, what are ya doin', mon?"

Lincoln didn't bother looking away from the screen, "I'm playing video games, obviously."

Grim strode in, "Shouldn't ya be helpin' us out with the Halloween Special?"

Lincoln shrugged, "I'm not in the mood, besides, Halloween specials get delayed a lot, dont they?"

Grim rubbed his jawbone, then shrugged, "Eh, you know how these things go. Most if the time they come out before Halloween or a week or so after."

Fun fact: Billy and Mandy's Jacked Up Halloween actually first aired on Halloween of 2003. Unfortunately, Underfist: Halloween Bash came out a few weeks before Halloween on October 12th, 2008, which might be another reason that special failed.

Lincoln cleared his throat, mildly annoyed by my rambling. "So, anyway, I'm playing this game where you're a Grim Reaper trying to help a lost soul reach the ninth Underworld in Aztec-inspired afterlife, by solving puzzles and tricking people. I felt like playing it since The Day of the Dead is just around the corner, which the game is centered around."

Grim watched Lincoln play the game and frowned, "This game is slander! It depicts Grim Reapers as having human accents, and being underhanded tricksters! How insulting!"

Lincoln paused the game and looked Grim up and down, "Right...slander..."

Grim folded his arms, "Hey, when I do it, it's cool."

Seriously, go play or watch a playthrough of Grim Fandango. It's a great game, and a good way to celebrate the Day of the Dead.

Let's hope I get inspired to finish the Halloween Special before Christmas at least, I barely got a quarter of it done. There will be no Jack and no Underfist in this one, I got something more...out of left field in mind.
