The theater screen opens on a aerial of Forever Fall. A Vale police bullhead flies underneath the camera as it hovers in place.
The camera cuts to the inside and shows Harriet hanging on to the hand guard while looking out into the forest with a desperate ferver.
Eventually she sighs and taps her headset to change frequencies.
Harriet: I don't see any signs of her.
Marrow: Alright we'll get a search team out there ASAP. I've just got news Juniors body was found back in Vale.
Harriet: I'll head back now.
She reaches up and switches frequencies again.
Harriet: Okay let's get back on ground.
Pilot: 10-4 heading back home.
The screen cuts to a panning shot, showing the red trees of Forever Fall. The camera pans around a tree into another area of the forest and shows raised train tracks.
The camera cuts to a panning shot through tall blades of red grass eventually showing the Dominator with its driver's side door open.
The camera pans above the Dominator to show Raven sitting against the support of the train tracks unconscious.
Her shirt is discarded and laying on the ground. Gauze is wrapped around her arm and entire torso. Blood is all around her as the camera zooms on her still masked face, before the camera cuts to black.
5 Years Earlier (Royal Blood: Better Strangers)
The screen fades in on the border between Vacuo and Vale. The camera pans to a large lake and the town on its shore as the screen fades into the sky.
The screen comes back over water as it pans up to show Vale from the docks and the title. Raven Branwen: A Greater Evil.
The screen cuts back to the lake town and flys over a road. The camera eventually cuts to a dirt road as a figure walks by carrying a backpack.
Raven Branwen is wearing a black hoodie with a raven patched on the shoulder. She's also wearing a white tee and skinny jeans. She walks up to a chain link fence, she tosses her bag over and vaults over it.
She lands and looks around, she finds herself in an auto repair yard with a fence surrounding the perimeter. She also notices a few scrapped cars with pieces missing as she stalks through the yard.
She eventually finds an area with intact cars, she moves between them until finally coming to a stop at the one she's looking for. The Phoenix.
Raven stares at the car, old memories surfacing at the sight of it, good memories, bad memories.
And then the memory that's driving Raven at this moment, she snarls and kicks the wheel.
Raven goes to the driver's side and takes out a lockpick, sets down her backpack and goes to work. Eventually the car unlocks and Raven enters, throwing the backpack into the passenger.
Raven sits there with her head laying on the headrest. She takes in the feeling, the white and red leather seats and the rose sigil hanging by the mirror.
Raven almost smiles until the memory driving her sours the car's feeling. She tears the sigil off and throws it in the back seat, she grabs one of the sun visors and flips it down. She grabs the keys that fall out and stares at them, the same rose sigil burned into them.
She breathes shakily and inserts the key, the older engine growling to life.
Raven doesn't turn on the headlights and drives out of the yard, when she's on the road and away from the yard she switches them on.
The camera follows Raven as she drives away, cars pass by and eventually Raven goes over train tracks. She follows the road until she turns onto a dirt road off the main road.
She drives beside the tracks and eventually stops. She turns her head towards a light in the distance and her ears pick up the horn carried on the wind.
She grabs her backpack and takes out the Nevermore mask, its pristine white clashing with the bright red lines. She puts it on and slams her foot on the pedal, she turns hard and drives onto the tracks.
Raven drives straight at the train, she gets closer and closer.
Until a truck comes out of nowhere and rams her off the tracks.
Raven loses control of the car and hits her head on the wheel, the car spins to a stop as Raven removes her mask awkwardly and tosses it in the back seat.
Raven covers her eyes as a bright light shines in her face, she doesn't even notice a figure getting closer to the driver's door.
The figure pulls the door open, grabs Raven by the hood and pulls her out.
Raven gets a face full of dirt that she spits out when she hears a shotgun being pumped.
Raven pushes herself off the ground and looks right at the man aiming a sawed-off shotgun at her face.
Roman: Who the hell are you?
Raven: Who the hell are you?
Roman: I'm the guy you just stole that car from.
Raven: Well, then I guess I'm the bitch who just stole your fucking car.
Roman stares at Raven with the gun still raised, looking her over.
And then laughs while lowering the gun.
Roman: Alright kid, it's none of my business to ask what you were doing out here-
Raven: So don't.
Roman: Maybe we could help each other out? Miss…
Raven: I don't want your help and you don't need my name.
Roman smirks and looks at the Phoenix.
Roman: How about you return my car and then we can talk at the yard, yeah?
Raven looks at the Phoenix and the mask she threw in the backseat, while thinking it over.
Raven: Alright.
The camera cuts to the repair yard's entrance showing Roman and Raven driving into the yard. Raven follows Roman's truck around the yard until they get to the back of the main building.
Raven parks behind Roman's truck and next to a large fuel tanker. Roman gets out of his truck and walks over to a red tool cabinet and places the shotgun in it, before reaching into his chest pocket and pulling a pack of cigars out.
The camera cuts to Raven slowly walking over to Roman as he lights the cigar.
Raven: What kinda help?
Roman looks at her.
Roman: I'm sorry?
Raven: W-what kinda help do you need?
Roman mulls it over, taking a deep drag and blowing the smoke out.
Roman: Well I take it your good with cars?
Raven nods, Roman smirks and points to the main building.
Roman: For now you can help with the customers in the auto shop, later I'll let you help with the cars.
Raven: That sounds simple.
Roman chuckles a little while taking another drag.
Roman: Yeah, I'll even let you keep the car you stole since it wasn't getting any use anyway.
Raven turns her head towards the Phoenix and nods.
Roman: I'll see you in the morning then?
Raven: Sure.
Roman looks at the tanker and then looks towards Raven.
Roman: What's your name anyways kid?
Raven turns towards him.
Raven: Raven. Raven Xia-... Branwen.
The camera cuts to black and a subtitle is shown: A week later.
The camera fades in to show a pair of legs working under a car. Raven rolls out and sits up, she's wearing gray coveralls with a name tag on her left breast. A few buttons are undone showing off the top of her sports bra. Her face has a few grease stains and a little dust on her head with more stains on her coveralls.
Raven turns her head towards a voice.
?: You said you had my money last week!
Roman: I know, I know.
Raven stands up and walks over to the commotion. She spots Roman talking with some biker guy with a spiky mohawk.
Roman: Look I can give you half of it today.
Biker: How bought I beat you half to death you piece of shit!
Roman: Just a couple more days is all I need.
Raven: Everything okay here?
The two look at her and Roman talks first.
Roman: Yes everything is fine.
Biker: Unless you have my money this is none you're fucking buisness.
Raven looks at the biker and then Roman.
Roman: I have it under control Raven.
Biker: Get lost whore.
The biker waves his hand in the opposite direction as Raven turns back towards the shop.
Biker: Now back to my goddamn money.
Roman: Until I come up with the rent, half is all I can give you.
Biker: And how long is that gonna take.
Roman: It shouldn't take more than three days, four at most by then you'll have your money.
Biker: Fine but if you don't have it by then I'll crush your head in-
Raven comes back into the frame swinging a large pipe wrench into the biker's head.
The biker falls to the floor as Roman staggers back in shock, Raven slams the wrench onto the guys chest and a crack is heard, she moves to his side and slams the wrench into his head and again and again and again until his head is nothing but gore and greymatter.
Raven pants, more emotional than tired. Roman grabs Raven's shoulder and pulls her back from swinging again.
Roman: Gods, kid, I think you got 'em.
Raven panted while staring at the corpse of the biker. Before snapping her head towards Roman who somewhat backed off.
Raven: What did you do to piss him off?
Roman: I just got unlucky, it doesn't matter.
Raven: It does matter.
Raven stood taller while wiping blood off the wrench with a rage she had in her back pocket.
Raven: I need to know what hole you're dragging me down and how deep it goes.
Roman: What are you getting at?
Raven: How many people have you pissed off Roman.
Roman: He's it there's no more I promise.
Raven looked back at the corpse and nodded slowly coming to accept what she was told.
Roman: Now let's get this cleaned up before anyone sees.
The screen cuts to black and fades into Raven driving towards the Auto Repair Yard at what seems like early morning.
She watches as a nice looking sedan pulls out of the parking lot and drives in the opposite direction. She glances at her rearview mirror as the screen cuts to Roman working on a compact SUV, the Phoenix parks behind him.
Raven gets out of the car and walks to Roman, he stops working and wipes his hands.
Roman: Hey kid.
Raven: Who was that?
Roman looks back to where the sedan went and puts his hand in his chest pocket pulling out his cigar pack.
Roman: That was a message from the devil himself.
Roman walks a little away from the building as he lights the cigar.
Raven: Come again.
Raven follows Roman as he takes a drag and puffs the smoke out.
Roman: An old friend, he runs a business in Anima.
Raven: What kind of business?
Roman: It's not an honest one, mostly drugs. His name Hei Xiong most people know him as Junior.
Raven: I thought you didn't piss anyone else off.
Roman: I didn't. He just asked a favor of us, a job of sorts.
Raven: What's the job?
Roman: Junior wants to expand his territory, he seeks fortune in human and faunus trafficking here in Vale.
Raven: And where do we come in?
Roman: Apparently there's someone standing in his way. We'll find out more from his informant in the City of Vale next week.
Roman looks to Raven.
Roman: What do you say?
Raven: I've got nothing left to lose.
The screen fades to a camera flying over a forest and into Vale. The camera cuts to Roman and Raven driving into a garage as Roman voices over the events.
Roman: I've been saving up for a new garage, so we can still do business on the side.
Raven looks around at the garage as Roman grabs a box from his truck and walks past her as the screen bleeds into Raven driving through the streets.
Roman: I also went ahead and rented an apartment for you in Little Mistral. It's not much but it should do for now.
Raven drove through streets decorated like mistral with a few buildings even resembling Mistral buildings.
Roman: We'll be meeting Junior's informant in the morning.
Raven turned into an alleyway with a small parking space, shut the engine off and stepped out. She flipped the keys in her hand as she looked towards a bus stop and slowly looked towards a large building with a scowl.
Raven shook her head and walked off camera as it faded to black. The screen reopened above a door as Raven and Roman walked through.
Secretary: Hi, how can I help you?
Roman walked up to the secretary desk.
Roman: We have a meeting.
The secretary does something with the computer and smiles.
Secretary: You can take a seat over there, she'll be with you in a minute.
Raven walks over to the chair with her arms crossed, Roman sits down with a groan.
Roman: Oum, my back.
Roman tries to move to get comfortable.
Roman: Gods dammit my hips.
Raven looks at Roman.
Roman: Monty, for no gods damn reason.
Raven: I think that just means you're old.
Roman: Ehh, yeah, yeah you little shit.
Raven: You done?
Roman: Sorry I'm tired.
Raven: Still need your mid day nap?
Roman: Little shit.
The screen cuts to a woman in a black suit and undone collar, she also has a white napkin tucked in her breast pocket. She is sitting at a table across from Raven and Roman.
Informant: To lay it out plain and simple, Junior wants to do business here in Vale. However, a gang called the Vagos already run their own drug operation here. After contacting them they refused to come to any business agreement and we have no choice but to get our hands dirty.
Raven: You mean get our hands dirty.
Informant: Yes, that is where you two come in. Junior doesn't want to build up any poor legal reputation before he arrives so it can't be traced back to him.
Roman: So what exactly are we supposed to do.
Informant: Your job is to cripple the Vagos' drug operation, it won't be easy.
The Informant grabs a photo and shows them a mugshot of a man with a long braid and crazy yellow eyes.
Informant: Their leader, Tyrian Callows, keeps the whole business in the dark.
Raven looks at the photo, committing the face and name to memory.
Raven: Why don't we just take Tyrian out?
Informant: Junior wants Callows alive. As soon as you're done Junior will arrive and take care of him, whether that means making a deal with him or killing him I don't know.
The Informant looks back at the photo.
Informant: Best you stay away from Callows he has a way of getting into one's head. All we know about how he moves drugs is he makes them in the city, packages them into trucks, delivers them to various fronts and sells them discreetly. This month's shipment could go out any time this week.
The informant leans forward with her hands interlaced.
Informant: So do what you need to do to get rid of those shipments.
Roman looks towards Raven and then back to the Informant.
Roman: Alright, we'll keep in touch.
Raven stands from her chair and walks away, Roman is a bit slower and pushes his seat back in.
Informant: And for Oum sake please don't involve the authorities.
The screen cuts to Roman standing in front of a board with a map of Tyrians territory in his new office while Raven is lounging on the couch in a Spruce Willis tank top.
Roman: Well she didn't give us much to work with.
Roman glances at Raven.
Roman: You got a plan?
Raven thinks for a few moments, she flips herself upright and moves towards the board.
Raven: I suppose I'll start asking questions.
Roman: Huh?
Raven motions towards an area circled in red marker.
Raven: She said this was the heart of his territory, I'll ask around for Tyrian.
Roman: Uhh, kid? She specifically told us to avoid Tyrian.
Raven: What's the worst that could happen?
Roman: A lot of things, death, drugged and sold. Just raped in general.
Raven looks at Roman with a flat face and Roman backs up with his hands up.
Raven: I'll be fine.
The screen cuts to Raven driving around; she drives until she reaches a courtyard apartment.
She stops the car on the side of the road and gets out. She's wearing a maroon henley shirt and a beige work jacket with some grease stains.
She walks into the empty courtyard and looks at all the boarded up doors. A man in a hoodie walks out.
Goon: Hey there chica. What do you think you are doing around here?
Raven: I'm looking for Tyrian Callows.
The screen cuts to Raven sitting in a dingy apartment with Tyrian across from her.
Tyrian: I take it you're Juniors girl then.
Raven: And I take it you know why I'm here?
Tyrian nods but looks back at his tail thats slinking around his neck.
Tryian: Have you ever heard the saying "he who fights with monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster"?
Tyrian flicks his stinger out.
Tyrian: I never agreed with that. You know why?
Raven shakes her head.
Tyrian: Because I believe that it takes a monster to kill a monster.
Tyrian's stinger scrapes across his cheek slowly drawing blood.
Tyrian: What about you? Are you a monster, Raven?
Raven narrows her eyes at him.
Raven: How do you know my name?
Tyrian chuckles as the stinger continues cutting to his forehead.
Tyrian: Have you ever had Pulque?
Raven: No.
Tyrian: My father used to drink it, back in Vacuo, it comes from the cactus plant. He told me that when you took the bottle from your mouth it'd leave a string behind from your mouth to the bottle, like a spider's web. He said it showed that the truth sticks inside.
Raven: Great story.
Tyrian: My point is Raven. What if I cut you open right now, what dark secrets would I find? Or do I already know them.
Raven levels a glare at Tyrian.
Raven: You don't know me.
Tyrian giggles.
Tyrian: I know what you did, Raven, Mató al hombre que amaba.
Raven scowls and abruptly stands up, the guards point their pistols at her.
Raven: I'm done here.
Raven turns towards the door as Tyrian laughs and stops cutting his face.
Tyrian: I'm gonna make a monster out of you, Raven Branwen.
Tyrian continues laughing as Raven closes the door, but stops once she's gone.
Tyrian: Alright, go deal with her.
The screen cuts to Raven leaving the apartment and walking towards the stairs, when a goon walks up with a bat.
: Where you going, Puta?
Raven stops and glances behind her to see a man with a pistol. The man with a bat walks closer and winds back.
Raven stands there as the bat comes down. She grabs the bat, pulls it towards her, grabs the man and turns him towards the goon with a pistol.
The goon with a gun fires into her human shield as she moves forward. Once close enough, she shoves the corpse onto the goon, causing him to fall. Raven grabs and uses the bat to smash the goon's head in.
Another goon fires up at the balcony from the courtyard. Raven ducks down and runs for the stairs. She makes it to the stairwell and runs down to the second floor. She runs into a goon with his back turned to her, she grabs him by the throat and fires her pistol at the goon who shot at her.
The goon is shot by Raven and falls to the ground. Raven puts a hand on the goon she's holding's jaw and twists hard.
The goon falls to the ground with a broken neck. She vaults over the guardrail to the ground and is kicked in the back by a man wielding a hatchet.
She rolls on the ground as the guy tries to hit her with the blade. She kicks him in the face and gets up.
He tries to attack again but Raven grabs his wrist and shoots him in the head. She hears more people coming and runs out of the courtyard, she jumps in the Phoenix and drives away.
The screen cuts back to Tyrian leaning on the guardrail with a crazed smile. He looks at the corpses Raven left in her wake. Two goons come up to him.
: Should we chase her Tyrian?
Tyrian: No, no let the little bird run.
: Are you sure, she could be a problem.
Tyrian: Not a problem.
He glances back at the corpse with a neck snapped by Raven.
Tyrian: Not yet, Recién comenzando con ella. (Just getting started with her.) Go find where she sleeps at night, just in case things get out of hand we'll know where to find her.
Tyrian giggles as the goons leave. The screen cuts to black and fades into a skyscraper, before cutting to the Informant sitting across from Raven and Roman; she doesn't look happy.
Informant: Are you insane, what were you thinking!
Roman: Well she survived.
Informant: That doesn't justify strolling into Callows' neighborhood. You're lucky the cops didn't show up sooner.
Raven leans in her face and tone passive.
Raven: With all due respect, you hired me to do a job. Now I'm gonna do that job however I think it needs to get done. You gotta problem with that, find someone else.
The Informant laughs.
Informant: Alright, Branwen. If that's how you wanna do things then that's how you'll do things.
Raven nods.
Informant: Anyways I have some new information that should get this bullshit over with sooner.
Roman: Let's hear it.
Informant: There's a club we believe is a front to Callows' drug operation. If this information is correct the owner will know where and when the pickups will be. After you obtain that information, well you don't need me to tell you. Good luck.
Roman: Will do.
Raven stands up with Roman and begins walking out.
Informant: And Branwen.
Raven stops and looks at the Informant.
Informant: Don't get too cocky, Junior doesn't play around.
Raven: Right.
The screen cuts to the garage with Raven storing a can of gasoline in the Phoenix's trunk. Roman walks over now wearing his coveralls and wiping his hands.
Roman: Hey kid.
Raven stops and looks at him.
Roman: What exactly happened yesterday with Tyrian?
Raven: I already told you.
Roman: They said he could get into people's heads-
Raven: He didn't get in my head.
Roman backs off.
Roman: Alright Raven. What are you planning on doing with that?
He points toward the gasoline in the trunk, the camera cuts to look at Raven from the trunk.
Raven: Something bad.
She closes the trunk and the camera cuts to the Phoenix on the road. (Travis Scott: Antidote)
The camera cuts to a building with red LED lights lining the top. The Phoenix comes into view and parks in the lot. She looks at the club and walks to it.
The camera cuts to Raven walking inside red light washing over her as people dance and make out. She makes her way past a tiger faunus woman dancing in a cage.
The camera cuts to her walking in the back and through a door marker manager. She stands at the desk the manger is sitting at.
Manager: Who the fuck are you.
Raven doesn't answer and reaches into her jacket and puts knuckle dusters on her fist. The manager looks at her in fear.
Manager: Oh shit.
The camera cuts to an alley in the industrial district and the camera pans down it. Raven is taking the gasoline can out of the trunk.
Raven walks towards an old car missing a few wheels, but a muffled bang from inside the trunk tells her the manager finally woke up.
Manager: What the fuck is thi- HEY LET ME OUT!
Raven walks around the side and begins dousing the car with gas.
Raven: I need you to tell me something.
Manager: Couldn't you just fucking ask!?
Raven: It's a bit more complicated than that.
Raven looks at the old cars windows, she picks up a brick and smashes them, she then douses the inside with gas.
Manager: Do you even know who I am!?
Raven walks over to the trunk.
Raven: As far as I'm concerned your some poor piece of shit with something I need.
Manger: *Cough* What the fuck *Cough* what is that smell?
Raven dumps the rest of the gas on the trunk.
Raven: Gasoline.
Manager: *Cough* Fuck *Cough* oh no, no *Cough* What the fuck do you want!?
Raven reaches into her pocket and pulls out a lighter; she plays with it in her hand.
Raven: I need to know when and where Tyrian's shipments are going out.
Manager: Oh goddamnit *Cough* FUCK! Look if I tell you'll let me out, yeah!?
Raven finally gets the lighter to start as she looks at it.
Raven: Yeah.
The screen cuts to Raven backing up the Phoenix from the old car now consumed by an inferno.
The screen cuts to a police cruiser the camera pans forward. The camera cuts to the police radio as it crackles to life.
Dispatch: All available units we have a 10-37 in the area.
A hand grabs the walkie connected to the radio and Harriet Bree talks into it.
Harriet: 10-4 this is officer Bree. I'll take it.
Dispatch: The driver of the vehicle may be the primary suspect of an ongoing homicide investigation. The suspects name is Raven Xiao-Long may be going by her maiden name Branwen. She was last seen driving a 1982 Phoenix.
Harriet: 10-4 dispatch, on route.
Harriet puts the walkie back and drives out of the parking lot. The screen cuts to Raven driving back towards the garage.
A police siren blares behind her and she glances at the rearview mirror and sees a cop car right behind her.
Raven speeds up as the cop chases her. Raven glances to the right and sees an alley where she can deal with the cop; she drifts into the alley and stops a little way down.
The camera cuts to Harriet driving down the alley and stopping. She gets out and aims her gun forward.
Harriet: Raven Xiao-Long, come out slowly with your hands on your head.
The camera cuts to Raven who looks pale. She looks around the container she's behind and sees Harriet going towards the Phoenix.
Raven: Gods dammit.
Harriet:Your under arrest for the murder of Taiyan-
Harriet doesn't finish as Raven turns the corner and shoots Harriet in the stomach and shoulder.
Harriet falls to the ground and clutches her stomach. Raven stares at Harriet.
Raven: I'm sorry.
Raven snaps out of it and gets to the Phoenix. She starts it and drives out of the alley. The camera stays with Harriet as a voice comes from her radio but it's too muffled and the screen fades to black.
A muffled voice pierces the black and becomes more coherent.
Roman: Raven!
Raven jumps as Roman knocks on the window to the Phoenix.
Roman: You okay?
Raven: The shipment goes out tonight.
Raven gets out of the car and begins to walk towards the back.
Roman: Tonight? Are you sure?
Raven: Yeah and I'll need your help.
Roman turns on the spot.
Roman: What!?
Raven goes off-screen as Roman talks to her.
Roman: I'm not cut out for this sort of thing, Raven.
Rave comes back on screen holding a large case and walks toward the Phoenix.
Raven: Roman, I need you for this one.
Roman: What do you need me to do?
Raven leans the case against the Phoenix and opens the trunk.
Raven: I just need you to drive the truck and dump it in the river.
Raven grabs the case and shoves it in the trunk.
Roman: Sounds a bit too easy.
Raven: Well there's bound to be some guy's guarding it. I'll take them out, you drive the truck while I follow you through the city.
Roman: Well I suppose I can do that.
Raven nods and closes the trunk as the camera cuts to a guy looking over a bunch of men and women in their underwear making drugs.
Tyrian walks by but his tail is wrapped around his trench coat and his hood is up.
Tyrian: Vamos, vamos, casi hemos terminado. (Come one, come on, we are almost done.)
Tyrian stands at the end of the table as a goon walks up.
: Hey, Tyrian.
Tyrian: Not now.
Tyrian walks through a door into a caged area holding the packed drugs.
: It's important Jefe.
Tyrian: What is it?
: We haven't heard from the club.
Tyrian turns around.
: The owner hasn't called in or answered to confirm delivery.
Tyrian: He has a club to run, he's just busy.
: I had some guys go to the club he wasn't there. Some people said some woman walked in and dragged him out.
Tyrian looks back towards the people working and can't help but giggle a little.
Tyrian: Oh, pequeño cuervo, ¿es esto lo que planeaste? Continue the shipments, just keep an eye out for Raven Branwen.
Tyrian walks out of the cage as the screen cuts to later that night. Raven crouches down next to several dumpsters with Roman lagging behind her.
Raven pokes her head out and watches as a guard walks past the truck. Another guard is leaning on a black SUV.
Roman: That's a whole helluva lotta guys kid.
Raven kneeled and unholstered his pistol. Roman leaned a little too far and was spotted by a random goon.
: ¡Alguien aquí!
The goon started firing at the two and Raven pulled Roman into the garbage cans, making him lie against it.
Raven: Stay down!
Raven waits for the goon to run out of ammo as he keeps firing like an idiot.
The telltale clicking sounds of ammo running out hits Raven's ears and she capitalizes with a quick headshot.
The other goon shoots at her but Raven ducks down and fires at their chest. She hits dead on and the goon falls. Raven moves to call for Roman but is interrupted when the truck starts up and begins leaving with an SUV following.
Roman: Welp, there goes our truck.
Raven came rushing past Roman towards the Phoenix.
Raven: Get to the car!
Roman moves after Raven as the camera cuts to the Phoenix racing closer to the truck.
The semi truck barreled through the abandoned railway with the SUV right behind, the Phoenix getting closer. The semi turned on the road and the SUV followed.
Roman: Turn!
The Phoenix drifted but scraped a random car's paint as well as its own. Raven grunted but stayed on course.
Roman: Monty, kid your gonna get us killed.
Raven: I got this.
Roman: What's your plan?
Raven: We need to get in front so I can take the driver out.
Raven drifts the Phoenix around a corner to keep on the small convoy of two. Roman, holding on for dear life, gets a glimpse ahead and sees the truck heading towards a narrow pathway.
Roman:That pathways not gonna fit the two of us!
Raven presses further down on the pead and gets next to the SUV, she rams it and takes her pistol out.
Raven: Get down!
Roman ducks down in his seat as Raven shoots at the SUV's driver. She gets a headshot off and the SUV goes out of control and crashes into a rail that flips the car onto it's side.
The Phoenix passes it and the camera cuts to Roman.
Roman: Holy hell that was almost us!
Raven weaves through the path left by the semi. She tears out of the alley and is right back on the truck.
The truck doesn't bother weaving through the cars, just going through them.
Roman: Damn the grill on that thing is no joke.
Raven weaves through the path of destruction and notices they're getting closer to the residential district.
Raven: Ah shit we're going into the residential district.
Roman: What but someone will get killed!
Raven: I don't think they care.
The truck cuts through a mid section and right into an alley between houses.
Raven: Sharp turn, hold on.
Roman holds the seat as Raven turns the Phoenix into the alley, the truck keeps moving forward and swerves as it tries to avoid the houses.
Roman: Watch the houses!
The truck continues bulldozing through several fences and actually takes a chunk out of some guy's house. The Phoenix follows.
The truck turns onto a wider road that, luckily, seems barren.
Raven: This is it.
The Phoenix moves past the rig and drives further down the road. Raven drifts to a stop, jumps out of the car and opens the trunk. The camera cuts to Roman stepping out of the Phoenix. He was obviously nauseous, he stumbled and leaned against the car as Raven walked back into view and Roman's eyes bulged out.
Roman: Holy shit where'd you get that from?
Raven is holding a high powered machine gun in her hands.
Raven: Gift from the Informant.
The camera cuts to the truck barreling towards them as Raven steps in front and aims the MG at the truck. She opens fire.
She walks forward while shooting the windows at the truck, the truck finally begins slowing down and rolls to a stop a few feet from Raven.
Raven: Let's pull him out.
Roman nods and walks up to the driver's side. He climbs up the steps, opens the door and grabs the guy now riddled with a full mag of MG ammo. The goon falls out and lands with a wet thud.
Roman: Alright let's get going before the cops or any other undesirables show up.
Raven: Yeah right behind you.
Raven jogged to the Phoenix as Roman drove past her. The camera cuts to Roman driving the rig in the warehouse district and Raven following.
Raven is nearly run off the road as an SUV comes out of nowhere. She looks at the SUV and drives ahead of the truck. Raven grabs her scroll and quickly puts herself in Roman's comms.
Raven: SUV is on your six.
Roman: Damn these guys don't quit.
Raven: I'll speed ahead and take em out.
Raven puts the pedal to the metal and goes to the end of the pier. She drifts to a stop and grabs the MG she threw in the passenger seat.
Raven stands in front of the front of the Phoenix and fires at the SUV. The SUV's tire is hit and it spins into a roll that sends it into the ocean. Roman is speeding towards the end of the pier.
Raven: Get out of there, Roman!
Roman tries to unhook the seat belt but it jams and he's forced to ride the rig off the pier. Raven watches the rig go off the pier and her face morphs into one of genuine fear.
Raven throws the MG down and strips her jacket and shirt off; she also tosses her shoes as she dives into the water and swims toward the rig.
The screen cuts to the two back in the Phoenix but wet and somewhat missing clothes.
Roman: Monty, that was something.
Raven couldn't help but check over Roman.
Raven: Are you sure you're okay?
Roman: Don't worry kid it'll take more than a swim to kill me.
The camera pans out of the Phoenix and jumps cuts to Roman getting out of the car in the garage.
Roman: Ahh, wet socks…
Raven looks at him as she gets out wearing a very soggy Spruce Willis tank top.
Raven: Now what do we do?
Roman: Now we lay low and wait for Junior to get here in a few days.
Raven: But Tyrian is still out there, there's still another delivery truck.
Roman saunters past Raven towards the stairs.
Roman: We're done kid this was all we we're supposed to do. Besides, Junior wants Tyrian alive.
Roman walks up the stairs.
Roman: Go and relax our work here is done.
Roman walks off and Raven stands there. Roman comes back and looks over the rail.
Roman: Unless you wanna get to working on the car I was supposed to fix.
Raven looks up and nods. Roman smiles and the screen cuts to black with a timestamp: Three days later.
The camera opens and shows Raven walking into a convenience store, she walks to the refrigerated section and opens a fridge with green tea.
She grabs a glass bottle and inspects it. She turns and comes face to face with a man, Raven freezes as she stares.
The man stares back, his silver eyes peering into her soul. She stares at the man even as a sniper round is fired through his head causing him to fall as the store is fired upon by several weapons.
Raven stares at the man now laying on the floor as a muffled voice says something.
Clerk: MA'AM!
Raven looks at the clerk.
Clerk: You're going to have to pay for that.
He gestures to her hand and she looks to see the tea she grabbed was crushed in her hand, she looks back where the man was and he's gone.
Raven: Sorry, I'll clean it up.
The camera hangs on the spot the man had laid and cuts to Raven walking with a bag into her apartment complex.
She walks up the stairs when she hears a crash of wood and muffled shouts. She picks up the pace and gets to her apartment as someone shouts in Vacuoian behind her.
She barely manages to get in the door as a shotgun blast goes off. Raven drops her bag and moves to her kitchen.
She grabs a knife from the rack and moves behind a small support column. Buckshot rips through the locks on the door as two goons bust in.
The two goons sweep the room. The shotgun goon comes closer to the column and almost walks past it as Raven grabs the shotgun and sinks the knife in the goon's throat.
Blood sprays onto Raven as she kicks the goon away and uses the shotgun to fire at the other goon over the kitchen island. The goon goes down but she hears gargling and looks down at the goon with the knife in his throat.
Raven aims the gun and blasts the man's head off. The screen cuts to Roman dropping an engine part to his truck and cursing.
The Phoenix slides to a halt in the garage. Roman looks over the engine he's working on and walks towards Raven.
Roman: Hey kid I was just about to c-
Raven: You need to get out of here, Roman. It's not safe.
Roman: What?
Raven: Some of Tyrian's men came to my apartment.
Roman: Shit, are you ok?
Raven: I'm fine.
Raven walks past him and towards the tool drawers. She opens the top one and pulls out an SMG.
Raven: I'm goin after 'em.
Roman: No, Raven. Junior lands in a couple hours let them deal with this.
Raven walks toward the Phoenix ignoring Roman and puts the SMG in the passenger seat.
Raven: I'm going, Roman.
Roman looks off to the side and then looks back.
Roman: Then I'm coming with you, I just need to grab a gun.
Roman walks off into the shop and Raven stares after him. She turns and gets back in the Phoenix, she backs out of the garage and drives off.
Roman comes back holding a sawed-off shotgun.
Roman: Gods dammit, kid.
Roman looks back at the truck he was fixing as the screen cuts to a warehouse underneath a highway. Several goons are walking around the premises.
Two lights flash on a small hill that leads down to the warehouse. The goons look at the lights and see the Phoenix barrelling straight towards them.
: It's Branwen!
The goons fire at the car as it comes down, one gets a shot off on the tires and the Phoenix turns hard. The Phoenix spins to a roll and rolls down into a goon who was too close.
The goon is crushed as the other goons surround the car.
The camera cuts to the inside of the car and it's empty.
The camera cuts again and this time to Raven. She's wearing her mask and ducked behind some crates her SMG held in her left hand as she holds a detonator.
Raven glimpses out of cover and sees the goons surrounding the car. She presses down on the button and watches as the car explodes.
Several goons are killed immediately by the shrapnel but a few are on the ground writhing in pain.
The camera cuts to a blurry POV and watches as Raven walks up and kills the survivors with a single shot or two. She kicks a guy over and fires into his eye.
The POV panics and tries to crawl away but is stopped by a weight on his back.
The camera cuts to the SMG as Raven fires it into the goon's head. Raven steps off the goon and walks toward the transport truck but stops to look at the Phoenix.
Raven stares at the Phoenix's torched remains, memories bubbling up of a better time and the darkest time of her life.
Raven: Fitting.
Raven turns away and walks into the warehouse. She raises her gun as she approaches the back of the semi truck, but her gun is grabbed by a goon who also grabs at her mask.
He shoves Raven's head against the truck and the mask slightly cracks. She shoves the goon away and shoots them.
Raven walks past the corpse and hears someone clapping, she turns and sees Tyrian looking at her with a grin.
Raven walks closer as Tyrian giggles.
Tyrian: Ahh mi pequeño cuervo, I was wrong about you.
Raven: Stop talking.
Tyrian: Ha! ¡Me hieres! Look at you I made you a monster!
Raven: I'm not a monster.
Tyrian: You're no different than me! SO COME ON KILL ME!
Raven keeps the SMG trained on Tyrian, silent.
Tryrian: He told you not to kill me didn't he?
Raven doesn't answer.
Tyrian: You're just gonna give him the pleasure of killing me?
Raven stays quiet and then she throws the SMG to the side. Tyrian giggles as Raven unclips her mask, letting it fall to the floor.
Tyrian: So you are going to kill me! HAHAHA!
Raven stares at Tyrian and unsheathes Omen. Tyrian puts his tail up.
Tyrian: Let's see which monster wins, shall we?
Raven stays silent.
Tyrian lunges at Raven, she sides steps him but his tail cuts into her jaw. She grabs the appendage and slashes it with Omen.
Tyrian screams as he falls to the concrete. His screams slowly devolve onto laughter as Raven crouches on top of him and raises Oman.
Tyrian: ¡Se necesita un monstruo! (It takes a monster!)
Raven brings Omen down on Tyrians chest. She stabs and stabs and stabs and stabs. Blood begins coating the blade and flies onto her.
She continues stabbing Tyrian and the screen cuts to bloodied hands holding the Nevermore mask.
Raven is bloodied and sitting on a crate staring at the mask, the blood on her hands caking the mask.
An engine fills her ears and she looks up to see a blue charger come down the hill. It comes to a stop near the remains of the Phoenix and Roman steps out.
Roman walks to Raven and sits next to her.
Roman: Junior should be here in a minute.
Roman looks over Raven and notices the lack of wounds despite all the blood.
Roman: Hopefully he'll overlook Tyrians death.
The two sit in silence as Raven stares at the mask and it stares back.
Roman: Are you good?
Raven: Yeah I'm fine.
Roman: What were you doing that night?
Raven looks at him.
Roman: On the train tracks.
Raven looks back towards her mask.
Roman: You can't hide behind that mask forever Raven.
Raven: I was giving up. Thanks Roman for everything.
Roman: Yeah, kid.
Raven: Now what old man?
An SUV drives down the hill.
Roman: Well here's Junior now and to your question it depends on what he has to say about all this.
Raven looks at the car's tinted windows, the camera zooming in on the black until a timestamp pops up.
Five years later.
The screen opens up on Raven talking to Junior with Emerald still staring at her.
Raven: I'll be seeing you Hei.
Junior: You walk out that door Raven, there is no going back.
Raven: I know.
Junior watches as Raven leaves as the Informant walks in the room.
Informant: Shall I put out a contract on her?
Junior: Yes, please do that Miss Malachite.
Melanie nods and walks towards the computer.
Junior: Oh, and set it for as high as you can.
Melanie: I'll set it to ten million and send it to the best in the business.
Junior: I hear Ozpin has been wanting to get out. Maybe we should send him this contract and see what he thinks.
Melanie sits down at the computer and begins setting the contract.
Melanie: I'll send it to him and Ironwood.
Contract
Target: Branwen, Raven
Reward: $10 Million
Send to: Ozpin
Ironwood , James
Melanie presses send and leans back in the chair. The camera cuts to Forever Fall three days later.
(Deep Valley:End of the world)The Dominator sits there as the camera pans up to show a blood trail leading away from a large pool of blood near a support beam for the train.
Roll Credits.
Omakes cuz why not?
The Phoenix slides to a halt in the garage. Roman looks over the engine he's working on and walks towards Raven.
Roman: Hey kid I was just about to c-
Raven: Those bastards finally did it, Roman!
Raven walks past Roman.
Roman: Wha-
Raven: They finally made me snap! They did something no self respecting criminal should ever do!
Raven digs in a locker and pulls out a bandolier.
Roman: What'd they do kid?
Raven looks directly at Roman.
Raven: They destroyed my tea.
Roman stares at Raven as she grabs more grenades.
Roman: Give me the grenade launcher.
Raven hands it to him.

Tyrian: He told you not to kill me didn't he?
Raven doesn't answer.
Tyrian: You're just gonna give him the pleasure of killing me?
Raven: Yes.
The screen cuts to Junior hanging Tyrian by his tail.
Roman: You made the right call, kid.
Raven: I know.
Thanks for reading.
