[Outside the Entrance to UA]
"Hello students of UA! We are with The Hero Weekly and we'd like to know what it's like to be taught by the number one hero!" exclaimed an overly energetic female reporter in a black suit. The reporters swarmed the entrance of UA to ask students this question. They got a variety of responses although some were not as great as others. Amongst the crowd was a blue haired man with a creepy appearance, who seemed to go unnoticed.
"Ummm…he's more muscley in person?" answered Ochako, smiling while rubbing her neck as she wasn't prepared for the questioning.
"He's so manly!" replied Kirishima overdramatically as tears rolled down his face, the reporter just stared at the boy as she slowly questioned her life decisions.
"I really enjoyed his class for the most part excluding an incident, shroom" said Komori, smiling.
"Fuck off!" yelled Bakugo walking away. The reporter's smile cracked a bit at his rudeness.
"All Might is nice and all, but my babies are way cooler" shrugged Mei then she whispered to Izuku to say something as well.
"What do you have to say young man?" asked the woman, desperately eager for a real scoop. Izuku thought for a second about what Jotaro would do in his predicament, after afew seconds he took a deep breath then spoke.
"Good grief, All Might is a good teacher alright? Now, leave us alone please. We all have classes to attend" answered Izuku, faking a pissed off expression as he imitated his uncle. The reporter backed up slightly, actually intimidated by his farce for some reason as Mei began laughing hysterically.
"U-U-Um, well yes. W-We apologize for keeping you from your classes…" said the woman walking away with her crew. A blue haired man stood far away amongst a nearby crowd glaring at the UA entrance. His opportunity to crush the gate would soon arrive as he'd evoke fear into the hearts of these targets before the big plan commences…
[Classroom of 1-A]
"Good work with yesterday's battle training everyone. I've looked over your grades and evaluations" said Aizawa, slamming a paper on his desk. He took a deep breath and signed as he saw Komori and Izuku wince, while Bakugo tensed up.
"Bakugo, grow up already. The fact you lost to Midoriya just means you've gotta improve, so stop taking out your inferiority complex out on him" said Aizawa, meanwhile Bakugo looked elsewhere.
"As for you two. Komori, good job on your fight. As a team, you two worked well and successfully executed your plan, however Izuku, you need to learn self-restraint. You severely hurt Bakugo, who had already had major injuries prior to your second assault. Don't let your anger control you, you control it. If I haven't said it already, Midoriya, you have potential, good job" said Aizawa with a sigh. Izuku's shoulders relaxed, as he understood his teacher's words, while Komori gave the green haired boy a thumbs up.
"Now onto business, sorry for the sudden announcement, but today…" Aizawa breathed in, making the students worry it was a pop quiz or something.
"You'll be picking a class president" said Aizawa, finishing his sentence. The class erupted in shock at the fact they were doing something so normal.
"Oh oh, pick me!" yelled Mina, then everyone in class started pitching their reasons for being the best choice while a few others remained quiet.
"Leading the class is a heavy responsibility, but ambition doesn't equate to ability. I suggest we elect our president by election!" shouted Iida, taking the election far too seriously.
'This isn't congress' thought half the class.
"But Iida, we haven't even known each other enough to build that level of trust" said Tsuyu, bringing up a good point. Afew people nod at her statement.
"Yeah, plus can't people just vote for themselves?" asked Kirishima.
"That's precisely why anyone who gets multiple votes, will be best suited to lead us" said Iida.
"However you plan to do it, just hurry up" said the teacher impatiently. After everyone's votes were counted, they were written on the board.
"HOW DID I GET 5 VOTES! I don't even know what to say? Thanks guys" said a shocked Izuku. He honestly didn't want the position but if he had to he had no problems being president.
"I voted for you, because honestly I thought you were the best choice shroom" said Komori, tapping his shoulder shyly. Izuku was glad someone was confident in his leadership skills although he wasn't quite sure himself.
"Who the heck voted for Deku, damn it?" asked Bakugo, perplexed. Ochako looked to the side whistling nervously.
"Guess we know who didn't!" said Sero, chuckling while Bakugo started fuming.
"Okay so your president is Midoriya and your vice president is Yaoyorozu" said Aizawa, tired of the topic already. Izuku stood stiffly in front of the class while Momo bowed, then they took their seats.
[Cafeteria, Lunch Break]
Izuku got a bowl of katsudon from lunch rush that wasn't as good as his mothers cooking but was good enough. He took a seat at a table next to Iida, Ochako, and Komori. The three were enjoying their lunches as they chatted about various topics.
"I'm honestly worried I was picked wrongly as class president. I mean, am I really gonna be a good leader?" asked Izuku. Iida put his hand on his shoulder, looking him directly in the eye.
"Midoriya, you've got grit, and decisiveness in a pinch. I believe that besides myself, you'll be just fine as class president. Otherwise, I wouldn't have voted for you" said Iida, matter of factly. Izuku smiled at his friend's kind words of reassurance.
"But Iida didn't you wanna be president? You've even got the glasses and formalness down pat" said Ochako, bluntly. Izuku was now noticing she just says whatever comes into her head.
"Again Uraraka, ambition and suitability are two completely different things. I humbly made the choice I felt was correct" said Ida sipping some orange juice. Izuku learned while they were talking once that the drink actually is the fuel for his engines while soda slows it down.
"You know Iida, you really do talk like a rich kid" said Ochako. Izuku frowned, she really needed to learn how to be tactful.
"Uraraka-san, aren't you being a little presumptuous?" asked Komori, nervously.
"No no, Uraraka is correct. I do in fact come from a rather well off family. You see, I come from a family of pro heroes, and I am the second son" said Iida proudly. The other three eyes sparkled at the fact, with Izuku putting two and two together.
"Wait! Are you related to the pro-hero Ingenium by any chance ?!" asked Izuku.
"Yes! He's actually my older brother" said Iida, grinning proudly.
"That's so cool! I heard he has over 65 sidekicks in his office located in Tokyo" said Izuku, smiling. Iida nodded.
"You are well informed. Yes, he is actually my main inspiration for becoming a hero. He leads people with his unwavering care for proper law. Though I realize I'm not yet ready to lead anyone. As the superior candidate, it was right for you to get the role Midoriya" said Iida happily.
"Never seen you smile so much before Iida" said Ochako, smiling.
"Yeah you have a great smile Iida-kun" said Kinoko grinning. Izuku was glad to be surrounded by actual friends unlike Aldera.
"Is that so? I guess I'll try to smile more" said Iida, rubbing his neck in embarrassment.
{LEVEL 3 SECURITY HAS BEEN BROKEN. All students please evacuate in an orderly fashion} said a robotic voice through the intercom.
"What does level 3 security mean?" asked Iida, a third year running out of the cafeteria.
"It means someone broke in!" yelled the student running into the crowded exit.
As they made their way towards the exit, Izuku was pushed into a window along with Iida, separating them from Ochako and Kinoko. He looked out the window to see the crisis was just caused by reporters?
'Did they break in just for All Might? No, that'd be too stupid. A villain maybe, that's more likely than a bunch of reporters breaking through the defenses of UA' thought Izuku.
Izuku decided to look for his friends who were lost in the crowd. He spotted Ochako being shoved in between two students, so he used his stand to make a path through the crowd of students to get to her. When he reached her, he tapped her on the shoulder, startling the girl as she jumped back a little.
"O-Oh it's just you Deku-kun" said Ochako.
"Yeah, hey I have some news. The break-in was just caused by some reporters, but I need to tell everyone that before someone gets hurt in this stampede. Can you make me weightless so I can get up there?" asked Izuku pointing at the exit sign. She nodded as she tapped his shoulder, turning him weightless.
Izuku jumped towards the exit sign but nearly missed due to miscalculating distance. Luckily, he used his stand to carry him in the air straight. Once he landed on the sign, he took a deep breath before shouting as loudly as he could.
"EVERYONE, SHUT THE HELL UP! There's no real intruders, it's just the press!" yelled the green haired boy, getting everyone to listen to what he was saying. Alot of the students didn't like the way he told them the information, but it couldn't be helped seeing as they wouldn't listen any other way. After awhile things calmed down in the cafeteria and Izuku jumped down from the sign, rubbing his throat as he wasn't used to shouting so loudly.
Komori, Iida, and Ochako ran up to him, congratulating him on resolving the issue. Izuku nodded as he turned to look at the school's gate. He needed to see exactly what the gate looked like to get to the bottom of whether it was an attack or not…
[Near the Gate]
Upon reaching the gate he saw that the principal and a few other teachers were already inspecting it. With a slightly better view now, the gate looked like it'd been turned to dust, definitely proof it was an attack of some kind. The answer he couldn't figure out was why.
'Maybe this was a distraction for someone to invade the building? I should tell them!' thought Izuku was rushing towards the teachers. He got chewed out for not being in the building, but they didn't appreciate his insight. They thanked him before sending him to his classes as they proceeded to search the entire school. Izuku just hoped he helped prevent something bad from happening.
[Class 1-A, 12:50 pm]
"Now for today's basic hero training. This time All Might and Myself and another teacher will be supervising you all" said Aizawa, yawning.
'This time huh? Must be a special class this time around' thought Izuku, with a blank expression.
"Um teach, what we are doing exactly?" asked Sero loudly.
"Prepare yourselves for fires, disasters, and floods because today well be doing Rescue Training!" said Aizawa with fake enthusiasm as he held up a card with the word 'Rescue' in the middle.
"Rescue work, ribbit? That's my best element, lucky me" said Tsuyu excitedly.
"Rescue training huh, sounds like a rough day" said Kaminari and Mina nodded in agreement.
"I wasn't finished. It's also up to you whether you wear your hero costumes or not. Some of your costumes are ill-suited for this sort of activity. The training site is remote, so we'll be going by bus. That's all, get ready" said the tired hero. He pressed a button on a remote revealing their costume cases from the wall.
'Rescue training! This is the type of hero work I hope to specialize in so I better take this seriously if I wanna become the best rescue hero' thought Izuku as clenching his fist.
[Outside]
Izuku walked towards the bus with Iida, Ochako, and Komori with him. Komori decided to wear a gym uniform instead of her costume for the training exercise.
"So I'm assuming your costume is still being repaired?" asked Izuku.
"Yeah, it had so many tears in it from the fireball," chuckled Kinoko. Bakugo twitched ever so slightly at the mention of the incident.
"Line up everyone, Iida recommended we line up by our ID numbers. So that's what we'll be doing" shouted Izuku as he tried to get everyone's attention.
'Of course Iida suggested this' thought everyone as they groaned.
[On the bus]
Izuku sat next to Tsuyu and Sato. He noticed Tsuyu staring at him with a finger to her chin, he was confused as he tried to figure out what she was thinking.
"You know, Midoriya, I genuinely tend to just say what's on my mind," said Tsuyu with a blank expression, finger still at her chin. Izuku slowly nodded, trying to see where the frog teen was going with this.
"Um ok, well what do you need Asui-san?" asked Izuku.
"Call me Tsuyu" said Tsuyu eagerly, to which Izuku just nodded.
"So, how did you do what you did to Bakugo, if you don't have a quirk? It's been really bugging me" said Tsuyu. Now everyone on the bus was staring at him, including even Aizawa, who was previously sleeping.
"…." Izuku just stared at her for 3 minutes silently. What no one could know was in his head, he was having a breakdown.
'CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP! Why did she ask me that now?! I thought they forgot about that! What do I even say to that? I could say I don't remember anything besides being angry, what do I do…' thought Izuku panicking, while on the outside, he was just still staring at Tsuyu with a blank expression.
"So, you don't know either huh? Guess it was because you really love Komori, huh?" asked Tsuyu teasingly, as she turned away, putting an end to their staring contest. Izuku nodded in response until he realized what she just said, his face turned bright red as he looked around the bus.
Everyone who just saw him nod immediately gasped because he had always denied the two were dating or him liking her like that. Izuku and Kinoko both were beet red, the latter hiding her face with her hair. She stared at Izuku with a look that said 'is that true?', which only made him more flustered.
"WHAT?! Nonono, you've got it all wrong! We aren't dating a-and I-I was just really angry and forgot to hold back" said Izuku in a panic. This only made his situation worse, as everyone was now puzzled.
"Did you say hold back? You're quirkless, what would you be holding back exactly" said Todoroki coldly, in the rare instance he joined the class discussion.
"Yeah Midori, you got a quirk afterall or were you just going easy on us? I mean not like there's an alternative to quirks right?" asked Mina jokingly, not realizing how wrong she was. Mentally Izuku was panicking, as he had to end this conversation or change topics quickly.
"Well I was holding back my secret weapon," said Izuku mysteriously. This was both a half lie, and truth, since his stand was his secret weapon but he could also make up one of Mei's numerous inventions.
{Well tell us what it is?!} shouted everyone eagerly, heck even Bakugo was intrigued. Izuku shook his hand, wagging his finger.
"Tsktsk, why would I tell you what my secret weapon was? I'll tell you that it's a technique passed down from generations in my family…" said Izuku tilting his head slightly, smirking to add a bit of flair to his lie. Before the questions could keep coming, they arrived at the training site.
[USJ Facility]
"Look sharp, we're here" said Aizawa, now getting off the bus. Once the students were out they saw the huge facility, and gasped.
{IS THIS UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN?!} asked a majority of the class excitedly.
"No, I made this place myself. I call it the Unforeseen Simulation Joint" said a hero in a space suit looking costume.
"Woah, you're the space heroine, Thirteen!" yelled Izuku giddily. Ochako also was having her own nerd moment.
"Oh my god! I love you so much, Thirteen! You're a big inspiration to me as to why I want to become a rescue hero! Her work as a rescue hero is so inspiring!" yelled Ochako, her green haired classmate's enthusiasm. Aizawa walks up to Thirteen and asks her a question, Izuku sees her hold up 3 fingers. He wonders what they are talking about. Thirteen returns back her lecture about the dangers of quirks.
"Now my quirk [Black Hole], allows me to suck in and tear anything apart. While I've used it to save lots of people and help out in rescue missions, if I wasn't careful, I could easily have killed someone" said the pro sternly. A lot of students shivered, but she continued regardless.
"I have no doubt that some of you have similarly dangerous quirks. In our superpowered society, the use of quirks is heavily monitored and restricted. While it seems like our system is a stable one, we can't forget that it only takes one wrong move with an uncontrollable quirk for people to die" said Thirteen seriously.
"This class will show you a new perspective! You will learn to use your quirk to save lives. Your powers aren't meant to harm, I hope you leave here today with the understanding that you're meant to help people" said the space heroine enthusiastically.
The classes congratulated her for the speech and started clapping. She bowed while Aizawa looked off to the fountain, he squinted thinking his eyes were playing tricks on him. Everyone felt a menacing presence surrounding the building and turned around to the fountain and saw a bizarre sight that sent chills down their spines.
A man wearing a severed hand with deathly, red eyes and blue hair, glaring at them while climbing out of a misty purple portal. Aizawa got in a fighting stance and yelled for everyone to look alert. As an army of criminals came out of the portal, he said the words that no one ever wanted to hear, while putting on his golden goggles.
"Don't Move. Those are real…villains!" He shouted as he started running toward the stairs.
"Damn it, he's not here! Oh well it's not game over yet, maybe if I kill these kids, the final boss will show up!" yelled the blue haired villain with a maniacal grin.
