To her shock, Mary Schmidt walks into the building and finds it empty, with no customers or hostesses inside. The power was out, and the animatronic girls weren't active. Mary's heart already sank when he walked in, and she had no clue why this had to happen. The restaurant was already closed early in the day, and being new at having a job, she didn't know whether she'd get a day off, and she was terrified of having to face the unknown of what her night had to offer.

Suddenly, she sees a red light blinking on and off at the Office as the power turns on. Mary would walk to the Office to see another tape recorder having a blinking red light. Remembering what the guy in the tape recording said about Charles Afton being the suspect in his family's murders, she took the tape recorder from the desk and hit the play button to hear what the message had in store. After a few moments of nothing but static, the message would start playing.

"Well, looks like you now know, huh? Well, guess what? The ashes of the Afton Family are vast quantities of evidence, but it's still not enough to convict him. You're probably wondering whether you could use video evidence to get Charles Afton himself get convicted. And you're right! But the question is, where will you find that second form of evidence? Well, my conspicuous nightguard, I will grab that for you. But doing so is a one-time deed, so don't waste the opportunity to expose Charles." The guy in the tape recorder spoke to Mary.

Suddenly, Mary heard a loud bang on the tape recorder.

"Oh shit... OK, I will not take too much of your time on this one. Listen, if you haven't noticed already, Charles Afton made a slippery mistake in showing up at the original location of Fredbearina's Cabaret, which is your workplace. Not only that, but if he did show up the way he did, he wouldn't be able to hide his stress over someone going inside the furnace. Thankfully, he doesn't know it's you, Ernie Fitzgerald, or anyone else." The guy in the tape recorder told Mary.

A second long bang scared Mary.

"Listen, all I will say to you is expose that piece of shit for everything Charles had done... This opportunity is a one-time deal, so be quick when you're night is over. I'll see you then, Mary..." The guy in the tape recorder finishes his message before a third loud bang occurs.

Mary took what little moments she had left to process what she'd just heard from the guy in the tape recorder.

"Alright, good. I don't know how I'll find video evidence to convict Charles Afton. But if I had to guess, the video evidence might also be in the furnace room. I hope I don't forget about it with all this chaos going on..." Mary Schmidt nodded her head before sitting on the chair.

She lets herself fall asleep as the clock hits 11:00 AM...
