Hey guys again! Stella Zhau here. Sorry it took so long, but while looking back through the journal, I noticed something rather bizarre. Well, Liam did, but as he put it, "that story shook me down to my britches!" I think that means he wants me to take credit over this one.

You see, we were trying to get anything on Steve. Anything at all. But we drew endless blanks, and holy heck, was that annoying! He has little social media stuff, barely any pictures online, and while Zack got info on his highschool, all we know is that he attended senior year in 2014. All his pictures were scrubbed somehow. Did he do that, or did someone decide to screw with him.

And if that last part is truly the case, then why? He doesn't seem to be that remarkable, no offense. He's a baker, and kinda paranoid at that. I'm trying to figure it out, but really I got nothing.

Though... I guess what Liam found might be that thing we need. It's a stretch, but somehow it just sounds right. Remember that newspaper clipping we had? Well, this one might now be even more related to this case, and that's saying something! Just, you know, take a look below. I don't have a journal entry today because I'm still trying to find that missing page. Who was talking to him, or using his journal? I hope to find out!

NAME: Project Hero TEST: 1961 - 1994 RESU: Failure

Project Hero was an attempt by the US Government to find a link between our world, and those that are found within the common household TV. The project was headed by [REDACTED] after a conference meeting lasting 10 hours. Though at first viewed as a joke, with the rise of the superpowers around the globe, it was deemed necessary to take every risk possible to secure US dominance.

Funding began in 1961, where our boys at [REDACTED] began researching a bizarre form of architecture that has rarely resurfaced. What that "architecture" is cannot be revealed due to security reasons. It took only three years before the first test was done. The project was simple: place the "architecture" onto an antennae attached to a TV set, and as a channel is turned on, wait for it to glow.

If successful, whatever is happening on screen... will start to communicate.

The first three tests were failures, but the fourth worked perfectly. There was a man on the other side. His name is allowed to be revealed due to being labeled "unhuman." His name is, or was, depending on his age, Albert Loud. A young rookie at the time, preparing to fight in his world's equivalent of Vietnam, a growing concern at the time even here in the states.

This was a successful communication, but demonstrated a flaw. You see, the main point of the project was to reach all those fanciful worlds people were creating. Think about it; a person made a cartoon about a superhero with awesome abilities. If we can contact them, we can either learn their ways, or bring them here as an ultimate superweapon.

However, this didn't work. We couldn't make contact with actual creations. Instead, the "architecture" brought us to an unknown location. Albert called it "Royal Woods."

He was interested in our ideals, and decided to help out. To what extent did he help was never disclosed.

Communication grew as the years went on. Albert introduced the team to so many, including his own children at points. There were two individuals he loved the most; one being a son, the other being his wife. Lynn and Rita Loud. Young bucks they were, but what was strange was that when we first met them, they weren't married, or heck, barely knew one another. One shift in a channel though allowed us to see into the future of their lives. This was a major moment for the project.

In 1980, TV's were practically synonymous with American life, so it was determined to expand the project out. A random raffle of 1,000 families spread about the country were chosen, with the lucky ones getting a specially-made device, complete with their own "architecture." They will not be told why; all that was given was an order to write down anything strange happening within the shows they watched.

Things were progressing smoothly, until 1990 rolled around. As the Cold War ended, mysterious cases propped up involving the families that won the raffle. Disappearances and apparent "Suicides" were occurring on a frequent basis, and though the suits were able to cover it all up, too many issues were growing.

In 1993, the last year we got in touch with Albert, the President at the time ordered us to shutter the project. The war was over, meaning any further research went unused, and the incidents were becoming too much to sustain. In 1994, the project ended, dubbed a failure to bring forth any necessary change for the United States, as well as causing untold amounts of damage to many lives.

We were tasked with tracking the devices, but this was impossible. The TV's were supposed to be unsellable, but in the end a few managed to slip through our fingers. Most were recovered, but others remain hidden amongst the populace. By now they should be useless, as the switch from analog to digital would make them obsolete, but we cannot confirm if this is true.

A few more cases have sprung up since the project's closure, but luckily they are now few-and-far-between. No one can tie it to the government any longer, giving us some space to work with.

But the mystery that still remains, however, is how and why did those people die or disappear? Nothing on the other side was described as malevolent. To be frank, they were viewed as too kind to aid in warfare. No reports of anything dangerous was ever brought up.

This case is still open and ongoing, though remains elusive and silent to even the most ardent of agents within the government.

Yeah, that was weird, huh? Liam didn't say how he got that. He just kinda stumbled upon it. I think it's honestly just a crackpot hoping to make more conspiracies, but I don't know. It got me a little worried.

Why did someone reach our world? And why did they talk with Lincoln's grandfather? Man, this whole thing is just so weird!
