Rider Time Zi-O: Roze from Remnant
Chapter 64 – 2001: Agito Awakening
It was dark in the shop of 9-5-DO, a single spotlight shining on the picture of Sougo's graduation as Woz came into view and spread his arm towards it.
"As it is written here… Rejoice, a graduation!" Woz gave a smile, "Tokiwa Sougo has successfully completed high school. He is now resolute on his path to becoming the overlord of time, Oma Zi-O. He has recently gained the power of Zi-O Trinity, a fearsome power that has given us a great advantage. But as we begin our plan on how to tackle Remnant the Time Jackers will not be so kind to allow us that time, as a life changing Another Rider plot is brewing."
"Woz? What are you doing?"
Woz could only sigh as the lights turned on fully before heading out of the dining room.
Earth – Mid April 2019
At a place known as the Airstream Cafe, an up and coming band was in the middle of a song on the venue's stage. Or they would be if they weren't frozen in time alongside all the customers and staff. The Time Jackers had taken up residence in the restaurant for their latest meeting, well all except for Swartz. While Ora and Finis were content to sit at the tables, Uhr was moving around. He even walked up on stage before taking one of the drummer's sticks and slamming it on the cymbal, walking off with it.
"What in the world is Swartz thinking?" Uhr asked.
"You said it… I have no idea what he's up to, lately," Ora replied.
"Were you all not amused by Another Blade?" Finis asked.
"I mean I don't get it," Uhr replied, "He goes silent for nearly a month and figures causing the end of the world is a good enough plot?"
"Yeah, I don't buy it," Ora scoffed.
"We were rid of that annoyance Shiro-Woz though," Finis pointed out, "So I'll give him credit on that."
"Like that gets us anywhere," Uhr replied.
"I could care less about any complaints you have," Swartz said as he was suddenly sitting in one of the booths, his back facing his fellow Time Jackers.
"Swartz…" Ora hissed out as she jolted and turned to see their leader.
"I'm really not in the mood to see your face," Uhr remarked.
"Said complaints come from a reasonable place however," Finis added, "The fact is that your entire plot caused Zi-O to attain a new form alongside the Blade Ridewatch."
"It's clear that the further we go the further Sougo Tokiwa will get closer to becoming Oma Zi-O," Swartz said as he began to grab sugar cubes between his fingers. Slowly but surely he dumped the cubes into the coffee in front of him, "If he gathers any more Watches…" he trailed as the liquid in the cup began to rise higher and higher the more sugar was placed until it began to spill over, "…It will be too late to stop him."
"Well… that doesn't sound good," Ora admitted.
"I already have a plan in mind," Swartz continued as he stood up, "But first I need to visit the right candidate."
"Need any help?" Finis asked.
"Allow me to have some fun for a bit," Swartz grinned as he began to walk towards the entrance before vanishing.
"You've been having fun since January…" Ora muttered as she went back to her own business.
Swartz's destination was a short but meaningful one as he had made it to a ghost town of an apartment complex. From what he had heard, only one person actually lived there. In fact there was no land lord as one person owned the entire place. He walked up the steps before making his way to a door that held a 'Keep Out' sign on it. Walking forward he gave a few knocks only for some shuffling to occur on the other side. But other than that there was no answer.
"I won't take no for an answer," Swartz said before kicking forward, busting the door down and walking inside. It was a dark room that was pretty messy and stripped bare, even the original walls that divided it up were gone except for the ones that cut off the bathroom.
On the bed was a lump of sheets piled on top of someone, the sheets moving as various empty cans littered about began to shake before launching themselves out at Swartz.
Of course the cans were frozen in mid-air, Swartz giving a bored look as he swiped his hand as he deflected them down towards the ground.
The one underneath the sheets was surprised by this, "H-How…?"
"You have great power but I have even greater," Swartz spoke up, "I know about you… Maguchi, was it? In fact I looked you up as extensively as I could. A child prodigy thanks to extraordinary psychic abilities, so much so that you ended up running through schooling in a heartbeat. You had attempted to use this to gain fortune on various game shows and while you did win, people envied you and dragged your name through the mud. No one believed you had these incredible powers and thought you rigged it, and so you were shunned from the public."
"What's your point…?" The one under the covers remarked before removing them, revealing an ordinary man who didn't seem to care about his appearance, his clothes being fairly disheveled and his hair being messy.
"I can give you the power you desire to show everyone how wrong they were," Swartz gave a smile as he held out a Blank Ridewatch, "But you need to follow my orders."
"I'm not petty enough for revenge," Maguchi said before giving a twisted grin, his waist began to form a small white orb as it began to pulsate, "But I do want to show people how inferior they are to me."
Reacting to the glow, the Blank Watch had turned into an Anotherwatch. Swartz gave a smile as he walked over and activated it before shoving it into Maguchi.
Maguchi held his stomach as he gave a groan, soon giving a yell as he stood up on his bed. Soon enough wisps of dark energy surrounded him before his Another Rider form took shape.
[AGITO!]
Swartz gave a smirk as he knew this would happen, the Another Rider transformation acting based on Maguchi's powers. They were powers that he knew he could abuse, the Power of Agito. Thus his form was that of one who already bore one of the titles, before him was a modified version of the actual existing Rider, Another Agito.
Maguchi gave a groan as his transformation into Another Agito had caused the bed to snap, breaking from the middle as he hopped off. His right breast held the year, 2001, while his left breast held the name, AgitΩ.
"I knew that you had the potential," Swartz gave a smirk, "Now let me show you to your first targets."
A siren rang in a police training room as a drill was about to begin. Various soldiers in blue jumpsuits and black helmets all rushed around. Two individual soldiers stood still as they began to be dressed in blue and silver accented armor by their colleagues. Soon enough when fully armored they were recognizable as Kamen Riders, their appearance seeming to take after Kuuga's. Around them were various rectangular metal boxes with holes at the top.
Watching in a control room form above were four individuals, two officers who seemed to be observing with a scientist and officer sitting at a control panel. Lining the training room were also various cameras as the footage was planned to be sent to the News for documentation.
"Initiating G3 System," The officer at the controls spoke up, the Riders dubbed G3 had their helmets beep as a computerized HUD appeared in their helmets. The officer then looked back at his superior's.
"Whenever you're ready Omuro," One officer spoke up.
Omuro gave a nod before turning back to the training room, "G3 Maneuvers, Start."
It wasn't long before the machine in front of the G3's began to spit out metal balls from the opening. The G3's were quick on the draw however, one drawing out their issued firearm and firing at the first target to launch out. Both took turns as they destroyed the metal balls, sparks flying as the pieces fell to the ground. It wasn't long till the machines on the sides began to launch out targets as well. Both G3's worked in tandem to cover each other's back, firing their guns and destroying the targets with ease.
"I can't believe those G3 units are still operational…" One of the overseeing officers remarked, "Those things are over a decade old, aren't they?"
"You say that but trying to go for more advanced technology resulted in us losing access to it," The other overseer remarked, "But… there isn't a newer model?"
"The G3-X is the furthest the system has ever gotten," Omuro explained, "However we figured Base G3 would be enough. While we are looking into developing G3-X for mass production, our priority is that we have enough to distribute across the country. While not the latest, it still stands the test of time, perfect for mass-production costs."
A loud bang began to occur before another alarm began to blare and flash. The door to the training room was suddenly busted open. The various training soldiers gave yells as they were flung away by explosive force.
"What is that?!" One of the lead officers asked.
Out of the smoke of the doorway a figure lurked, coming clear and showing that it was Another Agito. The Another Rider began to look around before spotting his target, the two G3's.
"Stupid humans, trying to ascend to my level…" Another Agito hissed out as he charged forward, tanking through the standard rounds of the soldiers. He rushed straight towards the G3's. He grabbed both, tossing one into the machinery before lifting the other up.
"T-That thing…" Omuro gave a light gasp as he managed to just barely catch its features and already had an idea of what it was.
Another Agito meanwhile tossed the G3 he was lifting up into a wall, rushing after him and grabbing the leg. He then gave a yell and tossed the G3 over towards the viewing room where Omuro and the others were.
The G3 gave a yell as he slammed into the glass, cracking it but not breaking it. Despite this the throw was just hard enough to embed him in it.
Woz walked into the front shop area of 9-5-DO. Waiting for him were his usual roommates of Sougo, Geiz and Tsukuyomi. Of course along with them were Team RWBY and Oscar, the grouping deciding to plan their next move while Junichiro was out. Ruby was currently sitting at the front table with Geiz and Sougo, everyone else standing around or leaning on the displays.
"What were you even doing back there?" Weiss asked.
"Celebrating," Woz answered simply, to which everyone promptly just accepted that reason given Woz's demeanor.
"So what exactly is the plan here?" Geiz asked, "We've had a while to think on our next move."
"Well given the Time Mazine's we can easily come back the day we leave," Ruby said as she clasped her hands, "So that's that part taken care of. We just need to make sure the Time Jackers don't know about this."
"Have you all had any luck on trying to contact Ozpin?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"Unfortunately no," Oscar sighed, "He's being stubborn and blocking himself off from me, even if he's helped a few times in terms of giving me advice."
"Sounds annoying," Geiz remarked.
"I don't blame him for hiding," Ruby replied, "He probably has a lot to think about given our reactions to it."
"We'll just have to come up with our own plan then," Blake replied.
"So first up is the Relic then, right?" Sougo asked, "Wouldn't it be safer here on Earth?"
"There are definitely several allies of ours that could easily hold it," Woz agreed, "We could-"
"I'm back!" Junichiro suddenly interrupted as he walked in from the entrance holding a toolbox and work bag. He looked around in surprise, "Oh, were you all watching?"
"Watching…?" Blake asked.
"It sounds like something bad is going on!" Junichiro admitted as he set down his toolbox and hurried over to the dining room where the monitor was. He quickly went over and turned on the television showing a news report that was quick to deliver the footage they were receiving.
'We repeat, the Metro PD's G3 Unit has been attacked by a mysterious creature. This is footage from the G3 Test Facility from earlier today. Here we appear to see two G3 test units fighting along with officers. While incomplete, this footage gives us a glimpse into the attack.'
As the news report was going on, everyone had managed to pile into the dining room to get a glimpse of what was going on. The footage showing the attack that Another Agito had done on the G3 Unit.
"That's…" Tsukuyomi's eyes widened.
"Another Rider," Sougo said.
Junichiro was confused by his son and his friends sounding so sure of what was going on, "What? Who…?"
"Uh…" Oscar was unsure what to say.
"I swear…" Woz gave a sigh as he went to walk back into the front of the store.
"Oh you know I just realized, we have an errand to run!" Ruby called out.
"We'll help!" Sougo added quickly, "It's a big one right?!"
"Y-Yeah, we could use all the help we can actually!" Ruby agreed.
Junichiro was unable to get a word in as everyone had fully rushed out of 9-5-DO like a pack of wild animals.
Earth – France, Mid April 2019
At a restaurant in France, there was a head chef who was currently taking a short break. Thankfully it was a slow hour, and he had heard some buzzing in his pocket, deciding to take a peak and see who exactly was calling or texting him. He was surprised to see a text from an old friend in Japan.
'Sorry for distracting you from work. I've read on the news the G3 Unit got attacked by a monster today. Here's the link:'
The man clicked on the link before his eyes widened. He quickly went about texting a few overseas friends to get him a quick flight to Japan as he worked on dressing into more casual gear of a long sleeved blue shirt, orange puffy jacket and khaki pants. Once he was fully dressed he made sure he had everything before heading off.
"Shoichi, what's wrong?" The owner asked as the man passed by.
"I have to head back to Japan, an old friend of mine is in big trouble," The man, Shoichi, replied.
After getting things sorted out as quickly as they could, Shoichi soon left and made his way to his residence to pack up as quickly as possible. Once that was done he got a text of the airport he was supposed to meet at. He could only hope he'd make it in time to help deal with the situation.
Earth – Tokyo, Mid April 2019
At a Ramen stand an officer was currently having an early lunch, giving a smile as he blew on the hot broth gently before taking a slurp of some noodles.
"Well now, Officer Hikawa, I figured you'd be here," what looked to be another officer walked over, wearing a black suit with a white shirt underneath and a loose red tie.
The officer, Hikawa, turned with a look of surprise as he finished swallowing his food, "Officer Tomari? What are you doing here?"
"Please just call me Shinnosuke," Shinnosuke gave a smile, "I wanted to talk to you."
"Take a seat then," Hikawa gestured to the empty seat next to him.
Shinnosuke gave a nod and sat down before placing an order. He then looked over at his co-worker, "So I heard the G3's might be coming our way soon."
"Really…?" Hikawa asked in surprise, "I'm sure Ozawa would love to hear that since Omuro's been pretty busy. I had heard he's tried to get the G3's as the recommended mass production type for Officers. Good to hear he made a breakthrough."
"I know it was probably rough back when I was active," Shinnosuke mused as he waited for his order, "Given everything going on they turned him down to try and focus on the Mass Produced Mach model."
"But that didn't end up working out fast enough," Hikawa replied before slurping some of his noodles, he gave a satisfied sigh before giving a small smile towards Shinnosuke, "After all you finished your fight pretty handily."
"Yep, and then all that technology was locked away…" Shinnosuke trailed wistfully.
"But still if they don't have any snags the G3's should be useful support given all the strange happenings," Hikawa mentioned.
"You should talk to Goto, he seems to be in the know about it," Shinnosuke replied.
"Not like we can do much since we're retired from those jobs," Hikawa added.
"Well there's also another reason I wanted to reach out to you," Shinnosuke admitted with a nervous chuckle before taking out his phone, showing the recent report of the G3 Unit under attack.
"Wait, that's…" Hikawa trailed as he saw Another Agito, "But that can't…"
"I figured I'd let you know," Shinnosuke said, "Since you are friends with the lead on the G3 Project."
"Thank you," Hikawa nodded, "I'll try and visit him when I get the chance."
"In the meantime," Shinnosuke clasped his hands and gave thanks right as his order was served to him, soon going to dig in on his Ramen alongside Hikawa.
Both Ruby and Sougo led their group through the streets, a bit glad that they were able to make it out of 9-5-DO without any questions being asked.
"So what exactly was that whole thing?" Sougo asked, "Not the Another Rider, I mean those tech looking Riders."
"It was a training and showoff course for the G3 Unit," Tsukuyomi said as she began to do a search on her tablet while Ruby was on her phone, "It's a special police taskforce."
"The police are trying to make their own Rider Troops?" Geiz asked.
"Well it does have precedence," Ruby said as she looked at her phone, "From what I could find on my research, they were at the forefront of a string of incidents in 2001. G3 used to be a singular Rider meant to combat the Unidentified Lifeforms."
"Unidentified Lifeforms… you mean the guys Godai fought right?" Sougo asked.
"Correct my Overlord," Woz gave a smile, "They were the enemies of Kamen Rider Kuuga, in fact G3 was modeled after Kuuga as well."
"That does explain the resemblance," Blake said as she took a peak at a G3 Suit that Tsukuyomi was looking at.
"But you said 2001 right? Kuuga was 2000," Weiss pointed out.
"Basically the fear was that the Unidentified Lifeforms might return," Ruby said as she recalled what notes she had, "But instead a new group showed up that they labeled as The Unknown. G3 would battle them alongside other Riders of that year and would even receive upgrades to the suit himself into G3-X."
"There seems to be a lot of info on G3," Oscar noted.
"It makes sense that G3 was likely a semi-public project, maybe not advertised like other Riders, but still in the public eye," Geiz replied, "So then, that means this Another Rider is connected to 2001 if he's suddenly interrupting their training."
"If that is the case, then we may be able to set a trap for the Another Rider," Woz realized as he kept to a slow pace behind everyone else.
"That won't be necessary, I believe the G3 Unit is making its own trap," Tsukuyomi said as she pulled up a news report of a sudden outdoors training exercise for the G3 Unit.
"Well now, I must say that both you and Miss Rose are as resourceful as ever, Tsukuyomi," Woz complimented.
"We try our best," Ruby gave a smug smirk.
"Do you know where it is?" Geiz asked.
"Yes, they've publicly revealed the location as well," Tsukuyomi nodded.
"Then let's get going," Sougo suggested before letting Tsukuyomi take the lead, with him and the others following.
Just as Tsukuyomi had said, the G3 Unit had scheduled an outdoors field test for later in the day. The officers alongside Omuro and three G3's were getting prepared in a training field. His higher ups had asked him to handle Another Agito as soon as possible, and he needed to confirm something. So setting up a wider open area with everyone prepared under the pretense of a testing exercise was his plan.
It worked like a charm, Another Agito slowly but surely making his way into the testing ground, giving a chuckle as he saw all of the firearms trained on him. Not only did the three G3's have their Scorpion Pistols out, the various officers had their own high caliber pistol rounds loaded into their guns and aimed alongside Omuro.
"You…" Omuro spoke up, "Who are you?!"
"I am the one who was chosen to become a King," Another Agito explained with a sinister chuckle, "And you all are trash and vermin for thinking you could ever reach my level. The level of power I was born with… it's not yours!"
"That's all I needed to hear," Omuro said as he clicked his tongue, "Open fire!"
It wasn't long before the officers began unloading their bullets on the Another Rider, sparks flying from his body. Another Agito could only walk forward confidently as the attacks while visibly impacting, did nothing. The G3's were up next, all three firing their rounds which were at a higher caliber than the ones the officers held. While they seemed to be doing a bit more visible damage as Another Agito was actively twitching from their shots, it wasn't enough.
"Lead G3, withdraw, remaining units, cover him!" Omuro ordered.
The G3 at the lead of the three quickly spun and rushed back towards Omuro as the other two G3's tried to shoot Another Agito down. The Another Rider remained undeterred as he grabbed both of them by their necks.
"Authorizing use of GG-02 Salamander," Omuro quickly grabbed a case that was near him and opened it up, handing the Lead G3 a grenade launcher attachment.
The lead G3 gave a nod before attaching it to his Scorpion. He then rushed forward with his grenade launcher enhanced gun, taking aim as the other two G3's were tossed to the side. He pulled the trigger and unleashed the grenade at Another Agito.
Another Agito gave a gasp as he was struck by the attack, sparks flying as he was forced to take a step back. He looked forward in confusion only to get struck by two more grenade shots, sparks flying even further.
"I figured that might not be enough," Omuro realized once he saw Another Agito still standing.
"But it's still effective," The Lead G3 reassured as his partner G3's took aim and fired at where the grenades had hit, managing to get Another Agito to stagger back further.
"No… no…" Another Agito hissed out before gagging, holding his throat and mouth before suddenly throwing up. The teeth on his mouth opened wide as he began spewing out a black substance. It wasn't long before the black substance began forming monstrous creatures.
"Unknowns…?" Omuro asked in shock at what he was seeing.
The creatures that were forming from Another Agito's black vomit were Formica Pedes, monstrous ant drones that were primarily used by the Ant Lords back in 2001. The Formica Pedes gave growls as they began to rush towards the G3's and Officers in an attempt to overwhelm them.
It wouldn't be long before Sougo and Ruby arrived at the edge of the testing site with the others. All of them could only look on in surprise as the Pedes tried to overwhelm the G3's and Officers as Another Agito led them.
"Bingo," Geiz called out.
"They really love bringing out the minions now huh?" Yang asked.
"At this point they're just there to keep us from ganging up on one monster," Blake remarked.
"Okay Team, you three, Oscar and Tsukuyomi will help make sure those Officers get out of harm's way," Ruby said before looking over to Another Agito, "The rest of us will help the G3's with that Another Rider."
Everyone then split up once they had their missions. Weiss, Blake and Yang summoned their Rider Weapons while Oscar brought out Long Memory, the four working on forcing the Pedes away from the officers. Using that distraction as their chance, Sougo, Ruby, Geiz and Woz all rushed forward and prepped their transformations.
"You kids, get back its dangerous!" Omuro called out as Tsukuyomi ran over to him.
"It's alright, we're sort of professionals at this," Tsukuyomi explained, "Allow us to assist."
"Huh?" Omuro asked before suddenly turning at the sounds of the Riders gear activating.
The four Riders rushed in and began shoving and kicking Pedes away from the G3's before getting between them and Another Agito.
"Henshin!"
[RIDER TIME!]
[FUTURE TIME!]
[KAMEN RIDER ZI-O!]
[KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!]
[KAMEN RIDER ROZE!]
[SUGOI! JIDAI! MIRAI! KAMEN RIDER WOZ! WOZ!]
Kamen Rider's Zi-O, Geiz, Roze and Woz rushed forward as their transformations completed. Woz and Roze working on beating back the Pedes while Zi-O and Geiz went to drag Another Agito away. Their plan had managed to work as the three G3's had breathing room now that the other Riders had come into play.
Geiz managed to get Another Agito's arm in a hold, wrapping his arm around the Another Rider's neck to hold it in place. Thanks to this Zi-O was able to notice both the year and the name on the Another Rider.
"Agi… Agi-Omega?" Zi-O tilted his head.
"It's Agito," Woz suddenly moved over to Zi-O's with a Pedes underneath his arm as he had gotten the drone in a headlock, "Given all the clues I believe this is the Another Rider of Kamen Rider Agito."
"Get off me you worm!" Another Agito yelled as he managed to force Geiz to back away, he then gagged further before bending over and spewing more black liquid from his mouth.
"Gross!" Roze called out as she kicked a few Pedes away, bringing out Crescent Rose and aiming before firing at Pedes that were further back.
It wasn't long before the black liquid began to spawn more Formica Pedes, the drones giving hisses as they charged forward in great numbers to overwhelm the current set of Riders.
"Okay these things are even grosser!" Roze yelped as she smacked a Pedes to the ground, taking aim and shooting it in the head.
Swartz was watching this unfold from afar and out of sight with a smirk, "While Agito is not a singular entity I suppose that doesn't suit your mindset. Leave it to you to replicate Agito's enemy by summoning their minions."
"So he can just vomit more henchmen?!" Zi-O asked as he kicked a Pedes away before ramming his head straight into another's. He could only yelp as he backed away and held his head, "Okay, not the best idea…"
"Something's off about this Another Rider," Geiz called out as he brought out the Zikan Zax to slash against a few Pedes.
"Seriously, there's more?!" Weiss questioned as she brought out Myrtenaster, dual wielding with her Chalice arrow to force the Pedes near her back. She then aimed, using a fireball to strike one that was attempting to overwhelm Oscar.
Blake and Yang meanwhile used their weapons to their advantage, Blake spreading out arrow shots while Yang closed in and struck the minions with either her Blizzard or Magma Knuckles. The G3's in the meantime, while confused, went to fight and support wherever they could.
Another Agito chuckled as he began to make his way through the crowd of fighters and minions. While his target was the G3's he knew that no matter how many he took down, they'd just come back. So while everyone was busy fighting, he lurked through the crowd before coming across Omuro and Tsukuyomi.
"There you are…" Another Agito hissed out as he locked eyes with Omuro.
"Stay away!" Tsukuyomi called out as she drew out her Faizphone X and began firing at Another Agito.
The Another Rider raised his arms as he blocked the shots. He then yelled while spreading them out before leaping towards the two.
"Back away!" Tsukuyomi quickly pushed Omuro back before holding out her hand towards the Another Rider.
Another Agito gave a gasp as he suddenly froze in place, his body becoming glitch and static filled, "This…"
Swartz took a step forward in surprise, nearly exclaiming as he saw this occurrence. He put a hand over his mouth as he had to restrain himself. The three girls that used to be Riders wielding Rider Weapons was one thing, but this… this was cause for true concern.
[BURST MODE!]
Tsukuyomi immediately took aim, sending a burst of energy shots from her Faizphone X before hurrying over to Omuro and helping him out of the way.
Once time stop ended, the burst shots impacted Another Agito directly in the chest as he was sent falling to the ground, landing on his stomach. Another Agito gave a yell as he slammed his hands against the ground, picking himself up and hunching forward, "How…?"
"What?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"How do you have that power?" Another Agito asked as he began to step forward, "Only one man has that power… the man who gave me this power… so why, why do you have it? Were you also chosen? But if so why? Why do you protect those who choose to step into our domain?"
Tsukuyomi began to back up as she heard this, taking aim and firing a single shot at Another Agito who simply backhanded it away.
[CHALICE! WEAPON TIME! CHALICE ARROW!]
The announcement was accompanied by a flurry of rose petals, Roze rushing past Another Agito before landing in a crouched position next to Tsukuyomi. Aiming her Chalice Arrow she drew out and slid the card.
[TORNADO!]
Roze fired several bursts of air towards Another Agito, the air becoming curved blades that sliced against the Another Riders body.
Another Agito yelled and was about to rush forward when something caught his eye. Clicking his tongue he stopped before leaping back. He then rushed off, the remaining Formica Pedes retreating alongside their master.
"You okay?" Roze asked.
"Y-Yeah…" Tsukuyomi gave a timid nod, she was relatively unscathed but the Another Rider's ramblings had managed to unnerve her.
Omuro meanwhile walked over and gave a bow, "Thank you for helping us."
"Oh it's no problem, that's just what we do," Roze chuckled as she dismissed her transformation before holding out her team's business card to Omuro, "Here you go, if you need to contact us we have a main line but the bottom line is my cell if we don't end up answering."
"Of course," Omuro gave a nod before looking around, "Now if you'll excuse me I need to rally my men."
The group decided to reconvene at Team RWBY's apartment, everyone sitting or standing at various parts as they tried to figure out what the goal of this Another Rider was.
"So he can create his own minions just like Another Blade," Geiz stated, "But the worst part is unlike the Monolith, this guy is sentient."
"He's just a lunatic," Tsukuyomi spoke up after hearing her friend speak but she kept looking down, "Just a ranting, raving lunatic who looks down on everyone else."
"So that's his motive then," Ruby realized, "Why didn't he react to any of us though?"
"Probably because we weren't his targets," Geiz replied, "Remember, he left us with his minions to go after that leader."
"The more worrisome part is something else," Woz finally spoke up, "All of us here can recall the prior Another Riders, correct?"
"I was about to say…" Oscar admitted as he raised his hand slightly, "That Another Agito guy looked too much like a Rider to me."
"Honestly I was thinking the same thing," Blake agreed, "I remember before we got to Earth we ended up in 1994, and met Kamen Rider Shin. That Another Rider reminds me a lot of him."
"Yes, he does not resemble the previous Another Riders," Woz gave a nod, "We need to proceed with caution as I can't imagine what the Time Jackers are thinking with this plan…"
"First, let's find Kamen Rider Agito," Sougo suggested.
"Do you even know where he is?" Geiz asked.
"Not really…" Sougo shook his head before taking out his phone.
"As I suspected," Woz said as he expected this outcome.
"But…" Sougo gave a grin as he began to type, Weiss walking over as she questioned what Sougo was even doing.
Geiz looked over towards Ruby, "What about you, do you have any leads?"
"Well during the reports of G3 there was a mention of Agito," Ruby admitted, "But trying to look up further ended up leading me…"
"Found it!" Sougo declared as he slapped his hand on the dining room table before showcasing his phone. Everyone gathered except for Ruby and Tsukuyomi, all of them staring at the image on the phone before them. It was a simple webpage that had a fairly fancy meat dish on its home page alongside the name of the establishment:
Restaurant AGITΩ
"…to a restaurant," Ruby finished as she gave a sigh.
"It is indeed a restaurant…" Woz agreed.
"You nitwit, like it was going to be that easy…" Geiz crossed his arms.
"Sougo I swear to…" Weiss muttered as she buried her face in her hands.
"Yeah… I know," Sougo gave a nod, "But it might be connected! Let's check it out!"
"Sougo, I doubt he's going to be there," Ruby gave a light groan.
"But did you check?" Sougo asked.
"Uh… no, because it's a restaurant…" Ruby gave a deadpan stare towards her friend.
"So you didn't check," Sougo gave a grin before standing up, "Let's go!"
"It's better than doing nothing," Geiz reluctantly agreed.
Ruby was about to argue when she noticed that Tsukuyomi was still where she was, silently staring at the ground, "You guys go ahead… I need to take care of some things."
"You just don't want to be proven wrong in person," Sougo stuck his tongue out before heading for the door with the rest of Team RWBY, Oscar, and Geiz.
"Hey if he's there do you think we can score a free meal?" Yang asked.
"I doubt they have the money to spare to feed all of us," Weiss replied, "From the dish on the cover alone it looks like quite the expensive establishment."
Ruby could only give a slight smile as her friends left before she looked over towards Tsukuyomi, noticing the time traveler was still silent. She gave a light yelp when Woz walked past her to get closer.
"You seem troubled," Woz spoke up, also having stayed behind, "Was it because of your short confrontation?"
"It's… it's nothing," Tsukuyomi lied, but the doubt in her words made it very clear to the two.
"You have stopped time countless of times, though this is my first time witnessing nearby," Woz spoke up, "But it cannot be because of that, what did that Another Rider say to you?"
"He just rambled on and on," Tsukuyomi replied as she stood up before walking for the door, "I need some fresh air."
"Woz," Ruby spoke up, "I never brought this up given I've made sure Tsukuyomi used it sparingly, but I need to because of your proactive approach from time to time. Do not let the Time Jackers know about this, even if her powers are just like theirs."
"Of course," Woz gave a bow before giving a smile, "After all this secrecy gives an advantage to my Overlord."
"Exactly," Ruby replied, "So unless we somehow slip up and they find out, don't press them for answers."
"Understood," Woz said before noticing Ruby heading off, "You are going to rejoin the others?"
"No, I'm going to try and see if I can talk to Tsuki," Ruby replied as she made her way to the door, "I'd rather not leave her by herself."
"Of course," Woz said as he watched Ruby leave, choosing to simply stay behind for the time being until Sougo and the others needed him.
"What's so special about this one?" Ora asked as he paced around a rooftop patio, "It looks like your average Another Rider with a disgusting way to bring out minions."
"I don't know, it feels weird," Uhr admitted as he leaned against the fence that lined the patio.
"It looks too much like a Rider," Finis spoke up as with a slight smirk, tapping their fingers on the table she was sitting at, "Honestly I can't help but be proud."
"Now that you mention it does…" Uhr realized, "But it didn't really do anything of note did it?"
"All it did was attack a bunch of G3 users, people who aren't even a threat," Ora replied.
"What is Swartz trying to do…?" Uhr asked.
"Probably something convoluted, again," Ora admitted.
"He's digging deeper into history," Finis explained, "Remember that the times he's dealt with Legend Riders before Another Zi-O he was barely scratching the surface. But now he's digging deeper, figuring out what makes them tick and devising strategies that way."
"So you think it has something to do with Agito?" Ora asked.
"Well if he's doing something let's see what it really is and meddle a bit," Uhr replied, "He's been going on his own too often and taking the lead too much. He needs to remember we exist too."
"True, we have been rather… inactive," Finis agreed.
"That power…"
Swartz was currently on a rooftop pacing around, Another Agito nearby crouched and still in his Another Agito form.
"That girls power indeed…" Another Agito remarked in slight awe, "She's just like you, right?"
"She did it so purposefully," Swartz replied, "As if she's been training hard to master it."
"I'll take that as a yes…" Another Agito said before giving a yell and stomping his foot against the roof, "So why?! Why does she side with those that are beneath you both? Why does she side with those who don't deserve the power we hold?!"
"Will you please just…" Swartz paused as he held his head, an ingenious idea forming as a smile crossed his lips, "I must test its limits…" He muttered before turning towards Another Agito, "My dear friend, how about you show her the true path."
"The true path…. Yes the true path!" Another Agito called out with a laugh, "If I force her to fight me, and show her how superior she is to those lowly humans… then she'll truly come to her senses!"
"Good, then shall we get going?" Swartz asked.
"But…" Another Agito squatted down and held his mouth, "What about her friends? They were annoying and pesky… even my servants couldn't do much."
"Then you make a distraction… you've targeted G3 twice, third time's the charm," Swartz replied, "But you need to target the true G3."
"The true G3…?" Another Agito asked.
"Indeed… target their main headquarters, where G3-X is stored so that they no longer have their strongest iteration," Swartz replied, "With that big of a target, most of those Riders are sure to answer."
Another Agito gave a chuckle as he stood up, "Very well then…"
Sougo held a confident smirk as he looked up from his phone, finding a homely looking establishment titled Restaurant AGITΩ. At the door there was a menu showcasing what was available.
"This looks to be the place," Geiz said as he stared at the sign.
"So… we're not all going in at once right?" Oscar asked.
"There are a lot of us just to ask a question…" Blake agreed.
"Three should be fine then," Weiss suggested, "I say Geiz, Sougo and I should go."
"Just see if you can cut us a good deal Ice Queen," Yang gave a wink.
Weiss could only scoff, "I'm not trying to get us a free dinner."
"We're here on a mission," Geiz reminded before following a silent Sougo inside alongside Weiss.
Inside confirmed that the homely looking outside was also the same for the outside. Nice low warm lighting, soft white walls alongside wooden furniture. Cleaning one of the tables was a waitress with puffy brown hair.
"Welcome," She gave a smile when she saw the three enter.
"Um, my name is Sougo Tokiwa," Sougo introduced to let the waitress know that this wasn't going to be a normal visit, "Is Kamen Rider Agito in today?"
"Eh…?" The Waitress tilted her head.
Weiss slapped her forehead while Geiz pulled Sougo back after recovering from the shock of that blunt question.
"Why would you ask like that?" Geiz questioned.
"Don't worry I've got this," Sougo reassured his friends before stepping forward again, "I want to become a king. And to do that, I need to see Agito."
"Sougo you absolute dunce," Weiss smacked her forehead again.
"A king…?" The Waitress asked, "When you say Agito, do you mean Shoichi?"
"This Shoichi guy is Agito?" Sougo asked in a genuinely excited tone, "I'd love to meet him!"
"I'm sorry, he's out of country," The Waitress apologized, "He's been training overseas."
"I see… sorry to trouble you," Sougo gave a bow, Geiz giving one out of respect due to Sougo's nature.
"Excuse my friend over there," Weiss said as Sougo and Geiz went to exit, she walked over and pulled out a business card, "But… if you really are friends with Agito, I'm part of a group that helps Riders out. If you need any help please don't hesitate to call."
"Thank you, sorry if I wasn't any help," The Waitress took the card before giving a bow.
"And I'm sorry if Sougo was too forward," Weiss bowed before heading out.
It wasn't long before the work phone began to ring, the Waitress picking it up, "Yes, this is Restaurant Agito."
"It's me," Shoichi's voice came through, "I'm back in town, Mana."
"You could've let me know you were coming back," Mana replied.
"I rushed back after I got your message," Shoichi continued, "Managed to use my connections to get a short trip back. The G3 Units are in trouble, right?"
"It was hard to tell in the footage but it looked like an Unknown was attacking them," Mana explained.
"Omuro is the Captain now, isn't he? I'll probably get in contact and lend him a hand," Shoichi replied.
"Oh, and some strange kids came by…" Mana decided to let Shoichi know about what had just happened, "One of them said that he wanted to be a king, and he needed to see Agito to do it."
"He wants to be a king…?" Shoichi asked with a hum, recalling back to something similar a Rider friend of his said when they were visiting him in France.
"He also had a friend who mentioned that they help Riders, gave me a business card and everything," Mana admitted, "Something tells me they might know what's going on."
"Send me the number and I'll see if I can call them," Shoichi said, "I'll drop by after I talk to Omuro, alright?"
"Alright, take care," Mana said before hanging up.
Outside of Restaurant AGITΩ, after explaining the situation, the only thing the group of six could do was head back to the apartment. Needless to say, Weiss was still annoyed at Sougo's reckless attitude when it came to introducing himself.
"I thought we had a good lead there…" Sougo groaned, "And we need the Agito Ridewatch too."
"We have four Upgrades that can deal with the Another Riders though," Yang pointed out, "Can't we just skip Agito and come back later?"
"True but having the Watch won't hurt us," Geiz admitted as he thought a bit, "You guys want to go overseas…?"
"Where did that come from?" Oscar asked.
"We have the Time Mazines," Geiz pointed out, "We could easily find out where Agito works and visit."
"I think we should probably figure out what Another Agito's deal is first," Blake suggested.
As the group of six walked they'd stumble upon a fountain that Woz was sitting at.
"My Overlord," He spoke up once they were closer, he stood up before turning to face them, "The G3 Unit's leader has contacted us. It appears as though those Unknowns that Another Agito commands have appeared to cause havoc."
"Zi-O…" Geiz trailed.
"Let's get going," Sougo replied before pausing, "Wait, someone should get Ruby, and… wait did Tsukuyomi really not come with us?"
"No, I think she stayed behind too," Oscar said, "I can go back to the apartment if you'd like."
"You will not find them there," Woz replied before taking out the Taka Watchroid and tossing it over to Oscar, "However with that you will find them."
"Thanks," Oscar said as he activated the Taka Watchroid before running off.
"Let's get going," Sougo said, "Woz!"
"Of course, allow me," Woz said as he unfurled his scarf, unleashing it around him and the group like a vortex before constricting it. Soon enough they had all vanished as Woz had teleported them away.
The G3 Unit's main tech headquarters was currently under attack with Formica Pedes all swarming to try and break through and get inside. Omuro had deduced that their goal was simple, try and completely disable every single piece of the G3 System, including the G3-X.
"Yes, yes, destroy them all… ransack the place… do not let them evolve any further…" Another Agito hissed out as he commanded the Pedes from the center of the large crowd.
Of course the G3's weren't defenseless, and thankfully due to the Pedes being Unknown's, the G3's had the tactical advantage due to the main suit having fought Unknowns in the past. As a result the three G3's were using a fair amount of equipment that Omuro had authorized. The Lead G3 was utilizing the Scorpion-Salamander combo to stagger multiple Pedes at once. The other two were using two of the arm mounted weapons, one using the GS-03 Destroyer, a high frequency mounted sword to cut through Pedes. While the last one was using the GA-04 Antoures, a wire-anchor hook, utilizing it to hold the Pedes in place before firing with his own Scorpion handgun.
The three were putting up a good fight, but even with the assistance from the Officers who held high caliber rounds and Omuro's orders, they were still losing ground fast.
It wasn't long before Sougo and the others arrived via Woz's teleportation. Everyone could only stare in surprise at the mass of Pedes that had formed.
"Just… just how many are there?" Weiss questioned.
"Good thing there's six of us," Yang pounded her fists together.
"It appears as though Another Agito is in the center," Woz said as he narrowed his eyes, readying his Quiz Watch.
"We Riders will take the lead," Sougo said as he stepped up and took out Zi-O II, "You guys support, we'll clear our way to Another Agito and beat him here!"
"Sounds like a plan," Geiz said as he prepared Revive Shippu.
Weiss, Blake and Yang all nodded, the three summoning their Rider weapons and readying themselves as the Riders initiated their transformations.
"Henshin!"
[RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER~! (RIDER~!) ZI-O! (ZI-O!) ZI-O~! II!]
[REVI-REVI-REVI! REVI-REVI-REVI! REVI-I-VE SHI-PPU! SHIPPU!]
[FUTURE TIME! FASHION! PASSION! QUESTION! FUTURERING QUIZ! QUIZ!]
The three Riders readied their weapons before rushing forward. Zi-O dual wielded and slashed his way through with the Zikan and Saikyo Girades. Geiz sped through with his Jaclaw in its claw mode. Woz meanwhile strolled through, utilizing his Despears cane mode to smack around the Pedes.
Yang quickly jumped in, smashing down two Pedes with her Knuckles while Weiss supported from afar with the Chalice Arrow. This allowed Blake to separate her Gashacon Sparrow into its sickle modes to rush in and slash at the Pedes.
"True or False," Woz declared as he got deep within the Pedes horde, "The G3's that are fighting right now are the weakest variant of that system."
The Pedes said nothing as they tried to swarm over Woz only to receive blue electric shocks as they began to stagger back.
"The answer is False," Woz said before running his finger across his weapon's pad to initiate its finisher.
[FINISH TIME! FUKASHIGI MAGIC!]
Woz began spinning his staff around above him, projections of question marks flying out and ringing around several Pedes to clump them all together in groups.
"Looks like that form can be pretty useful," Geiz said as he flew up into the air before performing a dive against the grouped up Pedes, causing explosions and clearing a small chunk of space.
Zi-O meanwhile rushed through, slashing against the Pedes as he closed in on Another Agito. He gave a yell before slashing, Another Agito dodging against the slashes by side-stepping and ducking. Zi-O slashed down with both weapons but was surprised to see that Another Agito had caught them by the blades.
"You're getting too comfortable," Another Agito hissed out before ripping both weapons out of Zi-O's hands and tossing them away.
"Just what do you want?!" Zi-O called out as he punched at Another Agito only to have his punch caught and tossed to the side. He then gave a gasp as he was smacked in the face, staggering back as he held it, "What's this power?"
"This power is the power I was gifted to ascend beyond you disgusting mongrels!" Another Agito yelled out with a laugh as the Pedes began to take advantage of Zi-O's staggered state, swarming him.
"Seriously… get off!" Zi-O yelled out as he began to get swarmed, managing to punch a few Pedes and kick one in the shins to stagger it. But he was getting overwhelmed and fast, so he started readying his transformation for Trinity, "Geiz, Woz! We need overwhelming power now!"
[ZI-O TRINITY!]
"What…? Now of all times?" Woz asked as he pulled a Pedes away from trying to move towards Weiss before smacking it to the ground.
Geiz slashed through several Pedes before spinning and kicking several away, "But we need numbers-"
[ZI-O! GEIZ! WOZ!]
"Sorry, Trinity Time now!" Zi-O interrupted as he initiated the transformation just as the Pedes began to pile on him. It wasn't long before both yellow and blue lights shined down from Regulus, transforming both Geiz and Woz into their watchstrap forms.
[TRINITY TIME! MITTSU NO CHIKARA! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O! GEIZ! WOZ! T-RIN-I-TY~! TRINITY!]
The Geiz and Woz watchstraps flew towards Zi-O, smacking the Pedes away as the transformation forced any others nearby further away. Both Geiz and Woz attached to Zi-O before the transformation into Zi-O Trinity was completed.
"Alright," Zi-O was ready to move forward his left side suddenly kept still and pulled back.
"One moment, please," Woz spoke up.
"What's up, Woz?" Zi-O asked.
"There is something that must be done before we battle," Woz stated.
[WOZ!]
Another Agito saw a distraction forming with Zi-O's next move and chose to hide himself amongst the Pedes, slowly but surely moving through them as he went to make his escape. Of course Another Agito wasn't the only one making use of the distraction, as someone else had managed to make their way through the Pedes with relative ease, slipping past the G3 defensive line.
Woz was now in control of Zi-O Trinity, clearing his throat, "Fall upon your knees, for we are Kamen Rider Zi-O Trinity! All hail the great overlord Zi-O and his retainers, Geiz and Woz, the Triumvirate, architect of all history, and the ruler of all time!"
…
…
…
There was a deafening silence.
…
…
…
Everyone could only turn and stare at Zi-O Trinity. The G3's, Omuro, the Officers, Weiss, Blake, Yang, even the Formica Pedes of all things.
"Huh?" Woz had Zi-O Trinity look around before clearing his throat, "We are-"
"Alright, we get it already!" Zi-O wrestled control of his body from his retainer, "Woz, what the heck?!"
"Whatever do you mean?" Woz asked as the left arm of Zi-O moved in response.
"Since when am I a retainer…?" Geiz growled out as the right shoulder of Zi-O shifted.
"Please do be quiet," Woz said as his side of Zi-O gestured to the fully body, "This form is the symbol of my Overlord's conquest. It must be proclaimed as such."
"Okay I don't mind the Rejoicing…" Zi-O admitted as he slumped over, "But it's embarrassing when you use me to do it… like everyone's just staring…"
"Will you dolts please stop arguing and start fighting!" Weiss shouted as she slashed against one of the Pedes with her Chalice Arrow in annoyance.
"Y-Yes ma'am, we'll get right on it!" Zi-O gave a salute as he stiffened up.
"Are you sure it's embarrassment because of everyone staring…?" Geiz asked, already figuring that it was because Weiss was in the area specifically.
"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" Zi-O asked.
"Never mind… let's just fight already," Geiz groaned out.
Zi-O quickly rushed towards the front, trying to gather the Pedes attention away from the G3's so they could get a breather. He brought out the Despear in its scythe mode, hooking a Pedes that was trying to charge in solo before swinging and sending it tumbling back into an incoming group to stagger them.
"You guys alright?" Zi-O asked.
"Uh… yeah," Omuro gave a nod.
"Take a breather, we'll deal with this," Zi-O said before turning back towards the grouping of Unknowns. He then pressed down on the weapons pad before sliding his finger across it, "Let's take care of our pest problem!"
[FINISH TIME! IHCIGEKI KAMAN!]
Zi-O readied the Despear before swinging forward and, several curved energy slashes of pink, yellow and blue launching out and slicing through the front of the Pedes army. Explosions littered the entire front of the area as more Pedes began to rush through. Zi-O brought out the Jaclaw in its saw mode before slicing through the charging Pedes with ease.
Omuro was making sure everyone was alright when he got a sudden alert on his phone, "What?" He asked as before looking over at Zi-O, "Hey, can you kids handle clean up?!"
"You bet!" Zi-O gave a nod before tossing his weapons away, he cupped his hands together, "Guys, let's wrap things up!"
"Took the words out of my mouth," Yang dismissed her weapons, "Hey Blake, you go from above while Weiss and I go from below."
"Mind giving me a boost?" Blake asked.
"Like you need to ask," Yang gave a grin as she cupped her hands together.
Blake gave a nod, running for Yang and stepping on her partner's cupped hands, soon being tossed upwards by the blonde brawler. She used Shadow to launch herself further before loading in the Gashat and taking aim.
[GIRI GIRI CRITICAL FINISH!]
Blake pulled the trigger, sending down a rain of purple and yellow arrows that began striking through the heads of the Unknown Army, slowly but surely thinning their ranks.
[FLOAT! DRILL! TORNADO! SPINNING DANCE!]
[DRAGON! GLACIAL KNUCKLE!]
Yang gave a yell and punched forward, an icy blue eastern dragon launching out and freezing a good chunk of the Formica Pedes. Weiss was next, a blue tornado appearing around her as she quickly leapt forward. Instead of a kick like Chalice however she kept both Myrtenaster and the Chalice Arrow close, their blades sticking out. She then began spinning around like a top, slicing into and shattering the frozen Pedes. Of course the frozen pieces got launched by the tornado she was in, striking other still moving Pedes and sending them stumbling.
"My Overlord, the time has come for a display of your royal authority," Woz declared.
"Got it, Geiz, Woz… let's finish this!" Zi-O declared as he brought out both the Zikan Zax and Girade in their axe and gun modes. It didn't take long to start loading them with the Wizard and Blade Watches respectively.
[WIZARD ZAKKURI CUTTING!]
[BLADE SURE SURE SHOOTING!]
Heat gathered in the Zikan Zax before Zi-O slammed it down onto the ground, cracks of orange launching towards the army of Unkowns. Soon enough fire began to spew out and damage them as Zi-O took aim with his Girade, launching out fast lightning burst projectiles that pierced through the Pedes as they were struck.
"Now then Another Agi-" Zi-O lowered his weapons before noticing something wrong, "Wait… where's Another Agito?"
The attacks had managed to clear out most of the Unknowns, those being left fleeing as their entire army was left dwindled. The only ones left were the Officers, G3's alongside Weiss, Blake and Yang.
"Hey, wasn't Another Agito here?" Blake asked, "What happened to him?"
"Did we win…?" Yang asked.
"No, those things would've dissolved immediately and not run off if we hit Another Agito in all that," Weiss replied.
"What's going on here?" Geiz questioned.
"Could it be…?" Woz trailed before he spoke up once all eyes were on him, "It was… a distraction…?"
Omuro meanwhile was rushing through the main facility, someone having broken through and activated several silent alarms. His eyes had widened when he saw the target of whoever had slipped through. It was the storage room for the G3-X, so he quickly drew out his pistol and took aim once he caught sight of the man.
"That's far enough!" Omuro called out.
"Don't shoot," The man raised his arms and gave a chuckle, "And here I thought I could ride in out of nowhere to help you out given all the trouble you're going through."
"That voice…" Omuro lowered his weapon when he realized who it was.
Tsukuyomi was currently sitting on a stone bench that was overlooking the water, trying to gather her thoughts on everything. She thought back to Yang's words when they were first discussing her developing powers.
"Just because you have the power of a Time Jacker, doesn't mean you're-"
"Were you also chosen?"
"But if so why?"
"Why do you protect those who choose to step into our domain?"
Maguchi's words interrupted her thoughts again, but she thought her reasoning was simple. Just because she was different and stronger than others, she didn't want to look down on them. She gripped her fists, getting a bit angry at how Maguchi assumed how she should even act.
"Tsuki…?" Ruby asked as she slowly walked over.
Tsukuyomi turned in surprise, "Ruby? Shouldn't you be…?"
"What kind of friend would I be if I'm not here for you," Ruby smiled as she went to sit by Tsukuyomi, she gave a frown, "What did that creep say to you?"
"Just questioning how and why I have my powers," Tsukuyomi replied, "He's nothing but a psychopath who sees himself above others."
"Well if all goes well you won't have to worry about confronting him again," Ruby said as she placed a hand on Tsukuyomi's own.
"It's not just that," Tsukuyomi admitted as she pulled away, "I'm angry at him, I hate that line of thinking, and it's that mindset that creates tyrants like Oma Zi-O."
"But it's only natural to think like that with our kind of power."
Both Ruby and Tsukuyomi paled at the sudden voice and looked back in surprise, Swartz approaching them at a leisurely pace.
"To think you'd be troubled by your power," Swartz gave an almost mocking smirk as he tried to hold back his laughter, "Especially given how honed it is for this to be its first showing to me."
"How about you buzz off," Ruby gave a glare.
"This has nothing to do with you," Tsukuyomi answered.
"On the contrary," Swartz said as Another Agito suddenly leapt from behind a building and landed behind him, "The fact that I am here indicates that it most certainly does."
To Be Continued…
Next Time:
"I have a favor to ask you."
"I am nothing like you!"
"Ruby, where are you going?"
"You do not deserve the power of Agito."
"No matter what happens at the end of all this, I still win."
Chapter 65: 2019: Agito Evolution
Author's Note: Welcome to the Agito Arc in which Tsukuyomi is still going to be the main focus even if she's gotten her time powers already. Of course her focus is a bit different due to the fact that Another Agito is also different in that it's not a faceless entity. Maguchi himself is actually a reference to a character from an SIC Agito story as well, but he's not exactly the same guy. The name is just a reference I thought would be fun.
Also figured since the police are involved in some way I'd give us a cameo in the form of Shinnosuke, even if we won't be getting to Drive for a while. Figured I'd show more connections between the police Riders is all.
And just a reminder that we are about less than 10 Days away from the end of the month which is the deadline for the Community Interaction: "Tell me your favorite Monster of the Week in Heisei Rider". If you haven't suggested anything yet you still have time but you shouldn't wait too long.
