Thank you all for your lovely reviews.

Tizzybeth glad you like it :)

I-love-trunks-1 thank you so much for your review.

Zisaidwut glad you got it ;) well as I said in the first chapter, canon until episode 175 because am lazy and it is too boring for the story too. I'm still watching Boruto, if i notice anything i will put it in the extra chapter.

As you may have noticed I'm not good at action scenes, I honestly hate them. I want to watch them not write them. But I felt that training is the perfect solution for Hinata's condition. I tried to keep them as short as possible.

The next day Hinata woke up and prepared breakfast. Naruto had his Ichibi guarding mission at home. But she didn't want to stay at home, with him. Sasuke wants to see her at the training grounds. She told them she is leaving.

"Where are you going?" Said Naruto.

"Sasuke-Kun said he wants to help me with training.'' She didn't want to lie.

"Then it's just me and Hima?" said Naruto and winked at his daughter.

"Where is Boruto?" she didn't see him.

"He left early!" Himawari answered.

"Ok you two, have fun, I'll be back in time to make lunch" Boruto woke up before her? that is unlike him.

She hurried to the Uchiha training ground. She saw from a distance the black cloak. Sasuke is there early. She came closer, happily. Hinata was about to greet Sasuke, when she heard Boruto shouting.

"Ka-chan, what are you doing here?" She jumped choked, she was so happy that she didn't see Boruto and Sarada there.

"Hinata is going to train with us," Sasuke said in an authority voice. She frowned for the change of plan, the way he said it yesterday felt more like a romantic date. But she was happy nonetheless for training with the Uchiha prodigy.

They were throwing shurikens.

He told her she had a great defence for small range attacks but she must develop one for a long distance. Shurikens are perfect and she can charge them with lighting. All of them have this ability and can train together on it.

The kids could already do that. But their chakra control is nothing like Hinata's. She felt she could even add her byakugan to help hit chakra points of her enemies. She had so much fun at training, that she forgot to go home for lunch.

They all were happy finally training with Sensei Sasuke. They trained constantly until the afternoon when they couldn't anymore from hunger and tiredness.

She and Boruto went back home. At the entrance she remembered she promised to return home for lunch but she didn't.

"Gomenasai Naruto-kun, Hima," she said at the threshold.

Naruto and Hima came out of the living room, happy to see them.

"Don't worry, we managed lunch and made dinner too." She was very excited for 'the dinner', they hadn't eaten anything since breakfast.

She went to the kitchen and found instant ramen for dinner.

"Naruto-kunn!!!" This is not dinner. "I'll make quick fried rice, I'm sure I have leftover rice."

She opened the fridge, got the ingredients and made a quick dinner for all of them.

Then she took a shower and went straight to bed. She felt her whole body ache but it was so nice and motivating to train more. She noticed she didn't take her anti-sickness pills or sleeping pills. She fell immediately asleep.

The next morning, the last day of Naruto's guarding mission, she woke up even earlier, prepared bento boxes for training and breakfast and left with Boruto. It felt good to connect with her son and have something to do together. They never did that before.

She noticed he was happy too. Being surrounded by his favourite people. Their training today is against each other. Hinata against the kids. She wasn't sure she could handle herself. She saw them at the chunin exams. They were like monsters together against Shinki.E61

Sasuke came closer to her which startled her. "Trust in your abilities, you are a jonin." he whispered softly.

She got a little more confident. They started to attack her with their lightning and fire ninjutsu. She moved to the side and threw them with her shurikens, they couldn't see it from the huge fire. She hit them both. They disappeared as they were clones. The real ones were behind her, but with her byakugan she saw them as from her front. She threw shuriken their way, they could escape at the last minute. She turned to them fast and they fell on her Trigram. She almost Gentle fist them both, but stopped at the last minute as she saw they couldn't escape her attack. She couldn't believe it, ofcourse she is a jonin but that had been fifteen years and she thought she lost her powers.

Sasuke smirked at her and his eyes softened, he was proud of her. But very disappointed in his other students. "You trusted yourself too much, never underestimate an enemy even if you are the majority." he told them.

They thanked her for the lunch. It was delightful as always. Sasuke glanced at her with his heart visible eye that she missed. Sarada was amazed and praised her for the food and wanted to have the recipes.

She went home early, couldn't be happier, Boruto pouting at her side. They made dinner as Naruto and Hima came in from their walk.

After dinner father and daughter fell asleep on the couches in the living room. Hinata covered Naruto and took Hima to her bed and went straight to bed exhausted but very content and happy.

The next day Hinata wore her old mission attire, in the last training she had no pouch for kunais or shurikens. Sasuke couldn't take his eyes off her. She looked so gorgeous with a sleeveless lavender top, waistband with pouch, little black short and thigh long socks. He tried to breathe to calm down his heart. Is she doing it on purpose? They hadn't had any moments alone the last few days.

She brought Himawari with her too. She had her favourite teddy with her. It's the same teddy Sasuke left for her. He had mixed emotions seeing it. He remembered what Shikamaru said, that Hinata clutched to it in her shock. He frowned. He came closer to Himawari and saw that she was drawing.

"What are you drawing?" he was just curious.

"Ka-chan... she is my idol, she is strong, kind and so beautiful. I hope I will be like her when I grow up."

"I'm sure you will" and he smiled at her.

"Arigato Sasuke-San". She was so happy he said that. This kid is too cute, he thought.

After the training and lunch together. Himawari gave Sasuke her drawing of her mother training with him. It was beautiful, colourful, and full of emotions. He liked it so much. He patted her head and smiled at her

.

E127 Sasuke returned from a mission after a few days. Boruto ate his breakfast in a rush to go train with Sensei Sasuke-San. Hinata told him that Sasuke probably wants to rest and laugh at him because he reminds her of Naruto and his master at his age. She told her kids about how great Jiraiya-Sama was.

She showed them pictures of Jiraiya, Tsunade and the rookies. Boruto asked her why there wasn't a picture of Sasuke. She was startled at the turn of the subject.

"How was Sasuke-San at that time? Was he strong?" Boruto asked curiously.

"E...He...yes...he was always on top!!" She stuttered and smiled.

"He is awesome, he looks cool too, way cooler than this old man." pointing at the picture of Jiraiya.

"I think so too," said Himawari excitedly.

Hinata argues that Jiraya was probably stronger than his Sasuke or Naruto.

Boruto got so interested in knowing more about this shinobi who was better than his cool sensei.

E127 Sarada asked her mother where her father is, it is like he's not in the village, she barely sees him. Sakura was shocked and afraid her daughter would find out that he never sleeps in the apartment and that he stays in the Uchiha residence, which no one knows about, from the new generation.

Sarada told Boruto she saw the name Jiraiya on the Sixth favourite book. That must be the same Jiraiya. They went looking for his books to read and know more about the Sennin, in vain.

Later, Boruto met Sasuke at the training grounds. He asked him if Jiraya was really stronger than him or his father. Sasuke told him Jiraiya taught Naruto how to be a shinobi, his nindo and his techniques. That he was his master and like a father to him. The relationship between Boruto and Sasuke is not even close to what they had.

"Why weren't there any pictures of you"

"I lost my way, back then" Sasuke said in a sad tone.

"Did you get lost and didn't make it in time to take the pictures?" Boruto couldn't believe it.

"Something like that" He smirked.

"Could you borrow 'Make-out-tactic' from Kakashi sensei for me? "

Sasuke's eyes darkened with anger. "Don't you dare!!"

Why is everyone forbidding us from reading the book?

Boruto returned home dissatisfied and asked his mother again about his father. How was he when he was his age? Hinata told her kids that he didn't change, he was always honest, loved his friends and protected them. She told them about his and Jiraiya's nindo. And that she looked up to him when she was young.

"I bet you could find someone better than my useless father?" Maybe Sasuke-San?! said Boruto.

"I was and still in love with him" she didn't lie but her love for Naruto changed.

After everyone went to bed, Boruto found Jiraiya's books in his father's library in his office. He fell over which made a lot of noise. Hinata came and found him holding the books. She read a page and discovered the deviant of Jiraiya's famous books. She took them in custody, Boruto is too young for that.

She didn't blush or faint, actually she was extremely eager to read more pages. She was angry at Naruto for leaving the books at home where the kids could find them. She never saw them before. That was forbidden in the Hyūga Household. She crawled in her bed with Make-out-tactics. So that is what Kakashi sensei was reading shamelessly in public all the time. She couldn't stop thinking of Sasuke as she read.

Hinata heeded to Sasuke's suggestion and trusted Himawari more and treated her as a big girl. She left her home-alone or gave her shopping chores to do by herself. She often goes to the Hyūga dojo to train with Aunty Hanabi on her own. She even visited an academic open day to have a feel of how it is to be a shinobi student.E154

Hinata had more free time to train with Sasuke if he hadn't trained Boruto or Sarada and when he was in the village.

The times that he wasn't there she would go back to her hobbies that she deserted for years. She pressed flowers, knit, sewed, baked and gardened at the Uchiha residence again. She visited 'her' house again and brought the garden back to life. She planted more trees, and brought more koi fish for the pond.

She was very happy with the new changes and she didn't use her medicine for a long time. Her health got better and her stomach started to heal, so that she didn't need the anti-sickness anymore.

After his arrival from the Rain Village, Sasuke was more often in Konoha. Boruto and Sarada left for the Land of Valleys, so he had only Hinata to spend time with and train. She was back in shape like fifteen years ago at the war. Her health is helping her consistent training. She laughed more and enjoyed life everytime she saw him.

Sasuke was very pleased to see her health change and her spirit high. He didn't believe he was able to bring her back, but his love for her helped her, and made her realise how beautiful life is and that she can be joyful again.

"You should have come with me and Sai to the Rain Village, that would have made the mission much easier. We could have known what was laying underground and what those biological labs were." E157

She was so pleased to hear that. Maybe she must sign herself for active duty again. And missions with Sasuke would be so exciting. She couldn't get the idea out of her head.

"Sasuke-kun, could you help me convince Naruto-kun to sign me up for missions again?" she was embarrassed to ask something for herself.

"Ask him alone first ok, I don't want him to think we team up against him, if he says no, I'll talk to him." he collected his thoughts and started. "There is an important matter that you should ask for first... I want you to demand a divorce." he stood up and left.

Until when will he wait? Her health is getting better and she is back in shape. She must think of getting together with him first.

"Sasuke-kun, wait" she held his arm.

"I want to talk to you about something important."

He turned her way and looked at her with full attention.

"I'm divorcing Naruto-Kun for a lot of reasons, but most importantly, his priorities, his neglect toward his family, his failing as a father to connect with his kids and spend some time with them and me as his wife. But what guarantee I have, that you will not be the same like him, even worse, you are barely in the village. What guarantee that you won't leave me for years like before, like you did with Sakura?"

He listened to her every question and registered in his memories. Her fears, her thoughts of him, her feelings. It hurts him that she thinks of him this way. But she was right. She didn't know exactly what happened between him and Sakura.

"First of all, because of you, I stayed away from the village, for you to forget me and move on with your life, because you didn't want to leave him, remember. You put me now in this mission that I have been forced to complete to save us and the world. I'm the only one able too...Second of all" his voice changed as he came closer to her. "How could I leave you after I finally have you? After this mission is over, there are no more long term missions. I want to be with you, with all of you. Don't ever compare me to that usuratonkachi. I know my priorities and the first thing I want… is more kids" he hugged her waist " three are not enough." she blushed as she thought of it. He bent and kissed her cheek.

She smiled at his counterattack and argument winning manner. But she was happy to lose if it would feel like this.

"Don't come to the training ground tomorrow, concentrate on what I told you to do." he said in his authoritative voice and left. She has no doubt she would be doing anything if he commanded her with that voice. She blushed, her mind is so dirty. Damn, now she has Temari and Jiraiya's novel in her head.

Hinata left a note for Shikamaru to tell Naruto, she wants to see him tonight for an urgent matter. She should have done it long ago. It was only dishonest for both of them, torture for her children to see a broken devastated mother and unfair to Sasuke.

She knows this is going to be a hard, long night. But she just got to do it. How long can she twist the truth? When he finally came home as she requested. She was waiting with a pounding heart. She hates confrontation and always walks them out of the way as much as she can.

But now she has to face it, for her kids, Naruto, poor Sasuke and herself. She and Sasuke deserve to be happy. He has waited long enough to be with her. They are meant to be together, she can't deny it anymore.

"Naruto-Kun, c…can we talk now p...please?"

"Of course, Hinata, what do you want to tell me?"

She gathered all her courage. 'Come on Hinata, you can do this.'

"We cannot go on like this anymore" Naruto was shocked, he has waited for this phrase to come out of her mouth for a long time now. But he was shocked that she finally did it.

"I know, I know it's so hard for you, and ME TOO to not be with you, be with my family all the time, but you know how much being a Hokage is time-consuming. There is tons of paperwork waiting for me to be signed, it's my responsibility, the villagers depend on me".

"I know you work hard for the village, and I don't blame you. It's your dream after all, all you talked about as a child. And I'm so happy you achieved what you want. But we have no place in your life, we are not a priority to you at all"

"Of course you are Hinata, how could you say that?" he came closer to her.

"No we are not, I feel like a statue in this house, cooking, cleaning, playing the wife, being a mother and father for the kids. But that is it, I can't do it anymore."

"What do you want me to do, leave people's commitment and play house, husband and wife? " he turned his back to her, frowning.

She was furious " No I don't want you to stay at home, I want a divorce" there she said it. No need to go around it.

He couldn't believe his ears. He never imagined Hinata would say this word. He just stood there perplexed as if struck by lightning, even Sasuke's Chidori had no effect on him like this.

"You have no idea how I feel every night I go to an empty bed, no one to talk to, no one to share my daily life with, no one to laugh with, to watch a movie, to go on walks at night… no one except the kids to share a meal with. No one to help me with the kids, to have a break, to hear my own thoughts…No one to pamper me, to make me feel like I'm still a woman, not just a mother, to feel loved... emotionally, to make me feel like the most important person in the world." Tears fell from her eyes remembering all the years she suffered loneliness, neglect and felt as a single mother. How she took full responsibility for the house and the kids, thought she was suffering from a heavy depression. She never told him about her Postpartum-Depression that made her have suicidal thoughts and even worse, everytime the kids drove her crazy. The nights without her pills were a total horror movie.

Naruto can't imagine his life without her, even though he spends months without seeing her or the kids. But be out of the picture forever? That was too much for him to digest. Come home and not find her? Not have her with him in important moments of his life? Not having a beloved wife by his side?

Then he felt selfish, all he could think of were things that made HIM happy. That satisfied HIS needs. What about her?

He felt ashamed and regretful.

He knew about her depression and that she took antidepressants to function, to be the mother, she is expected to be. But her health changed a lot. He doesn't even know if she still uses them or not.

It was a long night indeed, they talked until dawn. He cried, she cried they screamed softly not to wake Hima, grabbed something out of the fridge in stress eating, not knowing what they were chewing. He laid on the floor hand over his forehead and tears rolled on the sides of his face. They shifted from the kitchen to the living room then back to the kitchen. She made some tea to calm down and talked some more, then hugged then kissed then cried even more. But it was over, he can understand now. It has no point.

Finally, he wanted to ask, just curious " Is there someone else?" He didn't want to look in her eyes.

She was awestruck, should she mention Sasuke? She never lied to him before.

"Th...there is... But that is irrelevant to my decision"

"Who is it?" A little bit furious, mostly jealous.

"Please Naruto-Kun, it's really irrelevant, why do you need to know?" she blushed ashamed.

"Tell me" he was really angry now.

"S..Sa..Sasuke-Kun" she was so embarrassed.

"T..Teme? Since when?" His eyes widened from the shock, he couldn't believe this. He gulped a lump in his throat.

"We had a friendship after the war when I treated his arm and eyes. And it developed over the years. We understand each other. And if it wasn't for that Genjutsu that revealed my feelings for you, probably those kids would be his. But I don't regret anything. I was never happier than I was with you Naruto-Kun and I thank you for that."

She always wins him over with her politics.

"Did you ever...?" Sometimes he wants to hit himself, why is he asking such questions?

"No… " she answered hurriedly before he finished his question. No need to mention the full details of their intimacy. He would probably never forgive them. She could see he was satisfied with her answer. It's better this way.

"Naruto-kun what you felt for me isn't love, it's just empathy. You wanted to make a friend happy, I guess. But in reality, you -secretly, no, publicly- never stopped dreaming of Sakura-Chan. She is your first love but I'm sure you'll find someone better to love. Someone who will truly love you, not just admire you like I did and still do." She came closer and held his big hands. "Naruto-kun, I will always be your friend. I'll always be there for you whenever you need me, ok?" She tried to comfort him.

He nodded in understanding "You could stay in this house as much as you like, it's your house anyway. I will send someone to pick up my belongings tomorrow, I mean later today. I'll stay in the Hokage tower suite." he said in a sad tone that broke her heart.

They hugged and kissed one last time. "We have to tell the kids," She announced.

"Don't worry they are old enough, they'll understand, not like anything will change for them anyways." answered Naruto with a fake smile.

Finally, they come to peace and agreement. She felt so light and elevated. Like some heavy burden was taken off her shoulders. She still felt guilty for not telling him the whole truth, but that will only cause unnecessary troubles. Naruto will be hurt so bad and she doesn't want to do that to him.
