July 22nd (continued)

Dionysus broke the kitchen sink. I don't know exactly how, because he refused to explain how, but he broke it. When I walked into the kitchen it looked like a lake there was so much water. He made me go with him to the hardware store. I don't know why, because he just stole the new faucet anyway… Unfortunately for him, Amy already knew what he had done, despite his efforts to hide it.

She said that she already knew what he had done before she even woke up. I thought she was exaggerating at first, but it turns out that Bill was messing around in her dreams and ratted Dionysus out. Oh well.

Speaking of Amy and Bill… I'm pretty positive they're officially a thing now. Mabel ran into the room squealing (I think she made my ears bleed) and swore up and down that she saw those two kissing when she went to go check on Teeth and Shade. I didn't doubt her, so I don't know why she swore it so much. I also don't know why she needed to give me tinnitus… Anyways, I noticed how different their behavior together is now, so I kind of assumed as much anyway.

Before, I would have been worried (for several reasons), but now, I think it's a good thing. Still, good luck to Amy. She has to live with BILL for the rest of her life. Wait, she's immortal too… Well, like I said, good luck Amy! (Just kidding. She'll be fine.)

July 25th

It's SO HOT! Ugh! This heat is killing me! Even Amy's animals don't want to leave their shelters today. Good thing Amy had sheared all the sheep earlier this summer. Bud and Waddles go outside to their "business" but then come right back in and flop over on the floor. Heck, even Bill keeps complaining about how hot it is. He even ditched his tailcoat for once. Dionysus turned himself into a fennec fox, so he's fine. Lucky him… I'm thinking about climbing into the fish tank…

Better idea. Mabel just told me that Grunkle Stan is going to take us to the public pool. We're the only three going. Ford is busy working on that thing with Ghost. Dionysus is fine. Bill says he'd rather continue "melting" than get in the water with a bunch of humans, and Amy doesn't seem very bothered by heat in general (Ghost said that she seems to have inherited her grandmother's fire attribute. I did notice that it gets kind of warm around her when she's mad). She's still wearing her jeans and has her long hair down, barely sweating if at all. She said she's going to stay behind to check on the chicken eggs before they get poached. I think she was joking about the poached part but it's so hot that it might happen.

Mabel wanted to invite Teeth and Shade to join us, but I don't think that's the best idea since the pool is public… Sure, weird stuff happens all the time around this town but, come on. Teeth. Enough said. Besides, Shade refuses to move and we're not even sure where Teeth is. (Hopefully that's not a problem that will crop up later)

"Hey," Mabel said as they walked through the gate to the pool, "remember our first time ever coming to this pool? That was when I met Mermando." She sighed whimsically.

"To be honest," her brother muttered, "I'd rather forget that whole experience…"

She chuckled. "I wonder who I'll meet this time."

He rolled his eyes. "I thought you were over the whole 'boy-crazy' thing."

"I thought you were over the whole 'WeNdY' thing," she mocked him.

"Wha- I am! What even brought that up?!"

"All right you two," Stan shoved them both out of the way, "move aside. It's too hot to be standing around listening to you two."

"She started it!"

"Nuh-uh!"

"Enough!" Stan pushed them both into the pool. "There." He smirked and dusted his hands off; he sighed. "Peace."

The twins burst their heads from the water, gasping for air.

"Gah!" Dipper yelped. "Something just touched my leg!"

"Really?" Mabel started trying to look for any animals in the water.

Suddenly, someone burst up from the water with their arms up and roared at them. Both twins screamed and flailed in the water before realizing it was only their friend.

"Wendy!" Mabel smiled.

She laughed. "'Sup? Haven't seen you guys in a bit. I was starting to think you might have gotten eaten by dragons."

Dipper recomposed himself. "Huh? No way. I don't think dragons actually eat people."

"Definitely not," Mabel added.

"Well, something has been going around flying off with people."

"What?" Dipper was surprised. "Seriously?"

"Mm-hm. You haven't seen the news? Some giant flying creature has been snatching up locals and tourists alike, never to be seen again." She said the last part dramatically and spread her hands apart for effect. She shrugged. "Then again, it only just started happening two days ago."

"No one's seen what it looks like?"

"Not really. Some people claim they have, but they're all different from each other, so you can't trust 'em."

"The dragons avoid this world," Dipper mused. "Well, for the most part. I don't think a dragon is behind it. Last time a mysterious giant flying monster was going around Gravity Falls it ended up being a pterodactyl, but didn't McGucket eat his way out of the pterodactyl?"

"It couldn't have survived that, right?" Mabel asked, looked a little disturbed.

"No way," Wendy assured her. "Besides, that old coot probably went back for seconds."

Dipper thought for a minute then snapped his fingers. "It had babies! Remember, Mabel?"

"Oh yeah… Three of them! You think they survived without the parent and grew up?"

"Maybe. Unless there's some other giant flying thing going around snatching people up. Hmm, what are the chances of a baby pterodactyl surviving without the parent bringing it food?"

"The dinosaurs were starting to melt out of their sticky prisons during our first summer here," Mabel said. "Maybe they've finally broken free? There could have been other pterodactyls. There were certainly other dinosaurs in general."

"Yeah, and that could be a –" Dipper was interrupted by the sound of screaming.

They climbed out of the pool and hurried over to the chain fence where a small crowd was forming. People outside of the fence were screaming and running away from something.

"What's going on?"

As if on cue, a large raptor bolted out from the bushes to chase the crowd outside of the fence while a second one sprung against the fence and let out a hissing roar at them. Everyone screamed and most of the crowd ran in the opposite direction.

"I knew it!" Mabel shouted as she and Dipper, Wendy, and Stan backed away from the fence in a hurry. "The dinosaurs broke free!"

"Problem!" Dipper shouted. "I was going to say that this would be a problem!"

The raptor started climbing up the chain-link fence to get to them.

"And I was right!"

"I ain't afraid of some overgrown lizard," Stan said. "I punched a pterodactyl in the face! Bring it!"

The raptor jumped down from the top of the fence and slowly lifted itself to its fullest height. It was probably at least six or seven feet tall. It turned its head to stare down at him, its pupil narrowing to a slit.

"On second thought," Stan said, "I'm too old to fight something with claws like that. I like living. RUN!"

The raptor roared as they turned and ran from it. They managed to get out and slam the gate closed just as the raptor reached it, but the force of the large animal slamming itself against the gate nearly knocked them over. Mabel quickly closed the padlock and started running.

"Hurry! He'll climb the fence again!"

The others followed after her, and they ran as fast as they could until they were stopped by a third raptor jumping out in front of them from beside a building. The one from the pool caught up seconds later and they were blocked on both sides by the raptors now.

"This is bad," Dipper said as he backed against the others. "This is bad!"

The dinosaurs were slowly moving closer, flexing their sharp talons in preparation to tear through flesh. Suddenly, a loud roar sounded from around the corner of the block and both raptors stood up to look. A huge t-rex was stomping around the corner and turned to look at the group. Both raptors fled swiftly in the other direction before the tyrannosaurus roared again and began storming over.

They screamed, but just before it got to them, something large, though much smaller than the dinosaur, sprung from the roof of a building and landed on the t-rex's back. It bit down on the dinosaur's thick hide with enough force to get the beast to focus all its attention on trying to get it off.

"It's Teeth!" Mabel shouted.

In its attempt to remove Teeth from its back, the t-rex stumbled and tripped over a parked car, causing it to fall and crash into a small store. Teeth sprung from its back as it fell and bounded over to the humans.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Well, we're alive," Stan replied.

"Not for much longer if we stick around here," Dipper said. "Let's go!"

Teeth crouched to allow them to climb up onto his back. As soon as they had settled, he bolted away. Good timing, too, as the t-rex had finally gotten back to its feet and was locked on to them.

"Look!" Mabel pointed at the sky. "The pterodactyls!"

Three large beasts were flying through the air, one carrying a motorcycle while another clutched tightly to a person they were unsure was unconscious or dead. The third swooped down behind a building and out of sight and they heard more screaming.

"This is like Jurassic Park," Wendy said, "but worse because it's actually happening!"

Teeth jumped onto a van and used it to spring himself up to the top of a building just in time for them to see the third pterodactyl rising into the air again. This time, it was carrying away a screaming girl.

"That's Pacifica," Mabel said. "We have to help her!"

"How?" Wendy asked.

"Teeth!" Dipper shouted to get the monster's attention. "What have you eaten today that you weren't supposed to?"

He flinched. "Huh?"

"Anything that might be useful right now?!"

"O-Oh! Uh… Oh yeah!" He coughed and hacked something out into the boy's hand.

"Ew." He retracted his hand to examine the item. "A boomerang? Where did you – Never mind!"

He lifted himself up on Teeth's shoulders and threw the boomerang, hoping his aim was good enough. Thankfully, it was, and the wooden toy smacked into the pterodactyl's head. It screeched in surprise and pain and accidentally released its prey, dropping her some hundred feet.

"Teeth!"

"I got it!" The monster dragon was already jumping down from the building and bolting after the falling girl.

She screamed the whole way down and shut her eyes, letting out a hard huff as she landed on something far softer than the concrete she was expecting. She opened her eyes to find herself being carried by a familiar face on the back of…something.

"Uh, h-hi," Dipper said awkwardly, suddenly remembering that he was only wearing swim trunks.

"Dipper?"

Before he could say anything else, they all yelped and held on to Teeth as he made a very sharp left turn to avoid the pterodactyl that had just swooped down after them.

"Sorry!" Teeth shouted.

"Just get us out of here!" Stan told him.

Teeth obeyed and kept running, despite the weight of so many riders wearing him down. However, it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to continue effectively dodging the pursuing pterodactyls. They ended up chasing them all the way to the outskirts of town where the only shelter nearest them was an old abandoned factory up on a hill. Teeth quickly made his way over to it and jumped the barbwire fence, scraping his hindlegs, then ran into the building through the large doorway missing its door. Finally, he flopped down onto his belly and sighed loudly with exhaustion as the others climbed down from his back.

"What is this place?" Mabel asked. It was hard to see in the dark building.

Wendy answered her. "I think it's the old fireworks factory. It was abandoned a long time ago. My friends and I come here to take fireworks sometimes."

"There's still some left?" Dipper asked as he helped Pacifica down from Teeth's back.

"Oh yeah. Lots. Like, lots. So, uh, be careful and don't light any flames."

"What is going on?" Pacifica said, sounding both agitated and frightened. "Why are there dinosaurs rampaging through town?! Aren't those things supposed to be dead!?"

"They were frozen down in the old mines," Dipper told her. "Er, sort of… The summer heat melted them all out."

She stared at him for a moment before suddenly turning on him. "Of course you know that!" She jabbed him in the chest with her finger.

He flinched. "What? What's that supposed to mean?"

"You and your sister are always bringing trouble with you, every time you show up!"

"Hey, this would have happened whether we were here or not!"

"Guys," Wendy said, "calm down."

"And what is that thing!?" Pacifica ignored her and pointed at Teeth.

The monster dragon lifted his head up in surprise.

"Well," Mabel was the one who answered, "he was a giant pair of gums and teeth with arms and legs, but then he got turned into a weird dragon thing. His name's Teeth. Teeth, this is Pacifica."

Teeth was frowning. "Er, hello…"

Pacifica pointedly looked back at Dipper with her hands on her hips. "See!? You weirdos are always surrounded by – by – freaks!"

"Hey, that's not nice," Mabel said.

"I'm not really offended," Teeth told Mabel.

Pacifica ignored them. "I'm tired of always suffering for you guys' meddling and bullshit!"

The others were surprised by her choice of words, aside from Dipper, who only continued to argue with her. "Oh, please! Like a spoiled rich brat like you is actually suffering! Your family might not be as rich as they used to be but you're still rich and you're still spoiled! Get over yourself! You still haven't changed!"

"Guys…" Wendy said through clenched teeth as she glanced around in the dark.

Pacifica looked stunned at Dipper. She scoffed. "How dare you!"

They continued to bicker loudly before Wendy said over them, "Guys!"

"What!?" they both yelled at her.

"Be quiet," she hissed. "There's something here."

They all stopped to listen and heard a faint hissing growl from somewhere further in the factory.

"It sounds like the raptors," Dipper whispered.

"They probably heard you two yelling at each other," Stan fussed.

"Maybe," Wendy said. She pointed at the bleeding cuts on Teeth's hindlegs. "Or they caught the scent of blood. Either way, we need to try and get out of here. Quietly. Let's go."

They turned to head back for the way they had come in, but found a large raptor standing in the doorway with a second one just behind it. They quickly and quietly took cover behind shelves of fireworks and kegs marked 'EXPLOSIVE' and hoped the dinosaurs would pass them.

The third raptor appeared from the darkness in the same direction they had all just come from. It stopped several yards away from their hiding place and sniffed at the air. No doubt it was smelling the blood from Teeth's cuts. The raptor let out a strange sound and the one in the doorway began to walk over as the second raptor stayed behind. The first raptor joined the third and sniffed around too, letting out a chirp to confirm the scent, and they both began to stalk their way over towards the group's hiding place.

They tensed, catching only glimpses of the two raptors through spaces between firework products packed on the shelves. The sound of the dinosaurs' sniffing and eager tapping of their large dewclaws on the concrete floor was all too clear though. Dipper felt something grab his arm and glanced over to find Pacifica clinging to him closely with her eyes shut tight and crying silently. He suddenly felt bad for yelling at her earlier. Then, he caught a glimpse of Teeth.

The pink dragon was carefully turning in place, positioning himself so that it appeared as though he was about to leap forward. Dipper wanted to tell him not to do it, but did not want to risk giving the raptors their exact location. Maybe one lone raptor, sure, but he didn't think Teeth could handle three of them. No, he knew he couldn't. The monster dragon was not covered with powerful scales like other dragons; he was fleshy and soft, highly vulnerable to sharp claws and fangs. Was he intending to distract the raptors long enough for the humans to escape? Teeth knew the scent of his blood was giving them all away.

Just as Dipper had feared, when the raptors got within a few feet of their hiding place, Teeth sprung out at them and tackled the nearest one. There was a surprised yelp from the one he had tackled then the factory was suddenly filled with the sounds of hissing, snarling, and roaring as the other two raptors lunged for Teeth in an attempt to help their companion.

"Shit," Wendy said. "Go!"

They rushed out from their hiding place as the dinosaurs were too distracted to notice them and made their way for the exit. Upon reaching it, Mabel stopped to look back at Teeth. He had the one raptor pinned down under his paws with the back of its head stuck in his jaws. The other two raptors had leapt on top of him and were clawing and tearing away at his flesh in a frantic frenzy. He pulled upwards with his head and yanked the caught raptor out from under himself, then tossed the animal into the shelves of abandoned product. There was a loud crashing sound as the impact caused the metal shelves to collapse. Upon striking each other, there was a spark, and suddenly the fireworks were going off in all directions with loud echoing bangs and bright lights.

Dipper spotted the kegs of gunpowder and grabbed his sister by the arm to pull her away. "Mabel! We have to get as far from this place as possible! Now!"

"But Teeth!"

She tried to pull her arm free, but something swooped down at them and picked them up. Before they realized what had happened, they were sitting in the grass near Stan, Wendy, and Pacifica a fair distance away from the building as it went up in explosions and flames. They stared at the scene in shock until something heavy landed nearby and pulled their attention over to it.

It was Angelo, the horse, but he now had large fangs protruding from his upper row of teeth, large backwards facing spikes along the back of his neck, and a pair of huge bat-like wings attached to his shoulders. Sitting on his back was Amy, who was looking over at the exploding building with mingled curiosity and surprise.

"Amy!" Mabel ran over to them. "Teeth is in there!"

"Teeth?" She looked down at her in shock.

"That monster friend of yours?" a familiar voice asked, and they turned to see Cupid landing behind them. "Let's see then…"

A spectral golden bow appeared in his hand and a strange-looking arrow in the other. He quickly nocked the arrow and aimed, shooting it right through the entrance to the building that was now billowing smoke. Something flashed purple inside and Teeth suddenly appeared a few feet away from the group.

"Ah," Cupid said, "I caught something else too."

Teeth was slumped over in the grass, bleeding from several deep gashes all over his body. In his jaws, he tightly held onto the throat of a dead raptor. Both of them were burned along their feet, tails, and faces.

While Mabel ran over to check on Teeth, Cupid turned back to the building and summoned a different arrow. He shot it, and as it neared the exploding factory, it burst with a popping sound and the entire factory was suddenly surrounded by a large pink bubble. They could still see the building blowing up, burning, and collapsing, but they could no longer hear it and the stray fireworks were now contained.

Amy jumped down from her horse and went to examine Teeth. He was breathing heavily but appeared to be unconscious. At least he was alive. She gently moved Mabel aside and placed her hands on the dragon's body.

"I've never been able to take a dragon form like I should," Amy said, "but I can at least use my mother's healing magic. He should be fine. I don't think he's lost too much blood. It doesn't look like they managed to tear into anything vital."

"Are any of the rest of you hurt?" Cupid asked.

They shook their heads, except for Pacifica, who was staring up at the dragon in shock and fear.

"I'm sorry," he said to her, "but you did not answer. Are you hurt? Do you need medical attention?"

"N-No."

"Ah, that's good." He looked relieved.

"Cupid showed up about an hour ago," Amy said as she continued to heal Teeth. "Then we heard a bunch of commotion all the way in town, so we went to see what was going on. We encountered a t-rex and a triceratops fighting in front of the mayor's office. Bill stayed behind to watch them."

"We've just finished wrangling up three pterosaurs," Cupid added. "A man we rescued from them said something about a trio of raptors running off in this direction, so we came to look for them." He glanced back at the factory then at the dead raptor trapped in Teeth's jaws. "I don't think we have to worry about them anymore though."

A tiny hummingbird suddenly flitted over to the group and transformed into a familiar red-haired man. "The rest of the dinosaurs have been taken care of," Dionysus announced. He looked very calm and was even smiling.

"You killed them?" Stan asked.

"What? No way! I just took a few of Cupid's arrows and contained them. We'll bring them all to Telmak later."

"Is that a good idea?" Dipper asked.

"What do you mean? There are already dinosaurs in Telmak. They'll fit right in! Well, in the correct biome, I mean. So, yeah, it's a great idea!"

"What about the t-rex and the triceratops?"

"Oh, well, the triceratops gored the t-rex to death. Uh, so that big fella won't be joining the others. But Bill has the trike under control. It's actually pretty friendly. It was just defending itself. I tell ya, those carnivores must've been real hungry after not eating for millions of years."

Amy sighed. "I guess I can expect Bill to show up later riding a triceratops…"

Teeth stirred a little and mumbled something.

"We can't understand you when your mouth is full, Teeth," Amy told him.

He spit out the dead raptor and lifted his head. "My paws hurt," he coughed.

"I'm working on it. Let me get these gashes closed up and then I'll heal the burns. Okay?"

He laid his head back down to rest.

"Well," Cupid said, straightening himself up. "If you guys are good here, I'm going to go gather up all those dinosaurs and send them to Telmak. Oh, and I left a Phantom Amaranth back at your home, Amy."

"Thanks. We'll wait for Bill and his new, uh, pet, then we'll head back. I think the police and first responders can handle the rest now that the threats are gone."

Cupid nodded and flapped his wings to lift himself into the air. "Farewell!"

"Well, I'm not waiting around here for anyone," Pacifica said stubbornly. "I'm going home!"

Amy looked over at her oddly, as if just realizing that she was there. "Who the heck are you?"

"Oh," Dipper said, "that's Pacifica."

"Pacifica Northwest!" Pacifica told Amy.

Amy looked amused. "Oh, I see. The family that lied about founding this town." Before Pacifica could retaliate, Amy said, "Well, you shouldn't go alone. We're pretty sure we caught all the dinosaurs, and Crusade is down in the mines looking for any down there, but the town's pretty wrecked. It's amazing how much damage can be done by a rampaging tyrannosaurus and panicked people. Well, I guess the pterosaurs and raptors caused problems too…"

"I can take care of myself!"

"You sure about that, princess?" The term was more mocking than endearing. Amy sighed. "If you want to take the chance, then sure. By all means, go get eaten by any potential stragglers. If not, then go with Dipper and take my horse."

"Why me?!" Dipper yelped.

"Well, I'm busy with Teeth, and the only other people here that Angelo will let even touch him are you and Mabel. Though, I doubt your sister is going to leave Teeth until he's better."

"Nope," Mabel confirmed.

"See?"

"Can't Dionysus take her?" Dipper whispered.

"No. Dionysus is going to stay here in case we really didn't get all of the dinosaurs. He's our only real defense right now if something attacks us. As you can see, Teeth is out of commission at the moment. If you guys get attacked, Angelo can just fly away. Now get over it and go. Both of you."

He sighed and turned to walk over to the large horse. Angelo's more frightening features (wings, fangs, and spikes) were gone and he looked like a regular perlino gypsy vanner. Dipper grabbed onto the saddle and placed a foot in the stirrup to lift himself up and over the large horse's back. Angelo's ears pricked and he shifted his feet a little but accepted the new rider and relaxed.

"I only ever rode a horse once in my whole life," Dipper said.

"It's not hard," Amy assured him.

He offered his hand to help Pacifica but she ignored it and pulled herself up onto the animal on her own. Angelo's ears went back and he made a deep whinnying sound as he began to lift his feet and slowly trot sideways.

"Whoa, relax buddy," Dipper said and pulled the reigns gently in the other direction.

The horse snorted and straightened up as he began to walk in the direction the boy was telling him to go.

"Get over it," Amy said to the horse. "Now go. Take them where they need to go."

Angelo shook his head and grunted, but obeyed and picked up his pace to head back into the town.

The town was pretty messed up, but it had seen far worse in the past. A few cars were dented, scratched, and smashed, there was a fire hydrant that was missing and the water was blasting up from it like a geyser, and the pterodactyl that had been carrying the motorcycle must have decided it was not edible and dropped it on top of the general store. They could hear police and ambulance sirens on the next street over as they passed by the shop that the t-rex had fallen into, but they did not stop to go investigate and kept on their way.

Finally, they reached the gated community where the Northwests had moved to after losing their old manor. The other side of the golden gates was peaceful and untouched by the chaos that had ensued during the dinosaurs' rampage. From what Dipper could make out through the gates, the houses were large and fancy, definitely the kind of houses rich people lived in. They were all like small mansions. He could also see a large marble fountain sitting in the center of the roundabout just on the other side.

"I'll walk from here," Pacifica said.

"Oh, uh, okay." He had been distracted.

After hopping down from the horse, she paused and turned to look up at Dipper. "Um, I'm…sorry."

"Huh?" He had heard her, but it didn't quite register with him.

"I mean –" she blushed with embarrassment and looked away. "Thanks, I guess. You know, for not letting that stupid pterodactyl fly away with me for lunch."

"Oh, yeah. Sure. Y-You're welcome. I'm, uh, sorry too. You were just scared and all, I guess."

"Don't be," she muttered and turned to head for the gates.

"Um, maybe we'll see you later sometime?"

"Maybe. Bye, Dipper." She paused as the gates opened. "Oh, uh, so your sister has my cellphone number. Just saying. In case, like, you ever get a cellphone or…ugh, never mind!" She hurried through the gates.

"Oh, um… Bye…" He lingered there for a minute and watched her enter the gated community before having Angelo turn and walk back the way they had come.

July 25th (continued)

Today, I practically lived through Jurassic Park. Well, maybe not quite as extreme, but there were still dinosaurs, and they were still trying to eat us. The rest of those dinosaurs down in the mines melted out of their prisons and a few of them escaped the mines and started terrorizing the town. They were all from the cretaceous period. There were three pterodactyls (Pteranodons, I think), three Utahraptors, a triceratops, and a t-rex. I'm not sure which was the worst…

Mabel, Stan, and I were hanging out at the public pool where we met up with Wendy. After a while, we heard screaming and saw a bunch of people running away from something. Well, that something ended up being a pair of raptors. Really BIG raptors, too! Like, seven feet tall raptors! One of them chased us further into town and a third one jumped out to block us. We only survived them right there because a t-rex showed up and scared them off.

Then, as the t-rex was coming for us, Teeth showed up and jumped on its back, causing it to trip and crash into a building. Teeth picked us up and carried us away from it and up onto the rooftops. That's when we saw the pterodactyls. One was carrying a motorcycle while another was carrying the driver. We thought he was dead, but I think he's the guy Cupid and Amy saved (more on that in a bit). The third pterodactyl swooped down and picked up Pacifica.

Lucky for her, Teeth likes to eat stuff that's not actually food. Like boomerangs. And even luckier is that whatever he eats stays whole and undigested for a while (Ford was doing some experiments and discovered that Teeth's stomach only produces acid and digests every four hours on the hour). So, I chucked a boomerang at it and hit the pterodactyl in the back of the head. It dropped Pacifica and Teeth ran over so I could catch her. The pterodactyls didn't like that very much…

They chased us all the way to the edge of town where we had to take shelter in an abandoned fireworks factory. Unfortunately for us, Teeth cut his legs jumping the fence and the scent of blood attracted the raptors. Well, that and…probably my arguing with Pacifica…

Anyways, Teeth distracted them for us to get out and the fireworks started going off along with the stored gunpowder. The building started blowing up and we almost got caught in the blasts but Amy's horse had picked us up and thrown us out of the way. We thought Teeth was a goner in there, but Cupid showed up with Amy and Angelo and shot an arrow into the building that teleported Teeth out to us. He was cut, bleeding, and had some burns, but he ended up okay due to Amy's healing magic. Right now, he's outside gorging himself on a stew that Shade had cooked while we were gone. I gotta admit, the stew is amazing.

I ended up bringing Pacifica home on Angelo. It would have been nice…if the town wasn't destroyed and Pacifica wasn't mad at me and I wasn't only wearing swim shorts. Well, I guess she got over it towards the end, but still…

Oh, Cupid and Crusade brought all the dinosaurs to Telmak. Apparently, there's an area of Telmak where dinosaurs of all kinds live. Not just cretaceous dinosaurs. Well, they brought the ones that were alive… The raptors perished in the fireworks factory and the t-rex was apparently gored to death by the triceratops. Ouch. So, the survivors and the dinosaurs down in the mines include: one triceratops, three pterodactyls, one ankylosaurus, four aralosauruses, one Argentinosaurus, two carnotauruses, five edmontosauruses, seven gallimimuses, six oviraptors, four Parasaurolophuses, and one Spinosaurus. Some of them I'm not really sure how they all ended up together in the same place, but they claim that the continents used to be all connected so whatever. Weirder things have happened.

Bill showed up in the clearing riding the triceratops. He named it Becky. He wanted to keep it. Amy said no, but ended up letting him keep it anyway because he promised that Becky wouldn't trample or gore anyone. At least, not anyone that lives in the clearing. So, uh, now there's a triceratops grazing with the sheep. Bill really seems to like his new pet. Honestly, I think Amy ended up agreeing because she likes dinosaurs and liked the idea of having one as a pet.

Anyways, I'm exhausted from all the running and screaming today. I think I'm going to turn in early tonight.

To be continued…

Sadly, you will not be seeing more of Pacifica in this story until the sequel, where she will be a rather important character then.

Becky the triceratops. Lol
