I opened my eyes slowly as the sound of warning sirens filled my ears.

"What the?" I looked around the area for a moment to take in the scenery.

Everything is so...

I placed my hand on top of a building to my right that came up to my hip.

Small.

"What in the name of Godzilla?" I snickered at the comment as I looked over toward Lili who joined my side. "I feel like I'm on the set of one of those old King Kong movies!"

"Well, you are larger than life right now." I smirked as I patted my hand on top of the building.

"Oh ha ha, Aquato."

"What! It was a good one, you gotta agree!"

"IT'S GOGGALOR!" We snapped our attention toward a small creature on the ground before us. It looked exactly like the fish we had trapped in the real world. "AND HE'S GOT A GIRLFRIEND! EVERYONE RUN! Save yourself!"

"Goggalor?" Lili gave me a confused look as I felt a deep blush take over my cheeks. "What, did that fish just call me your girlfriend?"

Girlfriend? Really, fish brain? Put me on the spot there?

I simply shrugged with a nervous grin as a slight pink tint to Lili's cheeks appeared slowly.

"W-Whatever. Let's figure out what's going on here, shall we?" I nodded slightly as Lili took the lead further into the little city.

Scratch what I thought before, these fish bastards are going to be the death of me first.

"What even is this place?" Lili and I walked a few feet more into the city as a small tower's radio projections seemed to have answered my question.

"Good evening Lungfishopolis! Our loving home to the Citizens of Lungfishopolis and our great protector is known as Kochamara! This landscape consists of beautiful hills and greenery surrounding the centralized cityscape. The city itself is illuminated with the lights from towering skyscrapers and the neon signs of local lungfish nightclubs."

"Lungfish... nightclubs." I gave Lili a confused look before shaking my head like a wet dog. "Don't Need That image in my head. Nope! No thank you!" Lili just chuckled at my response before giving me a smirk.

"Is the terrifying Aquato scared of some fish in fishnets?" I made a gagging noise in response that only made Lili laugh wholeheartedly.

"When it comes to that kind, absolutely." I shook the thought out of my head once more before giving Lili a serious look. "But wait, they said something about a guy named Kochamara. What do you think is that?"

"Well if Coach was able to place a mental projection in Boyd's mind to control how he reacted and thought through hypnosis, I wouldn't doubt he did the same here. Maybe he made this after himself too." I nodded along as Lili's logic made complete sense to me.

"So that's this mind's Den Mother so to speak."

"Exactly! Find and beat them, then the brain is freed."

"Think the fish is going to pull a Boyd and try to burn shit down?"

"As long as it doesn't have its own Milkman sleeper agent in its mind here, no, I don't think so."

"Man I want to learn more about this all." I looked around the mental world for a moment as a curious smile took over my face. "If I could take classes on this stuff, I would be a sponge and soak up all the information I can!" I shot a smile at Lili who has a small smile of her own.

"You know, I can always ask my dad about having you join some of the classes at the Motherlobe." My eyes shot wide.

"Really?!"

"Totally." Lili acted nonchalantly as she leaned back to put her elbow on top of one of the buildings beside her. "I don't think he would mind a curious mind like your own wanting to join some classes."

"That would be so cool! Thanks, Lils!"

"Don't be thanking me yet." She gave a small giggle before standing straight again. "Haven't gotten you in yet!"

"Just the thought though! It means a lot, honestly." I gave her a sincere smile that seemed to have struck a chord with her.

"I-It's nothing." I felt my heart flutter as a slight pink tint took over her cheeks. "Don't mention it."

"But it means a lot to me." The words flowed out of me as I suddenly felt bashful by her side.

"It's what friends are for, right?"

Right.

I swallowed hard as I looked away from her to cast my gaze over the city of Lungfishopolis. A dull ache filled my chest that I tried to push down and ignore.

Friends.

"Back to business though." I turned my attention back toward Lili as the sound of a disaster siren was sounding off. "How do we help these people?"

"Find Kochamara and kick his ass?" I couldn't help but snicker at that as we moved further into the fish city. "Think if he's the city's 'protector' that if we cause enough hell, he'll appear?" I smirked wide as I realized that Lungfishopolis was surrounded by large amounts of water.

"I might have an idea." I nodded my head toward the water. "In Boyd's mind, we were investigators. In here, we're movie monsters. How about we act like real monsters and break down some big infrastructure? Beginning with a dam that most definitely controls the water here."

"Yes! Let's create some chaos!" I smiled wide as a mischievous look took over Lili's face. "Last one to the possible dam is a rotten egg!" Lili dashed forward as she followed the water stream I pointed out to her. I smiled as a cheerful laugh escaped her while the warning sirens from the fish people still blared.

No wonder I like her, she's just as crazy as I am.

I sprinted after her as my smile only grew.

Alright, Aquato! You have practiced being the world's monster, now have some fun with it!

"It's Goggalor! Run!" I gave a cheeky grin as Lili playfully shoved me as I reached her side.

"They seem to be afraid of you more than me!"

"Well, I am the great Goggalor!" I brought my hands up like they were claws as I shot Lili a mischievous grin. "Tremble in fear!" Lili rolled her eyes before shoving me once more.

"As if! I bet I'm scarier."

"Ah yes, the great Pigtailed D'yavol. So terrifying." I smirked as Lili just narrowed her eyes at me.

"Have no clue what you just called me but I know I should be at least slightly offended." I laughed joyfully as we came to a soft stop.

"Just a pigtailed devil is all!" I stopped laughing suddenly as I felt a small tap hitting my knee. "What the?" I turned my attention down to Lungfish who was shooting what looked like a small pistol at me.

"Great Goggalor! I demand your attention!" I gave him a curious look as he then cleared his voice suddenly. "I have valuable information for you."

"And what's that, little guy?"

"My people and I have realized that there is a great big radio tower beyond the lake by the prison. If you follow the river, it will bring you to the prison area and in turn, the route to the tower. The radio tower has been broadcasting mind control information to all the other Lungfish in the area. Take down the radio tower, take down the mind control."

"How are you aware of this?" Lili's voice joined us as the small Lungfish holstered his little gun.

"Because my group and I hate Kochamara!" He made a small gag noise after speaking the "hero's" name. "Anything that takes him and this world down, the better."

"So~." Lili drew out the world as she seemed to connect the information together. "You're a terrorist group." The fish stared at us silently before speaking suddenly.

"I will not agree or disagree with that statement."

"Mental terrorist in a fish's brain with a mind control tower." I shrugged as I turned my attention toward Lili. "Not the weirdest part of today."

"Milkman is still first place there," I smirked as Lili seemed to know exactly what I was going to say. "If you say anything about milk being delicious again, I will beat you with a stick!" I put my hands up in defense.

"I said nothing!"

"Uh-huh." I chuckled to myself before looking over at the fish.

"So you keep bringing up this prison."

"Yes! I desire for you to help me break into that prison, free my brothers, and then help us take over the tower!" I shrugged once more before looking at Lili.

"Change in plans?"

"Change in plans." Lili smiled wide as I turned toward the fish once more.

"You got yourself a deal, fish man!" I bent down and lent out my hand and the fish jumped into it instantly. I quickly lifted him up and placed the fish on my shoulder. "Let's roll!" Lili nodded along as we continued to follow up the river. This time, with the goal of breaking down a prison than just causing pure chaos. I cracked my knuckles as we went through the city side by side.

Time for a jailbreak.
