The dragon-tamer and the ranger stared down the legendary right before them, both running through different possibilities of how to deal with the situation at hand. Before they could up with a single solution, an intrusive, foreign, powerful presence breaks into their thoughts. They mentally float, losing themselves and their sense of reality. All they could see were a series of utterly chaotic and epileptic emotions, colors, and sounds. There was no finesse behind them, just raw psychic power. Each felt as if their heads were about to explode, their consciousness rapidly disconnecting from their subconscious, being reduced to mere savage animals.

For a brief moment, it all stopped. An otherworldly object injected itself into their bodies and dragged both of their minds back to reality forcefully. They regained their lucidity, experiencing all of the mental attacks again in a second. They saw their pokemon-Lance's Dragapult and Adam's Zoroark and Alakazam- standing near to them in a protective manner, the legendary behind them watching with a sort of caution. Adam's pokemon helped him and Lance stand whilst Lepia faced the legendary with scorn, it simply redirected the direction in which the Lava was erupting from straight up at it to spreading into smaller beams that diverted into various spots in the sky.

Alakazam produced a pink dome that protected the group, but transparent enough to see the mayhem around them in full. Zoroark clung to his trainer and ushered Lepia to do the same in a foreign language to her and for reasons unknown. The dome began to fade into and out of full color and transparency, but Lance recognized the signs of teleportation and stood up to announce.

"Adam, save yourself and the other people on the island. I'll deal with this." Lance glanced at Adam before returning his gaze back to the legendary. Adam and his pokemon looked at Lance with worry in their eyes. The dragon-tamer's silence quieted all their worries. The dome shrank to only envelop Adam, Alakazam, and Zoroark. It began to fade again.

"You're doing god's work here soldier. I salute you-" Adam and his team teleported away before he could do such. It was only Lance, Lepia, and the demon above the still-spewing volcano.

He released all of his team except for his adolescent dragons. They all glared and growled at the false deity, they need not be psychics to know this was a legendary. Fafnir and Heilong stood alongside Lepia, Vara and Gaia behind Lance, and Desmo in the air.

"Put out the volcano. Make sure it cannot erupt anymore. Hit it with a gravewalker or ghost attack. Assist Lepia. Don't worry about me." Although he directed his commands to no one in particular, his dragons already knew exactly what their part was.

Fafnir and Desmo flew into the sky on opposite sides of the volcano as Heilong summoned a great rainstorm with sharp raindrops and massive dark clouds, allowing Lepia to enter into the shadows of the clouds themselves and granting her essentially infinite speed. Gaia dived into the ground by forming a hole and brought Vara with her. All of them were visible from their draconic aura obtained from dragon dance.

Black smoke was formed as cold rain collided with the lava, quickly turning it into blunt pieces of obsidian. Thunder surged throughout the entire storm, illuminating the purple and white structure of the legendary. The beam of energy coming from the volcano still pierced through the black dome as it diminished to smaller and smaller sizes until it was just a string, then no more. The legendary was just a mere shadow now, only its blue eyes visible. Then it moved.

Just as, Fafnir and Desmo fired off various pulses that easily matched the legendary in size. A colorful array of orbs flew towards it, each great in size and speed, and all looked to crash into it with enough force to kill any normal pokemon. Only, they stopped right before they were meant to hit it, fruitless inches away from its body and lighting up its whole body. Each orb turned purple and grew several exponents in power and mass, making them the same berth and length as Lance's biggest dragons.

The orbs moved barely as multiple several directed lightning strikes came crashing down unto the legendary, blocked only by a turquoise shield generated above the legendary. Regardless, the thunder persisted. The legendary grew bored and launched all of the orbs back to their sender. They hit nothing.

Suddenly, three massive hyperbeams from all angles assaulted the legendary from all angles at point-blank range. A bright white ball formed as all three attacks were mixed with each other that lit up nearly everything in sight, only for the frustrated legendary to jump out of the attacks unscathed. From its three bulbous fingers jutted out psychic beams aimed towards each dragon that could encompass their whole form. Desmo flew away at Mach-speeds, Lepia returned to the shadows, Fafnir was not so lucky. The faint blue aqua structure of protect was barely seen by Lance just as it and Fafnir were engulfed in a purple light.

The light disappeared just as Lance heard an anguishing mental scream coming from the legendary, he glanced back to see Lepia and Desmo engaged in a close-combat dance with the legendary, attacks and moves flying all around, all dodged or deflected, their streaks lighting up the sky. The legendary grew more and more frustrated as its attempted strikes missed and kept missing, and so they grew larger and larger, quicker and quicker, fiercer and fiercer.

The process repeated until the legendary had enough and unleashed a pulse wave made from pure energy that shook the air, broke the ground, and broke the rain. It was brighter than the sun as it caught the two flying dragons, engulfing them in its brilliance. Before Heilong, Lance, and the rest of his dragons could react, they were engulfed too.

A mishmash of colors, sounds, and smells molested Lance's senses, rendering him completely paralyzed to witness the pure show of the physical interpretation of insanity and madness. He felt his mind devolving into a simpler and feebler and weaker at seeing the impossible arrangements of the reality before him. Barely, he could hear the strained shrieks of his dragons over the infestations of sound, pained from having their eardrums obliterated, Desmo especially so.

All of it stopped, though froze would be the more appropriate word. Lance was stuck glaring at the alien illustrations imprinted onto reality. Lance noticed- or what he thought was- his dragons stuck in place, deformed like broken models in a glitchy game, their faces expressing agony and agony only. Unexpectedly, he picked up the faint footsteps of someone close, humming an indecipherable yet familiar tune, though in this situation it was more eerie than friendly. Something about avoiding a poltergeist, his burst ears managed to pick up.

He felt a hand snatch Zmiy's, and he wanted to retaliate but he could not move, an old memory reappeared. He heard the hand pressing the pokeball's button and the sound of it releasing Zmiy. Each second felt incredibly slow and anxious as Lance attempted to decipher what was happening. Before he could to a conclusion, reality flashed back to its original form and Lance saw an utterly black gigantic beam of a void beam erupting from where he once stood. He noticed his entire team laying unconscious surrounding the eruption, though they appeared to be strangely undamaged.

The beam rapidly carved itself into three long and huge snake-like structures with draconic heads, the left one shaped like a Chinese dragon, the right one European, and the middle one traditional. They bellowed to the legendary, their voice alone bearing weight upon Lance, still atop the now dormant volcano, though Lance's ears heard nothing but a painful screeching that came with a burst ear. After what seemed to be an excruciatingly long time, the legendary disappeared the instant lightning struck. Lance went on one knee as the three dragon heads shrank and shrank as he grew weaker and weaker, slowly collapsing to the ground.

Before he could fall, he saw the blurry but still obviously enormous visage of Zmiy, now a Hydreigon, adapting to his new form and awkwardly rushing up on Lance, worry all over their faces. Zmiy used his hands to support Lance, which he rejected as he laid on the rough ground in tire.
