Atop a tall building in Los Angeles, Cloak Bot was busy repairing himself. Its last battle with Anne had caused more damage than it had anticipated. Resulting in the loss of some of its armor on its left side, including its left arm. It's right leg also suffered some structural damage, forcing Cloak Bot to remove it in favor of replacing it with something else. Now it had welded metal plates to the missing spots on its armor, replaced its leg and attaching a buzzsaw for the foot, added nail gun, a tire for its right shoulder pauldron, and the claw of a construction machine to replace its left arm. It wasn't pretty, but it was the best Cloak Bot could do. It's drone attack failed miserably. Cloak Bot had hoped to catch its target off guard, but in the end, she managed to fend it off once again.
Cloak Bot pointed its nail gun attachment towards some set up targets and fired a few rounds. The nails traveled at high velocity and pierced through some bottles and a watermelon. The assassin took great pleasure in that, strange as it was. Cloak Bot was going to savor killing Anne when it got its chance. For making it have to make these ridiculous repairs. Just then, one of the orbs on its left shoulder pauldron glowed. The orb detached and opened up to create a hard-light holographic screen in front of the assassin, and on that screen was King Andrias.
{What's good, Cloak Bot?! Checking in to see how things are going. Did you get the book?} Andrias asked.
Cloak Bot reached off to his left and raised up a book that read, "Cynthia Coven and The Prisoner of Boca Raton Vol. 3". {Book secured.}
{Why that's great! W-Wait!} Andrias paused and moved closer to the screen as he looked at the book. {Hold on! That-That's book three! You rusty bucket! I need book TWO!}
{Book two out of stock.}
{Out of – what – did you just go to ONE store? You're telling me there's only ONE bookstore in that entire city? Oh, Olms have mercy.} Andrias shook his head as he sighed in frustration. {Next you're gonna tell me Anne isn't dead yet.}
Cloak Bot looked down at the ground for a moment and then answered, {Still working on it.}
{Oooh, you're still working on it? Even though I gave you a piece of the Master's power so you could effectively counter her abilities and kill her. I see, I see. Well then, looks like we'll have to up the stakes,} said Andrias as he pushed a button on his wrist mounted device.
As soon as the evil newt king pushed it, three panels of armor slid open on Cloak Bot's chest, and when they did, they revealed, what looked like, a timer that was set at sixty minutes. Cloak Bot looked down at its chest with confusion as the timer started a countdown.
{You now have one hour to destroy that kid, or the bomb planted in your chest will destroy you.}
Cloak Bot immediately shot to its feet, it searched its data banks, but it could not find anything about the bomb.
{Right now, you're probably wondering why you have no knowledge of the bomb? Well, that's because I never put in your memory. I also put a blind spot in your systems diagnostics to prevent you from finding it. Cool, now that we have all that established. Andrias out!}
Andrias ironically made a peace sign, winked, stuck out his tongue, and ended the transmission. The orb merged back together before returning to Cloak Bot's shoulder. The three panels closed and now Cloak Bot was on a time limit, it had to find Anne before the bomb went off. But where was it to look? All the times Cloak Bot has found Anne was by either searching for her energy signature or listening in on her communications. But even then, Cloak Bot had not found where Anne lived. But how? How was it going to find her before time ran out?
Just then, Cloak Bot's sensors went off. On his screen he saw an alert that read, [UNKNOWN FROBOT UNIT DETECTED]. How could that be? Cloak Bot was the only Amphibian robot unit in this dimension. How was it that there was another? Did King Andrias send another unit in case Cloak Bot failed? No, that couldn't be the case, the ID signature read as "unknown", that was not by accident. The only other explanation could be that…
Cloak Bot smirked. Its sensors immediately triangulated the signal of the unknown Frobot unit and showed it appearing in a residential area. Anne Boonchuy would die today.
Something phenomenal happened the other day. That being that Polly managed to fix Frobo, and made some new friends named Ally and Jess, also known on ViewTube as the "I. T. Gals", just two girlfriends who really love robots, so their slogan says. Some things, unfortunately, happened and now Frobo was reduced back to being just a head. But the good news is he was still functioning even without a body, so now he was back. Which was a relief for Anne, she did miss their robot companion, but Polly missed him even more. It was strangely amazing how the little pollywog managed to rebuild him out of some junk in their garage. Anne was becoming more impressed with Polly by the day, not only has she picked up how to speak fluid Thai, but she somehow became a technology expert overnight.
It made Anne wonder if Polly was always this smart? She was always an aggressive little tadpole, not one for shying away from a fight or starting one. Perhaps now that she was in a world that wasn't constantly trying to kill her, she could focus those aggressive tendencies into constructive efforts, like, well, learning a new language and robotics, apparently. Not to say that Polly didn't still have her aggressive tendencies, just that the extra energy was now focused into something else.
Earth has changed the Plantars, and for better, she thought. Just like how Amphibia has changed Anne.
For example, before she went to Amphibia, Anne would've never volunteered to iron and put away the laundry. And yet, she did. While the Plantars and her parents were relaxing in the living room, Anne was busy at the ironing board pressing the clothes and folding them neatly and put them away.
Before Amphibia, Anne would've made all kinds of excuses to get out of having to throw out the trash. But now, she hefted the bag with ease, went to the front door, and superspeed zipped to the trash can and back to the front door without anyone noticing it, tossing the garbage away.
Before Amphibia, if you asked her to clean the dishes, she would've said she couldn't hear you and put up the volume on whatever it was she had on just to avoid it. Now, Anne was in the kitchen, apron on, washing the dishes. Of course, with her parents in the other room, she could use her superspeed to get the job done a lot quicker.
Yeah, superpowers made chores go a lot faster.
Anne ended her little display of maturity as she broke out a coaster and slipped it under Hop Pop's mug the moment me placed it on the coffee table.
Oum had to admit, she really was impressed by the growth of her daughter. Her time spent in that other world has really made her grow up. Even with some of the dangers she had mentioned, Anne seemed to become a much better person than before. Although she was still unsure of what her daughter wanted to become when she was older, the person she has become now eased her mind a bit when it came to Anne being able to apply herself.
"You know, Anne, it really is remarkable how much you have grown," said Oum.
"Aw, thanks, Mom," said Anne as she blushed.
"Yeah, I mean, you used to be so irresponsible. Like 'change the grade on your report card' irresponsible," said Bee.
Anne chuckled nervously as she replied, "Oh, uh, heh-heh. Didn't think you guys knew about that."
"We checked online," Oum informed.
Anne facepalmed. Of course, you did.
Oum got up from the couch and approached her daughter as she continued, "But you really changed. And you have been up-front and honest with us this whole time."
Anne and Bee winced when she said that.
"R-Right…Up-front and honest."
"We're just so proud of you. Come here sweetie."
"Bring it in," said Bee.
Anne was then enveloped in a hug from both of her parents. The guilt was building up, the longer this hug continued. It was suffocating. "Hey! I'm gonna go get some coffee ice cream! Anyone want any?!" Anne quickly broke the hug and looked to Sprig. "Sprig?"
"Eh, I'm good–"
"Great!"
"Whoa!"
Anne quickly scooped up Sprig and ran to the kitchen. Once there, she plopped the pink frog onto the counter and began pacing the room.
"Hey, what gives?" Sprig asked, annoyed.
Anne dragged her hands down her face as she groaned and said, "I can't do this anymore!"
"What? Eat coffee ice cream? I agree. It's pretty risky after 5:00," said Sprig as he went to open the freezer.
Anne pushed the freezer door closed as she corrected him. "No! My folks! I still haven't told them about anything! Andrias, the honking invasion, The Night, my powers, or the robot hunting us, Marcy and Sasha, me with Marcy and Sasha…any of it!" Anne sighed heavily after listing all the things she has been lying about. "That robot came close to hurting my parents, and a lot of innocent people. It was one thing when it was just after me, but it attacked all those people just for being near me. And then there's someone or something here on Earth that's trying to capture me, too! I'm putting them in danger, and they don't even know it. What if next time, they meet who ever this person is who's trying to get me, and don't know to be careful?! Or what if that robot decides to just straight up attack the restaurant while I'm not around?!"
Sprig had to admit, she did have a point. Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy being in the dark did pose a threat to their safety. "But you said this was the only way they'd be okay with any of this."
"I know…I know…" Anne leaned against the counter as she made her decision. "Enough's enough. At some point all of this is going to blow up in my face. I need to get ahead of it. I know this might not end too well when it comes to my Mom, but…after everything lately, I can't keep risking their safety because of a convenient lie. I'm going to tell them, right now."
Sprig hopped off the counter and said, "Okay. Just know that we'll always have your back, Anne."
"I know." Anne knelt down and hugged Sprig. "Thank you."
Sprig hugged her back and after a moment they ended their embrace and headed back into the living room. The pink frog child walked alongside her, ready to be there as her moral and possibly emotional support for what she was about to do.
"Mom, Dad. There's something I have to tell you," said Anne.
"What is it, sweetie?" Oum asked.
Bee tensed up, he had a feeling what this might be about, and was preparing ways in his head to help ease the shock of what Anne was about to reveal to them.
Anne glanced down at Sprig, who gave her a smile and a thumbs up. With that encouragement she started, "Well, the thing is…"
Suddenly, the entire house shook, nearly knocking the TV over and the knickknacks on the shelves, but it did launch everyone five inches into the air before dropping back down.
"What the heck was that?!" Anne exclaimed.
Anne and the Plantars immediately rushed to the window, and when they did, it was none other than their old friend, Cloak Bot. The assassin robot saw them in the window as its eyes glowed red.
"Anne, what's going on?" Oum asked.
"What was that noise?" Bee asked.
"GET DOWN!" Anne yelled as her eyes glowed bright blue.
Within seconds Anne rushed towards her parents and got them out of the way just in time for Cloak Bot's claw arm to smash through the window. Now with a gaping hole in the living room, Cloak Bot stepped in, scanning the area for Anne. Anne turned around and quickly shot a bolt of lightning from her right hand, blasting the robot in the chest and sending it back outside.
"Anne, what was–?!" Oum gasped.
"No time! Everyone upstairs!" Anne ordered.
Oum, Bee, and the Plantars hurried up the stairs as Anne brought up the rear to make sure Cloak Bot didn't follow.
"Quick! Into my workout room," said Oum.
Once they were upstairs, Anne dipped back into her powers and dashed from the bottom of the stairs and in the workout room, slamming the door behind them. "Okay, you can hide out here while I…uuuuuuuuuuummmm…"
Inside the "workout room" were a bunch of mannequins depicting Anne in different varying professions, drawings of her getting high grades, a potted plant that was pruned and trimmed to resemble her likeness, knitted dolls, lamps painted with her likeness, poems, statues made of different materials, a picture of her hung above the window with a banner that read, "I Miss You", and an assortment of other things that were bordering on disturbing. On the back of the door was a sign that read, "Anne Away 89 Days".
Anne slowly turned to her mother and said, "Mom…this is not a workout room!"
"Oh yes, it is. When I thought you ran away, it's where I 'work out' all my stress," Oum explained.
Anne walked up to one of the mannequins that was dressed like her as a doctor and began scrutinizing its appearance. "Wait a second. Why is this one dressed like a doctor?"
"A mom can dream, can't she?!"
"Why do I get the feeling I'm not living up to your expectations?" Anne deadpanned.
The floor burst apart as Cloak Bot entered, the mechanical assassin was ready to finally kill his quarry, but then it paused. Cloak Bot's sensors were starting to become overloaded as it registered multiple Anne Boonchuys. {Multiple Anne Boonchuys confirmed. Eliminating with extreme prejudice.}
"WHAT?!" Bee exclaimed.
"It's after you?!" Oum questioned.
Anne held still as the robot lashed out with its construction claw arm, but instead of hitting her, it struck the doctor mannequin, sending it crashing through the window where it landed in the front yard. Apparently, the machine meant "extreme prejudice" as it leapt out of the hole it made and down to where the mannequin was and began wailing on it with zero mercy. Oum and Bee watched in horror as the machine was practically tearing apart that mannequin, which was supposed to be Anne, that thing was trying to murder their daughter.
"Oookay, yeah, there's a couple of things I haven't told you guys," Anne confessed.
"You think," said Bee.
"Look, I need you guys to get into the van, take the Plantars, and drive out of here," said Anne.
"What?! No! We're not leaving you here!" Oum stated. "We're leaving together!"
"It's after me, not you! Just get out of here!" Anne argued.
"NO! I'm not losing you again!"
"Oum!" Anne and Oum looked at Bee who had a serious look on his face. "Anne can handle this."
"Excuse me?!" Oum exclaimed.
"Dad?"
"Anne, I already know. Just change already while you have time!" Bee ordered.
Anne's eyes widened; he knew she was a Kamen Rider. She wanted to inquire further, but right now she didn't have the time. Anne stepped back further into the room, as her eyes glowed blue and a circlet of lightning appeared around her waist. Within seconds the MetamorphRing appeared around her waist. Anne looked directly at her father, and he gave her a nod. Taking a deep breath, Anne spoke the word, "Henshin."
The Thai teen pressed down on the hip devices of her Driver, wrapping herself in a dome of lightning. Oum gasped in horror and was about to run towards the dome to save her daughter, but Bee managed to hold her back.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! ANNE'S–!"
"Alright," Bee interrupted. "She's alright. Keep looking."
Oum looked back at the dome as it seemed to get bigger. After another moment, the dome shattered and revealed Kamen Rider Amp. The older Thai woman's eyes widened when she gazed upon the Rider. She didn't understand what she was seeing. "W-W-What happened?! Where's my Anne?! What did you do to her?!"
Amp took a step forward and placed her right hand on her chest as she said, "It's me, Mom. I am Anne. I'm older and I sound a bit different. But it's me under this armor."
Bee released Oum and allowed her walk up to the hero. Oum reached up and placed both of her hands against the sides of Amp's helmet as she looked into the blue compound eyes. "Anne…is…is that really you under there?"
"It is. I…I have a lot to explain, I know I do. But right now, you all need to run. That thing's only after me, but I don't want to take any chances. I'm going to lure it away from here. After that, leave!"
Oum shook her head. "No! Anne! Don't go out there! That thing will kill you!"
Amp grabbed ahold of Oum's wrist and gently pushed them away. "Sorry, Mom." Lightning arced off Amp's body before she disappeared and reappeared at the hole the robot made. "But I have to finish this."
Oum just realized that Amp had vanished and was now at the hole. The older Thai woman reached out with her right hand as she yelled, "AAAAANNNNNE!"
Amp jumped out the window and delivered a flying kick right to the back of Cloak Bot. The assassin robot was caught off guard as it was sent crashing into the front yard of the house across the street, face first. Cloak Bot rose from the small crater that it made and turned to face the hero. {Kamen Rider Amp. Target confirmed.}
"Alright robot. I'm getting tired of this hunting me and threatening innocent people. So, let's end this, once and for all!" Amp declared as she got into a ready stance.
Cloak Bot released the black ooze from within its body, transforming it into its Fallen Form. Its internal HUD screen showed its remaining time which read, "9:59" Less than ten minutes, that's how much time Cloak Bot had to kill Amp before the bomb went off. {I concur. Let us end this hunt today.}
Amp smirked under her helmet as she raised her right hand into the air and called out, "COME! MACHINE STORMER 2!"
The bicycle in the garage suddenly came to life and burst free from the backdoor. The bike jumped the fence and rolled to the front as Amp's lightning energy shot towards it and immediately transformed it into Machine Stormer 2. Needless to say, Oum and Bee, who were still watching from the second story, were shocked by all of this.
Amp quickly mounted her bike and said, "Catch me if you can you rust bucket!"
The hero of lightning twist the throttle and took off down the road. The Fallen Assassin balanced itself on its new buzzsaw leg and fired off some thrusters from its back that shot it forward to chase after Amp.
"What…just happened…?" Oum asked, stunned.
"Anne will explain everything later," said Bee. "For now, we need to leave while that thing's gone."
Bee reached out to grab his wife's wrist, but she quickly backed away as she noticed something off about this.
"Why aren't you more surprised by this?! Our daughter just turned into…into…something! Is riding some kind of futuristic motorcycle! And has a robot that's trying to kill her chasing after her! And I know I'm not as shocked as you, but there is a reason for that! But for now, we have to get out of here before it decides to come back to try and hurt us to get to Anne! Think of them, too! Anne trusted us with their safety, and she can't fight properly if she's not sure that all of us are safe!)" Bee stated as he pointed towards the Plantars.
Oum glanced down at the Plantars, she also found it odd that they weren't surprised about this as well. "You three, you knew about this? Didn't you?"
"Mrs. Boonchuy, Ah promise we'll explain all of this, Anne included," said Hop Pop.
Oum sighed frustratingly and nodded her agreement to run.
The roar of Machine Stormer 2 filled the air as Amp weaved through traffic, and in some cases hopped and rode along the buildings. She made sure that Cloak Bot wasn't too far behind her, she needed to make sure that it was solely focused on her, and it looks like it was.
"Okay, got its attention, now…what the heck is step two?"
Honestly, she had no idea how to fight the Fallen Assassin. It had countermeasures for all her forms, including her Super Form. The only thing it couldn't fight against was her Final Form, Justice Mode. Unfortunately, Amp had yet to figure out how to tap into the power that allowed her to enter that form. This go around, the assassin seemed more serious and determined than before.
Just then a violet projectile flew right past her head.
"Whoa! What the hell!" Amp looked over her shoulder and saw that Cloak Bot had deployed a new weapon.
The weapon was box shaped, with a rounded barrel, and a rectangular shaped ammo clip that had both sides glowing violet. Its Fallen power had morphed the nail gun into a more deadly weapon than it was to begin with. Cloak Bot fired several rounds at Amp, but Amp took invasive action, dodging the laser spikes that narrowly pierced her. However, she noticed that some of those spikes either pierced through the hoods of some cars, through walls, or through windows.
"Dammit, times like these I really wish I was back in Amphibia! A whole lot of trees and barely anyone around," said Amp.
Amp spotted a worksite that looked vacant and drove straight towards it. She crashed through the front gates and came to a skidding stop below the steel girder frame of the building. Amp dismounted Machine Stormer 2 and gave it permission to leave the area.
Cloak Bot wasted little time in jumping over one of the girders and coming down with its modified construction claw. Amp jumped straight up just as the metal monster struck the ground where she was at, creating a small explosion that formed a crater two feet deep and three feet wide. Violet energy glowed from that arm as it looked up at her with almost vengeful eyes.
"Wow, dude, you look really ticked off today," Amp commented.
{You must be eliminated, at all costs.}
Cloak Bot jumped straight up and used its modified buzzsaw leg. The blades glowed bright violet as it threw an upwards kick, forcing Amp to roll to the right as the blades sliced through the girder as easily as air. The dark robot twisted around in the air as it latched onto another girder up above and used it to vault itself straight towards Amp, leading with its cutting leg. Amp once again moved with great speed, but Cloak Bot's construction arm managed a lariat maneuver, catching Amp by the neck as it dragged her towards another steel girder and slammed her against it back first.
Amp coughed violently from the impact, but Cloak Bot wasn't done. The metal monster cocked back that same arm and slammed it into her midsection. An explosive energy blast was released, throwing Amp away to the left as she impacted against a girder, headfirst before hitting the ground below. Amp groaned painfully from the hits. She hurriedly ran for it as the metal monster started rapid firing its laser spikes at her.
This thing really is serious this time! He's out for blood, thought Amp. Alright, let's try this!
Amp pressed down on the right hip device and entered Poison Form. Amp jumped straight up into the air and laced her hands with the poison plasma energy. Taking quick stock of her surroundings, Amp began firing streams of acidic poison at different spots where the girders connected. Cloak Bot saw her and began firing both his laser spikes and laser eyes beams at the same time. Amp used the girders for cover as she seemingly returned fire. At the same time, she used Cloak Bot's shots to hit certain spots that she couldn't above.
Once all the spots were hit, Amp vaulted off one of the girders and aimed straight for Cloak Bot. The Fallen Assassin readied itself to attack her, but Amp just missed him as she landed on the ground. Cloak Bot jumped off the girder and went down to meet her.
{You missed,} it said.
"You think so?"
Suddenly, the entire structure rumbled and groaned. Cloak Bot looked up just in time for several steel girders to fall down right on top up of it. The metal beams clanked very loudly as they hit the ground. Several more started to fall and Amp quickly got out of the structure just as the entire thing fell down right on top of the metal monster, burying it in dozens of tons of steel.
"I apologize to the construction workers whose hard work I just completely ruined," said Amp.
However, as she gave that apology, several thumps could be heard ringing from the depths of that pile. In a matter of seconds an explosion of energy blasted a hole through the girder pile and out from it came Cloak Bot. Despite its Fallen power up, Amp's plan seemed to have caused it some damage as parts of its Fallen body were cracking.
"I think I might be able to win this. I just need to keep the pressure up!" Amp concentrated and the MetamorphRing transformed into the MetamorphRing TRI. The hero of lightning pressed down on the devices and transformed into Kamen Rider Amp Raging Heart: Vengeance Mode. "Round two big guy!"
Amp summoned forth her sword, Saipha, and charged straight for Cloak Bot. The metal monster raised its left arm and dashed for Amp. The two fighters clashed, creating a shockwave of violet and blue lightning. Amp flew into the air with the robot on her tail, shooting off more laser spikes. But Amp used Saipha to deflect the spikes into the air, doing her best to keep them from hitting a plane or the people down below.
I need to fight him someplace where there are less people, thought Amp.
She longed for the huge forests and empty fields where she didn't have to worry so much about innocent bystanders, but then again, there might be one place. Amp looked in the direction of where she remembered the junkyard was and decided to head there. There was plenty of junk that could act as a buffer for her and the robot's attacks, and there would be hardly anyone there to begin with.
Amp flew straight through the air and towards the junkyard. Cloak Bot followed after her as well, firing its laser eyes and laser spike cannon. Amp kept deflecting the whole way there, but Amp was about ready to get into this. The azure warrior flipped around in midair and took off for the Fallen Assassin. Amp landed a kick square in its chest and flipped her sword around, ready to stab it. But Cloak Bot used its extending arm to grab ahold of Amp's waist and tossed her off of it.
Cloak Bot jetted higher into the air and appeared right in front of Amp. The hero of lightning balled up her left fist and punch the metal monster in the face, followed by a knee strike to its chest. Amp gripped Saipha with both her hands and came down with an overhead strike, but Cloak Bot grabbed the sword at the last second and raised its laser spike cannon, firing three spikes at close range against her chest. The invisible electrostatic shield managed to absorb the resulting explosion that pushed Amp away from Cloak Bot, but she could see the shield had gotten weaker from that last attack.
Amp was about to go in for another attack but was beaten to it when Cloak Bot lashed out with its right arm and grabbed Amp by the neck. The Fallen Assassin used the negative charge of Amp's lightning, electrifying her body and causing the hero to yell loudly into the air. The metal monster reeled her back in like a fish on a hook, and when she was in range, Cloak Bot thrust out with its right leg and struck Amp in the chest with its buzzsaw. The blade whirred to life as it began slicing at the invisible shield on her body. Cloak Bot turned its thrusters upward, sending both Amp and the robot straight down towards the ground.
The two impacted right in the middle of the junkyard, creating a five-foot-wide crater. Amp was on her back as the Fallen Assassin pressed its energized buzzsaw leg into Amp's chest. The shield had shattered and now sparks began to fly from the armor, Amp was about to raise her sword, but Cloak Bot smashed its left construction claw arm down on Amp's forearm, causing her to scream in pain again. She was going to try and use her left forearm blade, but yet again, Cloak Bot used its other arm to keep her pinned. The Fallen Assassin was going to keep at this until the blade pierced right through and would finally end Amp's life.
{Your end is now,} said Cloak Bot.
Amp was getting worried now, she could see the armor forming a gash the longer this went. She couldn't use lightning on the monster, or it would just absorb it, and she was effectively pinned down. Was this really how she was going to die?
"HEY! LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE!"
The Fallen Assassin, who was too engrossed in its work, didn't register Oum's voice until the last second, but even then, it was too late. A sharp metal stop sign post pierced through the right side of Cloak Bot's chest. Black ooze started to leak out from the hole that she made, and not by Cloak Bot's own volition.
{Error. Error. Containment compromised.}
Oum watched as the robot began to stumble off Amp, with some of the ooze retracting away from some of its body. The older Thai woman picked up a discarded sledgehammer and yelled as she came down with the hammer and smashed it right through the unprotected spot on Cloak Bot's right arm, effectively severing it from the machine. Oum raised the sledgehammer again and struck the top of Cloak Bot's head with it, throwing the metal monster into a daze.
The Plantars and Bee were watching all this from outside the crater, and the trio of frogs were impressed by how Oum handled herself.
"Wow, were you at all surprised by that display of ferocity, Mr. Boonchuy?" Hop Pop asked.
Bee stared blankly down at Hop Pop and gave only a simple answer, "No."
Once it had stumbled far enough away, Oum looked down at Amp and asked, "Anne, are you alright?!"
Amp managed to get back to her feet as she looked at Cloak Bot and back to her mother. "Better now, Mom. Thanks. I got it from here." Amp twirled her sword around as she dashed straight for the metal monster and drove her sword right through the midsection of Cloak Bot. "Gotcha!" Lightning erupted from the sword as it blasted right through Cloak Bot's midsection. With that same lightning charged blade, Amp sliced in a circle, holding Saipha with her outstretched right hand as Cloak Bot fell to the ground, it's severed halves falling onto the ground with a hard "THUD!"
"It's over, assassin!"
Cloak Bot released its mocking laughter as it retorted, {It is over. But not only for me.} The chest plate of Cloak Bot opened and revealed the timer, but this time, the Fallen Assassin was going to play for keeps. It used the last bit of its power to reform its whole upper body into a floating sphere, repurposing the laser spikes to turn it into a floating ball of death.
"IS THAT A BOMB?!"
"A BOMB?!" Bee's voice echoed.
Amp looked up and saw her father and the Plantars.
{Explosive yield combined with internal dark core, approximately fifteen megatons.}
"What?! What does that mean?! How bad is that?!" Sprig asked.
Bee dropped to his knees. "That'll take out all of LA…and then some…"
"ALL?!" Polly exclaimed. "Can't we just get in the van and run?!"
"There's no escaping something that massive…"
"How do you know?!" Sprig asked.
"You watch enough anime, movies, and Toku shows, trust me, you know," Bee answered.
Amp's eyes widened when she heard her father. This monster was willing to take out an entire city just to kill her. Her family, the people she loved most dearly, it wanted to take them all away from her. Amp's armor began to crack as lightning surged off her body. The cracks continued to spider web along her armor, and within seconds a bright blue light erupted from Amp, blinding the others for a moment. When the light faded, Amp had entered her Final Form, Raging Heart: Justice Mode. Her energy scarf fluttered in the air as her aura flare around her head raged.
Cloak Bot launched the laser spikes at Amp. But with a thunderclap, Amp disappeared. Multiple violet explosions occurred in the air between Amp and Cloak Bot and all of the spikes were destroyed before anyone could blink and reappeared in the same spot she was before.
"You will NOT hurt anyone!"
Amp disappeared with a thunderclap again, and when she reappeared, she was right in front of Cloak Bot, surprising the dark robot. The hero of lightning threw a kick, launching the sphere into the air like a rocket propelled soccer ball. Another thunderclap went off as Amp flew into the air and appeared in the flight path of her foe. The hero of lightning twirled her sword around as it began to shift. The blade of Saipha split down the middle and parted, creating a four-inch gap. The azure Rider raised her sword to the air as a bolt of lightning struck it, taking the lightning and forging it into a blade that was ten feet long and four feet wide.
When Cloak Bot appeared right in front of her, she said, "Going up?"
Amp kicked Cloak Bot once again, sending it higher into the air, to the point that the sky started to show stars. The symbol of Amp appeared before her, as Amp charged her power into the sword. The hero of lightning slashed through the symbol, making the energy lace the entirety of the lightning blade as she grabbed her weapon with both hands and released a mighty war cry as she slashed the air in the direction of Cloak Bot. A huge lightning crescent was launched straight for the Fallen Assassin, with no body left to fight with or maneuver, the robot could only wait until the blade eventually…
{Impact, imminent…}
The blade sliced right through Cloak Bot's spherical body, and through the timer.
Amp returned back to the ground as multiple thunderclaps sounded off in the sky before she eventually landed. The moment she did, the sky lit up as a huge, practically nuclear level, explosion went off in the sky high, high above the skies of California. It was an explosion that could be seen for miles around, and strong enough to part the clouds some miles below. When it was over, the light of the detonation faded into nothingness, and so ended the terror of Cloak Bot.
Oum and Bee now looked upon their daughter, who was glowing with a bright blue aura and wearing silver armor and a white mesh underneath. She looked like a celestial being who had descended from on high, and she technically did, in the form of lightning. It was hard to believe that their thirteen-year-old daughter was able to wield such terrifying power.
"Anne?" Oum and Bee called out.
Amp started walking towards her parents, but her movements were sluggish, and she was stumbling to back and forth as she said, "Mom…Dad…I have so much to tell you…"
Her parents quickly rushed to her as they saw their daughter about to fall to the ground. Before they caught her, lightning wrapped around Anne's body, changing her back into civilian form just as she fell into their arms. Bee and Oum looked at each other for a moment before hugging their daughter close to them.
"Oh, Anne," Oum whispered.
Meanwhile, Cassandra and Keisuke were watching all these events unfold from their hidden command center. The camouflaged drone they sent to keep watch over the Boonchuy home relayed the footage of the battle between Amp and Cloak Bot. Needless to say, Keisuke was pleased by the results.
"Now we know who the Rider is, and of course, it's a child," said Keisuke.
"The data shows that her energy signature during that last confrontation was exactly a match for one-third of the energy signature that caused the power surge here in the city five months ago," said Cassandra.
"She's quite powerful, I'd say on par with those twins. But considering the fact that she is a child and judging from the reaction she had to use that form. It seems as if she has yet to fully harness and control her powers. This bodes well for us." Keisuke walked over to his desk. He punched in some numbers on a keypad and the middle drawer opened for him. "What is the status of those annoying twins?"
"They're still in Nevada. Our operatives there sent a message not too long ago stating that they've effectively neutralized them for the time being. They won't be interfering," Cassandra replied.
"Good." Keisuke reached into the drawer and took out a small case. He placed it on his desk and opened it, revealing three silver Gaia Memories. "Hunter, Trapper, and Brawler. I've been saving these Memories for this occasion. But in order to ensure our subject does not slip through our fingers. I think you should enter the fray now, Cassandra," said Keisuke.
Cassandra stood up from her chair as she looked at her boss and asked, "Sir, you want me to fight?"
"Why not? Prove your worth as a Quark to the Foundation."
Cassandra sighed as she took off her glasses and pulled out a silver Gaia Memory from her skirt pocket. The Gaia Memory had a "P" that looked warped. "Very well, Sir. I will retrieve the asset."
PHOBIA!
At a facility owned by Foundation X in the Nevada desert, the day was not going well for the people inside. Multiple explosions went off as alarms blared. Security forces were busy shooting at something down a long hallway, but they were all taken out by a rushing blue and pink sparkling comet that filled the hallway and stopped down at the other end. The security soldiers lied on the ground motionless, but after a moment, they started to turn into goo, indicating that they weren't really human at all.
The facility was built into a tall rock formation, but that formation had explosions going off around it. There were piercing green shots, red flames, pink plasma sparkles, blue shockwaves, and…bubbles?
Within a matter of seconds, the entire facility exploded all at once, bringing the entire rock formation crumbling down into a massive heap of rubble. A huge dust cloud was kicked up from the impact, obscuring everything in the area. Within that smoke cloud, a pair of glowing eyes could be seen walking through the dust. As the dust began to settle, the one bearing those eyes lit up in a flash of blue and pink light.
Now that the dust was gone, it was clear to see who it was. The first person was a young man in his early twenties. He wore a pair of gray pants, and black sneakers. He had on a dark gray vest with a blue stripe on it, and an orange shirt. The wind blew and made his long brown bangs fly up just a bit to reveal a birthmark that was in the shape of the Big Dipper. Next to him was an attractive young woman, also in her early twenties. She wore a pink tank top with a shooting star logo on it, and a pair of jean shorts. She white socks and a black shoe, and upon their waists were a pair of identical Drivers.
"I think we overdid it a bit, Sis," said the young man.
"Well, they made that entire thing just to keep us locked up. They must really like us," said the young woman.
"Yeah, they like us like a thorn in the side." The young man took out his cellphone, and he finally managed to get reception now that they were out of that place. "What the heck?"
"What's up, Bro-Bro?" the young woman asked as she stretched.
"Take a look at this!"
The young man showed his phone to his sister. On it was a headline that read, "Kamen Rider Amp Battles a Deadly Robot! Massive Explosion Goes Off Above Skies of Los Angeles!"
"What the heck, Dipper! How much have we missed?!" she asked.
"Now I know why Keisuke wanted us out of the state. He's definitely planning something, Mabel."
Mabel smirked as she smacked her right fist into the palm of her left hand. "Guess it would be a darn shame if we went back to LA and threw a monkey wrench into it, huh?"
"Oh, dear sister, I wholeheartedly agree. Let's go ruin a bad guy's day," said Dipper.
