UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Are you sure it was a good idea to just leave Suneater behind like that?" Izumi questioned, as she continued to run with the group of Pro's and police. "I mean, I know he's strong but…"
"But nothing, our Suneater is as tough as they come. He's as strong as a pro." Fatgum said, leading the way. "It's those three you should be worried about, because we left them alone with him."
"Right." Kirishima said.
"Oh? So you left a student, to deal with those three? Typical of fake heroes." Seryuu's voice echoed around them again.
"We're not playing games Seryuu." Izumi stated. "Give Eri back to us, and undo whatever Tucker did to her."
"Sorry, I'm unable to do that. I don't have the power, not that I ever would give her to a false and corrupt society." Seryuu exclaimed. "Your party seems a bit too big for this mission, let's fix that."
From their right, a giant hole opened up in the wall, with Aizawa in the path, his eyes widening when he realized what she was up to.
"Eraser." Kirishima called out, jumping in the way and pushing his teacher out of reach.
"Red Riot." Fatgum called out, as his charge was sent down the hole, right before it closed on him, preventing anyone from going after the teen. "NO!"
"Oopsie, oh well. His death is a mercy compared to what the rest of you are gonna face." Seryuu laughed maniacally.
"You bitch. Where the hell did you send Red Riot?" Fatgum shouted, pissed that he was unable to save his student.
"Oh I just sent him to some of the Hassaikai's top fighters. Including a new guy Overhaul employed a few weeks back." Seryuu said.
"A few…" Fatgum stopped, before he smirked, and laughed.
"What's so funny Fatass?" Seryuu questioned.
"You just made a big mistake kid." Fatgum smirked. "Because if you sent him to someone named Saiya, then you're gonna be the one responsible for this mission going off without a hitch."
~Kirishima~
"Whoa." Kirishima cried out, falling down the tunnel, before landing on the ground, in a darkened room. "Ow, what the hell was that? Where am I?" He questioned, before his head shot up as he felt the presence of three other people. "Who's there?" The Saiyan asked, jumping to his feet and turning to where he felt the Ki coming from.
Instead of getting a verbal answer, Kirishima instantly brought his arms up and hardened his body to its limits, as Rappa threw a punch at him, and sent the Saiyan teen sliding back.
"Damn he packs a mean punch." Kirishima groaned, feeling the hardened stone of his arms falling to the ground. "He shattered my hardening like it was nothing. Oh well, at least this provides a bit of a Zenkai Boost." He smirked, munching on a Senzu Bean.
"You didn't just crumble down, like a wimp. You just might be fun after all kid." Rappa said, sounding impressed.
"You're no joke yourself villain." Kirishima stated, his hardening growing stronger.
"You know what I think?" Rappa asked. "Knives and guns have no place in a fight. Anyone can win if they've got a weapon. That's the cowards way. A real fighter, kills his opponent, using his own strength. You a real fighter kid?"
"You'll soon see for yourself." Kirishima smirked, taking a fighters stance.
"Before we begin, let's see if the newbie wants to take a shot at ya." Rappa said, standing tall, and turning to look back. "Hey, wanna fight this punk? He looks around your age."
Looking past Rappa, Kirishima's eyes adjusted to the darkness, and they widened when he saw two others standing at the back of the room.
One of them was a man wearing a plague mask, and a gray kimono, with ash blonde hair, while his eyes remained closed. However, it was the second person, his attention was drawn too the most.
The second individual next to Tengai was a well built young man, dressed in a cropped hooded black leather bikers jacket over a black t-shirt with a skull and crossbones wearing the Wukong circlet, with red eyes, printed on the chest. He wore a pair of cargo jeans, with a utility belt around his waist. His boots looked like they were steel toes, and went up to his mid-calves, and were lightly armored with plates of metal. He wore gloves with armored platting on the knuckles, back of the hands, and back of the forearms, and a small length of chain hanging from his waist, with one of the belt loops through a link in the chain, with a kunai on the end, and the rest of the chain leading to something on the small of his back.
On his face though, he wore a metallic skull designed mask/helmet, with the front contorting and molding to the shape of his face like a second skin, his black sclera and red irises visible through the eyeholes, with the hood of the cropped jacket pulled up. There was so much detail in the mask, Kirishima swore it was actual bone, but despite the look of the costume, he smirked, recognizing him from the picture Fatgum had shown him earlier.
"It's time to let loose." He stated.
Kaen turned to look right at Kirishima, and smirked as he got to his feet and walked over to him.
"Oh boy, you're in for it now kid." Rappa smirked.
Kaen simply walked past the fighter, and towards Kirishima, with the Saiyan teen doing the same, both of them stopping as they met in the middle, and gave each other a brotherly handshake. This act of friendliness towards the enemy shocked both Rappa and Tengai, before Kaen pulled Kirishima by the arm, and swung him back, throwing the teen at the villain that had sent him flying. Rappa was brought out of his stupor when he was forced to put his arms up, and block Kirishima's double kick, sending him flying back into Tengai.
"What the hell? Saiya you traitor." Rappa said, picking himself up.
"For me to have been a traitor…" Kaen began as he lowered his hood, and removed his helmet, showing them his face. "I'd would had to have been loyal to Overhaul to begin with."
"You, you're the Saiyan who took Eri away from Master Overhaul in the first place, and chopped off his arm in the Suicide Forest." Tengai said.
"Overhaul was unaware of the fact he hired the very man he was trying to keep Eri away from." Kaen stated. "Unfortunately, it partially worked, as I haven't been able to see her yet."
"You're not gonna get outta here alive, that's for sure." Rappa said, reaching for something in his pockets. Unfortunately, he couldn't find where it was. "What the? My Primal Apex. Where is it?"
"Mine's missing too." Tengai said, searching his robes.
"You mean these?" Kaen asked, holding up the two canisters of the primal rage inducing drug. "I swiped these from you earlier when I walked past you both. Just some, slight of hand I managed to learn from Setsuno these past few weeks."
"You little…"
"Now tell me, how did Tucker manage to get his hands on Saiyan DNA to make this drug? I am quite curious to know." Kaen said.
"It's not hard. You leave your DNA everywhere, a tooth here, some blood there, a severed tail over there." Rappa said.
"What?" Kaen questioned.
"Oh yes. Someone we have in the forensics division managed to make your severed tail, disappear, from the Hosu crime sight after your little altercation with Stain, and make it seem like nothing was even there." Tengai said.
"So that's how it is, huh?" Kaen sighed. "Kirishima."
"I got it." The redhead stated, grabbing the two canisters as Kaen tossed them to him.
"Looks like we'll have to use our trump card." Rappa said.
"Indeed we will." Tengai stated, as he pulled out a box.
"What is that?" Kirishima asked.
"These… were given to us, by someone who is a friend to the Hassaikai, and predicted they'd be needed in this fight." Tengai said, opening the box, to show a pair of green earrings, and handing one to Rappa. "He called these, Potaras."
"Said they'd come in handy against a strong fighter neither of us could handle alone. But said if we wore these, we'd fight as one." Rappa said, putting his on his left ear.
"Let's see what he meant by that." Tengai exclaimed, putting his earring on his right ear.
In a near instant after they put the earrings on, Rappa and Tengai were pulled to one another, and with their bodies making contact, they began to spin around, as they were enveloped in a burst of light.
Shielding their eyes, Kirishima and Kaen were blinded by the light as the two fighters, became one. With the light dying down, Kirishima and Kaen were able to see again, and as their eyes adjusted, they gasped when they saw a well built man, dressed in a grey kimono that looked more like a Gi, with long red hair that graded out into ash blonde in the bangs, and a plague mask, that looked more like it belonged on a wrestler. His hands were covered in Rappa's gauntlets, but made of a thicker material, while he wore a pair of black boots, with white straps.
"Whoa, this feels weird, yet awesome." The man said, sounding like more then one person. "Say hello, to Rengai."
"Kaen, did they just…?"
"Yeah Kirishima, they fused." Kaen said, before he smiled. "You know what that means."
"Aw hell yeah." Kirishima smirked, equally happy pulling out a leather choker as he and Kaen jumped to their positions.
"What are you doing?" The Fusion asked as Kirishima threw the collar up into the air.
"Fu-sion…HAAAAA." Kaen and Kirishima said, as they did the Fusion Dance.
Momentarily blinding the Rengai fusion, he opened his eyes to see Kaen and Kirishima had vanished, and in their place stood Wukong, as he reached up and caught the choker, before putting it on. But his clothes were different. Instead of the normal fusion clothes he would have from using the technique, he wore a combination of Kaen and Kirishima's costumes, with the main suit of Kaen's costume, and the waist cloak of Kirishima's, their suit was also completed with a circlet on his head, and Kaen's shield on his back.
"Whoa sweet. It worked." Wukong smiled. "Whatever clothes I put on before the fusion ends, results as the clothes the fusion wears when put back together. We're not limited to the Metamoran style of clothing for the fusion."
"What?" Rengai questioned.
"Clever trick, getting a Quirk infused device allowing for Fusion." Wukong stated, as the choker beeped. "But we prefer the old fashioned way."
"How?"
"It's a martial arts technique, that you wouldn't understand." Wukong smirked, taking a fighters stance. "Now, come at me with all you've got."
(Cue Music… Encore/Numb: Linkin Park/Jay-Z)
"You asked for it." Rengai said, charging at Wukong.
Raising his arm, Wukong blocked a strike from Rengai, and kicked upward as his counter. The Potara Fusion was able to see this coming, and crossing his arms, formed a barrier barrier that sent him sliding back.
"Their Quirks are combined." Wukong said. "Then I guess it's time we show this joker, what a true fusion can do."
Focusing on Kirishima's Hardening Quirk, Wukong's body became jagged, and monstrous, as he pushed it to the limits.
"Saiyan's Wrath: Unbreakable." Wukong called out as the light of Kaen's Quirk surrounded his body.
"Going all out in a fight like this, it's getting me pumped up." Rengai stated, as they ran at one another.
"Seriously, combining your names was the best you could come up with?" Wukong questioned, hitting Rengai with a roundhouse kick, only for the strike to be blocked by a barrier.
"You're one to talk about names. What kind of name is Wukong?" Rengai questioned.
"It's the name of the Demon Monkey King, from Journey to the West. Someone who actually was the ancestor, of one of the Saiyans I'm comprised of." Wukong stated, leaping up and hitting Rengai with an axe kick to the head.
"Nice try, but with my Quirk Strongarm Barrier, I can create a barrier anywhere on my body and within range of my sight, faster then you can hit me." Rengai said.
"Then I'll just have to make myself faster then your barriers." Wukong stated.
Moving to the side, Wukong side swung a kick at Rengai, only for a barrier to block the strike. Within a flash, Wukong was on Rengai's other side, and his punch was blocked by a barrier.
"How is this possible?" Rengai questioned, staggering from each hit Wukong made on his barriers, his eyes focused on the lightning zipping around and lighting up the darkened room. "I can still feel every strike he makes. He's moving faster, and faster. This is crazy."
"Crazy is exactly how we Saiyans like to do things." Wukong said, appearing up close and personal from behind.
Quickly turning around, Rengai crossed his arms, forming a barrier in front of him, that blocked Wukong's strike.
"You might have gotten faster, but that doesn't mean you've gotten any…" Rengai stopped when he felt himself being pushed back.
"First Gear." Wukong said, as a clicking sound, almost like a car shifting gears echoed in the air, and sent Rengai back farther with another strike. "Second Gear." Again the gear shifting sound echoed through the air, and sent Rengai back even farther.
"What's going on? Why are you suddenly becoming more powerful?" Rengai questioned. "This shouldn't be happening. It's not possible."
"Third Gear." Wukong called out, hitting Rengai with another strike, and backing him up into the wall. "This is where the fight ends, Rappa, Tengai."
Pulling his arm back, Wukong threw his fist into the barrier, shattering it in and instant, before quickly changing tactics, and spinning in the air, hitting Rengai with a spinning double kick to the head, knocking him down to the ground, and rendering him unconscious.
(End Song…)
Wukong panted heavily, and munched on a Senzu Bean, before the choker beeped, and his body lit up, splitting back into Kirishima and Kaen.
"Dude, what the hell was that?" Kirishima asked. "I felt like, eight different Quirks in that shared body of ours."
"Nine." Kaen said. "It was more like nine."
"What?"
"You didn't feel the ninth, because your Quirk is among that list." Kaen said, crouching down and plucking the Potara's off Rengai, thus returning them to Rappa and Tengai. "Remember what I said, about my Quirk being a stockpiling power type at the conference with Nighteye Agency?"
"Yeah I remember."
"Well, how the power accumulates, is by the Quirk being passed down, from user to user." Kaen stated. "It's a mutation. The two Quirks Celeron left me with after the USJ merged into one, after he took Ashura from me. But after some analysis, Athena managed to find a way around that, and made a Xerox Band for me, that would allow me to copy any Quirk I wanted, and put it into the core of my Quirk, and I can manifest them now that more then enough power has accumulated into it."
"Hold up, this sounds all too similar to something like All-for-One." Kirishima said.
"Don't worry too much about it. Athena can fill you in later." Kaen said. "However, the Quirks we used besides your Hardening were Fa Jin, and Gear Shift. All together including myself, I wield the accumulated strength of about ten people, and up until three weeks ago, that number was just six, seven if you included my strength. However, I fear that this much strength, might have some sort of negative effect on my Saiyan Biology, and my ability to go Super."
"I think I'm starting to get the gist of it." Kirishima said, as Kaen pulled out his Permeation Band. "So what now?"
"Now, you're gonna take this Quirk Band, and use the Quirk it has to bind and restrain these two." Kaen said, tossing Kirishima a black leather Quirk Band. "It has a copy of Cementous's Quirk. Use that to bind them, then wait for reinforcements to come find you."
"What are you gonna do?" Kirishima asked.
"I'm gonna go and rescue Eri." Kaen said, before vanishing from sight.
~Flashback: Before the Raid~
"Finally, we've succeeded." Kurono said, standing next to Overhaul.
"Yes. Thanks to Tuckers work in reproducing Eri's cells and Quirk Genes from before her condition got worse, we finally have a permanent version of the drug." Overhaul stated. "We've finally figured out how to preserve Eri's power. With this, we can completely annihilate Quirks. It's a cure. Now we can fix this world."
"But the process is expensive, and it takes far too long. It took us a month to make five bullets." Kurono stated.
"Because we're going it ourselves, down here. I'll find a more suitable environment." Overhaul said. "Now's our chance, with All-for-One gone, we don't have time to waste."
~Present Time: Mirio Togata~
"Excuse me gentlemen." Togata said, addressing Overhaul and Kurono. "But we, need to talk. You've got some explaining to do, why don't we have a chat about Eri?"
"You shouldn't have been able to get here so fast." Overhaul said, sounding surprised.
"I took a shortcut. Give me the girl." Togata stated. "I'm here to rescue, and return her to her family."
"Now that you know the situation, you've decided to play hero, eh schoolboy?" Overhaul asked, recalling when they ran into each other. "You were happy being ignorant when we first met. Unfortunately for you, this girl didn't want to come with you." He said, putting his hand on the tarp covered cage. "You're no hero to her."
"That's why I'm here." Togata stated.
"I'm not getting through to you. Allow me to be clearer." Overhaul said, turning away to leave. "You're going to die down here."
"What the…?" Togata questioned, feeling off and wobbly. "Why do I suddenly feel so… drunk? What's happening to my body?"
"You feelin' sloshed?" Someone from above called out. Looking up, Togata saw a Yakuza member, drinking a bottle of sake. "Your legs look shaky and you're swaying. I feel the same, that's why I'm walking up here."
"An' that's why I'm knocking you down there." Kaen said, appearing right behind him.
Togata gasped when he saw Kaen appear out of nowhere, like he would with Permeation, and knocked the Hassaikai villain to the ground.
"Sorry I'm late Lemillion. Hope Sakaki didn't give you too much of a headache." Kaen said, stomping his foot on Sakaki's back as he landed on the ground. "Hey Overhaul."
The Yakuza head turned to look over his shoulder, before his eyes widened in shock, when he saw him wearing the gear he'd gotten for Saiya.
"No." Overhaul hissed.
"Consider this act, my resignation." He smirked, before a bullet bounce off his left temple. "Nice try Shin. But we Saiyans are naturally bulletproof. Not to mention, I have the USJ Nomu's Shock Absorption Quirk." He stated, smoke rising from the bruise.
"I should have used my Quirk on you to learn the truth, when I had the chance." Shin stated, angrily.
"But you didn't…" Kaen said instantly in Shin's face, with his fist buried in the Yakuza's stomach. "Because Overhaul was stupid enough to fall for my ruse and allowed me to infiltrate his gang."
"You played me, for a fool." Overhaul said angrily, turning around to face him, hives breaking out all over his face.
"Wasn't hard." Kaen said, unfurling his tail from his waist. "You didn't stop to realize that Saiya and I were the same height, had the same muscle mass, and we were both Saiyans. So really, you've got no one but yourself to blame. Then again, I can't really blame you for not noticing, we did meet in a dark alleyway, with you offering me a job."
"DIE YOU LITTLE BRAT." Overhaul cried out, destroying the ground and sending lances at Kaen.
"That's not gonna work on me either." Kaen said, running towards the lances, and passing right through them.
"Wait, that's my Quirk." Togata gasped.
Stopping right in front of Overhaul, Kaen slid to a stop, and twisting his body around, slammed his foot into the Yakuza head's stomach, causing him to vomit in his mask, and to roll to the ground further away.
"You bastard." Kurono said, pulling out a gun. Before he could shoot though, Togata came out of nowhere and hit him with a right hook to the face, and knocking him down.
"You won't touch my daughter, ever again." Kaen growled, grabbing the tarp on the cage. "Eri, you're safe now because I am…"
Kaen stopped, as Togata gasped. With the tarp removed from the cage, Kaen and Togata were able to see what had happened to Eri, and it made their blood run cold.
Sitting in the cage, wasn't a scared little girl, but rather, a chimera comprised of a white tiger, a snake, a gorilla, and a human, with massive scarring all over its body, shaking in fear.
"What… what is this?" Kaen asked, stepping back.
"Pa… Pa…?" The Chimera said, with Eri's disfigured voice, causing Kaen's blood to turn into ice.
"You don't recognize her?" Overhaul questioned, picking himself up. "That's your, so called daughter, Eri. I made sure Tucker had his fun while keeping her alive, when using her in his latest Chimera experiments."
"E-Eri?" Kaen asked, dropping to his knees, tears in his eyes. "What did… what did that monster do to you?"
"No. YOU BASTARD." Togata shouted.
"No Eri. I'm so sorry." Kaen cried, slamming his fists on the ground. "I'm so sorry, I should have come sooner."
"You know, I believe there was something she told your little hero friend, before coming back to me that day a month ago." Overhaul said. "What was it? Tell Papa, I haven't given up hope, I know he'll come and save me?" He recalled.
Kaen suddenly stopped crying, as he gasped, his eyes shooting wide open.
"To be honest, this is all on you." Overhaul said dusting himself off. "If you had just left, well enough alone, and returned Eri to me that day we fought in the Suicide Forest, this wouldn't have happened."
There was an eerie silence clinging to the air, as Kaen clenched his fists in rage. The words Overhaul spat out, infuriating him further and further, the longer the Yakuza boy prattled on.
"Eri, would still have been human, you would still be able to go to U.A, and I would have completed my work on the cure for this world sooner if her condition hadn't worsened thanks to the involvement of you and your family." Overhaul stated.
"Enough with your mind games Chisaki. Where's Fujio Tetsuo?" Togata asked.
"He's busy taking care of Professor Tucker and Nina. Making sure they get out safely through another exit." Overhaul said.
"Overhaul." Kaen growled, his power emitting a miasma that seeped from his body. The ground began to shake, and crack, with stones defying gravity and flying into the air. "Overhaul. You bastard."
"Come now. You know I'm right Saiyan." Overhaul stated, only slightly phased by the sudden switch in gravity. "You have no one to blame for Eri's current condition, but yourself."
"Overhaul." Kaen growled again, but with a more guttural reverberation coming from his throat, as his hair flashed green then black, before he pulled a literal handful of Primal Rage candies from his pouch and devoured them.
Togata knew what those candies were, and what they could do to a Saiyan, he also knew that the most Kaen had ever taken at a time, was three. But there had to have been over a dozen candies in that handful. But he also noticed the red Quirk Band, falling out of the same pouch and next to the cage.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU." Kaen shouted, letting out a monstrous and primal roar as was enveloped in a pillar of green light that shot through the ceiling, and into the open sky like a pillar of fire, signaling the doom, or salvation of the planet.
As this went on, the wind pressure this burst of power created, sent all those present, out through the hole in the street and to the open neighborhood. Togata had grabbed Eri, and the red Quirk Band before they had been sent flying to opposite sides of the crater. Picking themselves up, neither Togata nor Overhaul were expecting for Kaen to possess this kind of power. It shook them to their very cores, as Kaen slowly came floating out of the crater, his suit ripped in several places from the growth of his muscle mass, and the black of his hair having turned green, while the red streak had turned violet. Their eyes widened even further, when out of thin air, a bone mask began to materialize over Kaen's eyes, with two skulls, one on each side of his head materialized. This transformation wasn't finished though, as Kaen's rage manifested two more pairs of arms, sprouting from his back, with two more tails growing from his backside.
"Oh dear."
Togata's head shot up, and he turned to see the blue skinned Whis standing there, with an annoyed and groggy Beerus standing next to him.
"It would appear, we're too late to prevent this from happening." Whis said.
"Seems the Supreme Kai of Time's warning was accurate." Beerus said, as Kaen let out another monstrous roar. "This was most certainly worth getting up early from my nap for." He smirked, as his eyes were glued on Kaen's form. "This should be fun."
