Mysterious Big Brother with Dark Friends
"Done! Thank you all for listening in!" Sayumi bowed at her friends as they clap for her sitting together inside a karaoke booth.
"Well done, Mirei! I never knew you had such a talent for singing." Hakoto amazed.
"To be honest, I never gave singing much thought until Robin-Sensei encouraged to me give it a shot." Sayumigiggled.
"I just had a gut feeling that you could make this fun for us to witness. And please, no need to call me Sensei, we're not in school right now and we can just call each other by our names." Robin pointed out.
"Going to karaoke was a great idea." Chifuyu smiled.
"Yeah, though I wish Jurai and Shiraoshi would be here with us. I wonder what they're doing after getting his book back?" Chopper asked.
"I can only guess that Ando must be doing something silly." Sayumi giggled.
"But you know, whatever he does maybe silly, they just make me happy that Jurai is expressing himself to the world and won't let anyone tell him otherwise!" Sayumi smiled.
"You got that right, Ju-kun doesn't know the meaning of the word "stop" whenever people try to talk some senses into him through the times since elementary school all the way to here." Hatoko smiled as well and taking her drink.
"You know, I have been wondering how is that you haven't dated Jurai before." Sayumi said causing Hakoto to spit out her drink in shock.
"What? What? Where did that question come from?" Hakoto asked with her cheeks blushing a little.
"I mean, you two have known each other longer before Shiraoshi entered your circle of friendship and still remain friends to this day. So, I just thought you might've developed a crush on him over the years." Sayumi stated.
"She does have a point, friendships like that can sometimes lead to becoming love for one another, and they might not be able to hold themselves back." Robin agreed.
"What exactly do you mean by the "not holding back" part?" Chopper asked.
"That's something you're gonna have to learn once you're a little older." Robin turned down the question.
"Even so, it does seem a little weird that you haven't gone on a date with him before." Sayumi said to Hakoto.
"Well, huh, it just that we have a really good friendship and there are times when Ju-Kun can look really cool though that's a rare to see, but he's still sweet and cool in a way." Hakoto complimented about Jurai causing her to blush a little more.
"Oh my, it looks like she really is becoming Red Hakoto." Robin teased.
"Yes, her face is turning red like a tomato." Chifuyu nodded.
"Would you like some tomatoes, Red Hakoto?" Chopper joined in on the teasing.
"That just shows you really do love Jurai!" Sayumi called it with a smug.
"No, no, no, no, that's not what I was saying at all!" Hakoto denied despite the obvious color of her cheeks turning redder than before.
"Oh man, I so got to get a picture of this! Shiraoshi would probably think this is cute too!" Sayumi took the picture with her phone.
"You better not show this to anyone in the school!" Hakoto begged.
"(School, I'm still thinking about that young man who showed up at the front gate and can't help but think that he might be him.)" Robin thought recalled that guy in the black coat.
"Thinking about what song you'll sing?" Chifuyu asked getting the teacher's attention.
"Not quite, I was just thinking about a young man who used to go to the school years ago, you could say he was your Senpai." Robin said.
"Oh, was he your favorite?" Hakoto asked curious.
"You could say he was favorite by everyone in the school for his amazing talents to do pretty much anything, showed to be a very promising young man with a bright future like no other." Robin explained about this former student she knows.
"Wow, he sounds incredible. I bet he must've gotten into a really great good university." Sayumi amazed of this guy.
"He got many offers and went to college after graduating this school. But then something odd happened later." Robin said.
"What do you mean? Did this student got hurt?" Chopper asked.
"No, he was perfectly fine the last time I heard of him, but he suddenly dropped out of college during about a year ago." Robin mentioned.
"Wait, you can leave school just like that?" Chifuyu asked shock.
"Chifuyu, please don't even think about doing that!" Chopper begged.
"Really? What happened to make a promising guy leave just like that?" Hakoto asked curious and confused.
"I don't know, no one knows why he left and it's still a big mystery to some who knows him personally to this day." Robin shook her head.
"(And now, I can't help but feel like he's odd leaving and absence is somehow connected to something odd like our powers.)" Robin thought.
Sayumi heard and saw her phone buzzing as she just got a text message from Mirei, she picks up her phone to take a closer look at the message.
"Oh, looks like Mirei got a little surprise from the others." Sayumi said getting everyone's attention.
"What is it?" Chifuyu asked.
"She just found out with Shiraoshi that they just met Tomoyo's older brother at a restaurant that he and Jurai are at right now." Sayumi informed the group.
"Really? I didn't know Tomoyo had an older brother." Chopper surprised.
"Ah, I guess that means my former student is okay at least." Robin smiled.
"Huh?" The group confused of what Robin was saying until Hakoto piece it together.
"Wait a minute, are you saying that"
"That Tomoyo's big brother is the drop-out student you talked about?" Sayumi asked the question, beating Hakoto to the punch.
"Yes, his full name is Hajime Kiryū." Robin revealed the name of that student.
(With Jurai and Others)
"Hard to be a freeloader and sound cool, right?" Tomoyo asked her older brother.
"I think we're done here. The two of us can pick some other time. See ya, Guiltia Sin Jurai." Hajime said as he put down the cigar.
"This could've been such a wonderful reunion too. Such a shame." Hajime patted on Tomoyo's shoulder though she tries to ignore it.
"Is it normal for siblings to tense with each other?" Mirei asked.
"I think so, my older brothers do fight some time whenever they disagree on something." Shirahoshirecalled seeing her older brothers fight.
"One other thing, Jurai." Hajime said facing Jurai one last time.
"I almost forgot to tell you about this… The state of mind is a weapon, depending on how you see the world, you could end up topping Heaven itself. Lucifer's Strike, that also happens to be my other devilish alias, with the power to shatter the world." Hajime explained and revealed his other name.
"Dark-Dark Embodiment. One of these days, the wheels of fate will turn around and bring us face to face again, Guiltia Sin Jurai. I look forward to that moment." Hajime grinned and left the restaurant.
"Okay, that was super weird, like Jurai Chuni weird level." Mirei shocked.
"To think Jurai would be able to find someone just like that." Shirahoshi said.
"That's not the only surprise. Was that guy really your brother?" Jurai asked the red hair girl.
"Not that I like to admit it." Tomoyo sighed.
"It's not all bad, Endless Paradox is a cool name. He came up with that name, right?" Jurai asked, consider how Hajime called Tomoyo Endless Paradox.
"Huh? Y-Yeah, he made that nickname for me a while back. I really didn't know what in the world he was doing at time when he made that crap up, and it didn't make a lot of sense, but I'm sure you can probably figure it out." Tomoyo said, sounded a little embarrass.
"I'm sure he was hoping for his little sister to be the coolest thing in the world." Shirahoshi believed.
"Hold on, if you're both siblings then why you two have different last names?" Mirei asked as she noticed the family name between Tomoyo and Hajime being different.
"Because we got the same dad, but different mothers. It just one of those things Hajime insisted on." Tomoyo explained as everyone sat down together.
"Kiryū just happens to be his mother's family name. He lived with me and my dad ever since we were kids, he just has this thing for his mom, so he wanted to keep her name." Tomoyo explained.
"Aw, that's very nice. He must really love his mom so much that he couldn't part ways from the memories of her." Shirahoshi said, knowing how that feels with her own memories of her mom.
"But it sounds like there is more complicated stuff with your brother." Mirei stated.
"You wanna know?" Tomoyo asked.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Jurai asked, not wanting to push the subject that Tomoyo isn't comfortable talking about it with other people.
"I guess I really don't." Tomoyo said.
"Okay then, would you mind telling us about your brother then? For some reason, he seems more than meets the eye." Mirei asked.
"Well, the thing about Hajime was… He was amazing at everything he tried to do. Not just book smarts, smart-smart. Right at athletics too. He would always be like first or second in national tests, he was in the same Literature as we are, and also managed to run in the national track meet too." Tomoyo described about her brother's feats.
"That's really something, Tomoyo." Jurai surprised of how amazing her older brother is.
"It sounds like the guy was really going places but doesn't appear that way now." Shirahoshi commented.
"Yeah, the way you talked about him sounded like he was a completely different person from back then. Did something happen?" Mirei asked.
"About a year ago, he quit college without saying anything other than "This whole world is mess up and wrong!" and then he moved out of the house." Tomoyo mentioned.
"Seriously? He literally gave up his future for something crazy like that?" Mirei confused more of this guy.
"Now that you mention it, I do remember one of my big brothers, Manboshi, mentioned about looking up to one amazing Senpai who had the brain and body to do almost about anything along with having a wild mind or something like that." Shirahoshi recalled what Manboshi said.
"I think he was talking about your brother." Shirahoshi realized.
"Maybe, Hajime did like to talk about his friends sometime though he only prefers to call them by the silly nicknames he comes up for them." Tomoyo said.
"That guy is mysterious, especially the way he just called you out." Mirei stated looking at Jurai who seems confused.
"Ando, you notice that Hajime just refer to you as Dark-Dark Embodiment before he left." Tomoyo pointed out.
"Yeah, he did." Jurai nodded.
"Why do you think he called you that? You didn't tell him, did you?" Tomoyo asked, worry that Jurai may have exposed their superpower secret to him.
"No way, give me some credit." Jurai assured he kept his mouth absolutely shut about the club's secret.
"Maybe this once." Tomoyo giggled softly.
"Actually, that got me worry. Dark-Dark Embodiment is the name of his superpower and no one outside of the club aside from Mirei knows a single thing about that name, and yet your brother knows about it like he was with us from the start." Shirahoshi pointed out with a worry look.
"You're right, that's just weirder than having Jurai with us right now." Mirei pointed out.
"I would feel offended from that, but I have to agree with you there on that one." Jurai admitted.
"It almost like he's also with the big mystery of the supernatural like with us when we suddenly got our powers." Mirei stated.
"Hold on, are you trying to say that my brother is involve with how we got our powers in the first place? That's not possible!" Tomoyo yelled with her hands slammed on the table spooking the lovers.
"Hey, hey, I was just speculating on a theory. Nothing serious!" Mirei promised but couldn't shake the feeling as well.
"Okay, guess I just overreacted." Tomoyo sighed as she sits back down.
"Hey Tomoyo, do you want to know what else he's good at?" Jurai asked getting her attention back to him.
"He ordered a lot of food and left me to pay for it." Jurai revealed looking over the receipt of the food he ate showing the cost to be 3,600 yen.
"Oh my, he must've been really hungry." Shirahoshi surprised looking over at the receipt.
"I'm so sorry, he does that." Tomoyo apologized.
(With Hajime)
Hajime is seen walking onto a path close to the river with a grass slope on his right seems to be minding his own business as he walks back to his apartment, but then stops a few feet before going under the bridge.
"You know, it's pointless to be a sneaky assassin if I already know you've been following me like a restless predator trying to sink his fangs into the bigger predator." Hajime said with a smirk.
"And you're that kind of predator, Rob Lucci." Hajime called out to the guy following him.
"It would seem you're still sharp as ever to have even notice my presence after the Fairy War last year's war game. Kiryū Heldkaiser Luci-First" The young man known as Rob Lucci jumped down appearing behind Hajime.
"Aw, so nice to see you again, Dark Cheetah of Justice." Hajime smirked as he turns around meeting the man face-to-face.
"Still saying those sill names, I see." Lucci said.
Lucci is a tall and slim, yet muscular man with arched eyebrows and a close-shaved goatee. He has shoulder length wavy black hair that is tied in a ponytail. He wears a large black top hat with a sepia band. a two-piece black suit with the sleeves that are rolled up, complete with black leather shoes and a white tie and handkerchief in the breast pocket.
"Hey there, Hattori. Nice to see you too." Hajime greeted the white pigeon wearing a red tie on Lucci's right shoulder who coo at the young man.
"Tell me, were you curious about my conversation with Guiltia Sin Jurai?" Hajime asked.
"Something like that, I'm surprise that boy and his team haven't fought any other superpowered people since getting their powers over the past six months." Lucci said.
"That's because they're busy trying to hide themselves as they discover more about their powers and what they can do with each other's help." Hajime stated of what he already knows.
"But it's becoming annoying that they have not been aware of the Fairy War battles that's been going gone." Lucci narrowed his eyes.
"It's almost like you're trying to keep the battles from finding them on purpose, is it because your little half-bitch of a sister is with them as well?" Lucci asked.
Hajime's eyes widen and instantly move with one hand swinging down towards the guy causing the ground to crack into a crater, but Lucci wasn't in the crater as he blitzes behind though appears to be a little bigger.
Lucci threw a strong kick which Hajime blocks with the same arm he used to attack first.
"Oh, bringing out the kitty claws right now, huh?" Hajime commented.
"Just a reminder that I'm coming after your head for the final battle of the Fairy War." Lucci said, revealing himself to have transformed into his muscular hybrid cheetah form.
"Cheetah, a simple superpower that allows you to become a cheetah full or into a humanoid form of a cheetah. You were already a total beast with your martial art and assassination skills before getting this power, it's cool." Hajime complimented.
"And I see your gravity power is still effective as always such as making your arm heavier to stop my kick." Lucci commented back before they push each other away.
"Just so you know, I already sent out two of my members to face that team soon." Lucci said before transforming back and Hattori flew back on his shoulder.
"Being cautious as always, you never stop to smell the roses." Hajime chuckled.
"Will that be a problem?" Lucci asked.
"No, if you're sending the two, I may know who then that should actually be something fun." Hajime smirked as he walks away.
"Hey, do you think their Guardian will make herself known after your attack?" Hajime asked.
"She must since it's going to be a serious battle in the war." Lucci said as he walks in the opposite direction, leaving for the night and the crater just like that.
