Chapter 11

I don't own Persona or Type Moon

The operation was a partial success.

He was just meant to gather bits of information Kamoshida's Palace. Its design, layout, Shadow's guarding pattern, etc. He wasn't trying to clear the Palace in one feel swoop. Just a quick peek while nobody was paying attention. Not even the Palace Ruler.

So why am I in this situation?! Being stared down by one Kasumi who was sitting in front of him looking at me with suspicion, while Sumire was sitting on Kasumi's bed also looking at my direction but with a bit of nervousness.

After that little 'incident' he managed to convince them to not question him while inside the school. Partially because they have been missing for a short while so they had to go back to the Principals Office. But mostly because he 'provide' them information if they kept this information to themselves and not overreact.

With the whole school fiasco over and them finally back into the house both girls didn't waste time and locked me up with them into Kasumi's room for their 'interrogation'. What joy.

"So you want to start?" Kasumi asked. I raised my eyebrow at her.

"With what exactly?" I tilted my head to the side. "I already briefed you to on the existence of the Metaverse. Even gave you my name and my occupation. If you want to ask me something then please be honest to yourself and ask away. But one question at a time." Doesn't mean ill tell you everything.

There were somethings he just couldn't tell them.

Kasumi narrowed her eyes at me. "What are you?"

He paused at the question. Then straighten his body and gave a 'cat equivalent' of a shrug. "Honestly speaking I don't remember." He was honest on his answer.

Kasumi crossed her hands as she narrowed her eyes at me. "What do you mean you don't remember?"

"As in before appearing in the streets and meeting you my memories are a bit misplaced." He turned his head from looking Kasumi to Sumire as he kept talking. "Other than some bits of information that I have already provided there's nothing else I remember."

"How can we trust your word on this?" Kasumi was anything but relentless.

He shrugged again. "You will have to take my word for what it is. But I'm being honest when I say I don't remember anything else before I met you."

There really was nothing else he could say to them that could make them believe in him. He was being as honest as he could be considering his situation.

"Then how about the whole being a cat thing?" Kasumi crossed her arms at him. "Whats the deal with that? Are you a person or a cat?"

Huh. "That is a good question. And frankly speaking, I'm not sure." He tried to scratch his head but then lowered his paw when he couldn't reach. "I haven't really given it much thought considering all that's happened lately. Neither for has been difficult to move in so I'm not sure."

"So you don't know whether your a cat or a person?" Sumire's question made him and Kasumi to look at her. Which made Sumire self conscious and to start shuffling nervously.

He shook his head. "I'm not sure which form is the real me sadly."

Kasumi turned her head at him again. "So you weren't faking being a cat the whole time?"

"No."

"Not trying to just trying to take advantage of your situation in any way?" Her eyes narrowed at him.

He narrowed his eyes back at her. "I am man of principals. Why did you think I slept in the living room when you wanted me to sleep in your rooms?" It involved a small tug of war with Kasumi but he won in the end. What kind of man would peak on a bunch of unsuspecting teenage girls? I have my own pride dammit.

A man who does such a thing's is not a man at all. He agreed at those words.

At his words Kasumi calmed down and seized her narrowed stare at him. "Fine I'll believe you."

"Thank you."

"But I have on more question." He sighed but nodded his head. He knew what was coming.

"Is it about the Palace?" At seeing Kasumi nod he rubbed his face with his paw. "What is it you want to know?"

"How can we get rid of it?" He looked at her then shook his head.

"There is no 'we'. Neither of you are getting back in there." In this he was not budging.

"Why?" Sumire asked looking at me. "Isn't there anything we can do?"

"Without the 'Will of Rebellion' both of you are just asking to die. Please remember how close you were to getting to that in the Palace." He really could not budge from his decision. "Asking me to bring you there is begging for suicide. I will not do that. That is final."

Sumire rubbed her hand nervously. "But isn't a Palace a sign of something bad going on? Cant we really do something about it?"

"You two will do nothing. I will deal with it myself." He shook his head. "Just keep doing what you were doing before, and ignore the Palace." He was trying to help them. "Even if you wanted to you don't have a way to get there without me. So it woul-"

Palace to far. Please get close to designated area to begin navigation.

He paused his rant at hearing a familiar voice. Then slowly turned his head to look at Kasumi holding her phone out to him. The screen had a black and red eye with a microphone symbol under it.

"What is that?"

"An app that's been on my phone since the night we met." Kasumi then shook her phone a bit at him while holding a small smile. "I tried to delete so many times but it just kept coming back. It was so annoying. I tried to use it but it never did anything. But!" She then placed the phone he was eyeing in her lap. "Now I have a good idea what is for."

Since the day we met?! How is that possible?! He was trying to figure how this could've happened but he couldn't make heads or tail's how she could've obtained the app. But he was drawing a blank.

In the end he sighed. "Please delete it."

"Even if I do it it will only come back later."

Another sigh. "You know that I can't bring you. Its to dangerous." Seeing Kasumi's smug appearance and Sumire giving him an apologetic look he knew it was a loosing battle.

Kasumi's smile grew. "Good thing we will have a chaperon who will guide us and protect us. Isn't that right Shirou?"

He tried to make them see reason. "You still wont have the strength needed to be in the Palace. You will slow me down." He really did try his best.

Kasumi's didn't lose her smile. "Good thing we also have an expert in the subject! Was it 'Will of Rebellion' how it was named?" She rubbed her chin cutely as if in thought.

He didn't find this situation cute at all. His head dropped when he realized he let this situation go out of control by giving off all of that information. Was he this easy for women to manipulate?

The only solace he had was Sumire's apologetic smile. At least she seemed genuinely sorry about the abuse he just experienced.

It is said that the most beautiful roses have the sharpest thorns?

Please shut up.

Welp its been a while. After a long and eventful interrogation a decision has been reached! How will this decision will lead this rag tag group to the future? I'm not sure! We will found out soon!

Sorry for not posting the chapter sooner. Had a pretty busy week lately so I didn't have the time to both finish what I had made and also post it.

Thankfully Saturday was free and had some good notes I have taken during the week. So during week day's when I had a moment I took notes on random ideas I had.

Now unto the reviews!

Gojosin- Yeah Shirou's luck is abysmal as ever. Only he could get screwed up that bad. As in for blaming Phil. Yeah just a bit.

jiongu-naruto- Nice joke. Didn't even think of that one.

kerrowe- Already answered your question when I fixed the earlier chapter. If you didn't read it here is the notice.

Freedmoon- Same thing as kerrowe. Check chapter 10 if you want to read it.

Kanon- Thanks for the worry. As in for Shirou. My thoughts are that regardless which Shirou I pick against women who are smart enough or stubborn enough he will just lose arguments unless he is super lucky. Which he isn't. As for why hes silly? He's not our average Shirou isn't he? How will the girls interact with the new info will be seen next chapter. And yep. They will be 1 day ahead with the next chapter being during the next day. And thanks for being relaxed about the ship's. I am a bit nervous on how ill tackle that.

YuukiAsuna-Chan- Now you asking the type of questions that get people into trouble. Jokes aside Shirou is not normal. Whether its him as a cat or his 'human' form he is still not normal. At all. That' all I can really say without revealing to much. But your indeed right that at the moment when he saved the twins he had 0 memories/knowledge compared to how much hes aware of now. He's been 'rediscovering' things little by little. And somethings come back easier than others.

That's the end of the reviews. I jump between 3 apps/sites to check my reviews so sorry if I missed one. Please continue to review this story. Of all the things that motivate me the most in this story is the interaction between you guys and me. The feedback helps me grow bit by bit while writing, spot and fix mistakes and give me new ideas that will change the story. Your reviews are priceless.

Also the story reached and passed 100 follows! Never I thought I would reach this plane of existence! Thank you all for enjoying the story I enjoy to write so much. Even do its in the early stages of the story I could reach this many people makes me so happy! Hope I can you entertained for a long while!

Welp that's all I have. Stay safe! And see ya later!
