I wasn't truly happy with the first two chapters of this Volume, but I must say I really like this one. It was a blast to write, as well. I hope you'll like it.

Terra slowly awoke, her dreams of old life fading away. She really didn't want them to be gone; she wanted to stay in her dream, to be a normal kid again. Not being forced to wander the Earth like Cain from the Old Testament, not bringing pain and suffering everywhere she went.

Alas, dreams always end; a fact she was painfully aware of. There was no happiness awaiting her when she opened her eyes, but the dream was already gone and reality called her.

She awoke, feeling a nice, soft and warm bed under her… wait, what? She stayed silent and unmoving, trying to remember what happened. Was she captured, kidnapped? She couldn't feel any restraints, and quick check of her powers shown they were not blocked or suppressed in any way. She was above ground, in a high building on an island. Weird. She could topple that building, if she needed to escape, so why keep her here?

Coming to a conclusion that she won't learn anything more just from staying in whatever bed this was, she slowly and carefully opened her eyes. The room she was in was bright, and she grimaced as her eyes got used to the light. She was on a bed of some sorts, and covered with a warm blanket. Sunlight was pouring into the room through the huge windows on one end of the room, and the entire place looked very high-tech.

Before she manage to come to any conclusion, she heard someone. "Hey, you're awake. How are you feeling?"

Hearing this voice made her suddenly remember everything, and after a moment to gather her thoughts she turned her head to the left and smiled, seeing the green teenager standing next to her bed. "Hi, green stain."

Beast Boy facepalmed and groaned. Great, now he will have to explain that it's just a nickname, if it will even work… he was so annoyed he missed the first quiet sounds, but after few moments realized their guest was actually laughing.

"Sorry, couldn't resist it, Beast Boy. So, this is the famous Titan Tower? Damn, that's a nice place." The girl extended her hand towards him. "I'm Terra, wandering superhero. Thanks for the help, I was in a pickle there."

"No problem, that's what we're for." Beast Boy, now smiling widely, shook her hand and clicked his communicator on. "Everyone, Terra is awake, if you want to say hi. Sure, I'll let her know, see you soon."

He then turned to Terra and explained, "Everyone else is currently on patrol, so you'll have to wait a moment before meeting them. But they say they're already on their way back and be here soon."

"Oh, so they all went on exciting patrol, and you stayed with me? I am thankful to have such gentleman standing guard over me while I rest." Seeing how Beast Boy turned a little red, she couldn't help and laughed again. Her laughter was melodic and full of energy, and Beast Boy felt like he could listen to it all day and not be bored of it.
Wait, what? He shook his head to focus. Where did that came from?

"No, it's not like that. It's boring, actually, and, not that I wouldn't want to stay with you, it's just that, it's, just…" Beast Boy tried to explain, but it only lead to him growing more red and Terra laughing even more.

"Oh, you're adorable." Terra managed to say between bursts of laughter, wiping off tears from her face. "Cute, adorable and gentleman, I never heard that about the great Beast Boy."

"Wait, you heard about me?"

"You're kidding, right? How do you think I know your name? You're the Titans! The second well-known superhero team in the world, duh, of course I know!" She grimaced for a short moment, but quickly returned to her happy persona; but it didn't escape Beast Boy's attention, even if he didn't show it. "I was kinda out of it when I saw you there in the canyon, but normally I would instantly recognize you. But I never heard of your real name being 'green stain'. Don't worry, I can keep a secret, your true identity is safe with me." She tried to keep a serious face, only to fail miserably and continue laughing.

"You're one to talk, Terra the Geomancer." Beast Boy said before realizing what he just did. Terra suddenly stopped laughing, and looked at him with a stone face… for about three seconds. Then both of them started laughing.

"Oh, that, that was a good one! Hahaha, and what about you, Mr. 'I change to animals, I am the Beast Boy!', how are you gonna call yourself when you're and adult? Beast Man?"

When other Titans arrived, they found two laughing teenagers, conversing happily between bursts of laughter. Terra, still in a hospital gown, was standing and looking out of the window with amazement, although when she heard the elevator open she turned around to meet the rest of the Titans.

"Hi, everyone, I'm Terra! Nice to meet you all!" She waved her hand, and went to shake hands with them. "Woah, THE Robin, apprentice of Batman, himself!"

To his credit, said teenage superhero managed to not show his annoyance at the remainder of Bruce and simply shook her hand with a smile. "Nice to meet you, as well." He tried to take his hand away, but found it surprisingly hard – Terra was still shaking it, and she was putting a lot of strength into it. Oh, so that's how it is? She looked into his eyes, and they both smiled, not showing any pain or discomfort on their faces as they tried to crush each other's hand in their own.

Terra gave up first, letting go and shaking her slightly throbbing hand. "Damn, you're strong. What was Batman feeding you, Bane serum of something?"

Raven sighed. "Great, now we have two of them. Fantastic." Her words had no bite, though, and even Terra could feel it as she turned to her.

"So, the mysterious…" She started, only for Starfire – who was vibrating with energy next to her – to suddenly jump at her and give her a Starfire-patented hug.

"Uuuuuuuf, girl, you're strong!" The victim of a sudden hug managed to say, thankful for her supernatural strength and resilience. "You must be Starfire, then!" She hugged her back with full strength, not that she could match the enthusiastic Tamaranian.

"Friend Terra, I am so happy to finally meet you! I was worried when you were asleep for so long, but friend Cyborg said you just need some rest."

"I am happy to meet you too, friend Starfire…" Terra managed to say, before even more ecstatic Tamaranian almost crushed her with even stronger hug. She looked at the rest, trying to wordlessly ask for help, only to see other Titans smiling or silently laughing at the sight. Only Raven was, for some reason, looking at her with an emotionless face… but, Raven was probably just being Raven, Terra decided; form her knowledge of the Titans, she was always serious and never smiled, probably some side-effect of her metahuman powers, or whatever it was she was using.

Terra mentally shrugged, deciding to ignore Raven's emotionless face for now, and focused on trying to breath. Which was a little hard with Starfire still in a hug-new-friend mode. To Terra's relief, Cyborg cleared his throat loudly – or at least made a similar sound, do cyborgs even need to clear their throat?

"Oh, sorry, friend Terra!" Starfire let go of her newest friend, who wobbled on unsteady legs for a moment before regaining balance. "I was so happy to see you think of me as your friend, I just wanted to hug you!"

"It's fine, Starfire, really. It's nice to see someone as enthusiastic and happy as me." Terra answered, smiling and finally breathing freely. Damn, this girl had muscles.

"I'm going to my room." Raven announced, turning around and walking away. Everyone looked at her for a moment, but as she disappeared behind the corner they returned to the greetings, although with a slightly dampened mood.

Understanding and accepting that Raven sometimes needed to rest, especially when in presence of strong emotions, other Titans decided to just go on with the conversation. Starfire, knowing her friend and her powers better than anyone else, silently promised herself to go check on her in a moment.

Feeling the slight tension in the air, and feeling the happy atmosphere go away, Terra tried to restore it. "And you big guy must be Cyborg. Please don't crush my hand, I'm pretty sure that unlike Robin you could do that easily." She shook the giant, but surprisingly gentle and warm metal hand. "Thanks for taking care of me, those guys almost got me."

"Yeah, about that, can you tell us anything about them?" Robin asked, switching between smiling and serious in an instant. "Only thing I know is that of the bodies found, there were some former U.S soldiers, a well-known assassin and some mercenaries, but that's all."

"Well, then you know more than me. They just tried to shoot me; never gave me any reason." She looked at them sadly. "So, they died?"

"Not because of you, if that's what you're worried about." Robin assured her. "They started shooting each other. We're not sure why, but it seems there were two groups behind you, and they started attacking each other. Do you have any enemies who could hire these mercenaries to kill you?"

Terra looked sad, despite Robin's explanations; and she was, in fact, feeling pretty down. Again people die just because she's close to them. This time at least it was just the bad guys dying, but still. Why can't she bring something else then destruction, at least once?

Her dark thoughts were rapidly stopped by a sudden, strong hug. "Friend Terra, do not be sad! They were bad people, and they killed each other because they were evil. Do not allow this to make you unhappy!"

Terra, stunned, patted her weakly on the back. "Alright, alright, friend Starfire, hrrrrrrgh," Starfire instinctively hugged her even stronger for a moment, "I'll be fine, just need a moment. And Robin, no idea. I have some enemies, what superhero doesn't, and some of them could definitely try. But two at once? No idea."

"Alright, we'll talk later, maybe I'll manage to track the person responsible with your help." Robin tried to relax. They weren't in any kind of danger, and his earlier cross-referencing with Justice League database confirmed everything she was saying right now. Wandering superhero, loner despite very bright attitude and everpresent smile, never stayed long in one place. Most known for saving people during a horrible earthquake half a year ago – an unnatural, highly-localized earthquake, that was probably work of some supervillain that was never caught.

But before League got there, she left... although first she tired herself to near-exhaustion saving people, only disappearing when it was obvious to anyone she won't be able to save anyone else.

Robin had no idea what happened after that. And if he did, he would react much, much differently. But, knowing only what he did, he decided to just trust her and let her relax and rest. After all, he was trying to change, let go of his paranoia, and unless she was under some kind of mind control she was definitely not a danger to him or his team.

"We have a room prepared for you, let me show you!" Beast Boy said, slightly nervous still; wait, Robin thought, why is he slightly red? Was he exercising or something before she woke up? And why is he nervous, and why is Starfire looking at him with this weird smile?

He shrugged, deciding that he will never understand some of his teammates.

"Oh, before you go, any allergies? What would you like to eat?" Cyborg asked, already going to the kitchen. "I'll make you something tasty, you must be starving."

"Now that you mentioned it, yeah, I could eat something right now. Rocks aren't too tasty, trust me, I was on a rock diet for the few days now." Seeing everyone's faces, Terra smiled widely. "And anything you'll make will be good, I never found something I wouldn't eat if it was tasty. Beast Boy, you were going to show me your room?"

"Oh, um, yeah, right! Your room." Beast Boy took her deeper inside the Tower, leaving behind sounds of Cyborg getting ingredients out, and Starfire rapid-fire talking about happy she is to have another friend. "You were joking about the rocks, right?"

Terra looked at him and winked. "You will never know."

Her room was close, and to her happiness proved to be very nice. Spacious, with a big window on the side allowing her to gaze into the ocean, with soft bed. The last part was especially nice. She may be a geomancer, and like earth a lot, but nothing could make it as comfortable to sleep on as a proper bed.

She instantly fell on the bed, smiling happily when she felt how soft it is. Perfect.

"We managed to repair your uniform, it's in the wardrobe with some other clothes. Starfire got them specially for you, so hopefully they'll fit." Beast Boy said, pointing to said big wardrobe. "Food will be done in around an hour, knowing Cyborg, want me to let you know when it's done or do you want to go back to the living room?"

"I'd rather have you stay and tell me more about you and other Titans. I miss people sometimes. Let me just change." She got out of bed, and went to the wardrobe, stopping when she noticed Beast Boy walking towards the door. "Wait, why are you leaving?"

"Um, you're gonna change, so I wanted to, you know, give you privacy?" Beast Boy answered, causing her to roll her eyes.

"I'll just change in the bathroom, you don't have to go anywhere. Unless you're tempted to peak, hmmm?" Beast Boy grew red again, and she laughed, closing the door to bathroom. Oh, he has adorable all right. Still smiling, she looked at her uniform – whoever fixed it, was definitely good at their job, it looked pristine – and put it on instead of the hospital gown. Much better.

Her mood quickly soared down when she realized that this would not last long. Soon, she will have to leave, again, or bad things will happen. It was inevitable. And she won't be able to take Beast Boy with her; she would not sentence him to a life wondering the Earth with her. It was her curse, and she would have to endure it alone.

"Um, Terra, everything alright?" Beast Boy asked from the other side of the door, causing her to snap out of her thoughts. She forced her smile to return, and opened the door, back to her happy persona.

"Yes, sorry, it's just so nice to have my uniform back I got lost in thoughts. So, you served with Doom Patrol, right? Have some funny stories?"

"Oh, do I?" He smiled, and started his story of how one time they fund an ancient crown that was supposed to melt people's minds if they were not worthy and tried to wear it.
Of course, when Mento put it on – they needed to use it to open secret door in an underground burial chamber – the crown melted itself, instead.

The faces of the local villain group when they realized what happened were hilarious. Of course, after that happened Patrol had to dig through the wall manually instead of opening it, but at least Beast Boy had basically unlimited amount of jokes he could now make out of 'Melto'. Oh, I mean Mento, I'm sorry, it's just a little 'hot' in here you know.

Beast Boy and Terra laughed, and smiled, and at least on the surface everything was alright. Like it often happens, two traumatized – and hiding it - people found each other to be the best company.

At the same time, Starfire gently knocked on the door in the other part of the Tower. "Friend Raven, do you wish to be left alone?"

There was a long silence, and just as Starfire decided to turn around and leave she finally heard an answer. "No, I do not."

Taking it as an invitation, Starfire slowly opened the door and entered friend Raven's room. She was the only Titan allowed there most of the time, and she's been inside enough times to get used to how it looked. Everything was in shades of violet and dark blue, with a little black here and there. While some would take it as a dark sign, truth was much simpler – Raven both liked these colors, and found them calming.

The empath herself was meditating quietly on the floor. Starfire, knowing her friend well, sat opposite of her in an identical position, and also started meditating. She found it really hard, with her emotions running wild after meeting a new friend. Still, she focused on her breathing, slowing it down, and focusing all attention on it. In, out, in, out. Slowly, her emotions calmed as well, not disappearing, but changing into a general feeling of happiness and calm, one that she knew from experience was much easier to take in for her friend's empathic sense.

And sure enough, after few minutes of this, Raven started talking, her voice emotionless like always. "Thank you, Starfire. I appreciate that."

"You are welcome, friend Raven. Are you well? You left in a hurry, and I was worried we overwhelmed you too much with our emotions." Starfire answered, not opening her eyes. Sadness rose in her, but, as Raven taught her, she allowed it to flow through her like water. Calm and steady, like a wide river, taking in every emotion and still remaining steady.

"I am mostly fine. However, I am worried about Terra." Raven answered. That was unexpected.

"Worried? Do you think she is doing planning of some evil things?" Relaxed, Starfire did her 'doing' quirk and didn't even notice it. As she became a little more versed in Earth's language, and not just based on what she learned from Robin back then, she was doing this less and less. But still, it happened occasionally.
Not that anyone minded.

"No, it's not that, or at least that's just the first issue. It's that…" Raven stopped for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. "Remember when Blackfire was here? I'm sorry for bringing it up, but that's the best way for me to describe it."

"It is fine, friend Raven. But what do you mean, she reminds you of my sister?" Indeed, Starfire, as sad as it was, had over a year to deal with her pain and loss. She still grieved for the sister she wanted to have, one that she lost so long ago to hatred and anger, but she knew she could do nothing to help her now. And excessive grief would not help anyone.

"Remember when she arrived? Everyone was… ensnared in her charm. She was so regal, so charismatic, it was hard to take my eyes off her." Raven felt some weird emotion in her friend, but ignored it and just continued. "She was so friendly and accepting. Everyone wanted to spend time with her, and no matter what I talked with her about she was willing to listen and talk about it. It felt like she understood me so well, and I could spend time with her without any… Starfire, are you alright?" Raven opened her eyes, not able to identify what her friend was feeling, and found Starfire looking at her strange. "You do remember that, I'm sure. She got all of us, except you, and we were too blind to see it."

"… So, what you're saying friend Raven, if I understand correctly, is that you think we are too trusting with her?" Starfire asked, deciding to not answer the question. She had a certain suspicion now, but she was not going to pry into her friend's private life.

"No, or at least that's not the whole story. It's that darkness. There is something wrong with her, Starfire, I can feel it. All those smiles, and jokes? It feels like Beast Boy when he's having a really bad day, one of those when he can't even sleep alone."

Starfire winced. She was the closest person to Beast Boy among the Titans, and she was well aware of how bad some nights were for him. Even before the Agamemnon Contingency, he sometimes had trouble sleeping. Recently, he had horrible nightmares, thanks to Batman and his plan.
She supposed she should feel more furious and angry at the caped crusader for it, and sometimes she was. But every time, she remembered his eyes, for a short moment open and clear, and what she saw in them made her pity him more than hate nowadays.

Still, if Friend Terra had issues similar to, and as deep, as friend Beast Boy, she felt really sorry for her.

"Do you think we can help her?" She asked.

"I do not know. But I know she is suffering, deep inside, and refuses to show it to anyone. I don't know how to help her, since she didn't tell us she needs help. I have no idea how she reacts if she finds out I know her secret." Raven closed her eyes, and returned to meditation.

She did her best to ignore the happiness and all the other emotions flowing out of Terra's room. But first and foremost, she tried to ignore the darkness and pain hidden below it in both of the teenage superheroes.

Beast Boy and Terra arrived just in the time for the meal. Everyone else was already sitting at the table, aside from Raven who took her meal to her room. Cyborg waved at them when they arrived. "Just in time! Come on, eat, and if you like anything Terra do not hesitate to ask for more!"

"Yes! Friend Cyborg's cooking is amazing, he even managed to make meals that remind me of home from Earth's ingredients!" Starfire praised him, causing their resident cook to laugh nervously and scratch his head.

"This his cooking?" Terra asked, raising an eyebrow at her plate. The alien superhero was eating something very exotic. Some kind of light-brown roots, reminding her of ginger roots, in a toxic green, gelatin-like substance. It definitely looked very weird.

"Oh, no, that is Glorg from Tamaran! Friend Green Lantern managed to get small amount of my favorite fungi, and friend Cyborg helped me make a place to cultivate them!" Starfire smiled widely.

"… It was more like finding a way to contain it safely…" Cyborg said quietly to himself, shuddering at the memory of somehow carnivorous fungi.
Normally, he would oppose keeping something like that in the Tower, and Robin even more, but the timing made them reconsider. Green Lantern brought a small, heavily-secured sample shortly after the Agamemnon Contingency, and it was one of the things that really helped Starfire feel better despite her health problems. So, they allowed it, and Cyborg managed to find a way to keep them secure.

Fortunately, they could not survive by themselves on Earth, so there was no risk of biocontamination of the planet. As a result, Starfire was occasionally able to make her favorite Glorg, and meeting a new friend was definitely an occasion.

Speaking of which… "Do you want to try it, friend Terra?"

Everyone else started shaking their heads and saying something among the lines of 'No, don't'. Terra, seeing this, made a devilish grin. "Of course, friend Starfire!" Before anyone managed to stop her she took a big spoon, grabbed one root with some surround green jelly with it, and put it in her mouth.

There was a moment of silence. In it, everyone heard Terra's teeth – whatever they were made of – crunching the super-hard roots, and moments later the sound of swallowing the acidic jelly. Cyborg, panicking, was halfway through getting up and running to infirmary, Beast Boy and Robin were just shocked.

Terra burped slightly. "Damn, girl, you have tough meals on your planet. But I see why you like it, it tastes like sushi with huge amounts of vanilla. A little too sweet for me, but very tasty."

Starfire hugged her again, Beast Boy and Robin sighed with relief, and Cyborg sat down, making a mental note to try one of those seafood with vanilla recopies he saw some time ago. Maybe Starfire will like them as well.

"Now I believe you when you say you were on a rock diet." He joked, while their guest took more of – this type more normal – food and started eating. A lot of it. "You seem really hungry, too. Always eat that much?"

"Don't even get me started, big guy. I don't know what's up with my body, I'm a geomancer, not Flash, but I still need to eat and drink a lot. On the flip side, my stomach seems to be able to take almost everything, and my teeth can cut steel so it's not all bad." She continued eating in peace, from time to time engaging other Titans in a conversation.

The rest of the day passed quickly. Terra proved to be a charming and friendly person all day, telling Robin everything she knew about the people chasing her, admiring T-car and praising Cyborg's work, playing video games with Beast Boy.

While she was happy to spend time with Starfire as well, Tamaranian was also making sure that friend Raven is alright. She didn't want her to feel excluded, and while her friend was usually prone to spending all days alone Starfire still made sure she does not feel abandoned and forgotten in the rush of a new guest.

After such frantical, and happily spent, day everyone went to sleep early. Robin, of course, wanted to stay up longer to continue work on tracking people responsible for the failed attack on Terra, but the rest convinced him to rest – and, to their surprise, he agreed. Their leader was truly getting a little different from his mentor, allowing himself to rest sometimes.

And while the rest of the Titans went to sleep, Terra, alone in her room, finally dropped down her illusion of happiness. She laid in bed, shaking, as she remembered the faces of those who died chasing her. And of those who died earlier, during her travels, crushed under rubble, falling down ravines and crevices, and sometimes hit by a stray rock.
It was a dark truth that Terra could never escape from. She was cursed. She knew she must be, what other reason could there be for all the pain and suffering she was always bringing with her?

Even when she fell asleep, her nightmares continued. Dead rising up from the ground, changing what she loved so much into a place of pure horror, all of them pointing their fingers at her. The murderer. The monster. Terra, the betrayer.

And, unknown to the young geomancer, Raven was not asleep. The youngest Titan's mystical sight could feel and see the waves of pain, fear and suffering emanating from the poor girl.
And she couldn't do anything about it. She decided she was going to talk with Robin about it – as a team leader, and the most experienced superhero among them, she trusted he would have some idea. But for now, she could do nothing but wait. She could not fall asleep with all these emotions pouring around; she was annoyed, sleepy, and she knew she would be awake all night.
Joy.

In the morning, Raven went to Robin the moment he was awake. It was',as always, earlier than anyone else. Even with her requiring up to an hour, sometimes longer, of meditation each morning and having to get up sufficiently early, he was usually already working on something when she meditated.

Seeing her in the evidence room this early, he did a double take. "Raven? What's wrong?"

"Terra." She answered simply. "Not sure if you noticed, since she's really good at hiding it, but she is suffering. A lot."

"Hm. I did find her happiness a little forced, but had no idea it's that bad. Anything more you can tell me?" The young detective already started thinking of a solution.

"She feels like Beast Boy does during his worst nights, but nearly all the time. Has horrible nightmares and can barely sleep. Can't say what about without entering her mind, which I will not do, but that feeling spiked when she learned about those dead people in the canyon. That's it, at least from what I can see."

"Already more then I could get myself, thank you, Raven." Robin opened some news site and chose a date around half a year ago. "Now, take a look at this."

On the screen was a news article depicting young superhero, who helped people affected by a clearly unnatural earthquake. Terra, since it was obviously her, worked herself to the bone and left, disappearing without a trace before Justice League arrived to help.

"Multiple casualties… some of them died after she took them out of the rubble, with one dying in her arms after being pulled out… a fire started, and many people were burned to death… Sounds horrible." As emotionless as her voice could be, Robin, knowing her well, could feel how hard it was for her to read it. Sometimes he forgot that, despite her immense powers and mythical aura around her, she was still raised in a utopian, pacifist society, and was not used to things like that as he was. Or other Titans.

Robin closed the news site. "Yeah, I wager a guess this is where at least part of this comes from. Notice how the villain behind it was never caught? And when I talked with her, she didn't mention any of her enemies having geomantic powers."

"And? I'm sure you already figured out what is going on, Robin." Raven said, used to her leader's slightly overgrown ego. But she had to admit, he had reasons to be proud; she still remembered the Deep Six incident and how he managed to nearly perfectly find out the villain's plans, motivation and what to do to reach said villain in mere hours.

"She obviously wouldn't use her powers to hurt others. You saw how she reacts to death. And I find it hard to believe she had any reason to traumatize herself, cause all these nightmares, work herself to exhaustion helping afterwards and leaving before anyone could even thank her properly.
And think about her whole 'wandering hero' story. You can see she greatly misses people, so why is she traveling alone? There must be a reason. For now, my theory is a villain with geomantic powers, stalking her for whatever reasons. He may have even been the one behind these assassination attempts. She tries to avoid staying anywhere for long, in fear of their fight causing more casualties."

As usual, Raven was impressed with his deduction skills. "So what now? Can we take this mysterious villain, whoever they are? Is Tower in danger, or Jump City?"

"That is a good question. I know that Tower is so resilient, that villain would have to literally drill a cave below us make it fall down, so we're safe. In a straight-up fight, I'm sure we and Terra could easily take that enemy, and Tower is so far from Jump they would just have to evacuate beaches and the city would be safe. They would have ample time to do so if the fight breaks out." Robin looked at the map of Jump on one of the walls with concern.

"But if they target Jump and use it as a hostage…" Raven did not finish. She didn't need to. They both knew that it could end up horribly.

"Well, in that case, we have some aces up our sleeves. We can't stop the villain from coming here, even if we throw Terra out right now – which, for the record, we won't do – there is no guarantee this mysterious villain isn't already in the city. If it comes to it, you'll use your powers to find them, and we'll take them out. I already scheduled extra patrols over the city, on the first sign of trouble we move in. I will also inform Justice League, hopefully they can help if it turns out to be a disaster. Hopefully the villian will make some demands before attacking, and you can surprise him with your teleportation before any casualties happen."

"… You really thought it through. Please tell me you at least didn't spend this morning calculating possible casualties." Robin looked at her with stone face. "Azar, of course you did…"

"That's what the leaders are for, Raven. I needed to know how much I'm risking by allowing her to stay. And, if we succeed, how many lives can be saved. That's our job, in the end." He returned to his screen.

"And what about helping her? Even if we deal with this enemy, she will still be traumatized." Raven pointed out.

"That is actually easier. I am going to run her through some tests, and offer her to become part of the Titans. I have some arguments prepared in case she doesn't want to, but I think together we can persuade her to stay at least for the time being. With all of you keeping her company, it shouldn't take long for her to trust us enough to open up with her issues, and then we'll see what we can do. Worst case scenario, I'm sure J'onn will be happy to help, he got a degree in psychology recently… in less than a year, don't ask me how."

"You are really sure she'll trust us."

"Well, I did, didn't I? Starfire already hugged her multiple times and she likes it, somehow, and Cyborg is ecstatic about her spending time with him in the garage already. I doubt she is more stubborn then me." Robin smiled for a moment at the thinly-veiled insult he just dealt to himself, and got back to work. He still needed to plan for all other eventualities.

Except for any plans involving fighting her. He refused to be Batman. If it comes to that, which he highly doubted, he trusted his team to succeed without any creepy plans involved.

Terra proved to be such a long chapter, that even after dividing it into parts they're still far from short - without cutting it, it would be around twice as long as Sum of His Parts, and that one is already the longest chapter to date.
As always, all comments and feedback welcome.
