Queen Isabeau.

The Queen was ready to retire for the night when Cedric appeared before her. "My Queen, the Royal family has returned." He bowed.

"Are they safe and well?." Queen Isabeau asked.

"As far as I know. They walked into the house and Princess Bo dismissed their guards." Cedric replied.

"Order the guards to stand down but be on standby." Queen Isabeau walked past him and towards her bedroom.

"Yes ma'am." Cedric bowed and turned around to leave the room.

The next morning.

Bo walked around the house and decided to take her pacing downstairs so she wouldn't disturb Lauren or the kids. She straightened up things that were already spotless clean. She gently moved furniture. She walked into the kitchen and smiled that fresh groceries had been brought in. She took a deep breath and rolled her eyes when there was a knock at the door. She walked over and yanked it open. "I said we aren't to be disturbed." She said flatly.

"The Queen sent me. She has requested us to be on standby. We can't do that from outside, should Princess Lauren need us." A Royal Guard bowed and smiled.

"I will deal with the Queen. You may stand there. But never move. If one step wakes my family up, you will be sent back to the Queen without your title, shall we say." Bo backed up and allowed him in.

Bo walked to a private room and pulled her phone out. "Hello Grandmother." She spoke softly

"Bo! Welcome home baby!." Queen Isabeau smiled.

"I allowed one of the guards in but that's all from that crew that will be allowed in." Bo replied.

"Is something wrong?." Queen Isabeau frowned.

"Lauren is on bed rest." Bo replied quickly.

"Bed rest? Who? What? Why?." Queen Isabeau fell into her seat.

"Last night the baby started kicking, violently. As a precaution, I brought my family home and put my wife on bed rest." Bo explained.

"Okay. I will accept whatever you want to do. It is your life and your family but don't hesitate to ask for help. She's our family too." Queen Isabeau gestured for Cedric.

"I don't know where Mom is or what Lauren is feeling about all of that. But I do know my wife will get the rest she deserves. I couldn't help her before but I am for damn sure going to help her now with everything that she needs." Bo spoke as softly as she could. She didn't need to be nasty with the Queen. She doesn't need to be nasty about anything but her foot must stay down right now about Lauren resting.

"Lauren is a Doctor, if she feels something is wrong, I will have an ambulance outside. In fact Cedric is on that right now." Queen Isabeau nodded at him to get it there, now.

"It is too soon, Grandmother." Bo finally broke down in tears.

"Mom?!." Aife walked into the throne room.

The Queen handed her the phone. "Bo?." Aife spoke.

"Hi mom. Lauren is on bedrest and I'm getting scared because it is too soon for our baby to be born." Bo shook her tears off.

"You were an early baby. Look how you turned out. That is a powerful baby. They all are. I am sure the Queen has told you that we will provide you and them with everything that you need." Aife looked at the Queen and she nodded.

"I know things are tense with you and Lauren. But her feelings come first. If she's ready to see you, she's ready to see you but your presence may not be good for her. So, please understand if you are not the one we want here right now." Bo softly explained. Her strength was back and she needs it to be.

"I will stay away but I will still help. When Lauren is ready to see me, I will be right there." Aife handed the phone back to the Queen.

"The ambulance is on the way. It will stay there until you tell me you are tired of looking at it or if Lauren sends it away." Queen Isabeau explained.

"Thank you. I just wanted you to know what's going on and what I did with the guards." Bo walked back out of the room and the guard hadn't moved. He knew not to.

"Make us a big breakfast." Bo ordered their chef.

"Yes, Princess Bo." The chef bowed and walked towards the kitchen.

"You. Go outside and instruct the ambulance to keep the sirens off." Bo ordered the guard.

She turned and walked upstairs. She checked on the kids first and laughed at how they were playing. She kissed them and walked to their bedroom. Lauren was still sleeping. Bo pulled her shoes off, grabbed a blanket and fell onto a plush chair. She watched her wife. Lauren couldn't be more beautiful than she is right now. Her babies need sleep. Her other two are having a ball in their cribs. She turned and held their video baby monitor in her hand and kept the volume low. She smiled when Charlotte and Chloe did. This is perfect. She's a mother and a wife at the same time. The food aroma was tickling her nose. Her tongue could tell that the chef is on point and almost done with the food.

She loves the woman in their bed. She felt her heart sink into those feelings again. They took their trip because Lauren knew Bo needed time away. She did. It wasn't long but it was needed. She found her strength and found the spot to marry her wife again. To an outsider this would look dull and unnecessary. But as much as Bo hurt losing her wife, Lauren hurt by never knowing she was Bo's choice. She has to speak her words. Actions are nice but words are even better. That's why she wants to marry her over and over and over again. She is sure her vows will mature as her feelings do. She sighed and smiled. She looked to her left when the chef nodded just outside of the door. Bo nodded back and pushed the blanket off of her and onto the chair. Two maids walked in carrying two food trays and the Chef pushed a food cart in behind them.

"Stand at attention." Bo spoke softly. "Lauren? Sweetie, it's time for breakfast."

Lauren reached for her stomach, felt a small kick and nodded. Bo helped her to sit up as the tray was placed over her. "You may return to your other duties. I got this." Bo looked at the staff. They bowed and left.

Bo scarfed down her food down and put her tray away to feed her wife. Lauren didn't want it, so Bo backed off and stood to make herself another plate. She kept an eye on Lauren. The doctor was eating everything in front of her. Good, Bo thought.

"How are Isabeau and Aife?." Lauren asked.

"They can wait, Lauren. This is about you. They are fine." Bo spoke through a bite of food.

"What's with the ambulance?." Lauren asked.

"The Queen sent it. She thought we might need it." Bo was stunned at how Lauren knew it was down there. They didn't use their sirens.

"The baby is fine. I'm fine. Have it sent away." Lauren smiled and accepted another plate of food.

"You are the doctor. Pregnant with our baby. If you say you don't need it, you don't need it." Bo quickly called down to have the ambulance sent away.

The women ate until they couldn't take another bite. Bo washed the doctor's face and hands. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you too." Lauren smiled and gently kissed the succubus.

"So, if we don't need the ambulance, what do you need?." Bo asked as she pulled back.

"Looking at you, I don't think I need anything right now." Lauren smiled wide.

"It was bad but not bad, bad." Bo rested her head in Lauren's hands.

"You look better though. Much better." Lauren kissed a tear that had fallen from Bo's eye.

"I thought we were going to lose the baby. I thought all of that kicking meant a bad thing. So, I told them that I put you on bed rest. Silly? Maybe. But I am done taking chances with us. Done being stupid thinking I know everything when I don't. Done making you feel like you have to carry me in this relationship. You died as a human but came back to me as a Fae. You aren't going anywhere. I am not going anywhere. Well, not anywhere but to get our necessities from the bathroom." Bo smiled and stood.

"Bo, I can get up." Lauren smiled.

"I know you can but I like spoiling you." Bo returned with a spit bucket, their toothbrushes, mouthwash and toothpaste.

"I also want a bubble bath." Lauren laughed.

Bo grunted with her toothbrush in her mouth and disappeared into the bathroom again.

Lauren smiled as much as she could as she brushed her teeth. She likes, no she loves seeing Bo like this. That swag she had when she first met the succubus is back. But she's a lot more focused and attentive with Lauren.

She thought about the first time she kissed Bo. That last split second, she thought, she is not going to be enough for this woman. Her succubus would probably laugh in her face. When she didn't, it shocked her. She was hungry. She had been starving for years with Nadia in her coma. Women had come and gone from her lab. But then she literally walked one into her lab. Every touch and movement. Then she shyly asked Bo to undress. As a doctor, she is used to seeing patients undress. But when Bo took off everything, she couldn't help but look. Marvel at the beautiful woman in front of her. No Fae had been that beautiful and in her lab at the same time. Then that night, she undressed Bo and Bo lowered herself on top of Lauren. If she is going to fail, she's going to make the best of her failure at not being enough for this woman. But Bo never made her feel that way. Never told her she wasn't. She just didn't have it in her to tell her that.

The blonde took a breath with a piece of Bo inside of her. They made this baby and the other two. Nothing is more beautiful than that. Lauren cleared her throat and climbed out of bed when Bo pointed at the bathroom with both hands. Her smile is as beautiful as she is.

Bo extended her hand and knelt down while the doctor lowered herself into the tub. Bo stayed on her knees as she massaged the blonde's shoulders. Lauren moaned at the touch and closed her eyes. When she leaned her head back on the surface, Bo moved to the other end and took a foot into her hand. She turned her head briefly to look at the baby monitor. She used one hand to turn the sound up. The kids were snoring and it made both women laugh. "Have they been fed?." Lauren asked.

"Already handled babe. I gave them a little extra and I think that's why they are napping so early." Bo laughed.

"Good. Good." Lauren laid her head back again and allowed her wife to pamper her. Bo smiled as Lauren looked like she was about to fall asleep again. Thirty minutes later, her wife was clean as she helped her dry off. With no plans to do anything but hang at home today, Lauren dressed in comfortable clothes and walked downstairs. Bo grabbed the kids and walked down to join her wife. She laid the babies down gently next to Lauren and stood back. "Are we comfortable?." She asked.

"We are". Lauren smiled as she played with the girls. Bo nodded and took a seat to watch the scene.

Aife and Queen Isabeau.

"Aife, pacing back and forth is not going to solve anything." The Queen looked left to right and back again watching it.

"Bo was an early baby. I thought for sure I was going to lose her." Aife played with her hair and let it go.

"Lauren might have sent the ambulance away, but it is still close by. In fact it is around the corner from their house. Fully gassed and staffed should they be needed." Queen Isabeau explained.

"She could deliver it at home." Aife stopped.

"Should she do that, I will release them back to their regular duties. In fact, I might order them to be the Royal Ambulance, since the kids plan on having more kids." The Queen sipped on her drink and set the glass down.

Aife's phone rang and she immediately answered. "Hello, Lauren?." She looked at the Queen as the old royal stood. "I want to see you, now." Was all Lauren said before the woman hung up and practically sprinted out of the castle and into a Hummer. The Queen wasn't far behind her as she climbed inside too.

"That's all she said?." Queen Isabeau asked.

"Well, it's better than fuck you and I never want to see you again." Aife apologized for her language but still, Lauren's tone worried her. It worried her all the way to their house. She jumped out and ran up the stairs. "Easy". Queen Isabeau called out to her.

"Right." Aife took a breath.

"Princess Lauren will see you, now". A guard bowed and opened the door.

"My. That almost sounds like you forgot who you work for." Queen Isabeau laughed. "But I like it. That's how any visitor here should be addressed."

"Yes, My Queen." The guard bowed.

The women gasped when they saw Lauren. She was dressed in all white and her hair flowed down over her shoulders. "Follow me." She spoke softly.

They walked into the living room and found Bo, Charlotte and Chloe asleep on the couch with Bo holding both babies in her arms.

"Look at her. She's healthy. She's happy. She's my wife. She's the mother of my children. This is my house. This is her house. We are a family. Do not disrespect all that I just mentioned ever again, Aife." Lauren spoke hard but soft.

"Lauren I am so sorry about lying. I really am. But she's mine too. I wasn't going to harm her but I was too late to stop her from harming herself." Aife was nearly in tears at the sight of Lauren's discontent and at Bo literally holding her family.

"I do not want this hanging over us after the baby is born. I will accept your apology because I know you do love her. You loved her enough to sit with her as she grieved for me. You loved her enough to come back from Valhalla and stay with her. I love her more than that. She's my wife. She's my life. They all are. Now, since you are both here, I can call the ambulance back from around the corner." Lauren spoke. The Queen and Aife's eyes went wide when Lauren's eyes changed colors as she looked out the window and back.

"Bo." Lauren gently touched her shoulder.

"Lauren? What are they doing here?." Bo shot up.

"I called them. It is okay. We are better but you need to get up sweetie and hand them the babies." Lauren smiled.

"Oh sh..it's time!?." Bo looked at Lauren and she was literally glowing.

"It is." Lauren took Bo's hands and Bo lifted her up and carried her out to the ambulance. "Clean that up." Bo shrieked when Lauren's water broke but still walked her to the vehicle. She climbed in and took the seat beside Lauren. She held her hand and felt her wedding rings. The blonde didn't grit her teeth but she didn't smile either. "Stay with me, babe." Lauren looked at Bo and finally smiled. "So, are we sticking with Ethan?.

"If it is a boy, yes." Lauren smiled and nodded.

"And if it's a girl?." Bo bent over and kissed Lauren's hand.

"I haven't thought about that much, yet." Lauren replied softly.

"It's okay. When the time comes, we will think of something." Bo smiled and raised up. She watched the paramedics do their thing but kept her hand in Lauren's. Lauren laid her head down on the gurney as Bo played with her hair. The succubus had tears in her eyes. Happy tears.

"Mom said I was early too. He or she will be fine." Bo played with blonde looks and looked out the back door window. It is fitting really. Behind them is family. Ahead of them is a bigger family. When she looks into Lauren's eyes they are like windows to her future. That's what she needs now. A future and not the shadows of her past.

The ambulance pulled up and Bo jumped out. They raced inside and were quickly taken to a private wing of the hospital. Bo smiled knowing the Queen was in on this too. She changed out of the clothes that Lauren's water breaking had dirtied. "Just give me one good push, babe." Bo coached her wife. Lauren looked at Bo and took one long breath. Closing her eyes, she pushed hard. When she opened them again, they looked like an assortment of colors. Mostly like a rainbow but mixed with white too.

"Well, is it a boy or a girl?." Lauren asked.

"Ohh, right!." Bo laughed. She was so caught up in Lauren's eyes, she had almost forgotten about the baby. "Well, hello Ethan!". Bo looked at Lauren and back to the baby.

"Thank you." Lauren smiled at the ceiling.

"That's what I said." Bo smiled. The women kissed and watched the baby be cleaned up and brought back to them. Once he was cleaned up, the kids, the Queen and Aife joined them.

"He's beautiful, Bo." Lauren smiled as she held him for the first time.

"Say hello to your little brother". Bo cooed as she held Charlotte and Chloe. "Hello, little brother." They replied.

"Wow! I was only kidding but okay!." Bo laughed.

"They can talk!." Lauren laughed.
