Disclaimer: I do not own high School DxD. I only own the OC Damian Mammon-Lucifer.
Damian didn't wait for Katerea to make a move to attack, for he quickly appeared before her in the blink of an eye and delivered a swift, hard kick to her chest, sending the air out of her lungs as she was knocked off her feet and sent flying back. She rolled across the ground before coming to a stop, groaning and coughing in pain. Damian casually created a Light spear through his ability of Light magic thanks to being connected to the first Angel himself.
Damian threw the spear and Katerea quickly moved out the way but the spear exploded where she had been, causing her to scream as she was knocked back and felt the burning effects of Light magic, a Devil's weakness.
Damian placed his sword's blade on his shoulder as he watched Katerea get to her feet, put her staff in front of her and four magic seals appeared around it. Blasts of energy shot out, each think and potent with dark magic. Damian narrowed his eyes before lifting his free hand and shooting several beams of darkness to intercept Katerea's magic attack, resulting in a collision of powers that created an explosion, causing some to look away for a moment at the blinding light.
"Damian Mammon... DAMN YOU!" Katerea snarled as her staff was thrusted forward again as four more magic seals appeared.
"Mediocre." She heard her opponent say before he waved his hand and she soon saw an enormous pillar of fire began charging towards her. She created defence seals around her body but the moment the fire hit cracks immediately formed on the seals and quickly broke them apart.
She pushed herself backwards and flew higher in the air to avoid the fire. However, when she got a safe level she saw Damian was no longer in front of her but had now appeared above her.
"How are you moving so fast?" She demanded, glaring at one of the men that was responsible for the downfall of her family.
Damian didn't reply and became a blur, causing katerea to go on alert as she looked left and right before a black blur attacked her left and right, moving too fast for anyone to see. All they saw was a black blur striking so fast, human eyes wouldn't have been able to see it but Devils, Angels, Falllen Angels and the like would be able to.
"GAH!" Katerea screamed as she felt her ribs take one hell of a punch, breaking two or three of them. She then felt her wrist be grabbed and twisted enough to dislocate the wrist off the bone, causing Katerea's screams to turn blood-curling before she was thrown through the air.
She didn't have time to blink or do anything else before Damian appeared and delivered a hard kick to her stomach with such force and strength and force that she was sent crashing through part of the Kuoh Academy building. Not giving her a chance to counter with her own attack, Damian quickly appeared above the now partially destroyed building and aimed for the hole where she had fallen through. He conjured a black ball of darkness the size of a basketball before he multiplied it into six balls of darkness.
Then with a thrust of his hand, he sent the balls straight for where Katerea crashed, causing a massive explosion that was followed by Katerea's screams as she experienced the power of the Primordial Power of Darkness, the strongest Devil Clan power, wielded by members of the Lucifer clan.
Damian landed on the ground and placed Mortem across his back, turning to look at the group when he felt a power spike come from the building. He turned and narrowed his eyes as he watched Katerea stumble out of the building she crashed into, and she looked like shit.
The once beautiful Devil now had half of her hair burnt off along with multiple burns and wounds covering her arms, legs and stomach. Her clothes had been burnt off, leaving her naked for the world to see. Her face though was contorted into a mixture of pain and anger as her eyes were wide with an insane look in them.
"You will not take this from me." She rasped out. "I will take my place as Queen of the Underworld, and you will bow to me."
After that she made a small jar appear in her right hand that was covered in Devil runes and sealed. She waved her hand and quickly made them disappear before ripping the lid of the top.
Damian watched with narrowed eyes as purple-like snake figures wriggled out of the jar and began leeching and absorbing itself to Katerea who had a wide smirk on her face.
The snakes began to glow with an orangey glow around them as began to meld with Katerea and Damian watched as her body began to change and alter itself. Her arms became long and more tentacles like while her hair and face features became more wild. Her breasts even got larger and her body became more toned. The most noticeable difference though was her power level had jumped again.
"Okay..." Damian said, tilting his head. "That's different."
Katerea began to laugh before a powerful beam of energy shot out from her mouth, breasts and the tip of the tentacles.
Damian exhaled before he held his arms out, his hands becoming covered in a black aura, before he brought them together in a mighty clap which unleashed an enormous force of darkness like wind, which blocked the beams of energy and send them spiraling away.
"Is that it? I expected more from the descendant of Leviathan." Damian said tauntingly. "But then again... Lucifer was always the better out of the four."
"And yunare the grandson of Lucifer, so I want to know... why don't you join us?" Katerea asked, her expression becoming more seductive, her voice more sultry, as she began to rub her hands up and down her breasts, groping them. "You could be a great ally and I could give everything you desire. I would give you myself to you. A strong woman for a strong man. Think about the outcomes if we united. Our children could be great. They would be the most powerful Devils to ever be brought to life."
A normal man would be tempted, especially with Katerea's large bust swaying temptingly like that...
But this was Damian Mammon-Lucifer. He was no ordinary Devil.
"No." Was all he said coldly before he turned into a blur and shot towards Katerea. There was the sound of something slicing through something else before everyone witnessed Damian reappear behind Katerea, his sword drawn and the blade dripping blood before Katerea's head fell off her body and to the ground, the body following afterwards.
Damian flicked the sword to remove the blood and sheathed it across his back. He looked down at Katerea's body before incinerating it with a powerful beam of fire, leaving nothing behind.
"What power..." Sona commented in awe after the fight she just witnessed.
Her parents had told her all about the grandson of the original Lucifer himself, including the real reason he left. It had left her with a very cold outlook on the Gremory family and Sirzechs. She could not believe that Sirzechs and Grayfia, two people that in a way were like a brother and sister to her like Serafall was, could ever do such thing. Her respect for the two Devils had taken a very large blow.
In terms of the power of Damian Mammon-Lucifer, she readily agreed with what her parent told her. If Damian went all out at his full power, he could destroy all of Japan many times over with plenty of power to spare.
It was frightening power.
Damian stared at where Katerea had been burned to nothingness before he sensed another battle taking place and looked over to see it was not too far away, so he spread his wings and flew over there. When he landed, he saw who was fighting.
First was the boy he saw attempting to take on Kokabiel, Rias Gremory's Pawn he believed. His name was issei Hyoudou, and from what Damian has seen... the host of Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor. The other boy was most definitely Vali Lucifer, since he was encased in white dragon armour, which Damian would recognize since he's came across hosts of the White Dragon Emperor in the past 200 years.
He crossed his arms, deciding to watch the show.
"Give up Vali, It's over," Issei told Vali as he took deep breaths and looked on the verge of passing out as a bracelet around his wrist broke into multiple pieces. Meanwhile, Vali steadily stood up as he entered his Balance Breaker mode again without the helmet forming.
He was about to attack Issei making the Gremory peerage ready themselves. However, behind Vali, Bikou appeared and dropped out of a tree with his staffs on his shoulder.
"What bring you here, Bikou?" Vali asked.
"They want you back. Apparently, they want you for some fight that will take place up north."
"Hey who the hell are you?!" Issei shouted as he stood back on his feet and let his gauntlet appeared back on his hand.
"Issei be careful. You've used up a lot of energy today." Rias told him but the brown-haired boy's focus was entirely on the two members of the Khaos Brigade.
"His name is Bikou, descendant of Sun Wukong." A new voice made itself known, causing them all to turn and see Damian standing there, with his arms crossed. Bikou took a step back in fear while Rias had gone pale with her eyes widening in shock.
"Damian Mammon-Lucifer." She said aloud making everyone else gulp and realize who he was.
"We need to go." Bikou said, grabbing Vali's shoulder, but Vali was in a staredown with his relative. Damian and Vali stared one another down, the two cousins never blinking or breaking their gaze in anyway.
"I look forward to fighting you." Vali said as a magic teleportation circle appeared underneath him and Bikou.
"Don't think that because we're related, I will go easy on you. You'll die like any other Old Satan trash that stands in my way." Damian said coldly. "We'll meet again... Vali Lucifer."
Vali looked like he was about to speak but both he and Bikou completely disappeared, leaving the Gremory peerage and Damian behind looking at the spot where Vali and Bikou had previously been standing.
"Mediocre." Damian muttered before he turned to the Gremory Peerage and noticed they were looking at him a little wide-eyed. "Take a picture, it'll last longer."
Rias snapped out of her stupor and bowed her head to him. "Thank you, Damian, for saving my Peerage and I from Kokabiel. Though... why did you break my ankle weeks back?"
"You were in my way." Was all he told her before looking at the downed Issei. "Can you walk, boy?"
"No." Issei groaned.
Damian walked forward and picked Issei up in a fireman's carry before looking at the Devils. "Come."
With that, they began walking to where the Three Faction leaders were. The Khaos Brigade had retreated, but they had made themselves known. Things were changing, this Khaos Brigade may very well be a threat. Not a big one like 666, but they were a threat nonetheless.
They arrived at the meeting room, Damian simply kicking the door open rather than opening it normally. He ignored the eyes on him as he walked over to one of the chairs and placed Issei down, backing off as Rias and a blond-haired girl dressed in nun clothing fretted over the boy.
However, the moment he had, a blur slammed into him and nearly took him off his feet. He looked down to see Serafall hugging him tightly, having wrapped her arms and legs around him and had her face buried in his chest as she allowed the tears to fall.
"Oh Sera..." Damian sighed as he hugged his old friend back.
"You bastard." Serafall sobbed. "Two hundred years and we don't get any word from you. No phone calls, no letters, no nothing. Do you know how worried we have all been? Many thought you were d..d…..dead."
Guilt bloomed in Damian's chest at seeing Serafall cry because of him. They had been very close friends before he left, and Damian knew there was something there that was more than close friendship but neither could act on it due to different circumstances such as Damian finding out about Grayfia and Sirzechs theb leaving for 200 years.
Damian just hugged her close. "I'm sorry, Sera... I'm so sorry..."
"You're back now." Serafall said, her tears residing as she looked up at him before kissing his cheek and buried her face in the crook of his neck. "I've missed you so much."
"I missed you too, Sera."
"That was a badass entrance, Damian." Azazel said with a grin. "I always knew you had style. And I knew you'd show up and get involved."
"With this kind of thing... I decided I've been hiding in the shadows for too long. It was time my exile ended." Damian told him before looking at Michael and Gabriel. "Michael, Gabriel... It's been a long time."
"It has. Thank you for your aid, Damian. We needed it." Michael said as he shook hands with Damian, followed by Gabriel... who gave Damian a flirty wink which they all saw. Azazel gave Damian a thumbs up while Serafall glared at her rival.
"Lord Mammon-Lucifer." Damian turned and saw Sona walking over with her Queen. She bowed her head. "Thank you for your aid today and helping us deal with Kokabiel."
"Well, I wasn't going to let Serafall's little sister die." Damian said with a small smile at the girl, who couldn't help but blush since Damian was devilishly handsome.
Though, now seeing them together, Sona could tell Serafall had feelings for Damian, She was never this familiar or friendly with other male Devils and Sona now knew why, because her big sister only had eyes for Damian. Sona was 100% certain Serafall was in love with Damian.
"Damian..."
Damian stiffened at that familiar voice and felt his hands clench into fists as he began to slowly turn his head, his eyes glaring coldly at the people his gaze landed on.
Sirzechs stepped forward with a nervous smile on his face with Grayfia standing beside him, whose eye were firmly plastered on Damian. A smile was tugging at the side of her mouth.
"Hey buddy! it's been a long time! How've you been? You do something with your-GAH!" Sirzechs was cut off when he was blasted through the wall by a beam of darkness, courtesy of Damian who had an arm stretched out.
"Sirzechs/Brother!" Grayfia and Rias cried, about to go to his aid when they were grabbed by their arms and forced to look into the cold, darkened eyes of Damian Mammon-Lucifer. First, he looked at Grayfia.
She had not aged a day in his opinion and was still as beautiful as ever. Her long hair was now tied in neat braids which disappointed him. She was more beautiful with her hair down and her body didn't look like she had had a kid. She seemed more up tight in his opinion as well and he guessed her days of being free spirited were long over.
Grayfia stared into those hazel eyes of the man she once loved. Even after 200 years, Grayfia could still see the sadness and hurt, and knew that deep down he was still hurting from that night... all of which she had caused. He was still handsome and no doubt stronger than ever before.
She reached up to try and place a hand against his cheek, but Damian jerked his head away and gave her a warning look, causing her to drop her arm.
"This will be your only warning." He said in a cold, dark and sinister tone that made them shiver with fear. "If any of you or your family comes anywhere near me... I will not hesitate to end your miserable lives. Keep that spineless, pathetic coward away from me. Are we understood?"
"Crystal." Grayfia muttered. Damian grunted before he released them and Grayfia quickly ran to her husband, silent tears falling down her cheeks.
"How dare you threaten my family?" Rias demanded, putting her hands on her hips. "I read about you! You and my brother are the best of friends, like brothers even!"
"Were." Damian emphasised coldly. "And your brother and sister-in-law are responsible for that. Now get lost."
With that, he released her and walked away towards the others. He took in a deep inhale then exhaled. Seeing Sirzechs and Grayfia again after 200 years had caused that burning rage from before to return and he had to stop himself from finishing what ended 200 years ago when he battled Sirzechs for the right to be with Grayfia.
"You okay?" Serafall asked in concern.
He gave her a smile. "I am now. Okay, while I'd like to stay and chat... I have worried parents that haven't seen me in 200 years to see. Hell knows my mother will give me a slap."
They nodded and Damian started up a teleportation circle. Just before he disappeared, he saw Sirzechs stumble out the hole in the wall and look at him. Damian simply gave Sirzechs the middle finger before he disappeared through the teleportation circle.
"We are so fucked." Sirzechs whispered as Grayfia nodded sadly. Things were going to change In the Underworld and the Gremory Family would be feeling it without a doubt.
Mammon Estate
"Home sweet home." Damian said as he looked upon his childhood home. It had not changed in anyway in his 200-year absence. Beautiful roses decorated the walls of the palace in warm colors of red, orange, purple and blue while the pillar still had the burning torches always on to guide their guests to the front door.
Walking forward and walking up the large door, he grabbed the handle and gently pushed it open. He never needed a key since anyone of Mammon blood or who was a servant of the Mammon-Lucifer family was keyed into the palace and could walk in without a problem.
Anyone who tried to force their way in would get a nasty surprise in the form of being set on fire.
Walking inside he had to stop and look around at the large hallway as many memories of his childhood rushed back to him, such as when he took his first steps in this hallway, the times his father chased him through the halls or they played hide-and-seek.
"Let's see if dad's still got his office." Damian said as he walked up a staircase, knowing this place by heart and he soon found his father's office and entered to see his father at his desk, signing some paperwork.
"Yes, what is it?" Revan asked without looking up.
"Hi dad." Damian said, causing Revan's head to snap up and his eyes widened when he saw his son standing there.
Revan stood and quickly walked around the desk, grabbing his son in an embrace that Damian returned as Revan chuckled in happiness.
"Damian..." Revan took a step back and looked his son over. He could see there was a perfect mixture of himself and his wife in their son and could see that Damian had not really changed since they last saw him in terms of appearance. But Revan could tell his son had trained to get stronger in his time away and could feel his power level was much, much different than it was 200 years ago. "You look the same... but I can sense you are more powerful now."
"Well, I wasn't going to spend 200 years in exile doing nothing." Damian shrugged. "Aside from occasionally drinking, feasting and sleeping with women... I trained to become stronger than ever."
"It's good to have you back, son." Revan said with a smile. "Things haven't been the same without you."
"I missed you too, dad. You and Mom. I'm sorry it took 200 years for me to come back." Damian said but his father waved him off.
"Oh, your mother and I understood." Revan said. "We know what you went through would be hard and that you wanted to leave. though I wish you kept more in contact with us rather than letting us listen to rumours about you. One even said you had died."
Damian scoffed. "I'm hard to kill." His expression softened. "Where's Mom?"
"She's out in the gardens. Come." Revan guided his son out the office and they walked, catching up along the way. Five minutes later, they arrived at the open doorway to the gardens. Damian smiled at seeing this area, having run around this place quite a lot as a child.
Just in the distance, he could see his mother walking through the garden as she admired the beautiful flowers that made the Mammon estate so beautiful. Damian was overjoyed at seeing his mother again after so long... yet he hesitated to approach.
Revan saw this and patted his son on the shoulder. "I'll talk to her." He walked over to his wife while Damian remained in the doorway.
As Damian watched, nerves built up within him. Would his mother be angry? Sad? Furious? Upset? He knew his leaving had hurt her but it was never intentional. Hurting his mother was never something he wanted to happen.
He saw his mother turn in his direction, and she froze, her eyes wide as she looked at her son. Her hand shot up to her mouth, trying to muffle the sobs coming from her but it was no use. Her cries of happiness were too loud to be hidden. Along her cheeks tears flowed down them like river streams and showed no case of stopping.
Damian took slow strides before he began to run and his mother soon followed, grabbing the skirts of her dress to run towards her son. When she was only a few meters in front of him, she leapt from the spot and threw her arms around her only child and began crying into his chest as her arms shot around him and held him as tightly as possible.
Damian clutched his mother to him tightly, burying his face in the crook of her neck like he used to do as a child when scared or just wanted to see her.
"H-Hey mom." Damian said with a shaky breath, tears beginning to fall down his cheeks. "Sorry I took too long to come home."
Her response was a hearty laugh mixed through her crying and she leaned up and began placing motherly kisses all along his face. Sarlith then pulled away and placed her hands on her son's cheeks, looking at him with motherly love.
"You... are not going anywhere ever again, young man." She said sternly, but happily.
"I won't. I'm sorry I didn't keep in contact, I know I should've but-"
"Shh." His mother shushed him gently as she held him to her. "It's okay. I understand... I'm just glad I have my baby back in my arms. You better tell me and your father everything you've been up to in 200 years."
Damian exhaled at that. "Well, there's quite a lot that happened..."
And that's it for this chapter folks. I hope you all enjoyed it.
