Darkness

It was pitch dark with only passing blue lights as a source of light to a never-ending tunnel. It would have been a nerve-wracking site for the humans and cybertronians if they weren't currently unconscious at the moment.

The Autobots were knocked out once they passed the alien portal and a fluctuation of energy passed through them… it was almost like an EMP shutting their systems completely and putting them in stasis.

The Decepticons were also in the same situation as the Autobots. Still, the Nemesis has suffered quite a few critical damages to its navigational and space bridge systems that would take months of scrounging for resources to repair. But, repairing the space bridge would be nearly impossible to fix because there won't be any available resources and alien technologies that were compatible with cybertronians to get the space bridge up and running and make traveling a lot easier.

The humans were the only ones to escape with no serious injuries other than bumps, bruises, and getting knocked out by being thrown around in the air and getting whiplash by the force and speed that they were traveling when they had finally passed through the portal.

No sense of time made it impossible how long it had been. There was no sense of direction or any indication of where they were traveling and how far they were from home.

Granted it had anticipated that its young creations would find the technologies that have been left for them once they have reached a level in their evolution where they were in tier 2 in their technological progress.

What it did not anticipate was for outside forces to meddle with their plans and if the humans hadn't hidden the cybertronian's existence from the rest of the populace, it would had have to intervene and forcibly removed them and their presence from the planet before they could alter the course of its creation evolutionary journey.

But… It had seen that the interaction was very beneficial for them and it had already made a plan to transport them to another reality where maybe they could help their eldest creations to move back into the light again.

They have tested their eldest chosen creation to see if they were worthy of the mantle and they have passed the first test in being able to surpass the giant coloration of alien species that were hellbent on their extinction. They have also awoken the great plague and seen how its chosen creations would be able to protect life in the galaxy or end as the previous ones who hunted down their kind did. It had watched them team up with their previous foes and overcome their differences and dislike for one another to save the universe from endless death and destruction.

It had one final test for them to prove their worth if their chosen creation were worthy in upholding the mantle by challenging them by bringing in other from a completely different reality to challenge their viewpoints instance in how their preserve the galaxy around them

All of this was happening while the humans and cybertronians were ignorant of what was happening around them and the roles they were unwillingly placed in as both factions were dropped into different locations that were light years from each other and the indivertible encounters they would have.

Agent Fowler POV:

I woke up with a groan of pain and annoyance at the whistling sound pressing against where my head was resting. 'I was having a nice dream where I did not have filled tons of paperwork and just drinking a good nice cup of coffee while watching my favorite football team'.

As I opened my eyes I was greeted with a bright light hitting my eyes that I had to close them again and let them adjust. As my eyesight adjusted, what I was seeing nearly made me shit my pants as I saw the ground fast approaching.

I had to force my hands to move to secure the seat belt around me and brace myself as I felt slamming into the ground… hard! I felt that I was been pushed all over the place until finally, after about a dammed minute it came to a stop.

~30 minutes later~

I don't how long I spend just sitting and just trying to gather my bearings and push the pain that I felt through my collarbone and the rest of my upper body as I was being smashed through the side door. As well as the seatbelt tugging painfully at my collarbone to prevent my body from flying headfirst into the front windscreen.

"Magnus are you alright, that was a long height that you fell from… Magnus… Magnus!". I yelled at the dashboard to see if I could get a response but nothing. I was getting that the fall may have dislodged something or maybe it wasn't the fall but something else.

'I swear when we passed through the weird freaky portal, the moment Magnus passed through there was a surge in electricity before I was knocked out I could faintly Magnus cry from shock and pain. Whatever had happened it must have shut down Magnus or what is the word that Ratchet went a bot goes unconscious… Stasis! Yeah, he must have been put through a stasis lock… Oh, hell no if Magnus was knocked out then the others must be knocked as well and who knows how long, shit!'.

My thoughts were racing and if I was right then it would be impossible to contact the rest of the team and the children and June were out there It would dam too long to find them in this place.

I took a minute or two to look around to try to identify where we have landed but all I could see all around me was devastation, unlike anything I have ever seen before. It looked like the place was bombed by nukes which made my skin crawl just thinking about it.

The ground was devastated and it was hard to see clearly because of the ash that still hung around in the air. But I could see something sticking out in the distance and I could barely make out what it was but I would have to go and investigate myself.

As much as I did not want to leave Magnus behind, it would be better to scout ahead to get a better look at what we were dealing with and where it is that the damn thing sent us. Also, it would be better to seek shelter before it started to get dark soon. I would know how much daylight we have on this planet because I sure as hell don't think this is Earth just by the gut feeling that I have and usually it always points me in the right direction.

So I proceeded to get out and made sure to leave the door unlocked in case I have to run from whatever it is there is out there which I doubt but can't be too sure. If the Decepticons followed us here then I have to be on my toes since Magnus is out of commission at the moment.

I continue to walk and take everything in and I made sure to identify markers so that I knew how to retrace my steps to get back to Magnus. I saw broken-down vehicles that resemble that gave me a familiarity of human cars but more advance which was impossible and I saw vehicles that were all too weird for me to describe but were alien in design but not cybertronian.

As I continue to walk I saw the faint solute from what I saw becoming more and more clear until I stopped to get a perfect view of what I was seeing. It was a humongous city that surpassed the cities of New York and Las Vegas combined. But, I could see that this would have been a very prosperous city to being reduced to near ruins and I could see a lot of devastation that made it look like it was bombarded with missiles… which was not a good sign.

After just standing for a good minute or two I decided to head on back in case Magnus had awoken from his induced stasis lock. It took a good amount of time to head back toward where I have came from when I notice something sticking out from the ground.

I cautiously made my way over there when I saw a familiar-looking gun that look advanced in its design but still a familiar hang gun that soldiers are issued with. I carefully pick it up and I was filled with confusion about how this was possible.

'I am on a goddamn alien planet! There is no fucking way that aliens have hang guns similar to what we use. Then again I saw many vehicles that have a similar design to the ones I have seen back home. Unless where I am is not an alien planet but a planet that humans have visited before or occupied. It is going to blow up everyone's minds but first, we have to find them first and later sort out all this weird shit'.

I started to head my way back while putting the hang gun in the pocket of my suit. It may have been at least 30 minutes or maybe even less but I was able to get back and saw that Magus headlights were turned on and I immediately ran towards him.

"Magnus, I was starting to worried that you wouldn't wake up, how are you feeling?". Fowler had several questions in his head that had been drilled while listening to the Ratchet give a lecture on what to report in case any of the bots were unresponsive. Seen as human's fleshy exterior compared to their giant metal companions did not have to suffer energy deficiencies and coding errors.

"I am feeling fine Agent Fowler although as I am now unconscious my other systems have not come online rendering me immobile. I can not activate my T-Cog and my comn unit is disabled, I am afraid that my systems will take several hours to reboot for me to regain motor function and contact the rest of our comrades…" there was a slight pause almost as if Magnus was hesitating in saying it.

"I would need assistance on my mobility functions… I would relinquish the control to you Agent Fowler". I can tell that Magnus was uncomfortable in suggesting this because if it were me I would not want anybody to drive me or control me. I applied Magnus for his steady resolve and putting the importance on getting to the rest of the guys above his personal needs and discomfort with the situation.

I decided to get on with it and not make the big guy more uncomfortable than he already is and crank the gas and start to drive towards our destination. It was bad enough that the Ultra Magnus comm system was out of commission which meant that the rest of the team was in the same dilemma as us.

'Damn it not only are we stranded on some foreign world that is definitely not earth but we can't communicate with the rest of our team I hope June and the kids are alright in this mess.'

Navigating the desolate landscape has proven very tricky for both Fowler and Magnus as 2 hours have gone by and have to make several u-turns due to large craters blocking their path toward the city. Fowler started to notice how much worse the ground was getting as they were approaching the city and equipment could be seen lying on the ground that to him look uncomfortably human and other equipment which was foreign to him and appear alien in appearance.

So far there have been no bodies in sight but Fowler and Magnus knew that it was going to get worse once they approach the outskirt of the city. Luckily Magnus's comm system was back online and was able to contact the rest of the team to meet them just at the entrance of the city.

The sky had turned dark and there was no moon in sight it feel that the day was shorter than usual which solidify that they were in a foreign world that was once a habitual place that appear to have large crop fields and would have been beautiful to look at. Now it was a desolate hell landscape but apparently, it was caused by an outside force and not by the planet slowly coming to an end in its life cycle ending.

It has been several hours and Folwer was starting to get anxious by how long the team was taking to get towards their location Magnus was a steady rock and was helping calm Fowler somewhat but before he could make a comment how long it was taking. He saw lights in the distance and the roar of engines coming closer toward them.

Fowler got out of Magnus and saw him transformed into his bot form it appear he wasn't having any complications with his t-cog but that would be something that Ratchet will check the rest of the bots for as he saw the ambulance transformed and demanded the bots to get a check-up as the rest of the bots dropped their passengers and head the medic's commands rather than been subjected to a wrench in their helm which seems that the medic always has on his person.

June was like a mini Ratchet even though she was a nurse she should have a promotion although she did not carry a wrench in her person, her glare would make even Miko ashamed of herself and make him want to hide in a hole for the rest of his miserable life. Fowler only had slight bruising along his sides as well as Jack and Raf had similar injuries but poor Raf had a nasty bruise in between his eyes from where he slammed very hard with his glasses still on. Miko was the one who have the worst injury been that she have dislocated her shoulder by not securing her seat belt fast enough and not being prepared when she made an impact on the ground.

Both medical personnel ordered that they should get rest and continue the conversation in the morning when the sun will come up and they would scout inside the city to look for supplies and something to help them figure out where they are and be able to get help. For now, the bots will take turns acting as sentries in case any Decepticons showed up though it would highly unlikely it was better to be prepared.

What the Autobots and their partners did not know was that tomorrow their discoveries will shock them for the test of their stay in this unknown universe they have been placed in.
