Four people could be seen in Kal'tsit's office today. The owner of the room, Kal'tsit, was sitting on her seat behind her desk as she watched the guests who were in her office now.

Amiya, the leader of Rhodes Island was quietly waiting for someone to start talking as she stood to the side of Kal'tsit.

Exusiai was pacing back and forth in the middle of the room. Her face which people said would always have a smile on had a scowl instead as she was thinking hard about something.

And the man who was the one that was responsible for holding a meeting in her office on such short notice stood in front of her. His eyes stared at the panicked angel. He wasn't wearing His helmet anymore, so they could see his face.

Lin Ye finally sighed at what Exusiai was doing.

"Okay, okay." Lin Ye said while stroking his forehead, "Calm down."

Naturally, the angel was unwilling to follow his suggestion. She clenched her fists tightly and spun around to glare at him.

"You betrayed me!" Pointing her finger at him, the angel shouted, "I thought we were friends!"

Lin Ye was not really bothered by this.

"What are you even talking about?" Raising a brow, he asked, "How did I betray you?"

If she was mad before, Exusiai was furious now.

"Something happened to Mostima!" She shouted, "And you did not even bother to tell me about it!"

"Didn't I tell you?"

"I overheard it!"

"Same thing," Lin Ye stoically said.

Exusiai's expression on her face morphed into a face that should be found on a killer. Just as she looked like she was about to jump on him, Lin Ye raised his hand to stop her.

"Okay, that's enough. Let's calm down and think about this situation," Lin Ye sighed, "Panicking will not help us now."

Exusiai halted her attack and stared at him. After debating with herself, she was still thinking of pouncing on him.

Until Amiya came to his rescue.

"I agree with the Doctor," Amiya said, trying to persuade the angel, "We need to think about this calmly and rationally, Miss Exusiai."

Exusiai looked towards Amiya, before taking a deep breath and exhaled. After saying this, Exusiai finally calmed down and stared at Lin Ye.

Finally, Exusiai nodded at him.

Seeing that everyone's calmed down now, Lin Ye smiled and glanced back at the group.

"So, I will give you the details of what happened," He nodded to them, "It won't take long."

With that, he told them about the strange call that he got in the morning. Although Exusiai was in the room, Lin Ye told them about how he knew the news that he got about Yan. He trusted her so he did not need to worry about her leaking this out.

"You're a prince!" Exusiai shouted at him, "Since when?!"

Lin Ye sighed at this.

"Not the time, Exusiai," He stared at her, "We're talking about Mostima here."

Hearing this, Exusiai stopped her rant and took a deep breath. She calmed down and let him continue.

Kal'tsit, who up until now was silently hearing on the sidelines, finally spoke up.

"What did that woman tell you in that call?" Kal'tsit asked.

Lin Ye hummed as he played back the incident.

"She called me something," Lin Ye said, "That I am Mostima's comes animae or something."

"What?!"

The shout of Exusiai echoed in the office. Eyes landed on the shocked Angel.

The angel looked horrified at what Lin Ye said. She slowly raised her finger at him, and her mouth let out a few words from it.

"You…" She stammered out, "How?"

Lin Ye raised his brow at her, confused about why she was acting like this.

"What?" He hummed.

"Mostima's comes animae!" She continued shouting, "Him?!"

Seeing that the angel was going crazy now, rambling about Lin Ye being Mostima's Comes Animae, he gave up in hopes of getting anything from her. Lin Ye glanced at Kal'tsit for help.

"What does that mean?" Lin Ye asked her instead, "I am not fluent in the Lateran language."

Kal'tsit took a deep breath and sighed at his comment.

"From my understanding," Kal'tsit hummed, "It means that you are the most important person in her life."

Lin Ye's mind came to a halt. He replayed what Kal'tsit just said to him in his mind a couple of times to make sure he was not hearing things. After he was sure he did not mishear her, Lin Ye was even more confused now.

"Huh?"

That was the best Lin Ye's mind could come to respond to that.

Amiya was intrigued.

"So the rumours about the Doctor were true," She gasped, "He really is like that."

Lin Ye did not even have the energy to correct her. He already accepted that those rumours would forever haunt him till the end of time. What good would come out if he tried to deny them?

It only made him look even more guilty.

"That's impossible!" Exusiai barged into the conversation again. She threw her hand at where Lin Ye was, "They only met once! ONCE!"

Lin Ye was getting tired of all of this.

"Let's just ignore that for now," Lin Ye sighed, "Exusiai, what do you know about Mostima that might help me understand what is going on with her right now."

She glared at the man and just as she was about to shout at him again, she stopped herself.

Why you might ask? It's quite simple.

Lin Ye was staring at her with a cold expression on his face.

"Don't waste our time, Exusiai," He warned, "The more time we waste, the higher chance that Mostima is going to get hurt, or even worse…."

Exusiai stared at his cold gaze for a while before she finally got a hold of herself. What he said was right. She needed to take this seriously.

"Mostima's a fallen angel. It's something that Sankta become if they do something against our code." She started to explain, "Normally the government does not care about them that much. However, Mostima was an exception. They had their eyes on Mostima for some reason."

Lin Ye took in all of this.

"Do you know why this is the case?" Kal'tsit asked, "Maybe that is related to all that is happening now?"

Lin Ye nodded at this, agreeing with Kal'tsit's point.

… Wait a minute. No.

If this was related to the government of Laterano, did that mean Lin Ye needed to fight another country?

… It did.

Dammit.

Lin Ye cannot deny this, unfortunately. If this continued, he was going to attack every country's government by the end of his life.

This was not the life he wanted. But now, it's stuck with him.

Ignorant of his current dilemma, the group continued with their discussion.

"I am sorry but that's all I know about Mostima unfortunately," Exusiai apologised, "She didn't tell me anything about her situation. Even when I tried my best to get it out of her, her lips were sealed."

Mostima is a fallen.

The government was looking over her shoulder with great interest.

She kept this a secret from those who knew and cared for her.

The rest of them thought hard about what they should do now with this new information.

Finally, the quiet atmosphere was too hard for Exusiai to bear. Steeling herself, she said

"That's it!" She exclaimed, "We are near Laterano now, right? I am going to save her with, or without help!"

Before she could storm out of the room, however, Lin Ye quickly stopped her by putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Let go of me!" She struggled to break free from his hold, "Mostima needs me!"

Lin Ye just held his grip tighter on Exusiai's shoulder.

"Don't do anything rash," Lin Ye warned her, "If someone did hurt Mostima and kidnapped her, that person must have something up their sleeve, that person must be strong. You know better than almost everyone how strong Mostima is. If someone was able to overpower her, then we need to have a plan."

With how reasonable Lin Ye was telling her, Exusiai finally stopped struggling and calmed down.

"From what we know you might be an important person to Mostima too, perhaps even more than me" Lin Ye suddenly said to her.

Exusia spun her head to him. Baffled.

"What?"

"After the call ended, I got a message from the caller," He explained, "They told me not to tell you all of this mess. That means that you are someone that Mostima also cares about, cares about so much that she doesn't want you to find out about this current predicament"

Exusiai was stunned by this before a smile slowly grew on the angel's face.

"Mostima cares about me...," She muttered under her breath. Her halo glowing brighter than before

Amiya and Kal'tsit on the other hand were impressed by how Lin Ye handled the situation. They didn't know if what he said was true or not, but it was effective. He managed to calm a panicked person with only a few words.

Lin Ye did not even realise that his impression of him had increased at that moment because of how busy he was thinking about what to do now.

"Amiya, Kal'tsit." He glanced at both of them, "Have any suggestions? I am all ears."

Exusiai also nodded at them.

Both of them thought hard about what to do.

Amiya was the first to come up with something.

"How about Mister Emperor?" She suggested.

"The Boss?" Exusiai didn't expect her old boss to be mentioned, "Why him?"

Kal'tist understood what Amiya was trying to do.

"Although he was your boss Exusiai, he was also Mostima's," Kal'tsit explained, "From what I know about him, Mr. Emperor was not someone that hires anyone he sees. Mostima must have given some information about her to him to be able to work under Mr. Emperor."

Exusiai considered this.

"That does sound like the Boss," She confirmed, "So we need to talk to him?"

Lin Ye nodded.

"Seemed so," Lin Ye said, "I think you should go."

This made the angel's eyes widen.

"Me?!" She placed her hand on her chest and looked at him, "But Mostima-."

"I think there was a reason why the person on the phone didn't want you to know. There is a high chance that the people that are responsible for hurting Mostima are the government," Lin Ye explained his reasoning. His eyes stared deep into hers, "Now I will ask you this, Exusiai."

"Are you going to betray your own country, for the person you care about?"

Exusiai was speechless at what Lin Ye said, She did not know what to say to him.

However, that was enough for him.

"You are much better at getting information from the penguin than anyone on this Landship. You need to go to Emperor," Lin Ye said, "Let me go and check on Mostima for you. Trust me."

Exusiai was conflicted about what to do. She didn't want to betray her country, but she wanted to help Mostima as well. Her eyes stared at Lin Ye who was sure of himself that he would take care of Mostima for her.

Normally Exusiai wouldn't believe in anyone if it was related to Mostima. However, Mostima acted so differently around Lin Ye when he was involved. Just by meeting him once, Mostima completely changed into someone that she never even knew.

Mostima must have trusted Lin Ye so much that he even got her gun, and called him his Comes Animae.

So as her friend, she needed to put her trust in someone that Mostima trusted.

"I understand," Exusiai finally nodded seriously at him, "Don't let anything bad happen to her. You hear me!"

Lin Ye chuckled at her threat before nodding, "Of course, I will make sure Mostima is safe and sound." He smiled at her

Lin Ye then glanced at Kal'tsit who looked conflicted in all of this.

"You already made your decision?" She asked him.

Although her eyes were narrowed at him, Lin Ye still stood tall.

"Yes," He nodded at her. He then smiled at her, "Sorry for being a bother."

Kal'tsit sighed at his reply.

"I know I can't stop you," Kal'tsit said, "But no matter who the other party is or what the purpose is, you can't go there unguarded. Laterano is not as kind as they portray themselves to be to the world. You need to be careful."

Kal'tsit eyes landed on the angel beside him, making Exusiai hold her back straight.

"Operator Exusiai," Kal'tsit said, "You are assigned to go to Lungmen and discuss with Mr. Emperor what he knows about Operator Mostima. Am I clear?"

The sniper nodded.

"Yes ma'am," She confirmed.

Kaltist nodded back at her. Then her eyes focused on Lin Ye now.

"As for you, Doctor," Kaltist folded her arms around herself, "You will be going to Laterano."

Lin Ye was about to nod at her, but she was not done yet.

"However, you are not going there as an Operator of Rhodes Island," She said sternly at him. "You will be going there as the Doctor of Rhodes Island. Do you understand?"

Lin Ye hummed at how she said this. He knew what she was doing, trying to intimate him with the responsibility of his position and that every action that he takes will affect the company.

Although that was the case, Lin Ye still had a small smile on his face.

"Crystal clear, Kal'tsit" He nodded
