"Do you have any defensive magic, or magic that might hide my footprint? If we can conceal it, we may be all the better for it." I start. Medea's eyes started reading something that I couldn't see, and she started scrolling around that invisible interface, and she finally came up with an answer.

"I could potentially fortify your mind to prevent your footprint from being left by you in the future, though the defensive magic I have mostly consists of things intended more for combat than for what you may be picturing." She responded.

"I'd been picturing something like Harry Potter magic, almost, if you've read that." At her careful nod, I continue. "Like those wards they put up around Hogwarts, that repel muggles, and keep certain people out." She frowns a little, but she looks back at the invisible interface, scrolling around again.

"That would take a lot of time and practice on my part to construct something like that, but it wouldn't be impossible." She mused. "We might not have a ton of time, so I urge you to try your best to make what you can of this. But even if we don't have a lot of time, maybe we can run them away from here, and buy more time. But we make our stand here, to protect this base." I say intently.

She nods again. "I agree. While I maintain my opinion that the three of you should never have been brought here, you're here now, and you will each be a valuable asset to protecting this base. Now, if that's all, I should go back to business, and start practicing more to try and make such a ward." She finishes, standing up to leave.

I sat there, alone, for a few moments while I thought to myself. At least, before I realized Elijah also asked to speak with me. Remembering that, I jumped up, and darted to the elevator, arriving shortly at the floor with our houses. I stepped out of the elevator, and glanced over at the bench where I saw Hazel and Elijah talking.

"Sorry for taking so long, and apologies for interrupting. What did you need me for?" I asked, sliding onto the bench next to Hazel. "I wished to discuss the powers your family seemed to have in that dream. If we can strategize, I can take one of their powers during a fight, and turn the tide." He replied.

"I can do that. Michael, one of the twins, was manipulating this blue energy. He made it into a ball that he was tossing around. Fletcher, the shorter of the two, can manipulate lightning, seemingly made of the same energy as Michael's powers. My mother seemingly was able to see through walls, or possibly can see electronic interfaces nearby. Something of that sort." I rambled.

"My father, as mentioned, could see me, despite me only dreaming of this. He could dispel me from the dream, too. That's all the information I have." I finished. Elijah looked to be deep in thought for a moment, before Hazel piped up. "You could take Michael's power, and make a shield out of it." My eyes widened. "Elijah, can you get Medea here? I have a plan." I asked, standing up to pace.

By the time Medea got here, I had the System create a screen that describes the possibilities. "What is it that's so important you need to call me here?" She said sharply. "As a temporary measure, System? Party invite Medea and Elijah." Medea frowned at the abrupt notification, but accepted it, as did Elijah.

I moved the screen with the plan to sit in front of them, and I waited for a response. "That would make my job easier, if Elijah could do that." Medea pondered. "I can manage that, though it would be easier if I could practice with anything similar." Elijah added.

I put some thought into it, and sighed. "Is there any way for you to just copy a power, and not steal it?" I asked him, a dangerous thought creeping to my mind. "It would potentially give me a cooldown before I can use my power again, but yes, in theory." He responded.

I closed my eyes, and ushered the Force around me to create a barrier. I felt my FP drain, and I heard a "Ding!" as I developed an altered version of a power I used very little in the KotOR games, being Force Shield.

New Power Unlocked!

Force Shield, Level 1: When you activate this power, you create a barrier, varying in size, that deflects energy damage. It's great for stopping annoying twin brothers from infiltrating their older brother's friend's secret bunker!

FP Cost: Varies in cost by size, and by energy damage taken.

"Copy my powers. The power I just forcefully developed should work." Hazel snorted. "Alright, Superboy." She commented. "Very funny. Why not Superman, at least? I'm going to be eighteen in very nearly ten months!" I complain.

"Superman's earliest comic appearances were marked by the fact he was always getting new powers for no reason at all until years later, when they settled on his base powers that we all know today." She said, a smirk on her face, "I'm sure you can figure out what I mean by that."

"Still, why not Superman?" I asked, a small grin tugging at Elijah's face at our antics. "You're not eighteen yet, and as such, still a boy." She declared. I made a face, and turned to Elijah. "Powers, right. I apologize. The two of you make quite the duo." He chuckles. He closes his eyes, and the System pings me for mental intrusion, and I shrug it off, letting him in.

Moments later, he opened his eyes, and he shifted uncomfortably, like he was being stung. "The power isn't cooperating with me. Something doesn't like that I copied it." He noted. "Try to check your powers, and their levels." I told him. He conjured up the screen, and he raised a brow. "Level 26 in Force Levitation? Does that sound right?" He asked.

I grinned. "That's just right. You can let the power go. I'll train up the shield the best I can, and while myself and Kara take the front lines against my family, you can mimic my powers, and the two of you can set up the ward." I propose. "That sounds like a plan." He agrees, and Medea nods.

"So Medea, just practice setting up a ward like that on a preexisting barrier, if possible. I'll train up with my powers and combat skills with Kara and Hazel, and Elijah, you can take this." I said, pulling my vibroblade from my inventory and handing it to him.

"Just in case you need something to defend yourself with. Otherwise, just chill out." I told him. He stood, nodding at me, then he turned with Medea to leave. I looked at Hazel and grinned. "Fancy a spar? To keep it fair, I won't use powers, and I won't use my lightsaber." She shook her head. "It might not be a good idea to do that until you get another vibroblade to practice with. I saw the training dummies in the arena, though. I'm sure they can use a thrashing." She reasoned.

That was fair, honestly. So I went back down to the arena, and I ignited my lightsaber. The dummies started moving, and as projectiles started getting hurled at me, I closed my eyes, and let the Force guide my hand to block as many as I could with my lightsaber, the rest getting deflected by the Force.

As I sensed a dummy with a sword approaching me, I rolled under it, bisecting it with my lightsaber. I started darting around, slicing through them as I dodged and deflected the arrows and bullets, parrying the swords and batons from the dummies when necessary.

It wasn't long before the dummies were laying on the floor. I heard a muffled sound, and I closed my eyes to turn on Force Sight. I scanned around, and spotted a dark red outline, and I quickly identified it as Kara. "You know, for all our training, you'd think you could be a little more stealthy." I called out. She shrugged, and popped up from behind a bush, and I deactivated Force Sight.

"It was worth a try. I heard you were raring for a spar, so here I am. Glad to see you got your lightsaber working, too." She smiled. "I'll say we can use powers, but I won't allow myself to use my lightsaber. I loaned out my vibroblade to Elijah, and I need to focus my training on powers anyways." I proposed. "Ding!"

Journal Entry Added!

I checked it, and grinned at what it says.

Journal Entry: The Duel!

Beat Kara in a duel without a lightsaber or vibroblade! Show that Jedi Guardian that the Jedi Consular's method to victory is a shocking amount of power via the Force!

"I'm fine with that." She agreed, jumping down to the arena floor. She summoned her vibroblade, and I dropped my lightsaber into my inventory. My hands were sparking with Force Lightning, and she lunged forward. I rolled away, blasting Force Lightning at her. She jumped out of the way, and Force Jumped to me, swinging her sword over her head, and I leapt to my side, Burst of Speed activating to slide behind her, blasting her with lightning.

She stumbled forward, turning to face me. "Rude. How about a taste of your own medicine?" She asked, her hands sparking. I generated a Force Shield in front of me just as she sent a shock at me, getting it blasted back at her. She eyed the shield. "Impressive work." She noted. I started trying to think of a plan, until it hit me.

I started thinking back to Geometry class. I didn't remember much of it, but hey, the arena's a near-perfect circle. I'll use what I can, since I can't use weapons, and I don't want to run dry of FP. I backed up so I was around the center of the arena, hoping this would work, because honestly, this would be really cool.

I generated shields at set intervals around the arena, each one opposite of another one, hoping Kara wouldn't notice. Fortunately, the shields are hard to see if you're not actively looking for them. Electricity started crackling up and down my body, and I released a burst of it towards each shield as Kara stalked towards me, and I rolled far out of the way as each bolt came back to the center and created a small blast, as one of them flew off course and nailed Kara in the knee.

She yelped, and that knee gave out. I stopped the shields, and approached her. "Yield?" I asked lightly, kneeling down to help heal her knee with Master Heal. "Yeah. That sucked. Don't do that again, please." She requested. "Understood. Used for enemies only then." I agreed, standing. "You might go a bit easy on that leg for a few hours, but you should be fine." I informed her. She nodded, standing up.

"If you wanna rest on the bench here, I do need to start practicing these shields more, so you'll have company, if you want it." I say, as I begin practicing with the shields as I said, stretching them in size, generating and sustaining as many as I could all at once.

I kept doing that for what felt like hours on end before I heard the elevator ding, and I turned to face Medea again. "We have a problem." She said grimly.
