Back on the Thousand Sunny, the crew was occupied with showing our new guests from Wano around the ship.

"The Sunny here was built to impress. So I'm glad it meets your approval, little bro! Isn't it super?!" Franky told Momonosuke and Kin'emon who were excited about the ship.

"I concur that this vessel is quite super!" The two of them said in response to Franky.

"Hey, Momo, how about a tour of the inside too?" Nami asked the boy. "I'd love to show you."

"Would you?! I shall allow it then." He said with the biggest grin on his face.

"Come on!" Nami said as she took Momo by the hand and walked past me to show him around the place.

Still recovering from the events of Punk Hazard, I decided to sit down and catch my breath for a little bit first while I can.

'Even now, it doesn't feel real that everything happened the way that it did. I feel lucky to have so many adventures to share with her now.'

After a while, I got up to look for Law. When I approached him, he was deep in thought, trying to figure out what was so significant about the little charm.

"Hey, I see you still kept it with you. Thanks for keeping it this whole time." I spoke up, making him look over to me.

"You said this was some sort of key, but what exactly am I supposed to do with it?" Law asked.

Holding the charm in his hand, I knew that it was time to let him know about everything. We were sailing on the way to Dressrosa... With how things have turned out against Doflamingo, we won't have the luxury of time once we get on land.

"I said before that I have proof, so-"

"If I decide that it's not enough to convince me, I'm not willing to hear any more about it." He added in, bluntly. "Better yet, I think it's best to focus on the more pressing matters. Not this nonsense."

"What are you talking about?" I asked, worried on what he was implying.

Walking over to the railing of the ship, he held his hand over it and dangled the necklace loosely from his grip.

"Wait! No!" As quick as I could, I reached for his arm and pulled on the sleeve to bring him back from the edge. "What do you think you're doing?!"

He looked at me with an eyebrow raised and then gave the smallest hint of a smile.

"So that's how it is then." Law nodded once making me release him and take a step back from him.

"Wait. You were... Testing me?" I realized.

"Seems that I was right then. There is something out there, but the only thing I can't figure out is why you'd tell me and not someone else like Straw Hat."

"I have my reasons." I said. "Look, everything will make sense soon enough. Meet me in the library. I'll answer all of your questions there. Just don't do something like that again! You had me worried there for a moment."

When we walked off to go our separate ways, I looked back to see him hold the necklace in his hand and look at it a moment longer before he turned the corner and went on ahead of me to wait.

Once I made it into my room, I looked through my desk and under a set of books I had scattered in random piles and finally found what I was looking for. I picked up a box, inside held the truth along with the message I had to pass on to him. Before I left, I pulled out the most convincing piece yet and put the small item in my back pocket to show it to Law last.

After a few minutes of waiting for me, I opened the door of the library to see Law was leaning against a shelf, a book opened in hand. When he noticed I arrived, he closed it and put it back where he found it. He walked up to the table of the room when I carefully placed the medium sized worn out box in the center of it.

"What is this?" Law questioned me as he sat down in one of the empty chairs, placing the necklace with the small vial on the surface right next to the box.

"There's only one way to find out." I answered, lightly pushing the box towards him. "Look inside of it."

Opening it up, he took out the first item: A half melted pen, the next was a piece of a charred stethoscope, a partly blackened ring, and last there was a photograph with only a piece of it remaining as the rest had burned off. A few small discolored buttons lay at the bottom of the box as well. He inspected each item but the look of confusion of his face didn't change until he had flipped over the picture to see it's image and gasped in shock. He had recognized the people on it.

"W- where did you get this from?" Law asked, his hand visibly shaking as he stared at the photo.

"These items are what was salvaged from your birthplace, the city of Flevance." I explained.

"See these?" Pulling out one of the old buttons from the bottom of the box, I held it in the palm of my hand. "These buttons are what was left of the teddy bear your sister used to hold on to when she was bedridden." I said.

He didn't say anything right away as he looked over the items again now that he knew what he was looking at. He sat down in the chair as he held each item at eye level, now understanding where it came from.

"Why would you go there? How did you know about that place?" He asked me, his face showing mixed expressions as several questions raced through his mind. "...Exactly how much do you know?"

"Wait, I've never been there. These were all given to me to finally pass on to you." I started answering. "I only knew about the city well after it had fallen. I was born in the South Blue, news like that took a while to come by."

Reaching over to pick up the necklace, I opened the charm up for the first time. His eyes showed surprise when he realized it was carrying something inside of it. It's contents were a singular and small tightly folded up piece of white paper with numbers written on it which I handed over to Law.

"Coordinates?" He wondered. "Listen, if this is just to take me back there then I refuse to go there." He said, no hesitation in his voice.

"It will lead you there, but... Listen, it's a lot to take in all at once. I know."

"It's not making sense, how did you come across all of this... From all the way out to the South Blue?" He gestured to the items on the table. "Someone with a direct line to treasure would've taken it all for themselves. Since you haven't, what does this 'treasure' do for me? It's... Somewhere in the city?"

"No, not anymore. That's only because..." From my back pocket, I pulled out the final part. A recent photograph I held in my hand as I looked it over with a small smile as I recalled the memory of that day. "Law, this picture is of the day I enlisted in the marines. Next to me is my best friend." I said as I handed it over to him.

When he saw the picture, a younger me in a brand new uniform standing next to a girl of the same age sitting on a wheelchair. The girl had burn scars over half of her body, and yet she was wearing the biggest smile on her face as she posed in for the picture.

"This is...!" Law suddenly jumped up from his seat, making the chair tumble behind him as he looked up at me. "Is it really her?!" He asked me, a hint of desperation in his voice as he grabbed on to my wrist in reaction. "I thought that I had... How? I saw the fire... I couldn't go back in time to... She survived it?" He took a step back from me when he realized he held onto me.

"She's the reason I set out to sea to find you. Lammy wanted you to know, she wanted you to see that you saved her that day." I said.

"Saved her?! There's no way that I... I always believed it was my fault that she..." Law trailed off, visible pain on his face as memories of that day flooded his mind.

"When I first met her, she couldn't find you when she got out of there. She, uh, told me about it all, the destruction of Flevance... She thought you didn't make it, until the first wanted poster came in. So I enlisted in hopes of arresting you, for her... But you turned out to be a hard person to track down!" I said with a short laugh.

"So this picture was of the day you left?" Law asked.

"Yeah, the day I went out to sea. Years later, I abandoned my post with hopes of joining the Straw Hats. That happened after I found out of that chaos back at Sabaody Archipelago two years ago, where you finally appeared. Then again on Marineford where Luffy was. I figured that following Luffy was the best choice, because I would've never been on Punk Hazard otherwise... The coordinates are written on a Vivre card, hers." I said.

"I see now... This is what leads me to her. To Lammy. To what you said was more valuable than the One Piece itself..." He sat back down on the chair after fixing it back to where it was then his hand landed on the old burnt stethoscope. "My father used to wear this all the time, along with his favorite pen. Even mother's ring she always wore... How did Lammy survive the white lead? Even without the fire, the last time I saw her, it was already too late to..."

"The truth is... She shouldn't have survived. It's nothing short of a miracle. You see, Lammy only lived because she was taken in by Atlas. The same as me."

*A/N I almost used the name "Alatus" from Genshin Impact, but settled on Atlas in the end.
