Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Machine Might. Enjoy the 3100-word chapter. I don't own Destiny or Warhammer, Bungie and Gameshop do.
The lord of metal was something she didn't understand, nor could he understand. The idea made her question what was coming up next.
It stood surrounded by corpses of the enemy that hadn't been yet explained to him… Still? He did not concern himself with it, not as he could have.
"Interesting." It stated, slowly raising itself to its full height, interested in how this would be.
It withdrew its scythe to his side, curious for now. They had been a lot more prepared for now, there were a lot more nightmares here, ones which hadn't yet been explained, that could be explained.
"Hmm…" It added as an orb floated towards him.
The Necron turned, raising itself to its full height. There was more involved here than had been before. The idea made him curious for now.
The orb flew towards him. he didn't recognize the technology, yet? He expected it was a problem… This entire planet was a problem, but not to him. Not to the rest of the people here. Whatever this place was?
Well, the lord set out to find it. he placed his scythe on his side and grasped at the orb which opened to reveal a drone no smaller than one of his fingers.
Fascinating, some new form of technology? He wanted his kin to study it and learn how it ticked or could tick. There was a lot to be done, but this wasn't one of them. he reached out for the droid, curious for now. It had been something little.
He tilted his head as it rested in the palm of his hand. What was this little trinket that stood where it had been a few seconds ago? What had it been to attract him in this manner, hmm? It made him tilt his head, unsure of what to call it for now.
"What little trinket… Are you?" He questioned as he rested it in the palm of his hand for now.
It made him tilt his head. The ideas punching through his skull? Well, it hadn't yet to question before now. He was too interested before now. He hadn't yet found anything to properly focus upon. If this was a real contest? Well, he'd be focused more and more on what to do.
The Necron raised his palm to which the small machine settled. Fascinating, yet not Necron design. It had piqued his interest and had to be studied more.
The Necron Lord raised his hand to summon a Night Scythe transport to properly escape this barren plain and simple.
He wasn't rewarded by the sight of such a chariot out of here which told him a lot more than something had blocked the signal. Such a strange little thing to him as he turned and looked down at the idea of the droid before now. There was a lot more to handle before now. There was a lot more to mentally unpack there was a lot more to focus on…
And now? He just hadn't the proper idea for now. It boggled his mind too much at the now. He was having too much fun for now. The idea hadn't seemed to be something fun; it was going to end before now.
He hadn't the idea in his mind for now. There was a lot more to question for now. He sighed, prepared for the best. He hadn't the proper focusing problems. She had something else for now. There was a lot more to handle as of now.
"We should get inside before more of the Fallen show up." The machine stated as the Necron turned back to look around.
"Fallen? Hmm, indeed. We have much to discuss." He said before the machine vanished into the wind for a few more seconds of interest.
He hummed a metallic noise from his throat and seemed to turn in place before slowly starting to march upwards as of now. It hadn't yet seemed as if this came down to it. He clicked his tongue against the top of his mouth. He hadn't the idea of what it was, but he did know what this was going to handle as of now.
He smiled and turned and then departed, there was a lot more to focus upon now like the Fallen. If anything? He had a lot more to study, a lot more to see and do on this small little marble of a planet… Yes, he hadn't yet seemed to find much evidence of this properly turning out the way he wanted it to have been if the positions had been twisted and all had been revealed properly.
Yes, too many pieces to this puzzle and too little time to properly fix it all up. He hadn't wanted it that way, but he'd get it the way he intended if nothing else. There was a lot more on the mind. He had a lot more to handle as of now. There was a lot more to do as if nothing else. He sighed preparing for nothing else as of now.
He rubbed at his temples only for the small machine to slightly come back to his amusement. He did not grab at it, unsure if his body would have ground the object to shards and metal if he attempted to do so.
"Please, tell me, little one… Where is this destination?" He questioned before he held up his palm.
"Earth." The machine stated to which the Necron hummed.
"Terra? Hmm… Seems the humans have desecrated it more than we assumed in the last few centuries." He added before proceeding up the hill. "Please, enlighten me. What is a 'Fallen'? You refer to the insectoid abominations I cut down like chaff?" He questioned before the machine blinked in a retort.
"Yes. I believe more of their skiffs will come if they do not report in. Their hunt you down." He said before the lord chortled.
"Let them try, little one… I am not so easy to kill." He stated before vanishing further into the ruins. "I have questions if that is fine with you. Many of which there seems to be no abundance of answers… This planet is different, yes? It does not feel like Earth." He added with a dismissive hum to himself.
There was a moment when the drone seemed to vanish into his body. He sighed but allowed it. The drone was not meant for frontline combat which is just a question before now. He sighed before now. There was a hum as of now. The idea had something as of now. The idea seemed to be a weird little thing before now as his head seemed to question what to do next. He hummed, he seemed to be bored as of now, questioning before he hummed before he tilted his head. The Necron Lord could only chortle mechanically, greeting them, a lot more vocally. There was a second of silence as he seemed to question what to do next.
He sighed, hanging his scythe off his hand, and greeting the 'Fallen' with an eagerness to understand them, to find how to properly handle them more eagerly. He hadn't yet seemed as if he'd be ok for now. There was a lot more to handle, a lot more to question before he sighed, rubbing at his temples.
He seemed as if there was more on his mind, focusing on what to do next. He had to tell the rest of his court and find upon which of his peers to tell them what was to come. This was not his Earth he believed, but then again. He wasn't on the line for long, he wasn't going to properly be able to focus until the apparent ideas slowly started to float down.
This was to be a very interesting day. one which was all too easily debated upon as his thoughts slowly started to collect themselves within his steel trap of a mind. Yes, today was to be an excellent day to properly focus upon.
He could only smile, grinning as he twirled his weapon, slowly yet surely advancing into the group of enemies. It only made sense for him to smack them across the face with the shaft of his weapon. He could only see them as vermin, ants to be crushed under the weight of his weapon. Yes, this was to be the most fun he's had yet. A massive load of it to the gills made him laugh as he honestly decided how best to pop that balloon.
If anything? It just made him more curious, what other secrets had this place hidden from him and the other Necrons? There was something else that hadn't yet been questioned before now. There was something else that hadn't made sense and he'd find it. If anything? All this did was make him a lot more eager.
She hadn't focused before he sighed as of now. He sighed before now. There was a lot more before he hummed than now. There was a lot more to question, a lot more to focus upon. Yet? This planet hadn't properly seemed to be questioned before now.
Still? He hadn't a lot more to handle. There was simply more chaff to cut through. He'd do it easily as if they were pinpricks of mosquitoes or whatever humans seemed to have considered monsters back then. It was only making him more and more amused to have seen for now. He hadn't yet questioned before now as of the second as time.
Time was something he had far more apparent in his mind. It would cut through them all if he had to. There was only so much he could do.
Well, so much before he became bored before he wanted a challenge. There were a lot of those around, but it didn't help, he wanted more. There was always more. Always something else he could do for now… It didn't add up… It never did. There was something else upon now. He didn't want to properly question before he seemed to be over for now. There was a lot more to question before he sighed, bored, unsure of what this was going to be bothered for now. There was a lot more on his mind before he sighed. He tilted his head, pondering what to question for now.
There was more upon this was to question he seemed to handle before as of now. There was a lot more too, be over this was for now. There was a lot more to question now.
There was something to be on the level it hadn't yet been on the level.
There was more to question before he seemed to be as of now. There was more to be questioned.
He hadn't the proper idea before this came down to it. He hadn't the focus, but he had the patience. He sighed now. There was a lot more to do as of now.
He sighed before he clicked his fingers before he hummed to himself. He sighed and metallically cut through them like the sacks of meat they were. He knew more than anything what they could be doing, what any of them could have been done. He sighed before as of now. He hummed before he questioned what to focus on next after cutting through these annoying ants in his way. They were but wheat in a field and he was the farmer. There was nothing else he'd do besides gut them, sending them all flying to the ground.
He parted one of the larger creatures in two, sending its corpse flying to the ground as he stepped over them, crushing their bones as he kicked another, sending it to the side.
They were skilled enough for one of the larger creatures to slam his weapons into the hilt of his scythe. He chuckled metallically, looking at them as if he would a small child.
They had a lot more to have questioned something. He didn't know what it had been for the time being. He didn't know what it had been for now. There was a lot more to have handled. It would have been something else for the time being. he clicked his metallic fingers against one another as he looked around. He hadn't the proper idea of what was coming and how this had been coming. It hadn't yet seemed as if he had something on his mind.
He hadn't a problem with such things…. What he did have a problem was with how this had been handled and how they had to have been on the backdrop for him to get pressured into such a thing. It hurt more than it should have for him to have gotten to this stage of life… Or undeath, or whatever he believed had gotten there. He didn't know what it was, only that it had been far more horrible than it should have been.
It brought such a thing before he sighed while he questioned what to do something for now. It was a lot more to have gotten to such. It hadn't yet gotten where it should have, shouldn't have brought them anything. He wasn't sure of what this planet was like. However? There was a lot more to have prepared for.
He brought up his scythe before he started to have marched forwards into the desert. He could tell something else was coming and he had been unprepared for now.
There was all too much on his mind while he clicked his fingers to which he seemed to find the same metallic clang comforting. It was soothing before he questioned what to have done for the time being. For him? All it meant was that he had a lot more to get done. He didn't know what was coming or how odd it'd have been. All he had done was be dealt an amusing little distraction for the time being. They amused him far more than he expected it them, far more than he had wished it had been done.
Still? In his mind? They had a lot more to bring to the table if they'd be killing him. It was only fair that he brings all of his skill to the table if they wished to bring theirs. He cleaved one of the smaller creatures in half with one strike which made him sigh at the fact they hadn't the skill to back up their bravado.
"Can a single one of you provide a substantial challenge? Can a single one of you honestly make me slowly need to provide some damn measure of effort into slaying you?" He asked before he clutched the scythe.
He gripped one of the pitiful creatures by the throat, slowly bringing it up to his high with some interest now.
"These are to be your best warriors? They cannot even scuff my armor. I demand a challenge, not simply due to the small little pride of it, you've got to have better warriors than this." He said before squeezing his hand.
The pressure easily crushed the warrior's skull to mush in his hand which burned away easily it had been something that made him far more interested in what. To have to do next. He wasn't at all sure before he got done for now.
"What is to happen if you cur attempts to strike me? What will happen if you don't wish to have to focus? You all don't strike me as warriors of sufficient heft." He stated before he tossed the body aside.
There was no real doubt these creatures were dangerous. He felt some amount of pain from their weapons. What angered him beyond belief was the fact that he had been stuck here and yet none of them deigned to give a single damn answer. If anything? He had some more problems on his mind.
The oddness didn't seem to ever end. He didn't understand it. if anything? All this did was push him to a spot where he should have been.
He watched them retreat and sighed before he folded down his sigh. He didn't know what it should have been, he didn't know what to have done for the creatures who had escaped for now. The Necron lord was simply seemingly bored when it comes down to it. They had a lot more problems to focus on and yet. He was bored, so bored it hurt him at the time.
"I need answers and yet I get none. I need answers and yet I have none. It hurts my brain to honestly focus on this." He said before he sighed and glanced around. "I'm putting an end to this today and it hurts." He seemed to question before now while she seemed to have to handle it next.
Perhaps such a thing was destiny and perhaps it wasn't. if anything? He had such a measure where he'd find it to be rather odd and yet… Rather soothing for now. it was clear more than anything just how odd it'd have all been. It was something odd and something mirthful to the unfeeling machine… Perhaps it was simply the idea he found such a thing to be beneath him if at all. It was all too much, far too much, and yet not enough at all, such a thing made this more and more of an annoyance, a terror, and such a thing it did not at all bother them to have done it for now. There was a lot more annoying business to have to deal with anyway which made this properly and properly still end a certain way for now.
He laughed at the moment, laughed at how little he'd recall such an issue and how often it may or may not become. Then, he turned and retreated. There'd be time to sulk and get over it when he had returned home for now.
It was going to be a problem upon now and yet it seemed to focus upon now, interested. The sound of footsteps made him roll his eyes as of now.
