Walking to the school after weeks of healing, I stopped at a wall that had something taped to it. It was a newspaper article. Around it, was a threat. The school festival will be in a rain of blood. Newspaper club. No Future. I read, shaking my head. Lifting one finger, I flicked the wall, crumbling it in one go before continuing on.
'We will have a future, all of us.' I thought, thinking of everyone, and then Moka and Tsukune. 'From what Mizore has told me, he has been calm, and Moka hasn't made any moves either.' I thought as I narrowed my brow.
"Holy crap, you're here?!" Kurumu yelled as I walked over to the table and sat down with everyone, keeping my eyes on Tsukune. "I totally thought that you left school! I mean, who would blame you? You were taken down by Tsukune after all!" Kurumu said, where I snapped my fingers at her, silencing her at the drop of a hat.
"Tsukune." I said in a warning tone, with him tensing up. "The next time, I won't get close to you." I said, pointing at him. "You have strength, you want something done, do it yourself. You need help, do it yourself. You even think of asking me for help, you better be dying." I said, with him looking down. "You nearly killed me, ripped out a kidney!" I said, crossing my arms. "As long as YOU are in control, I will tolerate you!" I said, then turning to Moka. "And you, what was your part in this?" I asked, where Moka looked down as well.
"I... You already know." She said, with me slamming my hands onto the table, making them all flinch.
"BULLSHIT?!" I yelled, standing up. "I don't want my thoughts; I want your words! Were you involved in my murder attempt?" I questioned, with her shaking her head.
"No, I swear!" She said, where I sat down.
"And the other you?" I asked, with her shaking her head as well. "Good, then I will tolerate you as well." I said, leaning back into the chair. "Someone change the subject!" I ordered, with Moka looking up in thought.
"I think the taste of Tsukune's blood... has changed." Moka said, with me shaking my head as this was going to start a fight.
"Taste of blood?" Kurumu asked as everyone turned to look at her. "What are you talking about?" She asked, before jumping over the table. "MOKAAAAA! You've been sucking Tsukune's blood again?!" Kurumu yelled as she fought with Moka, all the while Tsukune rubbed the side of his neck.
Later
Walking over to Mizore, she sat on the ground looking at pictures. Looking at them, I saw the message from earlier. "So, you've seen them as well?" I asked as I sat down next to her, with her nodding while picking one up and passing it over to me, showing me a broken wall.
"This one was the one you found." She said, where I turned to look at her as she put it back.
'So, you followed me?' I thought with a smile. 'It's good to know I can count on one of them to watch over me.' I thought as Gin ran in, took the photos and ran out before we could say anything. "What was that about?" I asked, looking at the door while Mizore shrugged her shoulders.
The next day
"This is serious! Have you seen this?! Its serious!" Gin yelled at the club as I sat with Mizore, reading a newspaper article with her in my lap, where I leaned into her and took in her ice-cold body.
"Ah... Kin Sempai... You haven't shown up in a while." Kurumu said, getting his name wrong.
"You're still alive, Bu chou?" Yukari said, with me looking at her as that was new. I had never heard her say Bu chou before.
"Idiot! Don't curse me! Look at the school's newspaper first!" Gin said as he placed a copy down on the table.
"Newspaper?" Yukari asked as she looked at the paper.
"The school festival will be in a rain of blood." Mizore and I read as one, with them looking at us.
"We strongly object to the school festival on the 29th of October. We plead the school management to stop it, or else there will be blood flowing on the 20th." Mizore continued as she placed a hand on the side that was punched by Tsukune, sending shivers down my spine. "How awful... Are they terrorists?" Mizore asked as she looked at me.
"Why are you telling it to me? Isn't that the newspaper club's newspaper!" Kurumu yelled, with us looking at her as she leaned down towards us.
"It says You kai Shinbun." I pointed out, with Kurumu looking at it.
"Realyyy?!" She asked in shock as that wasnt our name.
"It's a fake." I pointed out, taking the newspaper and smacking her upside the head with it.
"Someone was spreading these newspaper in bulk in the morning, there were graffiti on the school's walls as well." Gin informed, with me remembering the wall I flicked.
"A fake?!" Everyone yelled besides Mizore and I as it wasnt a surprise as we found this one yesterday and planed on reading it today.
"How did this happen... Who did it? Why?" Moka asked, hurt that someone would do such a thing.
"It's the group that opposes the school." Gin informed, having already figured it out, but so did we as it was obvious.
"Looking from the contents, it should be them." I said, where Mizore nodded her head in agreement. 'Anti Thesis.' I thought, remembering the branch we delt with.
"The newspaper that they've started this time will be the scape goat. We might be detained by the school... And even suspended." Gin said, with me thinking about being sent home.
"If that happens, I'm staying with Mizore." I muttered as I hugged Mizore, with her warming up a bit.
"Where is Tsukune?" Gin asked as he looked around for him.
"Don't know don't care, he is a big boy now, he can take care of himself." I said, with him looking at me. Looking to the side, we watched as Tsukune was being led away by a group of staff members, with me shaking my head as that wasnt good.
Later
Sitting on the roof, watched as a student spray painted the side of the building, talking to Tsukune as he had come up here to think. I knew he was a scapegoat, but I didn't care. If he left, then that was fine with me, I would no longer have to worry about him. Seeing said student slash Tsukune up, I yawned as that was fast, but not as fast as I was. I was able to keep track of him and could have stopped him if I wanted. Tsukune was a big boy now, he could take care of himself.
This turn of events changed when Moka showed up, and he targeted her instead. Feeling a power come off of Tsukune, I stood up as he got in front of Moka and punched him in the face, sending him flying. Taking off, I pulled back my fist. Once I reached Tsukune, I swung down on him. "Montana-"
I stopped once they looked up at me, with me coughing up blood soon after. Landing on the roof, I rolled on the ground and held my side, spitting up more blood. "Dakota?!" Moka yelled as she ran over to me, with me looking at Tsukune as he also made his way over. Seeing him kneeling next to me, I saw that he was himself, and not the vampire. "What's wrong?" She asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"He may be able to use his strength to a minimum, but due to his injuries, he can't use all of it, or he risks hurting himself even more." We heard, with us looking up at the chairman and his guards. The next second, one of the guards was next to us, grabbed me and jumped away. "Tsukune-Kun, you've passed." He said, with me looking at him. "I'll cancel the expulsion." He said, shocking me at that news before I was removed from the conversation, appearing in the medical wing, being looked at by the head doctor.
"Welcome back." He said, making me groan as I didn't want to be here.
